Back in January I purchased a YD blazer that was on clearance, for a new job. The woman staffing the children's counter (or something similar) sold it to me, a direct Myer employee. The one I selected did not have a tag, and at this point I should've realised that was a red flag. I ended up not needing this blazer, as it was summer and the idea of commuting in this was not a good one. I returned to Myer two weeks after purchase, with the Blazer in the exact some protective sleeve it was placed in by the saleswoman. At the men's formalwear counter, I was told by a thoroughly disinterested man that they can't simply return it as it's YD and they're not technically Myer stock/sales, and he rang the YD representative. She informed him, and me, that it can't be returned without a tag. I was then directed to three different people around the store to discuss this further (and simply find out when the YD manager would deign people the courtesy of actually being present for her job, especially those who work full time and can't be present for standard retail hours except late night which, clearly, is not a time she considers important to fulfill her retail sales role - very competent). I told them I would return but after many phone calls was simply shut down repeatedly and decided to let the blazer fester in my wardrobe as I have better things to waste my free time on. I want to make clear that this is a direct violation of Australian Consumer Rights, and I have filed a respective complaint to that nature. Myer is lucky that I didn't charge this to my credit card, as I would've filed for a chargeback and got it. Disgusting conduct, and the only reason I've stepped foot back in Myer is because I won a giftcard there. I certainly won't be spending any of my own money there again, and warn everyone not to either. You can get their same garbage products online for half the price, anyway, it's all made in the same factories. P.S. yes, I did have the original receipt the entire time.

It appears that they don't like employing salespeople as it costs too much! Employ order takers and have a high turnover of staff .Like their Rundle Mall store,seem to have more than an abundant amount of foreboding security staff that appear menacing! Must lose out in sales and I prefer to shop around where I get prompt service rather than hunt around for a team member!Ground floor includes skincare,fragrances, hosiery, clothing accessories, homewares and appliances, bedding and bathroom items, kitchen ware,cookware etc! On the upper floor is women's, men's and children's wear,shoes and other related lines ! Hope the refurbishment holds them in good stead and sales improve!

Unfortunately i need to update my review. The dress i bought was faulty, a seem was coming undone and on a $220 dress i consider this unacceptable given it was not worn and only handwashed. Returned with receipt on 5th Nov. Advised i would get a call on 8th Nov and over a week later i am still waiting. Consumer law entitles me to repair, replacement or refund on a faulty item. Staff keep parroting that it is hard as the tags are not on the dress. I did not want to return it. I want the dress. Very poor form and despite repeated calls i cannot get any action. I was served by a couple of wonderful staff at Myer. In truth, not enough dressing rooms to try on clothes, there was a wait. Formal/cocktail dresses were available with a good range. Found 2 fabulous dresses for upcoming events. Had an issue with one and the young woman serving was simply wonderful. I wish i got her name. When referred on to a manager to finalise our purchse she was also great. Lovely to have a good experience.

Why do stores go on about customer service? Feel this is very incorrect! Went to my local Westfield Oaklands Pk S.A. partner needed updated funeral attire female served a customer walked past us at the counter no eye contact on her phone no acknowledgement waited a male attendant finally emerged from back room and was attending to a customer. To cut a long story short male wanted to have neck measurement checked and also if the shirt chosen was action backed. Attendant was agreeable. Male attendant also said he worked for Ferrari my question is well how works for Myer? I worked in retail for years if I dared to treat customers with a don't care attitude would not have a job so much for customer service!

I went to Myer, at Marion store in SA, i wenr to return a food processor that i had already for 11 months, that i wanted to return alot sooner, i wasnt able to return because of arthritis, i received over and above service from Brenda in appliance dept., the store manager offered great service also and approved the return of item, that i was allowed to choose another appliance, to replace i chose to have a micro wave, on a Myer special, that was in similar price to food processor, i would like to mention of the outstanding and good old fashioned service i received from Brenda and good service from store manager in the appliance section at Myer at Westfield Marion store, i thankyou very much, Marion

Purchased a Nespresso Coffee Machine. During the purchase we were sold a replacement waranty as an add on. This was sold as a supplementary poily to allow you to get the item replaced if it was faulty over a 2 year period. 13 months on we returned the item to Myer, sighting a problem with the machine as it will no longer take a pod. We were told the additional warranty only kicks in after the standard 2 year manufactrueres warranty expres. They will have to send it back to nespresso which could take weeks as its in NSW. What a joke! Now we have to wait for them to send it back and forth for assessment. Poor service and selling us a care policy that does nothing!

I will not be shopping at this store except in the occasion they have the lowest price on something I am after. I purchased something on the Myer website that showed it was "In Stock" at the store. I watched it for 2 days still preparing the order for Click and Collect. I ended up calling the store when I saw on the website it had changed to "Limited Stock". When speaking with someone at the store I was advised it was not in stock. They attempted to lie to me about how someone could have purchased the item from the store in the meantime. This was over 2 days and the website was still listing it as "Limited Stock."

If I could I would have given them a 0.spent over 20 mins waiting for assistance to get some sizes in 3 different pairs of shoes that I required for work. The lady in there was helping another customer so I waited for her to have a moment, after looking at her she didn't even made eye contact. Another customer asked for assistance and she helped them while I was clearly waiting there for a while for some assistance. Coming from someone who also works in customer service, a little acknowledgement of "my existence" would have been nice.

Shopping in Myer Marion for TS women's plus size clothes today and was spoilt for choice! Lots of gorgeous new-season knitwear, jackets, jeans, workwear and after 5 styles. Best of all there was 40% off full priced and up to 60% off on sale items. I loved the personal service and honest critique from the TS team member. Next I went to the makeup counter at Clinique for mascara and also bought some Chi Chi matte lipsticks. Overall, I was impressed by the friendly service; this has improved dramatically in the last few months!

After searching for a coat that was in the display at the entry to the store, I decided as it was near closing time, I’d take a picture of the coat and label, and ask a member of staff to help. Wandered up and down looking for a staff member with no luck so approached one of 4 ladies at the cash desk, and asked if she could help me find this item. “The store is closing in a few minutes, sorry” was the reply. Such bad customer service!

Forget to take the security tag off my clothing, they asked for the receipt but left at home, i said i will return with the recipt or my myer one card with the infomation, they tried to steal it back untill I arrived with the recipt, they made a simple mistake but then try to accuse me of stealing the item, just pathetic trying to put there mistake on a customer for there lack of attention for detail

While Myer itself is a great store, when the lift is out of order, there is no way to get up to the upper level unless you go out of the store walk all the way to the office tower and get that lift there. Then you need to walk through the food court to acess level 2 of Myer. Unfortunately, although these lifts service 8 floors, they are very small, and most of the time, only one is in service

Was followed and watched by staff like a hawk!! Fair enough people pinch things, but all I did was spray a cologne tester, and was looked at like I went in blazing a AK-47. That's the sort of treatment that says I won't be back to that store, there's just no need to do that to someone who is nearly 50!! I'm no angel, but I'm above shoplifting perfume! Was very disappointed!!

Myer need to review their customers shopping experience wanted to purchase and item and couldn't find any staff. Myer save yourself some money dont have so many cash registers etc and pay for an extra staff member to be in attendance at one. No wonder the shares have fallen so much. Looking at products was great but the rest of it you need to update.

Went there to get dress pants, asked a lady if she could help and she pointed me in the direction where to look. The lady in that department seen me get directed her way but stood there gas bagging with her other 2 colleagues. Didn’t want to interrupt their little picnic so went to another store down stairs where the staff was more than helpful.

I would like to commend Rose in men's wear for her helpful and friendly assistance. Many assistasnts appear to try to avoid customers, but she approached me and offered help. I suggest you institute assessment cards to encourage your staff to be more obliging and help administration recognise leadership potential in their staff.

Audrey in the Bra department went over and beyond any sales person I have experienced. She was so professional and helpful with a fabulous attitude. I must have tried on over 18+ pair of bras, as having had a breast reduction, fitting was truly a challenge! Audrey is definitely a real asset to Myers in Marion.

Nice store, but every time I go to the shoe dept it takes ages to get served. 1-2 people on and this does not meet the requirements of the customer's. You either have to wait or give up. They need to better staff this dept.
