I found Nu-Gen Electrical thru another organization that I once used. First, although based in Hamilton, they also service the Niagara Region where I recently bought a house. Bonus ! Second, when Daniel came to look at the work I needed to get done, he was polite and informed. I felt very assured Nu-Gen was experienced and up-to-date. Daniel provided an estimate which was very reasonable. Bonus again! Third, as he was leaving, he asked if I test my smoke alarms regularly. This I do at the start of each month. This simple question showed me he was concerned about the safety of my home and family. No other electrician has ever asked me this before. Bonus again ! The first job done was started on the date we agreed on and completed the same day. The final cost was as estimated. No pricing or work hassles! I watched him as he worked and was very pleased with the methodical way he went from task to task, as well as attention to detail and cleanup. He had all the tools he needed to get everything done. These are signs of a true professional. Bonus again ! I hired Nu-Gen again a month later. This time he brought two others to do the work, but he showed up with them at the outset to explain what I wanted done and see if there were any changes or issues. No problem. All was done and completed satisfactorily, again as estimated. I will soon be bringing Nu-Gen in for another series of electrical work I need doing. I am very pleased with Daniel and his team and recommend Nu-Gen to anyone needing electrical work.

I hired Daniel and his team for some work at my personal residence. From initial contact I was blown away by his professionalism and timeliness in response. They went above and beyond to collect information needed prior to giving me a quote to ensure it was as accurate as possible (i.e calling the hot tub company to confirm amp usage and the city to confirm service upgrade options) and came back to me with simple solutions to a somewhat complex installation. As a female homeowner I felt like Daniel was being straight forward with me, answered and educated me on any questions I had and was never condescending or impatient, for that reason I was 100% comfortable relying on his recommendations throughout the process. I would hire their team again in a heartbeat for any other projects personally and will refer them to my business clients.

We hired Daniel and his crew originally to do some commercial work at our Veterans club to replace a light fixture, on time, great price and happy to see younger people back in the trades. Because of their work I hired them to do electrical work in my own home. Again quality work, on time and good price. In fact when paying my bill I didn’t look at the price and paid by credit card. His techs made an unintentional mistake and charged me twice for one part of the service. Daniel the owner called me right away, apologized and refunded the overcharge. I have more electrical work to do in my home an will hire Nu Gen Electrical Services without hesitation.

Nu-Gen was recommended to me by a family friend following a power surge and blown socket. Of the four electricians I contacted, only Daniel answered the phone upon my first phone call and was able to get his team to check the safety of our electrical system that same day. His team is efficient, professional and friendly. Not being someone with any knowledge of things electrical, I appreciated Daniel explaining the issues to be addressed and solutions. The follow-up call after the job was done to ensure our satisfaction was the cherry on top of a job well done!

I would highly recommend this company as they were called in to check out a problem we were having with our light switches (2) in our home. One was sparking and the other one wouldn’t work with the sliders. The property management company couldn’t figure it out but when these guys came it was done in a matter of minutes. They switched out the outlets and fixed both. Both outlets work perfectly. Great customer service and quality work. Thanks again for fixing our issue with our lights.

Two fine young men just left my home after doing an excellent job on some basic electrical work which I had been putting off being done. They showed up when they said they would, so my day wasn't wasted. They did the jobs in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves, and were on their way in no time. My wife and I were very happy with their work and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family.
