Came across Percy's Place incidentally and were very pleasantly surprised. A peaceful setting overlooks a large grassy paddock with sheep and cows by the river. There are powered sites near the amenities with freestanding fire pits or bush camping down by the water's edge. Woke up this morning to a nice sunrise and watched the sunset while cooking dinner the other night in our camper. The staff are friendly and the owners have been doing some recent landscaping making it green and lovely. It has boom gates for added security, a new well equipped kitchen block with toys for the littlies and even a high chair. Kids got to feed the cows some old bread from reception which also has good coffee and some grocery supplies. A quiet place if you're looking to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city or if you want to visit Sydney and don't mind a bit of a commute like us.

Modern amenities with the shower block + laundry undergoing a major renovation (mid May 2018) that has added a disabled access toilet, shower etc... Van sites for non regulars are not very flat, takes a bit to level the van & priority seems to be given to regulars & travelling groups + those who tow a ski boat, a bit pricey, $35 a night for a powered van site for a couple. Can be very windy & dusty at times with the non sealed roads but quiet at night. No river views from the short term van sites, outlook is over the 130 acres of river flats, paddocks & surrounds. Good security, key card entry via an entry & exit boom gate. The owners live here & keep tabs on everything + easy to reach if you need be. Close to Pitt Town & Windsor, gets very busy during peak times like anywhere.... nice place all up...

This is a hidden gem! Peaceful and quiet, beautiful nature as wel. Friendly staff and they're modernising the bathrooms at the moment! They've given us plenty of tips for Syney and other places. We've spoken to Rachel and her daughter, they are the kind of people you want to meet on your holiday! When you have a boat or jetski, the campground has a boatramp! Long days on the water, sunbathing on the gras or terras, it's all there. The average age is during the off season a bit higher, but all friendly helpful people. When they ever want to sell this place, I'm their buyer. My heart is in Pitt Town!

Great camping place next to the hawksbury River, campsites is huge and can fit a few families on the one spot. Very close to the main town only few minutes drive. Only downside is there is only one amnesty block for the whole place and you need to drive back every time you need to use it, there is portaloos though but is always dirty and get like a sauna in the day. It is dog friendly but the dog have to be on a lead all day and can't roam free that is a bit stupid.

What a fantastic caravan park, can't wait to spend another 10 days relaxing with great views of the river. The owners are very friendly, the grounds are clean and tidy and the price of a powered site "very happy with it" we will be going back again and again. Thank you for making our first visit a very happy one. Shaun and Helen

We arrived late in the afternoon, were welcomed by very friendly staff and got a powered campsite. Looks all very new and neat. Amenities are clean and in close distance to the campsites. No issues finding the campsite with google maps. We’d definitely come back again.

We had our high school camp here and if was weeping. Rachel and Amanda went all out to help us. The facilities, especially the new outdoor kitchen , are clean and we'll serviced. Great grows and the beach area was perfect for our camp activities. Recommend for groups ,families and all,

Loved the atmosphere. Great disabled shower/toilet room...tho the shower tap has the hot/cold reversed. Camp kitchen +++, bit picky on where you can have a firepit in the powered site areas...assuming they're trying to preserve the grass. Wonderful views down to the river.

Great place could not complain about anything staff are lovely beautiful outlook from power sites there is plenty of none powered sites ( tree line) of Hawksbury River property. Have camp kitchens & very clean amenities available & also not far to Windsor & surrounds.

  • Garry Carter

Great camping (heaps of room for larger vans), non-powered site, (generators allowed), water available, great neighbours, kind and accommodating park owners, ammenities always clean & you can have fires.✅ (great place for boat owners or just relax by the fire.

Beautiful caravan park southwest to Sydney surrounded by a river. The owner is very friendly. Aminities are currently under renovation, but still neat. You also get a chance to drive through a posh neighborhood, more important you get a nice sunset. More

Great spot on the river for camping. If you have a boat the ramp is not so great as it drops off very quickly which means you need 2 or 3 people to get your boat in. It cost us $250 for 2 adults 4 children for 4 nights on a site with no power or water.

  • Jeff Lindsay

Large sites, some on the waterfront. Expensive in my opinion especially considering I waited 45 mins on the river for my turn to get onto the single ramp to get out of the water. One boat ramp with so many boat and jet ski owners was well under par.

  • Dave Brimmer

Great location for short or long stays. Refurbished, modern facilities with riverside views, beach and boat ramp access. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mornings are glorious here, take time to stroll along the river and the large site.

  • Tollis Family

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Owners and staff are magnificent and really accommodating towards families. The kids loved the river and had fun hand-feeding the cows! Beautiful veggie gardens, camp kitchen and clean facilities. Nice to notice

A lot of space and nicely sized lots to rent over a weekend. Great to take the boats and jet skis out in Australia Day!! Also have multiple new/very well maintained portaloos and built in toilets at the entrance. Also very lovely reception.

  • Natasha Rose

What an amazing young lady at front counter so warm helpful and friendly. The place itself beautiful and growing..it seems like this place has had a great deal of love and hard work put into it to make it such a lovely stay.

First day there ,but won't be our last awesome people awesome place one of our greatest days on our boat .kids had best time plenty of room even on a busy day .thank you guys so much it was amazing

  • Nick Griffin

Great location with many great memories but you better know someone who rents a site and the toilet facilities are in need of refreshing. Also no drinking water unless you buy bottles or BYO.

  • Andrew “Chief” Thomas

Quiet, peaceful, clean, and tidy park. Contact less book in system that worked extremely well, very easy in fact. Close to Pitt Town and Windsor NSW. Easy access to city by train.

  • Jade Hammond

  • Dean Kotis

Great place to stay,we were on the river no power or water, but we had a great fire for the 2 nights we stayed. The ski boats were a bit noisy but it was still a great weekend.

  • Diann Bastow

Percys is a great 'go to' place when you want to catch up with your camper friends or just want to get away for the weekend and do nothing

  • Richard Ponsonby

Delightful park with friendly owners. Water, sullage and electricity are at the front of the sites making van position a bit of a fiddle.

  • Terry Stevens

Very quiet rural scene First class amenities, clean and modern. A peaceful environment with patrons to match. An enjoyable 2 week stay

  • Stevio Bee

Loved this place, first time there and was friendly family fun, river not too hectic and no all night parties - we will be back!

Great camping ground. Good shower block, but it's a far way away from camping spots. I'd come back again.
