Nice spacious park for family fun & a bbq. BUT the restroom was hideous! The floors were wet with who knows (it could have been water or urine because it smelled bad) which caused a lot of track marks from people walking, one of the sinks never turned off, the bathroom stalls garbage cans looked like they weren't dumped since the day before (they were half full with bloody feminine hygiene products), there was no tissue in none of the stalls (we had to bring in our own roll if tissue & wipes) lastly the ranger on staff was super ghetto & unprofessional & keep asking us when we were leaving while we packed & cleaned up but didnt say anything to the family that was at the tables after ours. So the park itself was nice but clearly there's a staffing issue .

This is one of my favorite parks in Miami. I exercise here very other day and I love it. I've taken my kids to the playground, done parties and BBQs with friends, sat down to meditate and/or watch the dolphins pass by.. it really is wonderful. I only took 1 star off because there are several car break-ins / smashed windows (it happened to me) and not much is done about it; there are no security cameras and the guards at the entrance can only give the cars' tag numbers to the police, and in my case, the police took over 45 minutes to arrive. Nevertheless, I keep coming back, because it really is a beautiful space.

Lovely park on the intercoastal to enjoy the great South Florida sun and weather. There are a wide variety of activities to do including kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, running, and walking. There are more options available. Weekends can be very busy, but there is plenty of space available for recreational activities of all kinds. Enjoy the beautiful wildlife viewing and people watching. Plenty of metered public parking available. In a safe and secure gated neighborhood. Bathrooms and changing rooms are clean and well equipped. Definitely a great place to visit and enjoy.

I’ve been to quite a few parks throughout the northeast u.s., down the eastern seaboard; Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia down to Florida so similar to other posters, for me to give two stars means it’s a big fail, namely because of the bathrooms. Do they not have staff to upkeep the bathrooms? It doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in months; revolting and completely ruins the park experience. The beautiful surrounding grounds and views are tainted by the unkempt, filthy bathrooms at the center of the park. It’s a shame because it’s a nice area otherwise.

This park is beautiful. Cool playground and the families are overall nice. You can rent a canoe or paddle board for a reasonable price and paddle to the islands nearby (a good experience but some islands are covered w trash sadley) and you have to watch out for smaller motorboats. No swings and you have to walk a while to get from one area of the park to the other. Not a ton of shade. They have a pool but it's always closed. They should sell refreshments as I find myself thirsty or hot once in the park often.

I used to LOVE this park. Great location. Felt very secure. Open space. You can exercise...grill...hang out. And then my car window was busted out. Took police 30 minutes to come. Nothing ever happened...no follow up. A witness had a description of the vehicle that took off after. Should've been useful considering they take that info down when you enter, but no...apparently they do that to make it seem safe. All that glitters is not gold. There's some shady business in there...

This is a very open park. For those of you NE coast visitors, you will really enjoy the Central Park feel of this place. Tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamond fields, boat launches( though hours are conflicting), sea kayak rentals during the week...BBQ grills for festivities are vastly abundant...and if you just feel like you want to be with your group, alone, uninterrupted, this is by far the best park in NE Miami...hands down....check it out!

We passed by this lovely park while visiting the area, it was very clean with a nice ocean view. We were greeted by the nicest park ranger named Damian. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Damian gave us great guidance and showed great character. He sets a fantastic example of how a city employee should treat its guests. I'll definitely give this park a visit again and thank you Damian for making our visit so pleasant!!

  • Audrey

Such a lovely view of the water and downtown skyline in addition to having lots of trees, seating, and recreational options like a kayak rental and volleyball net. There is also a place to take a boat out into the bay (no jetskis allowed though) and, importantly, clean bathrooms. I've been discovering new outdoor places in the age of social distancing and this is a great (free!) park I want to explore more next time.

I've been going to this park at least once a week for 4 years. It's very nice if you just want to sit down somewhere and relax. There's a playground for little children and they have an after-school service for kids 6-13. I volunteered at their summer camp and it was a wonderful experience. They had park-wide activity from dodgeball to kayaking in the bay. A very pleasant experience.

  • Elizabeth Castillo

I love this park, it's so quiet, you can just relax watching the sea and breathing fresh air! It's a good place to jog. They recently added some aquatic activities that are going to start this summer! As a plus they offer a summer camp, so if you live close to the area, it could be something nice for the children! You can't do bbqs here but a picnic is welcome.

  • FDA/ RS

Lushly park!  I feel very safe going there to walk alone and when I go jogging.  Very clean and well kept. A hidden gem located off of the hustle and bustle known as Biscayne.   Best part is that it is guarded by a guard house. It has all of the amenities that you would look for. I love how you can rent a kayak or even a sailboat for super cheap. Enjoy. ****

  • Veronica P

Very nice park on the water of biscayne bay. It is well organized to play tennis with plenty of courts and a small fence to prevent balls from crossing said courts. It is priced fairly, as well. The park also has walking paths, a playground, basketball courts, kayak rentals, and plenty of parking! Add me on IG @MiamiCheatDays for more recommendations

  • Abigail Morales

A small park with a Kayak rental area, bbq areas, childrens playground and a baseball field. I did a birthday with the Kayak rental agency, Morningside Watersports and it was really fun. Rentals not available when there is high winds, or lightning. There are plenty of picnic tables and grassed areas for enjoying with family or friends.

  • Stanleyana V Thervil

This park has history and new renovation playground for the kids 3 to 12 years old. You can see the Miami Beach as you are walking or jogging on the morningside trails. They also have stopping points where you can do a quick exercise. Ride bicycle, basketball, fishing, grilling, and soccer. You name it. It has an open field.

  • Martin Kollek

WoW... Really awesome park. Really quiet and tranquil. If you want a place to just chill outside, this is it! If you have kids, it's another awesome option with the kids playground. It says it's meant for school kids, but out 16 month old had a blast as long as they are supervised very closely. They can get hurt easily here.

  • Denise Olliff

Enjoyed the park. Its clean, lots of different activities can enjoyed by friends and family, dog friendly, ocean view, you can cook,or bring your food.pinic tables,Frisbe croquete ..Bathroom do able...Park closes promptly at 700p! You will be remindedClean your area before leaving.Dont forget your cornhole or horseshoes!!

  • jany martin

Excellent park. Lots of space all around. Plenty of grills to have family cookouts. Last time I was there, I made a paella for my father on his birthday next to the tables where we were all comfortable. The day was gorgeous right by the water, lots of open field for games and playing catch, and it was very well kept.

  • Natalia Paerez Moreno

Amaizing park for water sports! Nice view and great prices to rent kayak or paddle boards. There are also excursions and different group plans. You can play with your family basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis. Picnic areas available. Bring mosquito repelent! And take some pictures with the most amaizing trees!

  • Sue Potts

We did not have a good experience here. The vibe of the playground was intimidating to us as first time users. Our young children felt it too and refused to get down from our arms and play. They felt very insecure. It was a lovely park but it felt very unfriendly. We will not be returning to this playground.

  • Dean Bush

Quiet, serine, tranquil, peaceful are a few words to describe this park. It has a children's playground, full basketball court, space for volleyball, workout equipment, picnic tables, and visitors can rent kayaks and small sail boats. ⛵ I highly recommend it for families but clearly everyone is welcome.

  • Daya “D.A.Y.A” Lon

Was a little hidden from the streets, you need to enter a gate in orden to get to the park, but when you get there in the very morning when the sun is just about to rise it’s just inexplicable. For those who enjoy the nature and everything that come with it, you will need to go there. Amazing view.

  • Angie D

Love this park, great running trail and also great for launching off on kayaks, canoes, jet skis or even fishing great view of Miami and also there is volleyball court can you say awesome lol! They also have a very nice lady who rents kayaks and etc. Right there for great prices. …

  • Maria Sincere

Great park by the water. I go running there it's so spacious and calming it makes running a mile easy. There's also a variety of water sports for rent. Definitely recommend checking it out for a leisure day. Only complaint is that the restrooms are disgusting but it's to be expected.

  • Janice B.

Nice park for families, huge open areas which is great for picnic or other activities. There are picnic tables and grills available. There is a playground, tennis and basketball area. To find this park, you have to go through what looks like a gated community but it is a public park.

  • Ezekiel Pierre

Great place to work out. I've recently started to come here to ride my bike with my dog. Lots of friendly people here to interact with. There is a lovely kids park for children to enjoy. Also, a basketball court with a tennis court. I'll be sure to come everyday with my dog to relax

  • Jacquelle Sconiers

Such a visually beautiful place for a nice walk. Very family oriented park, but also a nice spot for couples to have a waterside picnic. Haven't tried the water activities there, but people seem to be enjoying themselves. I simply enjoy the beauty of the walk around the quaint park.

  • Jocelyne Clémençon

This park is a little gem in the big city. We had our AirBnB 2 minutes away and it was a great start into the day, walking in nature, watching squirrels and lots of birds. We even saw dolphins! Can't recommend this park enough. It is free to enter, has lots of chairs and tables.

  • Miguel de la paz

This park has been neglected really bad it needs lots of work and cleaning. The mangroves are full of garbage and the facilities have been allowed to decay and dog feces everywhere. So watch your step...besides that it has a nostalgic feel to it and great views of the city.

  • Samya Johnson

I grew up at this park even though I dont live in the area which is what I love because the neighborhood is gorgeous! Fun place, humongous park with so many different things to do! Now my kids are enjoying this park so you can imagine how they have kept up with this place!

  • James Robinson

This is and has always been one of my favorite parks. The lush greenery of the neighborhood, the old, new and remodeled homes and the location right by the ocean, for me is to die for. Getting my walk on here is so much easier to do. Stay away if you don't like iquanas.

  • Shed Daphinis

Great park! Nice tennis courts and basketball court (there's also a baseball field). The bay dock and kayaking are great for weekends. Wish the soccer field had been better maintained. The soccer field is uneven and very patchy. It's an injury waiting to happen.

  • Jannifer Mc (Jazzy Jann)

One of my favorite Parks. I can sit with my thoughts peacefully, while listening to the ocean waves. My kids love to. U can walk the trails, play , there's a small play ground for the babies. I also see people⚽️, fishing & kayaking. …

Morningside Park is safety family-orientated lots of things to do exercise fishing BBQs nice clean water fountain and people friendly police Security on site good parks for kids play and parents can relax with but no problem I recommend this Park to anyone

  • Jonathan Chan

The best little park on the water that you didn't know existed It can seem a little tricky to enter but just follow navigation and pass through the guard station. Tennis courts, basketball, big walking trails and more. Enjoy and be respectful as always!

  • cloud :3

I like taking my friends here to chill. It's quiet and peaceful so it makes for a cool hangout spot with a bay view. You can even bring your pets here because it's big enough.+a basketball court to shoot some hoops. It's a nice park. I really enjoy it.

  • Kay Cee

Lazy Sunday afternoon laying on the beautiful grass looking out at the water. Watching water sports. People kayaking, jet skiing, boating and enjoying the Miami sun. Reading a good book. The park was not crowded. Very peaceful. Free and easy access.

  • Nicky yes Im blessed

Nice safe clean park with friendly people and the police are there to ensure everyone's safety.
Dog-friendliness
Dog friendly just have to have the dog on a lease and dogs are allowed all over the park except the playground and tennis area.

  • Betty G XnaroArencibia

A very perfect place for all park goers. This park has massive, beautiful trees and lots of space by the ocean. There is a very safe and fun playground as well at the north end of the park. You can rent kayaks as well. This is a hidden treasure.

  • Sharon Brenes

Great family park. You can have a picnic with a nice water view. You have a pool area, a park for kids, plenty of field space to play football or soccer, tables and BBQs area, volley ball area. They even have a boat ramp! It's amazing. Dogs

  • Jameelah Adas

We were visiting Miami for a few hours and stopped here on our way to the airport. It was our first time seeing dolphins playing in the water and a ton of little crabs along the water front. I turned around and got scared of a crab that was

This is a large BEAUTIFUL PARK to spend the day. There are swing area for little kids amd a basketball court. There is an area to just relax by the water. Huge trees to sit under with park benches and BAR B Q PITS to cook. Check it out.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Mario Sanchez Carrion

Very nice PUBLIC park... but here's the issue: the wealthy residents around the park decided to close access to every single street that leads to the park and installed barricades manned by private security guards. You can still get to the

  • Bianca Correa

Beautiful park. We hosted a baby shower and it was perfect! Windy, but nice and chilly. They have picnic table and trashcans all around and the park is fairly clean. Deducted the one star because the worker there is rude and unprofessional.

  • ricky jack

Wonderful place to visit. Great view of the water. No homeless people trashing the place. Bathrooms are fairly clean. And the beat part, there are no anoying people playing their loud and low IQ genre of music like most places in Miami

  • Seong Kim

It was too windy to go kayaking but nice to walk and see lots of banyan trees. It is gated so we needed to say that we just go to the park to the security guard. Restroom was pretty clean but make sure to bring toilet paper.

  • Ms Undy01

I love this park. I love to watch the boats, jet skis go by as well as sit by the water. The only thing I don't like is that a lot of time I see pet owners without their dogs on a leash and staff does nothing about it …

  • Seth Runkle

Wonderful park. Truly a gem. Great walking paths or a place to ride your bike. Soccer field, softball diamond, tennis courts, bbq area, boat ramp, large kid-safe and toddler friendly playground. If they only had a dog park!

  • Roody Pierre-Charles

My parents use to take me there as a kid and being back after 30 years brought back old memories. The view overlooking the water is amazing and calming. Will be going back more often, after discovering this gem of a place.

  • Torsten Maehle

This is one of Miami's nicest parks; large and directly on the water. There's lots of space for different activities such as BBQ places, a soccer and baseball field and of course fairly long ways to walk or exercise.

  • Perry Lee

Morningside is a great park to walk, run, play tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, etc. There are picnic areas that can be reserved and it's a very secure environment. The breeze from Biscayne Bay is refreshing.

  • S MW

Cute little park right on the water. My daughter loves playing here. I only gave it 4 stars because there’s not enough parking. But it’s really safe and there’s plenty of space to have a nice afternoon out.

  • Nichole

I’m from fort myers here on an evacuation from the hurricane and I stayed close by , there is a gate to get in but I had no issue just go right in Park is clean and beautiful! Water view and a big field

  • Dot Maniac

The park is amazing. Great bike path, and pocnic area. The only sad thing was the bathrooms were very dirty with toilet paper on the floor with feces. The smell of unine was nauseating. Please fix that.

  • 劉鎮豪

You can have a good view here. I booked an activity with Airbnb here and enjoyed that very much. Noticed that if you would leave late, a exit would be closed, so you need to leave by another exit .

  • Miami Native

Really beautiful place. We've had a couple of work retreats here and there's a lot of space with views of the bay and long expanses of lush green "barefoot" grass. A very peaceful and lovely park.

  • Steve Feuer

Great place to go kayaking and for me that never had before it was great especially my instructor Faye was very helpful in helping learn. Coming up is the full moon tour cant wait to log at night.

  • Alejandro Alvarado

Great for BBQs and family reunion... the playground is very nice too! Cons: People who take care of that park are driving like crazy those golf cars speeding while kids are playing and running.

  • Jayquan Exulien

Last week I had came out here by myself and I was seating down on a table and I had turn my head and somebody had their keys and i had took it and when I had got home I had throw it a the trash

  • jane doe

Been coming here since a kid. I am now in my mid 20s so that says a lot! My favorite park. Absolutely wonderful. Only con- I have never seen the pool open. Ever! And they removed the swings :(

  • Cheryl J

This park is still a great quiet hidden gem. No loud music obnoxious visitors or uncontrolled dogs. Excellent views, many water activities and many park benches to relax and enjoy your day.

  • Cesar Moreno

the worst boat ramp in florida 30 minutes to find the person who opens the gate and 45 minutes to leave waiting for the same employee who charges you 15 dollars cash for this bad service.

  • Dave Durandisse

The park is very clean and well preserved. It has a nice view. It is very big and have lots of activities. You can go camping or have a field day there. You feel connected with nature.

  • Sandra Alvarez

Small park, but great for riding bikes and walking around. Pet friendly but they most be on a leash. Good to bring kids and do picnics. There ate picnic tables and grills all over it.

  • Elisha Moretti

What a great place to quiet the Spirit and have fellowship with God. Meditate but don't forget to inhale..... exhale. This has been yet the best park that I've discovered lately.

  • Gabrielle F

Pros: lots of green space, waterfront Cons: closes at 7pm, even in summer which ends up being hours before sunset. Also they don’t allow hammocks in the park for some reason??

  • Melissa Alvarez R.

Is a gorgeous park with a lot of activities to do, excellent for relaxation, nature and exercise lovers...I enjoy a lot going to enjoy an energizing morning sunshine …

  • Jeremiah “Nick” Nixon

Beautiful park by the water. They also have a boat dock for small crafts. Played chess on the bench by the shore, great atmosphere until the mosquitos showed up!

  • Jonathan Robinson

The park is nice I guess but the staff is a joke. They could open the gate anywhere from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM depends on what time they get out of bed I guess.

  • Akea Shepard

Awesome park for everyone! I like to come here for walks but you'll see many families, couples, elderly, and pet owners enjoying this beautiful park.

  • Ruth Tuffet

A great place for picnics, walks and workouts. The children's playground could use an upgrade but overall it's a great public park in a pricate area

  • Miami Photographer PhotoVideoCreate

Very great place for photo! They have a Palm Tree garden and have all descriptions of different kinds of palm tree. Great place to explore in Miami!

Nice. Would be good: Have a fenced area to let dogs off leash. With this summer time, extend hour to allow us to be after 7pm.. the sun is still up.

  • Alisha Grays

Lovely park! There's an easy access boat ramp. You can bring your dog, ride bikes, enjoy nature. I love this tucked away park. It's a hidden gem
