While at this location depositing cash into my account through the atm machines (as it was 4:30 / after closing) there was a quadriplegic man who was not able to remove his card in time from the machine, in which eventually the atm did not return his card to him at all. Given the fact that it was only 4:30, there were still very many staff members in the building - all of which who were simply standing around, making small talk & essentially doing nothing. Another man who was using the atm machines knocked on the window to get an employees attention & explained the situation to a woman who had approached, who more or less expressed that it was not their problem / there was nothing that they could do, as it was after hours. I was absolutely appalled by this & could not believe the blatant lack of sympathy for this mans situation! What a complete disregard for customers in general, let alone those with disabilities. Do better Scotiabank!

Terrible customer service! I found in many branches they could not understand notes on the account.. one lady by the name of Pierrtte at westmont branch was upset with me for disturbing her lunch as she was the supervisor on and through my cheque back at me..Zero integrity! I went back into the branch and was asked by another person managing at my branch to get her name! Cindy was hesitant and then gave me her card after I discussed that its not right of her to hold information. Pierrette declined to see me and im sitting here in the branch waiting to speak to another manager about this behavior.. Im a business woman lipand we in business rely on our customers.. without them we have nothing.. weather your wealthy or just getting by, intercity to all the same. Scotia bank needs retrain their staff!

Just moderate banking experience. No offence but the Asian lady representative which I don’t know her name kind of lack the awareness of abnormal situation, a girl I know told me her experience of being threatened for money, and I was shocked about the manager never actually shown at that time, and every communication she had with the bank staff was at a distance parted by tables that is designed not for crossing, and plastic boards. I understand reasons for distancing, but I prefer the set up in RBC because they allow bank staff to walk around and get closer with customers, especially for many abnormal situation like the fraud which is totally able to prevent. I would give a 4 or 5 star before I knew about this.

I seem to always have a great experience with this location. The manager is a sweetheart, seems to help coach the tellers to become better and better at what they do. The tellers are very friendly, helpful and resourceful. I especially had a wonderful experience with one of the tellers, was greeted with a very friendly smile and was very impressed with her level of customer service and wisdom in banking! I was shocked to realize she was a teller! would make a great Financial Advisor some day!I hope she gets prompted!!!! Love this branch cant go wrong here

This is the worst branch in all of Scotiabank. They put a hold on everything even after they tell you they have fixed the problem. Then they don’t open until 9:30 and they close at 4. When you call customer service and THEY call, they always say the branch manager is “in a meeting,” and then they never respond to the e-mail that customer support sends them. Then they are amazingly rude when you do get into the branch. They don’t care, my rent’s late and they act like it’s a privilege to have a ScotiaBank account.

Usually a pain free experience but I already pay almost $20 a month in baking fees, all I wanted was a simple 3 month print out of my cheqing account, and they were going to charge a fee. 5 dollars per statement! They are greedy. It was cheaper just go to the library and printout statements myself, cost me less than $1. My dad got a 3 month printout with his bank TD across the road FOR FREE. DO BETTER SCOTIABANK. Only cause your customers inconvinience with your greed.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. My wallet was stolen/lost so I went in to be issued a new card and suspend my old one. The representative spent 20 minutes on a personal phone call which I sat through only to be told they wouldn’t be issuing a new card OR suspending the account temporarily. I’ve loved banking with Scotia over the years but this is enough for me to throw the towel in. I will be closing my account. That’s Scotiabank Westmount!

I can't even describe how many horrible experiences I have with this bank. If you have an appointment with them, they won't show up, just because. They will take your money, but they will never admit that they're did. Even if you have receipts that you pay for your mortgage , that took months to prove it. They stressed me and my husband . And we still can't resolve the mortgage problem that they are cause it . Shame on them. Don't use this bank if you can.

I used to have a business account here and found that the small business advisors were very helpful. The front counter staff is a whole different story. Arrogant, unhelpful and obviously not concerned with keeping business. Taking my business to another bank (not branch- but bank). Suggest training staff so that they understand Canadian culture--provide good service or I take my business across the road to your competitor.

Initially came in to close my account as I've always had frustrations with Scotiabank, but a super helpful lady named Shannon helped me with everything I needed! She was very kind, funny, thorough, and overall made my visit to the bank a breeze, and managed to do what other Scotiabank workers wouldn't do for me. Super thankful to Miss Shannon and the other helpful employees who greeted me on my way out!

Hi i had appointment with paul financial advisor. I wonder who gave him job he have zero experience and knowledge about his job. I had appointment about loan firstly he didnt know how many types loan banks give he ended up referring me to other branch. I asked him to open savings account but he just changed it to other type of chequing. Totally wastage of time.

I dealt with Cameron at this branch and was offered a great deal on an investment account. Cameron is highly professional, handling important financial transactions with a great deal of respect, accuracy, best business practices and total customer care at all times. I am surprised this bank branch does not have a much higher rating on Google maps.

I cant even describe how bad the business service at Scotia is. Everyone warned me and said never deal with them when it comes to business, after messing up the account set up so many times we deposited our first cheque with them for 50k and they put hold for 500k by mistake for 5 business days blocking all the money we have in the account.

10+ years. every visit or appointment there is pain and harassment on common sense i have a feeling they just wont hire normal tailors with experience as a rule. always new staff asking dumb question. they wanted to put my money on hold when i was depositing from my business to my personal. same story with government checks

Went there for opening an account and the ladies sitting there was so relaxed that they didn't even want to assist anyone. It was Easter Weekend but seriously if you are open then DO YOUR JOB - Went to Terra Losa Scotia Bank and they helped me in no seconds. Will never be back at this place.

This branch always go absolutely above and beyond to accomodate and meet my needs! The ladies there are all so kind and respectful. I do not live near this branch however I enjoy the services they provide and the treatment I receive so much, that it is worth the drive!

Made an appointment to open an itrade account. First time the rep I was scheduled with wasn’t qualified to open that kind of account. Rebooked weeks later, came in and my rep had called in sick that day and my appointment was cancelled, no one bothered to tell me.
