We were a group of 6 staying in 2 rooms. We had the Suites: Kilkenny and Londonderry. Each suite had 2 queen sized beds and a bathroom, could fit 4 people. The Kilkenny suite was more spacious but the Londonderry suite was one of only 2 rooms that had access to the upstairs balcony. Temperature-wise, Londonderry was a little cooler - if you're a hot sleeper, this is the room for you. The blankets on the second bed were thinner. Londonderry had 2 tv's (one in each room of the suite), Kilkenny only had 1 in the main room. You can bring food back and eat in the dining room that seats 12. Beautiful home, built in the 1800s, high ceilings, wood everything. I loved it! Narrow back stairs and beautiful front stairs, parlor with a piano, and family room. Lots of seating outside - porch swings and a fireplace. The floors are crooked and squeaky, the bathrooms are narrow with claw foot style tubs, it was perfect. So many small details throughout. There were ac units in all the rooms, so there was noise from that but on the plus side, it covered any noise from other guests. Oh! and complimentary breakfast - oatmeal, yogurt, sweet bread, milk, juice, coffee. Staff were nearby and easily accessible by text. We'll be back - I can't wait!

Loved this historical B & B and I'm not even a fan of B&Bs.The rooms are cute. The staff is very friendly and the neighborhood is so interesting. I think a few things would make it five star. The room I booked had a picture of two beds or what could have been a bed and a large couch. Showed up and the room was totally different. Granted this was in hotels dot com but if you're contracting with another site, update your info. I came with a friend and thankfully, we're close enough to not have been troubled by sharing a bed. Secondly, we were told the person before us took the info card attached to our keys when we arrived. Apparently, that card had the information about how to get into the house after hours. When we arrived back from our concert at midnight, we were locked out of the house and neither key we had worked to unlock the door. Thankfully, someone had accidentally left the back door unlocked and we were able to "break in", otherwise we would have had to sleep in the car. This would have had me pretty upset. Lastly, toiletries could be upgraded from the full-size bottles of Suave products in the bathroom. This just made the place feel cheap which is unfortunate because the place is adorable.

We stayed here for a few nights on our 25th anniversary. The Inn is amazing. Many original architectural aspects. Very romantic. The outdoor patio areas are great! The colonial houses in the area make for a very nice walk. Location is great. The lady in charge (Sandra) is very attentive and caring. I have a bad back injury and was worried about the bed type. She was very helpful in being sure I was comfortable. We might make the excuse to go back to Texas simply to stay here again. I have only 1 thing to mention... if you aren't familiar with older plumbing, be sure someone in your room doesn't flush the toilet while you're showering or you'll be scalded! (Pretty common in the era). Definitely recommend this Inn for whatever reason for your travels.

Stayed here during a week-long trip last May. We normally don't do BnBs, but this place made us a believer. This place was convenient (we used Uber to get downtown), competitively-priced, clean and comfortable. From what I remember, it seemed like street parking would not be an issue if you're bringing a car. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. The entire place is cute with ample seating space outdoors on the big front porches and beautiful backyard. We arrived after hours and had no problem getting in. I loved that our room was equipped with coffee, tea, mini-fridge and microwave. We ended up walking to a dollar store that was about 15 minutes away to get breakfast supplies for the week (breakfast is not provided, but they normally had cookies/coffee/tea/water in the dining room). The neighborhood was cute and quiet in itself. Great Mexican restaurant at the top of the street. If we ever return to San Antonio, I would definitely stay here again.

The proprietor's friendliness set the tone for a wonderful two day visit. I've stayed at enough hotels in the past to rack up platinum status at two different hotel chains. However, this trip was to be different, and it certainly proved to be better than I could have expected. The rooms were deceptively roomier than I expected. The hospitality was a simmering warmth, not over the top and not mediocre. However, the most memorable for the trip was the breakfast! Yes, this is indeed a bed and breakfast that does the best breakfast I've seen in years. The variety of items to choose from was great, and the quality of the food was outstanding. This is certainly a B&B that is kid-friendly, as you may find a room to your liking that does include more than one bed. For a family get away, this is quite affordable.

Quiet- well lit neighborhood. Front and back doors lock automatically after you enter.

Several delish restaurants in quick driving distance.

Beautiful parlor and piano room to enjoy a laugh and a bottle of wine in the evening.

My daughter and I stayed here to be close to her wedding venue at Japanese Tea Garden on Oct 28. The owner definately deserves the title if Super Host. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She let us check out at 1:30 so we could get ready (did not charge anything extra). The weather forecast for my daughters special day was not great and our super host was willing to let us have ceremony at her hotel again at no additional charge. The day cleared up and we had ceremony at reserved location, but her kindness and reassurance will never be forgotten. Thank you very much.

The home was lovely with each room a little different. We stayed the the Kerry Suite which had access to the front balcony and a side reading room. The clawfoot tub was lovely and roomy and the provided heaters which took the edge off the coldish room. The house has creaky stairs and think walls so it could be very noisy with the wrong guests but, everyone was considerate the night we were there. The proprietor was so lovely and friendly and was available 24/7. The continental breakfast was a little sparse but overall we loved out little babymoon

Stayed here while planning an event in town; and it was lovely! There are no less than TWO comfortable porch swings on the front patio, a fire pit in the back, and a lovely historic neighborhood to stroll in! The breakfast tacos in the morning are filling, and they offer different coffees and teas, all day. I stayed in the Dublin room, which is on the first floor, and opens to the family room (common area.) There were times it felt as though I had the whole house to myself. The room came with two space heaters, just in case, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Thank you so much, for a wonderful stay!

Impressed! Very clean room... Stayed in the Londonderry Room. Love that the bathroom is private and attached. Great breakfast! fruit and desserts were available throughout the day. Outside there is an enclosed backyard (great for young kids) with plenty of space to play and seating. Fireplace and BBQ grill available for guests to use. We used both on a cool February evening. I would definitely recommend this B&B and the location. The only possible negative, street parking... if that bothers you.

  • Julián Rodriguez

A really beautiful home in a great neighborhood. I would definitely recommend staying here. We came to town to see Little Jesus at Paper Tiger and wanting a place that was within walking distance, it was the perfect option. It beat the price of all bnb’s of the air variety by a long shot. Very clean and a nice porch to relax on in the evening. One thing is the walls are somewhat thin so night time is quiet time, if you can muster that you’ll love it here.

Visited a few days ago with my wife to celebrate our anniversary and see how things looked a few years after getting married there. We were warmly greeted by staff, who offered to recreate pictures for us on the porch swing and under the pagoda. The grounds were immaculate and we were told of all the recent renovations. We have had nothing but positive experiences there and wouldn't hesitate recommending.

This place is so unique and adorable! Our room was clean, comfortable, and had an easy self-check in process. The breakfast provided was light but delicious, and everyone we encountered was friendly. We will definitely be staying here again any time we come back to San Antonio! I definitely recommend staying here.

Charming home in great location close to the River Walk. The Mgr, Sandra, was extremely accommodating. Fresh cookies every day in the lobby area were a treat. Courtyard was very large with lots of porch swings and private table/chairs to enjoy the outdoors (even bug spray was provided!). Highly recommend!

Amazing house! It has so much character and is beautiful. I stayed here for my wedding that was around the corner and there couldn't have been a more perfect place for me to get ready. Breakfast was delicious and the common areas were perfect for some of our wedding guest staying there. My mother in law raved about this placed. I will definitely stay here again!

  • Erica C.

Great place to stay. It was an older home so it had a lot of character. Free WiFi and breakfast delivered to your door daily at what ever time u choose. I would definitely stay here again if I was to be the San Antonio area. On the last day we got a special basket with goodies for breakfast. No complains. Just book and go trust me you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at O’Casey’s for Fiesta and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The mansion is historic and beautiful with plenty of amenities to fit our group of nearly 30 people inside. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly! Close to downtown and amenities while situated on a quiet street. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!!!

Had the most wonderful experience at this Bed and Breakfast! Was taken care of and it was relaxing to be in a neighborhood instead of a hotel....and experiencing La Fonda around the corner was absolutely scrumptious, will definitely be a repeat customer!!!

This place was awesome! Didn't really see a whole lot of people like I expected so it seemed like we always had the house to ourselves. The kerry and Kilkenny suite are the rooms that have access to the front porch upstairs so I recommend booking one of those. Inn keeper was extremely nice and amenities were much better than a hotel.

  • KC Eck

Tried to contact O'Caseys about putting their bed and breakfast in a tourism publication. The person who answered the phone was talking to a screaming child the entire time I was on the phone with her. She then told me she didn't have time and hung up on me. Not very professional and not very interested in promoting their business.

My husband and I stayed for an overnight getaway while visiting friends in San Antonio. We stayed in the Carriage House studio and it was amazing. Comfortable, quiet, cozy, relaxing and an amazing breakfast. We have already recommended this to family members. Thanks ladies - great hospitality! The Halls.

A little dissapointed. Coffee stations were empty soon after we arrived. Water in bathroom not very hot and facilities were on the scruffy side. General layout not really suitable for adults sharing.

Cute B&B. We stayed in the Kerry room which faces the street. Traffic is light and the room is quiet. It's a comfortable place to stay that seems centrally located to most things. Give it a try.

3.5 stars (Google wouldn't let me put a half) Reasons for rating: A little far from downtown. A little noisy/bright at nighttime. Otherwise, it was clean, good hostess, good breakfast.

Quaint Inn on quiet street. The location was great and the staff provided excellent suggestions on places to eat. Really enjoyed sitting on balcony watching squirrels, birds and dogs.
