Avoid this branch as much as you can. Unless you want unsolicited judgemental parenting advice along with your banking needs. Attended this branch today & absolute horrible customer service. The teller an older lady judged me for bringing my baby in with me who she couldn’t even see as my baby was covered with blankets & fast asleep. It was a colder day out today but I had to deposit money I couldn’t deposit on the phone or online or even drive through as it was foreign cash. Either way the teller proceeded to tell me I shouldn’t have came in and I told her my baby was fine I as a parent made sure she didn’t even feel the cold and that she was fine and she just judged me saying “not that little” tho she couldn’t even see how big my baby is. I then proceeded with completing the transaction with her and she told me to stay warm & I told her she could do the job without judgment next time as moms get enough judgement from everybody. She brushed it off and ignored me. I called and complained through the Rbc phone line who basically told me to avoid going into the location or find a different branch as the lady I referred to being rude to me could have been the branch manager. So basically told to avoid the location do online banking or drive out to another bank. So instead of fixing the customer service they want to drive people away. Pretty logical.

I’ve always used this location for any of my banking needs and after my experience today I won’t be ever returning again. The teller who I dealt with today was very rude and not pleasant to deal with what so ever. She was an older lady, I couldn’t see her name anywhere. Cut me off before I could even finish explaining what I needed help with and told me she couldn’t help me. Kept saying to me what was going on with my card made zero sense and made me feel as if what was happening wasn’t actually. She was just straight up unfriendly, rude and is not someone who should be dealing with the public. My husband and I will never use this branch again thanks to her.

Came to get a new debit card was told it would be mailed. Used it once to withdraw money for rent. Then it was cancelled because I was told I lost the temporary card and the replacement card i had not yet recieved had also been lost. I dont understand how someone can tell me I lost something I still have. And I dont understand how someone else can cancel my debit cards and request new ones without me knowing about it? This is beyond ridiculous. It's nice that they aren't too concerned though. It would be stressful to have to help someone access their own money. No worries. I'll just go ask people for cash and explain how I lost cards i never had. Good job.

Had to call out Felicia Bong out by name because she started raising her voice at me for absolutely no reason. Terrible service. Once I first opened my account I had to return 3 times to ask why my card wouldn’t work in store. They finally figured it out when they called someone of higher position and wasted my time going back and forth. Then they tell me I don’t qualify for a specific offer after they’ve told me multiple times that I’ve met all requirements for it and wasted my time for the past 3 months as I transitioned from my previous bank to this one (and having to return multiple times to figure out why my debit card wasn’t working). Go elsewhere.

I lost my phone, my debit card, and my drivers license ID unfortunately, so I came in to try and obtain a replacement for my debit card. I explained my situation to the teller and she told me I could not replace my card without a form of ID. She was very rude and condescending from the get go. I was expecting her to at least ask some security questions in order to confirm my identity, but instead she brushed me off and kept insisting that I report my card lost, even though I had told her I don’t have a phone. She was not understanding at all. I went to a different branch and they helped me out within minutes. I don’t recommend this branch at all.

This branch has terrible customer service. I was here last week to withdraw money and the teller refused to allow me to withdraw a large amount of money. She then rudely told me to leave and go to my main branch where they can help me. I ended up going to a different branch (wasn't even my main branch) without having any issues whatsoever. This is actually the second time I've had issues with this branch. I tried to contact the branch manager and left a voice mail for her but no response. If I could give this place a 0 stars, I 100% would. If you're looking for an RBC branch in the north side, AVOID THIS BRANCH. I do not recommend this branch!

Wow, I’m the process of switching my accounts to RBC and could not believe how horrible this location’s customer service was. I created an account online and went into the branch to verify. After getting an email on which documents to bring in, the advisor I saw told me the email was wrong and there was nothing I could do to finish opening the account. She told me that I would have to come back in. Then the advisor restricted my account for some unknown reason. I made another appointment with another RBC branch (same day) that was happy to help me and did so no problem. Could not be more unimpressed with this location.

Apparently it isn't a teller's job to count money at this location. Had a death in the family and brought in all the loose change from their house. 90% of it in rolls. Got told they wouldn't be accepting the unrolled change even though there was not a great deal of it, and some coin types didn't have enough for a roll. They also refused to take the $0.40 in US pennies. How can a bank straight up refuse to take currency that's worth more than ours? Guess what? I threw it in the trash on the way out. Thanks for nothing, unhelpful and uncompassionate RBC staff!

The manager there is the absolute worst. I went to this branch to get a new debit card because I had misplaced mine. She asked me a series of questions about my recent transactions, to which I did not have answers because the last couple transactions were done by my younger sister, who is in high school. She then said that she couldn't issue me a debit card because I couldn't answer her questions and because I let my SISTER use my debit card. I even gave her two IDs and my card's pin lol. This manager should have never became one.

Worst branch I’ve been 2, they locked my account for no reason and I had to come in 7 times. NO EXAGGERATION! 7 times. Everytime I came they said they needed something else from me and couldn’t tell me all at once. After all that work my account went back to being locked a day after. Useless staff. Unhelpful manager who doesn’t look after her own branch and Felicia is prob the biggest wasteman planet earth has seen. Do not make this ur main branch unless u want banking to be hell for the rest of your life

This is by far my favourite RBC branch! I drive further just to go to this one because all of the tellers and staff have been more than helpful to me! Reading some of the negative comments people have just baffles me. It’s a bank, they have rules they have to follow and it takes time to do certain things for certain customers… EVERY bank is like this. So thank you everyone who works there for always doing a great job anytime I’ve been there.

RBC is the worst, their mortgage options are poor. They say things like we let you pay up to 10% against you principle mortgage amount once per calendar year. When they should say they are legally required to do that because of the Canadian Government. Every other bank in Canada will let you do either a higher percent and not just restrict it to one payment a year but let you do multiple payments until you reach your max percent.

I'm pretty new to the world of credit cards as a 20 year old and I went in looking to get my pin changed as I'm going out of town for a few days. This is also my first RBC account after using BMO. The teller was condescending from the beginning and cut me off after every word I said. I felt very disrespected and I will not be visiting this branch again.

Poorly trained staff, terrible management and lack organization. There's a reason why this bank is always empty and will likely close soon while neighboring banks in same parking lot are overflowing with customers. Regret the years "building report and relationships" at this location. Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache trust me.

Such a terrible service. Deposited a cheque from my TD account to RBC. Money already got deducted from my TD account and I can see the money in my RBC account but they said I can’t use this money for at least 4 business days because of their policy and got charged $29 over limit fee because they hold my money.

Waited 40 minutes to deposit a cheque... I should not have waited. 1 of the 3 tellers walked away while a line was formed and another one had computer problems which took 10 mins to resolve... staffing is a real issue here apparently....

got RBC Avion card for points. Cannot access points even though points show up on card sign in. Phoned RBC and avion - waste of time, back and forth, no resolution and still cannot access points for upcoming trip.

I went for a Wire transfer and it still had 30 minutes to close she said its too late!! If you don’t love your job dont do it or leave it for better people!! Never heard something like that before!
