Rude staff refused to sale me a rabbit because I had my kids with me and left me waiting for twenty minutes making out she was going to sale me one. I walked out the shop and on the way out I said don't bother I don't want to buy anything anyway since you've made me wait so long even though I was the only person in the shop at the time and she proceeded to say. "I weren't gonna sale you one anyway because of your kids as they were being to loud etc" I found it disrespectful they are 2 and 4 and we're just excited to see bunnies as they love animals and apparently there excitement ment they don't deserve animals .I didn't even get an apology for the way she spoke oh and she did it in front of the whole store. I did walk back in and ask to speak to the manager and he admitted she was wrong and said he would have a word but he refused to do it with me there so no apology not even from the manger. Not to mention the manager was stood behind her when she spoke to me the way she did yet he did nothing about it. not worth the aggro so will not be going here again, also they are way overpriced. HENGROVE IMPERIAL PARK the staff was called lelah and had lilac coloured hair..

Normally i am against the fish trade so don't normally purchase fish from a 'store'. But Thought I would give it a go and I soon realised why I never did before! I went for 4 pearl gourami. The women that helped us with the purchase didn't ask us any questions about our aquarium, other than how many litres we had. When the fish had been placed into the bag she actually dropped the bag before closing it with the fish in it!. Laughed it off and said 'I almost lost all the water then' she didn't replace the water lost from the bag so the fish had even less water in the tiny bag. Once the bag was knotted shut she threw a fairly heavy roll of plastic bags on the side.. the same side my fish were on! Which of course caused a shock to the fish and made them jump! On closer inspection at home I can now see one of my fish have fin rot. I will never again be going to that store. I hate that Ia having to leave this bad review as I normally don't say anything if I have nothing nice to say. But this was shocking.

Woefully bad customer service, I don't know how the staff there make it to work each day let along keep the animals alive. Absolutely terrible knowledge of the animals they sell, contradictory advice given (also signage was incorrect advising the wrong pets can be paired, so good luck to anyone who bought them based on pah advise). Staff uninterested and a quite rude, I went in to buy a hamster with my 9 year old daughter who's hamster had recently passed away and was told that I would need to purchase the largest cage they had (literally the size of a parrot cage!) to keep one russian hamster. I made a point that the cage we have was advised as a purchase by their own staff 18 months before! Ended up going to brislington store and was sorted within 5 minutes!

So many dead and rotting fish and snails in the majority of tropical and cold water tanks, with fish for sale. I pointed it out, and was insulted, when told, they are checked regularly. Which as a fish owner and keeper, is a visible bare face lie. Clearly cause for concern with contamination of customers valuable fish tank set ups. It’s not the first time I have witnessed this here. This time I took photos and will be contacting animal welfare. It was that shocking, the amount of decaying fish and snail carcasses there were. Someone needs to take responsibility for this. Especially when lecturing customers on the care when purchasing a fish. Well how about setting an example Pets at home?

I have had bad experiences with vets in the past. It always felt like vets didnt really care about my dogs health and only thing that mattered to them was to charge me as much as possible. This time was very different. My dog - Roxy - was diagnosed with pyometra (infection in the uterus) and without urgent surgery she wouldnt make it. She was admitted without appointment and doctor was ready to perform a surgery straight away. I have to admit, it wasnt cheap but they really cared about her wellbeing during and post surgery. Thank you for saving Roxys life. Highly recommended!

Popped in just to take a look around and find a harness for my dog. Wasn't sure what option was best for me, but a really kind employee called Reece was more than happy to help me! He accompanies me to the harness section and told me about each one I selected. Personally served me at the till and showed great interest in my dogs wellbeing, and really felt like he cared about doing the best for me and my dogs! Can't be more appreciative of his service, Reece really is an asset to the store!

Pets at home is always very clean and tidy the staff are always willing to help answer any questions you may have. I do worry about the cold water and tropical fish as I see a lot of dead fish on my visits here hope they can sort this issue out. The have a vet on site although this vets are quite expensive. Will do a visit here again in the next few weeks to see if there fish section had been sorted out properly. For now I rate the premises 3 star out of 5.

The particular item was not on the shelves even though the website gave us the opportunity to purchase it on click & collect st that location. If available with that option, why was it not in stock? The item was for a problem with his ears, if we had known it was not in stock, we would have been able to travel to a different store. This means our dog will have to go another night without receiving the treatment that may have relieved his symptoms

I think this is an excellent pet store, all the animals looked very healthy and well looked after, plus the staff all seem to be genuine animal lovers and enjoyed their job. I got excellent advice and left the place with all the information I needed, to decide what animal would be best suited to our household. I also like the fact that there is a vet in store and there is an 'aftercare' kind of service for any pet that you buy from the store!

Not at all happy. All the boxes of live food were dead. The only box left had only 5 hoppers left in there. The manager refused to reduce the price of the box as apparently only on Monday can it be reduced. How you can charge for a full box when only 5 were alive is disgusting. Maybe if you looked after and fed and watered your live food they would last longer. Not impressed one bit. Very poor customer service and attitude

Ordered an rabbit cage with next day delivery, at least this is what I've been told. But next day delivery was 4 days later, they made come 3 times in the store luckily Russ the manager of the store took some attitude and solved the problem. I will recommend this please only because of the professional manner that Russ was dealing with the problem. 5 stars for Russ and 1 for the company itself!

When you pay £57 to have your dog done and fair play he is handsome but I asked for Tommie (dog) to make sure you cut his claw was not cut and it's not far from digging into his pwa pad when asked was they done and the answer was yes then I expected for them to be done and not a lie and said they were done I must be going simple as they was the same as when I tock him to the groom room

Not much choice in the store , everything is overpriced and not sure why...You might say it's a specialised store and expect staff to actually know their stuff ,but no..Staff don't actually know anything about the products they sell or if one brand is better than other,they just tell you to google . So I did and bought it all from Amazon, same items and waaay cheaper .

Noticed my other review was removed? so I'll repost it. This place offered to put my dog down or take £3000 in a lump sum for an operation before even diagnosing the problem with my dog. No payment plan possible apparently. Took my dog to PDSA and they operated immediately, saved my dog and charged £600 With a payment plan!

A pet store that NEVER has any frozen reptile food, even though they are supposed to. Staff are useless, as each time I ask I'm told a different day that they get their deliveries. How come the Brislington store always has stock but you don't?? If you have a pet snake, don't bother going to the Imperial store.

Large pet supply store located on a retail staff. The store stocks a wide range of pet products from food to toys (all you could need really) and have knowledgeable staff on hand to help. They also sell small animals such has rabbits and can offer health and treatment advice for your pets.

I found the manager in there to be extremely unprofessional. I believe her name is Mia. The rest of the staff were pretty good though. It left a really bad impression on me. She was uncouth and completely useless at her job. Her demeanor is unbecoming of a young lady, let alone a manager

If I could leave no star I would, pick and choose whether they will accept cash even though it's illegal to refuse. Trying to say "card only till" when asked so now have to drive 30 minutes to buy frozen animal food. Always issues with this store it's like they love drama

Excellent store. The staff are always friendly and really helpful with any questions you have. The store is always tidy and there are animals on sale. Dogs are allowed inside and there is a grooming room with friendly and tentative groomers. Good offers with the VIP card.

Staff not really interested. I made a big donation of pet food and they just couldn't be bothered to show me where to do it even - and the donation bin hadn't been emptied and items just spilling over the floor. Whole place more or less empty and I could understand why.

A good collection of pet products. Also live animals. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Our dog was more than welcome. He was given treats and a water bowl for a drink was out the front of the store. Plenty of parking and plenty of other shops on the complex.

Went in to buy Shrimp. Chard, the lady who served us was amazing. I get very excited buying fish and shrimp and Chard was just as excited as me. It really was an awesome experience, she really made the visit. Cannot wait to go back for my second tank.

Most staff seem deflated and don't want to be there. Assistance is ok but only certain staff will assist in certain areas so can slow things down. You can find a lot there though clothing ranges for larger dogs is pretty much non existant

Lovely and very helpful staff in the vets! Our vet, kate was incredibly kind, answered all our questions and even went out of her way to check up on our cat throughtout. Great experience and a happy cat!
