I visited the salon on Saturday, November 18th at 5pm for a Shampoo And Finish Long with Mushin, requesting styled beach waves. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and offered a drink before being escorted to my seat. A complimentary neck massage was offered, but I declined. I proceeded to have my hair washed by a trainee, which was done quite quickly. Afterwards, Mushin asked the trainee to assist him in blast-drying my hair as he said I was in a rush, although I had not explicitly stated so. At that point, I expressed my concern to Mushin, stating, "You won't rush the styling, will you?" to which he assured me that he wouldn't. However, I was taken aback when my hair was not blow-dried with a brush but a blast dry, as is customary for me at other salons, including yours. I inquired about this, to which Mushin replied, "If I blow-dry your hair, your curls will drop." I remained confused and reiterated, "Normally, I have my hair washed, blowout, and then styled with GHD straighteners, and it lasts." Mushin reiterated his stance, saying, "If I blow-dry it, I'm stretching your hair and the curls won't last." While I understand that every hairdresser may have their own approach to styling hair, I wanted to express that I was disappointed that my preferences were not taken into consideration. After sitting in the chair for about 15 minutes, I started feeling quite uncomfortable with both Mushin and the chair itself. It was then that I realized my entire back was wet. I brought this to Mushin's attention, and he appeared shocked to see that my back was wet. He immediately began blow-drying my t-shirt and apologized, saying, "This has never happened before." At this point, I felt disheartened and just wanted to leave. I asked him to stop blow-drying my top since it had already seeped through to my bra. Mushin then asked if I wanted him to brush out my curls, which surprised me because typically brushing out curls is necessary to achieve the beachy curl look. I was personally unimpressed with his lack of knowledge in this area. As I walked over to the reception to pay and leave, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the lady at the till (happened to be the owner) and explained the entire experience to her. However, I found her response to be very patronizing, with no apology offered, just repetitive statements of "oh right, oh right." This left me feeling extremely unhappy, upset, and angry about how I was treated. I sent an email to the salon and received a response stating that they will provide a credit on my account and that if I decide to return, there will be no hard feelings. However, I must express my dissatisfaction as I felt uncomfortable throughout my entire visit and left feeling upset. I have attached pictures that demonstrate the lack of life in my hair and the excessive wetness of my top. Therefore, I cannot consider returning to the salon and subjecting myself to that negative experience again.

Had my hair appointment today.. not too sure if the hairdresser was new or she just couldn’t be bothered.. but I spent £68 for nothing! She gave me a 2min “back massage” which was absolute pointless .. a 5yr old probably would put a bit more effort and would do it for longer She convinced me to have a £17 deep treatment for my hair.. it took 5mins! That’s the fastest deep treatment I have ever had! Surely she should have kept it for longer! I showed her a haircut I wanted and I def didn’t get that.. I had to tidy up my hair when I came back home as some parts were longer and sticking out! Honestly I am quite baffled how someone would charge £68 for 2mins back “massage”.. “5mins £17 deep treatment” and 10mins lasting cut, nothing similar to what has been asked.. absolutely shocking!

I visited the Salon las week with my mum and sister-in-law for a belated birthday gift - we had a back massage and wash & blow dry. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pure Hair & Spa and will definitely return. The massage was very relaxing and the therapists were very professional and friendly, the foot massage before hand was a lovely extra. :) Both my mum and sister-in-law said it was one of the best massages they have had. We all then had a wash and blow dry which was lovely - all the staff were very friendly and efficient - we enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine too :)

I myself am disgusted with the behaviour of this salon. This is meant to be a high quality salon. 1. My sister has an interview, they invited her for an interview. 2. Asked her to work a full day (with pay) haven’t paid her yet and this was the end of June. 3. Asked her to do two hair cuts and 1 colour. My son and I got here on two different days to be her models. 4. No feedback but told she would get a call the following week (last week of June) 5. Heard nothing so called twice and no call back. I personally think this is disgusting and very rude.

I was so pleased with my visit today. Hair cuts have always been a very stressful time for me since I’m so particular about what I like. But I went in for a restyle and James was SO helpful. I asked what he suggested I have done which would suit me and I wanted to go shorter. He made his suggestion and we went with it. The results I love! He made me feel really comfortable and took me through the process was a lovely experience

In a word WOW ! I went to this salon today and its the best salon I've ever been to. I had to take my 11 month old daughter with me as I couldn't get her looked after and all the staff made us feel so welcome and interacted with her too. The complimentary massage before I had my hair cut was amazing, the actual haircut itself was the best cut I've ever had. I felt so confident when I left. Il definitely be returning. Thanx mushin.

From the moment i walked in to the moment i left was amazing. The whole experience was fantastic!! Max was my stylist, the most thorough consultation ive ever had. I loved the introduction of a massage with the oils at the beginning, max listened and advice me on my hair. The little touches down to the coffee and mini mince pies. Can not wait for my next appointment xxx

Everything about this salon is outstanding! I absolutely love the interior design; it is clean and relaxing and very welcoming. My stylist Gaynor, was wonderful, she listened to everything I had to say and she did an amazing job! The best haircut and hair colour I have ever had. Always excellent service here. Love the range of Aveda products they have on offer. Hair stylists give great sharp cuts and are all very knowledgeable with the products! I'm forever leaving with the best voluminous blow dry and a bundle of freebies!

I visited them for the first time for a hair cut and left with one side longer than the other. I returned for it to be corrected, saw someone different, then left with the other side longer this time. I won't return to get it corrected again.

Helen is amazing at spray tanning!!!! by far the best i have ever had. she always does it to the exact color i want and takes her time making sure your happy! would defiantly recommend Helen my five stars go straight to her!!! :)
