I had a wonderful experience working with NorthStar Movers last month for my local move. There were three members of their team that handled everything- Albert (foreman), Wilber, and Andres. They arrived on time and Albert was very clear on the process and layout for how they would be handling everything. But, each of them were very professional and careful with furniture that had to be wrapped and heavy boxes. I was also putting personal stuff in my car and they kindly offered to help me with that as well. I lived and moved into an upstairs apartment with one flight of stairs and they had no issue and didn’t try to sneak in extra charges- what was initially quoted was confirmed. Everything was moved into my new place with just one small hiccup- my fridge has some dents in it, but nothing of a large issue. With a window of 4 hours, they completed the move in appx. 2, and charged me less than the original quote. I would absolutely recommend NorthStar Movers to any one that is looking for a professional moving company with great service. And when you do choose them, make sure to tip the team well, they deserve it!

My third major move with NorthStar. Since I moved deep into Orange County, I didn't initially call them. After trying to navigate all the companies out there, I went back and now I remember why. Customer service and the move team are excellent. Ron Cohen is superior. We did our video walk through, he made sure the schedule was good. He called just prior to, during and after the move. We had issues with a couple of items and the team was right on it. The team packed us up one day and moved us the next. They were long, long days and the team was outstanding. Respectful of us and our belongings. Romero made sure all was right with the placement of furniture and boxes. We were able to empty all the kitchen boxes before they left and they took them with them. NorthStar knows how to pack. With so many boxes and a lot, lot of paper there was a huge pile in our garage. We called them and they came to get them. So much better than us trying to get rid of it ourselves. This is our last move (that's what we said 2 years ago) and won't be doing this again. I would, though, recommend NorthStar to everyone and anyone.

This past weekend, we were filming in a massive home and needed to refurnish the entire home in one day. Robert and his team showed up with all of our furniture and over the course of 8 hours unloaded, unpacked, assembled and set up over 200 pieces of furniture and decor. They were the nicest and most efficient team I’ve ever worked with. On top of that, I had a few pieces of large furniture that came without instructions and Robert and team without hesitation figured it out. They were so careful with navigating the home and not damaging anything. They worked so well with my own team and before the day was over, everyone felt like they accomplished something massive. Once our filming ended, Robert came back with his team to help us restore all the original furniture in the house. They were up for the challenge working carefully to make sure the house was back to its original condition. I am so impressed with this team and company! I have used them in the past and will continue to use them for all our projects to come. A++++++++

Very impressed and pleased by the service I received. Arthur, Reynaldo and Emanuel were terrific! They showed up on time calling and keeping me updated on their ETA, once there they made sure to be extra careful with all my belongings, they shrink wrapped them (even my laundry basket) to make sure it wouldn't get any markings or damage. They were super fast, very friendly and professional. They went the extra mile volunteering to take my bed frame apart that I was getting rid of, I greatly appreciated that. My past moving experiences have been stressful, but they made the whole moving experience stress free, pleasant and very quick. They were very careful with unloading everything and asking me where exactly I wanted everything placed or if I wanted them to move anything to make my unpacking easier. My items arrived at my location damage free. I'm recommending them to everyone I know who's moving and I will be going back to them for all my moving needs!

I don’t write reviews, but I’m writing one about the NorthStar Moving Company and that they are THE BEST!!! Gil was very friendly and easy to work with whenever I had any questions. If I emailed him about something, he replied immediately. If I called him, he always picked up and was very professional and pleasant to talk to. As for the moving crew, George, Carlos and Luis were absolutely amazing! They worked hard, fast and were very careful when handling our furniture. They worked well together and had great communication with each other when moving furniture. Before they moved our washer and dryer from upstairs to downstairs, they asked if we could move our 7 month old daughter away so that she was out of harms way in case of an accident. That ALONE made me appreciate the moving crew and hiring NorthStar Moving Company to help us pack and transport our belongings. I highly recommend NorthStar Moving Company for your next move!

We've had many movers over the years, but these guys were the best and most professional so far. The crew showed up on move day, and the foreman quickly assessed our situation and inspired a lot of confidence as he laid out the day's plan. The crew had a good attitude, worked quickly, and all the guys were helpful. I wasn't sure everything would fit on the truck but these guys must be great at Tetris because there was even room to spare at the end. The crew was: Alfredo (foreman), Albert, Eddie and Brandon. We were about 75% packed when they showed up, and they filled in the gaps. We arrived safely at our destination and they unpacked and placed all the furniture. And nothing got damaged! The job was completed on time and on budget. Changing addresses is always stressful, but these guys at least made the move itself worry-free.

NorthStar moving help us out so much on the move! The movers arrived promptly to our place just as expected and was ready to help move our stuff into the truck. They had the proper tools and additional boxes to help pack the remaining items. Our furniture and delicate pieces were wrapped very nice and protected from any damage. Nothing was broken or lost in our move and was very pleased with the work ethic of the movers. There was no downtime or lag on the movers and they wanted to get the job done as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this company to all my family members and friends in the future. I have never used a moving company before but I found the best one on the first try! We had a very pleasant experience with Northstar movers, from the beginning of the process getting the quote (thank you Stephanie), certificate of insurance, and all the way through the move. The movers that we had (Alex, Alex, and Drew) were wonderful. They were punctual, professional, and pleasant to work with. They took great care of our items and and the move was absolutely seamless. We lived on the third floor of the building we were moving out of with no elevator and they were able to handle this with no issue. The cost of the move was also desirable in comparison with other companies and it was great that you could use cash or card and the same rate applied (other companies will up-charge for the use of a card). I would not think twice about using their services again, thank you for a great move!

These men were very helpful with what they did. They moved countless boxes and heavy items out of the second story building very quickly. They then moved everything up four flights of stairs very effortlessly, and did so in a very fast manner. Not to mention that a lot of the furniture they moved was very large and very heavy. I am extremely happy with how gentle they were with everything, as nothing was damaged, and everything was organized properly. Frank, Daniel, and JJ were very friendly and easy to talk to. This was my first time using a moving company and I was very happily surprised with the quickness and helpfulness of these men. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to move anytime soon! They had incredible measurement and placement skills. These three are the supermen of moving!

This team from Northstar were fantastic! I have used Northstar multiple times for moves and they are outstanding. They are kind, professional and really take such great care of my furniture and property. They are very attentive to where and exactly how you want things packed and moved in. Unfortunately, my air conditioning broke right before the move and this historical heat wave in California had temps soaring to 90 degrees INSIDE my place! The Northstar crew of Emmanuel, Santos, Kyle and Willie didn’t complain thru the most horrible climate conditions to be packing and moving a 3 bedroom home. They were incredibly gracious as I apologised profusely. They worked quickly and efficiently and placed my furniture and belongings perfectly. You won’t be disappointed hiring this moving company!

I have used NorthStar's services in the past when I was looking for a reputable moving company. I was so impressed by their service that I decided to use them again this past month to move. Jorge J, Juan R, Victor T were outstanding in their service. They came in, asked what needed to be moved, they packed everything neatly, and even took extra care of my bed (which was really heavy). None of my furniture or equipment got scratched or even had a speck of dust on them. That is what I call service. These guys just came in and did the work with no issues at all. NorthStar was great back then and are still great now. I definitely got my money's worth. If you are looking for great movers, these guys are it. I will definitely use them again in the future when I move. Great job fellas!!!

Brandon's crew was effective and amazing. They arrived promptly and moved expediently and efficiently. I cannot say enough great things about them. I have never used movers before but I couldn't imagine the process being any easier than it was and I can't imagine going back to moving myself. They disassembled all the furniture and wrapped it, loaded everything in no time flat, then had everything into the new place before you could even blink. They were all super friendly and helpful. If you're looking for movers, ask for the people at Northstar. I'm so glad my current apartment complex is working with them because I'll definitely be calling them the next time I decide to move.

We've used NorthStar Movers for two major moves in the past eight years, so when we needed to get someone to help us move some things from my mother-in-law's estate into storage it was a no-brainer. Our movers were Andy, Alejandro, and Daniel, and we couldn't have been happier with their work, which included moving some super-heavy boxes full of books and some heirloom furniture. They kept us posted about where they were at all times, both in picking up our belongings and when they were a few minutes away from the facility where we were meeting them. Thanks Andy! Great crew, great job. Very satisfied, and of course if we need movers again we're going with NorthStar.

Alex's Team was awesome! They were on time, professional, and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of loose items to pack up still when they arrived but they were awesome and went ahead and did that for me, which is different from other movers I have used in the past. They were also able to easily disassemble my bed frame, desk, and dresser that I thought may not be able to get out of my bedroom. They were super communicative and asked a ton of questions to make sure that I was happy with the move even though they were the experts. I will definitely keep them in mind for my next move (which hopefully won't be for awhile). Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

The team was amazingly professional and worth every penny. The estimate was very extremely accurate and the communication was great before they showed up. The movers did everything we asked and even more that we did not ask and I would highly recommend them to anyone making their next move. What was extra special was their smiles laughs and fun that they had during the day of the move which made what could be a stressful time a lot of fun for us. We were combining two houses into one and they did it seamlessly and helped us even organize boxes in sections in the new house . If you don’t call them for your next move you’re missing out.

I used NorthStar to move and store a great deal of my furniture while my home was being remodeled. I've used several difference moving companies in the past, but NorthStar is by far the most outstanding. Pedro, Edgar, and Jonathan were amazing. They took incredible care with my furniture. In particular, the time they took with my more fragile items reassured me that they would remain in excellent condition. While they took great care they also managed to be incredibly efficient. Finally, Pedro, Edgar and Jonathan were super easy to work with and they couldn't have made the incredibly stressful moving process easier.

This is the second time I’ve used NorthStar for my move; today and 12 years ago. The crew was very professional, worked tirelessly, and wanted to know how I wanted my items to be handled/placed. They were on time and called before reaching my house and finished within promised time frame. William P, William C, Sergio, and Jorge were my crew and each person worked hard and well together! Moving can be stressful but it doesn’t need to be if you hire the right help. I’ve hired other movers before and I know a great company from not. I will hire NorthStar again in a heartbeat and recommend them wholeheartedly.

I had an excellent experience with NorthStar. I would highly recommend requesting Alfredo, Albert, and Kenneth. I can vouch that they will do a quality job and also do it in a timely manner to help save you money, since it’s charged by the hour. It was totally worth it and made my move super efficient. They took great care to keep my things intact and also prevent bangs and scratches on walls and floor. Alfredo was the lead and he was extremely professional and totally a people person. Immediately felt comfortable with him. Everything was transparent and I had no surprises with the final bill.

Michael and his crew were amazing! From the very beginning they were super understanding, communicative, and helpful. Someone parked in our temporary no parking zone so the guys were nice enough to pause the clock and go wait elsewhere while the tow truck arrived. After that, smooth sailing. They were really careful wrapping and transporting (not a scratch!) and moved everything into the new place quickly. They did it all with a great attitude too, even when faced with the 3 story loft I was moving into . Highly recommend and can't thank them enough for a stress-free move.

Great experience! A coordinated move through my relocation company, my first contact with NorthStar Movers was from Michelle confirming date and time range for pick up. I was called an hour before as promised with in the allotted time frame. Robert and Santos were professional and helpful, and while packed by owner, they were very considerate of my things and went the extra mile in helping me pack one last item. This moving company and the movers I had were amazing! I was dreading the move because people kept telling me how much movers were a nightmare and cheat the system and don’t care about your stuff. I had three movers, (Brian R., Wilber and Francisco). They were fabulous. They were punctual, actually a few min early, and worked hard and took great care of my VERY heavy furniture. They made the driving time in about the same time as I did in a fast small car! They rebuilt everything, never complained and were very respectful! Would highly recommend and use again in no time!

Brian R. and his team were fantastic! They arrived earlier than the window we were given, which was awesome because our move was completed before we expected it to be. They were fast and took great care of all of our items. They did an excellent job wrapping our furniture, as well as our television, and once we arrived at our new place, unloading was incredibly efficient, and they put everything where we wanted it to be. Did a move from Glendale to Hollywood today. My house in Glendale was on a teeny tiny street and had about 30 stairs up to the house. Jorge J, Jorge L, William C and Bryan R from North Star moving did a stellar job moving everything. Had some very delicate and collectible furniture and they brought everything with no damage. They were fast and finished the job under the time that was estimated. Will definitely use them again and strongly recommend them. Very happy with them!!! Third great move with Northstar! Albert was our team leader, and the other movers were Wilbur, Andres, and Hector. All extremely kind, courteous, and unbelievably hardworking. These 4 heroes moved us between houses on a 95 degree day and were still incredibly sweet whenever I asked for anything to be moved around. Thank you! ***updated 2023*** Just did another move with Northstar (my fourth one!). Israel, Christian and Javier were are all incredibly strong, reliable, and friendly. Nothing was broken or damaged. Very happy!

This is the first time I’ve ever used a mover here in LA. I am 110% satisfied with the services provided today that I had to instantly make a review. Frank, Mason, and Javier were such a perfect and efficient team. They were on time and made sure they got the job done as efficient as possible. Always a great moving experience with NorthStar! I've used them everytime we move (4 times now!) and never a bad move. Friendly, professional and always willing to help in any way they can. I even had someone buy a furniture from us on moving day and they helped put it in their car - they offered by the way, I didn't have to ask. These guys are great! Arthur and his team (Reynaldo and Emanuel) arrived right on time and were super friendly and organized. I had a little complicated move with two different drop off locations and they handled both quickly and effectively so that everything got to the right place. Michael, Jimmy and William did an excellent job packing and moving my items into storage. They were here on time, they quickly helped me figure out how to protect my more delicate furniture (piano, and desk) and brought extra materials to make sure everything was packaged properly for storage. It all took two hours and I did not have to stress about a thing. Highly recommend!!

This was my first time using a moving company. It was worth every penny. Abel, Carlos, and George were professional and efficient. They listened to my needs. When they arrived, they hadn’t been told I needed to go to two locations, but they quickly adapted! They worked very hard and I’m very grateful. I recently used northstar for a long distance move. The pickup was quick and efficient, every single piece of furniture was wrapped. Upon delivery I had a minor issue with communication regarding some missing parts to one of my tvs. I was later contacted by northstar and they went above and beyond in making the situation right. The guys did a great job! They were on time and worked very hard to pack up the place. They transported everything securely and were very professional throughout the move. Jose, Willy and Cesar were fantastic. These guys didn’t waist any of our time. Worked hard. Problem solved and made it happen. They took our disorganized packing and efficiently fit it into a shipping container that was WAY too small. Cesar must be a world Tetris champ the way he maneuvered our stuff into the unit. I’d recommend these guys to anyone.

Pedro, Juan & Jose and entire crew were professional, kind, seriously hard working. They did the seemingly impossible- pack move & unpack fragile pottery, artwork, family heirlooms to arrive perfectly. I can’t thank them enough. We’ve been using them for professional/personal use for 5 years now. And we another great experience moving into our home yesterday. I had Jairo S., Kevin R., and Jose G help… they were extremely positive and worked diligently throughout the 7 hour move. Yes… Northstar is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Punctual, professional, knowledgeable, extremely hard working, didn't balk about moving arcade style pinball machine, regulation air hockey table, oversized massage chair, or big stereo. Everyone knew exactly what to do when. It was like watching an orchestra. Would use them again!! 7 guys, 2 trucks, 1 exhausting day. Thanks, guys!

Bryan R. & crew were the best! I was nervous but they were super professional, arrived early, worked VERY hard and quickly. Move finished early with no disasters at all! It went so smoothly.
