I did place an order the day before which is the only excuse they could have which is why I’m starting with this statement before my heated review. I placed an order for a flower arrangement the day before. There was no time specified at that time for arrival which was ok for me because I did not foresee the flowers arriving almost an hour after they closed their store. I was ok with any time during the day. Note I said ‘day.’ I called the store at about noon on the day the flowers were supposed to arrive because I wanted to see when they’d arrive and they said they would arrive between 5-5:30 pm. I immediately thought that was a little late but I didn’t mind considering I did order the flowers the night before. When the flowers hadn’t arrived by 5:45 I was worried considering the person receiving the flowers was supposed to be out of the house by then and had to stay to wait for the flowers to arrive (birthday surprise ruined btw) because they told me on the phone they do not leave flowers on the porch or in front of the door. The flowers did come at about 5:50. At 5:45 I tried calling someone (because the flowers were still not there) but they close at 5! No one picked up! I can’t get a hold of the delivery man or the florists to reassure me of anything. I wasn’t even that mad about 20 minutes, but when I saw a picture of the flowers that the person receiving them got, I was really mad. I paid for the ‘best’ option of a arrangement, and it looked NOTHING like the photo. Don’t take their photos online as an accurate representation of what you’ll receive because THAT wasn’t it. The vase was so sparsely filled, the flowers did not seem fresh, and I was shocked. It looked POOR. Period. Bad timing; bad flowers. If you can’t do an arrangement based on the flowers in season, update your site. No excuses. **Update: I called in to voice my concerns, and customer service was VERY accommodating. They immediately asked how to fix the problem, and I cannot in good conscience leave a bad review for a store that wants to fix what they did wrong. I don't know the circumstances that led to the delivery being late and the flower arrangement being below average, so I did adjust the review from 1 to 3 stars. Great customer service (although I'm still not sold on the flowers).

I've ordered flowers from here for many yearsr, but last May I thought I'd try another florist BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER !!!. Two Mother's Day, two birthday and a get well arrangements were delivered late, and the flowers looked as though they came from the garbage bin. Heart broken and angered I had to get my bank to return my money for me. I called Norm at Russell Flowers and explained what I did. OMG he was so understanding. It was just about closing time on Mother's day but the naxt day he managed to get all my arrangements delivered and they were just beautiful. All the staff there are super, I consider Russell's a FIRST CLASS FLORIST. Products are perfect and the prices are very good as well. A word to the wise, don't let discount advertising lure you, as they say " you only get what you pay for " and possibly sometimes less.

I truly love this store! Kerri served me today such a nice lady! Norm has served me also super friendly to me!! They have my info saved and it's one click. They may not remember my face but Norm did remember my mom. Norm had said oh your mom she is at the corner of.....I said yup! Today we chatted (Kerri and I) I realized I misplaced my visa Kerri said no problem we will keep this here and call it in. (I went back bcuz I told them I kept my poinsettia alive from last Christmas lol so had to go back and show the pic) all the ladies were super friendly! P.s my mom got her arrangement and she just loves it!!! I added tea and cookies and she was pleased

It was very difficult for me to find an excellent flower shop in Hamilton. I read the reviews for Russell's flower shop and i received great customer service from the time i placed the call to the delivery of the flowers (quality). The person on the phone took their time to help me decide on the thank you flowers to the people i was sending to. They 2 people i sent it to both loved the flowers, especially how fresh it was. I definitely will use them again and make them my go to flower shop.

I ordered flowers over the phone to be delivered to my friend's house in Hamilton. I wanted a specific note to be included as well as a price range to keep in mind. When I first called, the lady who I spoke to was absolutely delightful, she was so kind, accommodating and helpful. The flowers were in perfect condition, delivered on time and included the note. My friend couldn't have been happier and I'm so impressed! Thanks so much!! If I lived in Hamilton this would be my go to place.

I have been fortunate enough to be at the receiving end of the most amazing floral arrangements by Russell's Flower Shop. I have these sent from my parent who lives in BC. My sister, who also lives in BC used another florist and there was NO comparison. Russell's have beautiful fresh flowers, put together with thought and consideration. The flowers last a long time and maintain their colour and freshness. I could not suggest a better florist. THANK YOU

Being a long haul truck driver it's not always easy to stop by and pick some flowers up. So when I want to surprise my fiancé with her favorite mix of red roses and sunflowers I call Russell's Flower Shop. They had the most beautiful assortment of flowers to choose from and their service is incredible. I'm always satisfied and I won't ever call any other flowerist. Thank you again.

This is a long over due review. This business was helpful and accommodating. Not all flower shops are created equal. As 8 have recently discovered. This shop is exceptional and reliable. Do not hesitate to utilize this business for your flower giving needs. Nothing says I'm thinking of you like a beautiful bouquet of flowers that arrive nicely prepared and on time.

Best customer service ever!!! I called two days before Mother’s Day during a global pandemic and was treated warmly and respectfully. Lovely staff!! The arrangement I ordered was well worth the value!!! I ordered a planter basket/box for $62 and it was huge!! Beautiful assortment of flowers and carefully arranged. I will DEFINITELY be ordering from Russell’s again.

I asked the florist to pull together a mixed bouquet of orange flowers for a gift. The gentleman who served me was very patient and showed me the selection he had available. He then proceeded to prepare a beautiful bouquet. It was absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for a wonderful experience, I would most definitely recommend this florist and will be going back.

Everyone here is very nice. Used them for two occasions, one for an arrangement for a funeral and once for a corsage for my prom. Both times they blew me away with how beautiful the arrangements are. They were very quick too which is nice if you need them in a hurry. Definitely recommend if you want to impress someone with a wonderful banquet of flowers.

We ordered flower arrangement for a friend who passed away. Norman took my order over the phone. He was very understanding and patient with me. He answered all my questions and offered suggestions.
