Very disappointed that Michelle would get on a public internet page and directly target me while putting down a bike at a reasonable price that people can actually afford that isn't up to her high standards. Not everyone is made of money to enjoy biking, and having such a bitter person to publicly embarrass someone that doesn't is far from appreciated. I purchased the said bicycle for my son, he then reads Michelles comment about his new bike that was primarily directed at myself and is now very upset at me that i've bought him a rubbish and unreliable bicycle.... Thanks a bunch. I personally thought buying a brand new $3500 bike at a 40% discount for $2000 was a great deal for my son to get started, but it would seem because of other people being obnoxious and know-it-all's, I have made a mistake. It's not a great way for a worker in a family run shop representing their workplace with this kind of attitude making it's way onto internet sights, as it's a massive reflection on how the business behaves behind closed doors. No I don't want to make contact to discuss, better yet, learn some humanity and compassion.

I can’t speak highly enough of this place! I had a bike in pretty poor condition and Nick was honest and upfront about what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate but warned me that it may cost more. I picked up the bike today and he told me that when he tried to fix it other problems surfaced and the final price should have been another $200 extra but he had tried to keep the price as close to his original estimation as possible. On top of that, he had given it a thorough clean and with all the work he has done on it, it now feels almost like a new bike! I don’t often write reviews but this time I had to say something!

First time visiting the shop & Nick with rear road wheel for retension. I've been a roadie since '85 & walked into a lot of bike shops with some good, some ok & some just plain bad & mainly due to lack of service of the owner or staff. Nick's an easy guy who knows his stuff & explains in detail the issue. Good to be able to speak one on one with someone who is working on your gear. Did it in very short time & not expensive like some & also messaged when ready to pick-up. Any issue I have in future will be dealt with by them. Great work & shop. thks again!

These guys have always done their utmost to be helpful whenever I've gone there, no matter how big or small the spend is likely to be. They also actively contribute to the cycling community - they sponsor Bayside BMX and I've seen them helping out at RATS events. Anyway ... the motivation for this review is to say that I love the 100% S3 sunnies I got the other day. Michelle gave great advice to help me choose and I am super happy with them. Awesome road cycling sunnies from an amazing local bike shop. If I could give 7 out of 5 stars I would.

Nick is always professional and gives great service. I particularly appreciate that he takes the time to explain his work to you so I can understand what he has done and what the problem was with your bike. I recently took my bike to him to sort out some persistent noises coming from my bike. He found the problem and fixed them. My bike rides like a dream again. A truly genuine, wholesome family business – The Pedal Inn. I recently moved to the area and took my two bikes to the team for a service. I was very impressed with the relaxed and helpful atmosphere of Tris, Nick & Shell. They discussed a variety of different options for me to consider. The service was prompt and thorough with Tris and Nick stepping me through the work and upcoming service requirements. I would gladly recommend The Pedal Inn.

I had an issue removing a component from my bike. I contacted no less than 5 shops in the Redlands and Bayside area to assist. All were friendly, but none could/would actually help and said I was on my own. Except for Nick at Pedal Inn. He called, discussed the problem and said bring it in, we will sort it for you even if we have to buy the tools needed. Nick sorted the issue in minutes.

Nick is amazing. So helpful from start to finish. Was very quick in responding to my facebook message and really knew his stuff. We were desperate and needed a specific bike rack for the weekend and he had it in stock and was super helpful in explaining how to fit it. Love this family run business with great quality products stocked.

Nick repaired a basic old recycled bike for a fair price, which has allowed us to enjoy a bike on a daily basis....without his skill and confidence he could remove the old bottom bracket...we would be out of pocket on a replacement - great bloke and great ethics. Highly recommend his service.

Brought in a new spin bike for a fitting and when we discovered the pedal threads didn't fit, Nick custom built some new adapters for me. These guys really know their stuff and were a pleasure to deal with from start to end. Happy to support local over the other larger chain stores as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed attending Nick and Mel’s Women’s Bike Maintenance class last month. Nick covered the basics, A (Air), B (Brakes), C (Chain) making it easy to understand and fun. The cheese and dip platter with drinks was a nice touch. Overall, the class was great value!

We have just moved to Australia and bought two bikes over with us so wanted them checked over and serviced to make sure they weren’t damaged in transit. The team at Pedal Inn are great, they are friendly, extremely helpful and very well priced. Highly recommended.

The Pedal Inn is a great place to sort your bike out. Nick was pleasant to deal with and came across as genuine. There are a good amount of accessories to purchase and plenty of space to swing your bike around . . . highly recommend a visit!

Great service by a man who knows bikes. We aren’t big cycling people but needed to give the family wheels a quick tune up. Nick was friendly, well priced, easy to access cute little shop and makes a mean coffee on the side.

I had my road bike serviced by Nick and found him to be knowledgeable, efficient and reasonably priced. No request is a hassle and he went the extra mile to fix my bike. Recommend the garage to anyone. Great coffee as well.
