"Although usually a hot destination for tourists, living here affords me the opportunity to catch moments like this when one of the most beautiful and scenic locations in Nashville, is basically all mine! Riverfront Park is home to a very large portion of CMT Fan Fest every summer, as well as many of our great city's major events"
"I had a beautiful experience at the riverfront park! Enjoy several picture spots"
"Went for the first time to the riverfront viewing of Nashville's 4th of July fireworks"
"The park area is great, the concert I attended not so great"
A Trap!!! No public place to park … a park place open under a bridge full of homeless people …. But the price is “only” $30 for…. 2hours….!!! A lot of tourists parking and complaining that it’s a kid if extortion and you have no option. I was there with my wife a 2 grand kids and started walk-in at the park for 5 minutes and we have to go back with other scared tourists because the place is full of groups of homeless people vomiting, crying, changing clothes…. You fell like in a nightmare. Kids and wife asking, let’s go back! We tried to walk in the broadway to see the music place but each corner more homeless people more dirt and trash…. After ½ hour we go back to our car to escape hell…. Never more.
Although usually a hot destination for tourists, living here affords me the opportunity to catch moments like this when one of the most beautiful and scenic locations in Nashville, is basically all mine! Riverfront Park is home to a very large portion of CMT Fan Fest every summer, as well as many of our great city's major events. In the past it was home to our NYE celebration, and served as home to the 2019 NFL Draft. Be sure to check out our annual 4th Of July celebration here when one of the nation's largest fireworks display is accompanied by the Nashville Symphony along with some of the biggest names in country music!
I had a beautiful experience at the riverfront park! Enjoy several picture spots. Wear comfortable shoes, take your time to explore the native American village display, snap beautiful photos of the bridge, the Nissan stadium and historical brick buildings. If you have children, take everything you need to keep them comfortable and think about safety, watchout for homeless people who are smoking stinky stuff and begging. The parking is free on Sundays and holidays. Perfect for family outing and outdoor photoshoot. Remember to like and rate my reviews.
Went for the first time to the riverfront viewing of Nashville's 4th of July fireworks. AWESOME SHOW!! The only negative aspect of our time there was exiting after fireworks. The exit from the riverfront was blocked at 2nd St and even security personnel were unable to advise on where to exit the riverfront to get back to train. A lot of confusion with hundreds, if not thousands of people trying to leave and not knowing how/where to go. Having said that, I'll still go again next year and hope they've developed a better plan for exiting.
The park area is great, the concert I attended not so great. Seems like John Smith Marketing was trying to get as much money off ticket sales as possible. It was overcrowded, on a hill, so it was hard to get up and down from your seat if you needed to get anything. Of course pricing is a little more for food and drinks for convenience which was expected but this annual event has gone down every year for the last 2 out of 3 years I attended. Riverfront Old School BBQ Fest.
Great Place to Run, enjoy the views, interact with the homeless; appreciate the abundance we have and what we can give while passing them. I just feel bad that it interrupts the homeless living experience. So I try and tip-toe and be respectful of their space; its the only living quarters they have. Joggers like Devin, ruin that experience for them.
Not really a park. More like a sidewalk with some trees... You can see the river at some spots but most others are covered over with weeds and bush. Fishing isn't an option due to the fact that the river isn't accessible. You can't get anywhere close to the river while here. I've heard there are events that take place here though.
Great spot to sit, chill, relax and take in Nashville. Cool view of the river, especially in the evening. Sometimes live music is audible from any one of many nearby venues. Always good people watching. Bring a blanket to sit on and get lost just watching the activity on the river below you or the nightlife behind you.
It was awesome to see the mixture of downtown Nashville both old and new. The old architecture of the Davidson County Court House as well these old staircase are awesome. You can see the river and on the other side is the Tennessee Titans football stadium. It is definitely a nice riverside walk with some great views.
My wife and I loved Nashville it full of life and excitement with live music in just about every establishment. This is really a must see and experience destination We ate at B.B. Kings and really had a great time First rate entertainment This is definitely a city we would like to revisit when we have more time
It's cool for new Nashvillians to experience both downtown and the riverfront that runs through it. But nowadays it's Just too many homeless ppl laying abt kind of depressing to see them in that light laying , but if you can find some way
It's right in the downtown area. The river is used as a stage for CMA music fest. The arts. It's just an all together nice place to sit and watch the barges go up and down the Cumberland river and meet and greet. …
We took an evening walk along the river, and wound up on the steps at this park. The diversity of people and faces blended quietly with the not so distant sounds of the ever present music from the riverfront venues.
Went for the fireworks on the forth of July. Great firework show. Unfortunately Nashville was more sketchy than I had thought. Homelessness is a real big issue, people sleeping seemingly everywhere during the day!
A wonderful park in downtown Nashville. It's often closed for events, but when it's not it's wonderful to people watch or just hang out in. Now that the new parks have been added downtown it's not as heavily used.
Great place for the fourth of July and would not go anywhere else but they could put in some public bathrooms in and it's always funny watching people fall down the grassy hill overall love the country atmosphere
I had a blast when I visited Riverfront Park with some friends last October. It was absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed taking a walk through the park and getting to see all the beautiful scenery!
Came to this park looking for a place to walk the dogs during the day. There was trash everywhere and even smoldering bonfires on the sidewalk. I felt unsafe even in the middle of the day.
It really isn't so much if a park, but rather just a lot of grass overlooking the river. Some good views of the Titans stadium there. Good place to maybe meditate or do yoga or thai chi.
It has changed over the years but is fun walkable area with many photo opportunities. This has been a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy the boats coming up and down the river.
Very beautiful place was very shocked to see all the trash all along the river bank and then the strong smell of urine which Im sure is from all the homeless that are in that area.
This is where the Chevy Riverfront Stage is located during CMA Fest. Great place to watch some free music! It fills up pretty quickly, so get here at least 15 or 20 minutes early.
One of the neatest urban area parks-complete with a splash pad and rock wall. The old steel bridge is a walking bridge and there are great trails all around to get there by bike.
The park features a great view of Nissan Stadium. I would start on the south end by Broadway and only walk 2 blocks north. Any further north the homeless ruin the experience.
What's with all the police only parking lots? It's an ok park but nothing special other than being on the river. You can't see the river very well through the trees.
Riverfront park overlooking the Cumberland river and the Nissan stadium where the Tennessee Titans play also part of the downtown skyline can be seen. …
There was road construction going on right at the park entrance. A lot of walkways were blocked off. Looks like a nice park maybe we can explore more next visit.
Saw it at night. The lights were very pretty. Be careful though. I almost walked in to a dangerous situation at the log cabin. Homeless tweaker camp at night.
I see many people running, taking photos, and having a conversation with friends and family. A beautiful place to visit. The Cumberland River flows by it.
This park had human feces everywhere. I thought it would make a pleasant evening stroll with the wife but turned out to be a $#it show. Very disappointed.
Parking and finding the entrance was difficult since all the construction was going on. I would love to come back when the construction is complete.
Nice park relatively small to park in the area is just awful it is kinda neat to see the stadium and riverfront but I think their are better places
I LOVE THE RIVERFRONT PARK. I GO IN THE DAY TIME TO JOG OR WALK THERES LOTS OF PEOPLE AROUND, I FEEL SAFE... I RECOMMEND …
My husband works across from River front, Nashville has one of the best views. And always has free or cheap activities for the whole family.
Well when husband nad i was homeless nice place to aleep.until we run off by metro. Train depot security is a ass . No batherrom after 6pm.
Very nice park. Felt safe. Bring change for the meters. Walk down to the old train station to pick up a ticket for a bus ride. It was fun.
I love going here and seeing the water. It's a nice place to go and get your mind off of thing's. It's just a relaxing feeling
Wonderful riverside park with great hiking trails, a nice dog park, a great views of the river and the football stadium
Too much walking, lol I mean I walk at .y job like 7 miles a day, so if you enjoy walking, this IS the place for you
very pretty, nice to get away from the crowded parts of downtown. great photo op with Nissan as a background.

Nice view of Nissan stadium and a good place to go running if you don't mind the large homeless population
Lovely park with a beautiful view of the river. Within walking distance of food, drink, and shopping
I just really enjoy the view and nature. A nice walk in the park or rent the scooters. I love it.
There is a lot to do downtown. Excellent source of restaurants and bars. Lots of free concerts.
We just watched the 4th of July fireworks and they were awesome. It lasted a solid half hour.
Nice place to have a quick look around Nashville from, but a little tricky to get a car park.
Seemed to have turned into more of a homeless camp. Super cute area for a quick walk though!
This is a great tourist spot for Nashville, Tennessee. I love going down by the riverfront.
Amazing park with amzing history and photographic opportunities. Also great pokemon Go area
Nashville's clean up and renewal for downtown. Nice place to get away from Broadway Street
Watched Red Bull Flugtag! It was a great venue to watch the action. Very crowded but safe!
Visited for the fourth of July event. Enjoyed the atmosphere and proximity to the city.
Visited Nashville over the Fourth of July and it was a grand celebration …
It was beautiful and I enjoyed myself just walking around and looking at the city
Great park on the river with plenty of grassy areas and water fountains for dogs!
Beautiful place to take a walk and see some historic sites along the riverfront.
They've updated this so nicely! Walking trails, dog park and amazing city views.
Went for a concert had a good time. Bring a jacket the air near river is cold.
Fun place to visit. CMA music fest was great! Nice views, and lots of scenery.
Had a great time and good food. Just wanted the homeless to quit bothering us.
This is a most see a staple point in Nashville you have to take pictures here
Best snack of Nashville. July4 best fireworks venue. Party on lower Broadway
I've seen a few live shows that were hosted here. Has always been enjoyable.
Scenic views, and someone posted an eloquent note to T Swift she should read
Great to go hang out and relax. Great view of the Tennessee Titans stadium
Absolutely lovely spot to spend a romantic, or a booze-filled, evening!
Great place to Stay! Good prices, safe and you can uber anywhere cheap
Great park; good reminder of some of the US' more difficult history.
Love concerts here. Need shelter though during summer and weather
Excellent place with a great view . Good for walk or relaxing.
If you like sightseeing the homeless this is the place to go.
The best place to view fireworks. It does get really crowded.
Nice walk, but some spots can be a little keep your guard up.
Great place to being outside to see anything from the river.
Great around to shop and eat enjoy walking the river way
Didn't seem like much of a park? But the river was cool
Very nice view of river. Take a stroll after dinner.
Great vistas of the city and the Nissan stadium.
Very nice except for the poor homeless people
Always a pleasurable walk downtown. …
Very fun town. Night life is very loud.
Check out the restored log cabin fort
Hot scene during CMA Fest, and free!
Several homeless,not very big park.
Beautiful place in a beautiful city
