I simply explained I wouldn’t be able to pick it up until Saturday, as you close at 3pm and my husband has the car every day for work. That’s when you offered to redeliver it, which I appreciate. I made my initial review after you had closed, as I wasn’t expecting to receive it AFTER you closed for the day. 3.5 hours later, I did receive it, as I stated and added one more star to my review. No need to discuss this any further, I wanted to clarify that I did NOT say YOU were rude. It was your male delivery driver when he tried to deliver on Feb 15. Thank you for your time. Edit: updating my review to 2 stars. I did end up receiving my rose tonight. I didn’t expect to get it 3.5 hours after they closed, but such as it is. Telling my dad to just get my husband to get it for him from now on. Delivery is always ridiculously expensive, even in the same city. And I didn’t even get it when I was supposed to. Thanks for *finally* delivering my rose. Very disappointed in this shop. Every year since I was born, my dad buys me a rose for Valentine’s Day, but the last 2 years he hasn’t because of lockdowns and whatnot. This year, he moved to Cobourg 3 hours away, so he ordered from Westdale Florist, and my rose never arrived. He paid more for delivery than he did for the actual rose. $21 to be exact. Yesterday, the very rude delivery driver called me to say he was here, but I couldn’t get to the phone in time as I’m caring for my 1 year old that has a terrible cold. When he called back, I was able to answer and he was extremely rude, saying I have to go pick it up from the store. I live on the mountain and have no way of picking it up, as they are only open until 3pm and my husband takes the car for work every day. I called the store, and a very nice woman helped me. She said they would redeliver it tomorrow (which is today). I never received it. I waited all day for a phone call, or for them to buzz me from the lobby, and they never did. So thank you, Westdale Florist, for charging my father $30+ for one rose that never even made it to me. I wish I could give zero stars.

Westdale florists are an amazing florist to use for your wedding, with service that is hard to beat. When we were searching for florists for our wedding even a year before the date, so many florists were already booked and we were worried about whether we could find a florist for our summer 2022 wedding. Living near Westdale and having passed by the shop countless times, one day I stopped by the shop and met Rosanna who is an absolute joy to work with. She was so sweet, maybe noticing I was a bit stressed from the wedding planning process, and was able to fit me in for the wedding florals. When I came back a few weeks later to pay the deposit and it happened to be my birthday when I was running errands, she didn't let me leave the shop without a lovely little complimentary bouquet also which was really sweet. Really, the whole time Rosanna went above and beyond even before the wedding, including some great little cost-saving tips. On the wedding day, they were on time/early and the florals were fresh and gorgeous with roses and blue thistle in the bouquet, better than I could have envisioned them. Overall, I highly recommend Westdale Florists - they were an absolute joy to work with and I plan to use them in future for other floral arrangements/bouquets.

I hired Rosanna to take care of the flowers for my wedding this past October based on another wedding I had been to. Within 5 minutes of speaking with her, I knew she was the person for the job. Her energy, positivity and “get er’ done” mentality was welcomed and immediately made me feel so comfortable. Due to COVID, we had to postpone our wedding three times which also meant pushing dates with her. Again, she adapted quickly and it was “no problem”. She went above and beyond with the preparations, set up and take down and made the process so smooth and easy for us. There was never any point in this whole process where I was stressed or concerned with the job that Rosanna and her team were going to do. The flowers were beautiful, especially the head table. I would highly recommend Westdale Florist for all your flower and wedding needs.

Rosanna was amazing to work with, responsive, and very friendly. She did all our florals and also acted as our decorator for the day which was something we weren’t sure we’d be able to find outside of a day of coordinator/decorator. Rosanna delivered my bouquet and all my bridesmaids bouquets to where we were getting ready in the morning and had everything absolutely perfect at the venue by the time we got there. My bouquet was the bouquet of my dreams and everything was exactly as I’d pictured it. I had a rough go with you guys. Firstly I ordered the flowers for Valentine's Day, now I understand Valentine's Day is busy and I probably missed the date at checkout but the order ended up being delivered for the 16th . Realizing this when my wife didn't receive them in Valentine's Day I called in and asked for the gift to be delivered to my home instead as a delivery 2 days after Valentine's Day seems like an oops I forgot kinda moment. Lo and behold the flowers and chocolate arrived at my wife's work and not to my house as I had explicitly requested. The product I heard was beautiful but it being at my wife's office instead of at my home I can only go by word of mouth. TLDR - 2 stars, product was beautiful arrived on wrong day at wrong location.

I ordered my sister-in law's 30th birthday flowers from here -- When the flowers were delivered there was a mix-up with the order, and the first thing the next morning the business contacted me. Rosanne was so nice, apologetic, and offered to send out another bouquet the same day! She even offered free flowers for my next order for the confusion. It's been such a long time since I've seen such amazing customer service! Knowing how much they cared to make things right gives them should give them 20/10 stars. Back in May of 2020, my sister and I ordered flowers from Westdale Florists for our Mom's birthday. When our Mom called to thank us, I could hear in her voice that she was "blown away" by the flowers! An artist from the Shalom Villages saw the arrangement and was so taken with the beauty of the lilies that it inspired her to paint the lily. I recall speaking to a lady by the name of Roseanne, from Westdale Florist's. Well, how do you like that! She was named after a flower! And she was sweet and lovely as can be!!! We ordered Christmas flowers for Mom this year! And I can tell all who read this that they will be very happy with their floral purchase....reasonable prices and wonderful service! From 2 sisters on Florida!

The order arrived at the prefect time, looking beautiful. I ordered the succulent stone garden, and the substitutions were lovely - I liked it even more than the photo on the site! The delivery was free for the local area, and the pricing very reasonable. The wrapping was cute and the message card nicely but privately displayed. The staff were friendly and professional, helping me when I had to make a last-minute change to delivery instructions and even waiting outside to make sure my friend received her beautiful gift. This past summer Rosanna and her team did all the flower arrangements for my wedding. I had nothing but an amazing experience with Westdale Florist. Rosanna did an incredible job with capturing exactly how I wanted the floral arrangements to look like. My absolute favourite piece of work was the arch that my husband and I had made for our ceremony. The bouquets and centrepieces were absolutely stunning and went with the theme of the wedding. Rosanna was nothing short of amazing, she was so sweet, caring and kind and I will always remember what a wonderful experience I had with her. I would recommend Rosanna/Westdale Florist to anyone who is in need of the most beautiful flowers.

I ordered here for mothers day. I accidently ordered pickup and when i called them the allowed me to switch it to delivery no problem. The flowers were very beautiful. The reason for the 3 stars is that they didnt give any of those flower food packages which every other flower store i have ever been to gives out. In addition i ordered a $60 arrangement and was kinda ripped off. The vase was supposed to come with rocks and curly willow in the vase as well as the flowers and they did not include those. This is advertised in both the description and the picture. You can see in the pics all the gave was the flowers so thats lame

Great, friendly service! Very nice combination of flowers and great taste! Money well-spent! I basically walked in there today like a “typical guy”, lost, with only an idea of the purpose of my flowers and nothing else. A lovely lady put together a beautiful arrangement in a vase and I was done in less than 15 minutes. The flowers were for a professional reason and I feel that higher level was certainly achieved. Thank you! Oh! I didn’t have change for the parking meter outside, so they also paid for that before starting work on my flowers. Sure, it was 50 cents, but the gesture... Why can’t everything be so amazing?!?

I ordered flowers here for my friend who recently lost her mother. I ordered them the night before I wanted them delivered, and did they deliver! I was happy that I was able to place an order for delivery in less than 24 hours. I think the delivery was included if it was within Hamilton. The only thing that I did not like, which warranted 4 stars, was that I had to pay an initial fee for using their service. Apparently, you don't have to pay this fee if you order flowers using the same email address the next time. I have yet to order flowers again, but I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been informed that delivery has been made . However I am very disappointed with the size and amount of flowers in this arrangement versus what I chose online. This is the second time you failed with my orders. So sorry to see these kinds of business practices..!!!! The rest of my other 6 orders were also barely meeting expectations. I had decided to keep you as my florist after I work with you for my mother-in-law’s funeral flowers which was done properly. But unfortunately since then ( Jan 2022) you failed repeatedly. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

Westdale florist went above and beyond for us during a sensitive time (our grandma’s passing). There was a change in the date of the funeral (pushed to an earlier date) and they were flexible enough to accommodate the earlier date change. They also delivered the flowers directly to the funeral home although our original arrangement was to have us pick it up (we were rushing to come into Hamilton from out of town). Communication was timely and friendly. And of course, the flowers were absolutely beautiful, everyone appreciated it I am sure. I would highly recommend!!!

Great experience! I ordered an orchid, balloon and card to be delivered much less than 24 hours in advance, but it was perfect. The orchid was gorgeous and the card was beautiful I'm told. I selected a card to be printed with a personal message and it was very professional and well-made. Some places that's an afterthought and a generic gift tag can be a real downer - not here! My delivery was swift and easy with no issues. Even the balloon arrived in terrific condition! You made me look like a real hero. Thank you!

Beautiful, fresh flowers in stylish arrangements. I've purchased flowers for delivery twice from westdale, both times I've been very happy with the product. I chose "florist daily deal" both times, where the florist chooses the arrangement. Both times they were beautiful. I've bought a lot of flowers over the years, and this is a high quality product. Tough to do in Canadian winters. The delivery also followed my instructions, which I appreciated. Top notch, will use again.

Being in Miami will be missing my mother's birthday by just over a week. With only 24 hours notice, the Westdale Florists' designer put together the most beautiful arrangements for our 10th Anniversary Renewal of Vows at Christ's Church Cathedral. I still have people asking where these most striking arrangements had come from, including our corsage and boutonniere. Very prompt delivery and good quality of flowers. The arrangement was exactly as the one I chose and shown on the website. My daughter in law sent me a picture when they arrived and they looked absolutely gorgeous! She loved them! Unfortunately, the balloon was, somehow, lost ,and didn't come with the flower. The refund for the cost of it, was very prompt . I would recommend this florist for all your needs.

I called to place a Mother's Day order. When I asked if they were still taking Mother's Day delivery orders, the associate on the phone just plain hung up on me. No answer to my question. Just rudely hung up on me. If not, all they had to say was we are no longer taking orders for Mother's Day. Just that simple. I recommend not to patronize this business. My future business will go elsewhere.

Working with Rosanna and Westdale Florist was an easy process from beginning to end! Her communication was great the whole process and even during Covid we were never worried about anything. This is the worst experience I had with any florist. Ordered something from the picture on their website, upgraded to premium. Delivered something like a poorly arranged bunch of flowers with very poorly done birthday card ( which of course was extra money!!) Leaves were covered with mud. Tried to contact the shop immediately, no response till now.

This was a very disappointing bouquet. For 100 dollars, this bouquet was approximately as big as my palm. Despite being well put together, I would not recommend purchasing here - particularly with how vague descriptions were online regarding the size.

We sent flowers to our sons daycare provider for her birthday/ECE appreciation day. There was a glitch in the system and her order was missed but Westdale Florist went above and beyond to make it right. Will definitely be using them again.

Deceiving pictures compared to actual arrangement. Paid $100 for deluxe bouquet - got 4 roses and 1 lily. Arrangement was the size of my palm. It was embarrassing to have that sort of flowers deliver. Never again. Do not recommend.
