My wife and I were here last Saturday Jan 18 2020, we both got ourselves a cafe latte and a blue berry and lemon scone. The latte was quite good, my wife drank hers without any sugar, while i needed to added just a bit. The scones were warm and tasted quite good, They were also light and flaky and were not to sweet. The lady who was in the store talked to us about her dogs, told us about how the store has live music on Tuesday, something my wife and I want to attend. SHe told us how her coffee is fair trade coffee and is ground in Hamilton by another Hamilton establishment down the mountain. Something that made me happy to hear. The atmosphere was quite cozy, it is not a huge space, but the store utilizes its space well to make sure it is not cramped. I would recommended that everyone try this store at least once and judge for themselves.

I stop her for the open mike / coffee house performances on Tuesday nights. Good music / good company / and good coffee or tea. My daughter likes the hot choclate. Stop by on a Tuesday night to listen to some live music or bring you instrument and play a few tunes. It is a small place. At a busy time, it would be a bit crowded for a person who uses a power wheel chair to get manouver. A person who uses a scooter would be better off leaving the scooter outside. There is free parking in the small lot.

This coffee and breakfast place is an absolute gem! As soon as I stepped in, I was enveloped by the cozy and rustic warm ambience, setting the perfect tone for a delightful morning. I ordered a cappuccino and a cinnamon doughnut, and both were simply fantastic. Host was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home.

If you love awesome original music, whine, coffee, people with great energy, baked goods, desserts, an up North camping feel and an incredible musical host, then look no further. This place, the owner, the hosts, the musicians and everything about this Jam is excellent. You really need to check it out!✨️

We take my Daughter periodically to Hamilton Orthodontics for her braces. Today they suggested to visit Lukaya Cafe. I decided why not. I needed another coffee and a bathroom break. What a wonderful place! Extremely friendly and accommodating. I believe I was served by the owner. We will come back from now on when we go to the orthodontist. Great experience!!

  • R McCoy

This is a good coffee place, with its own sitting area and good service. The barista made a cappuccino for my wife and an Americano for me and they both tasted great. I didn't ask but I'm guessing it's organic coffee from the taste. I recommend checking this place out and I'll be going back again.

The donkey sanctuary in Guelph is the only donkey sanctuary in Canada. The donkeys are not only lively and healthy, they are well maintained and treated respectfully. You can learn about their upkeep and stay and at the same time understand how you can help (if you want). Admission is via voluntary donation but most people give at least $10.

Lukaya is a small, quiet, warm and welcoming cafe'. A great assortment of teas and delicious baked goods. Most importantly Julie, the owner, is all heart & kindness. That in itself is invaluable. We met today for the first time, and spoke as friends, over tea and a biscuit. So happy to have found this jewel. Thanks Julie.

  • Rosemary Buckley

Mother's Day High Tea. It was wonderful! Julie is a great hostess as was her young daughter Lukaya. The food was delicious ... lots of sandwiches, scones and sweets accompanied by your choice of tea. The heirloom China.. tea pots and tablecloths made it so special. We all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for a great afternoon.

  • Zack Ria

Quiet, small, and cozy place to have a nice tea or coffee. Came here 2 times to order teas and both tasted awesome. It's very homey, and comfy. Great place to go after a long day or just to wind down in general. Owner is incredibly nice. I can't even think of something bad to say. This is definitely worth stopping by!

  • Shivana Yoga

This quaint little cafe is a gem in Hamilton. Julie has a beautiful cafe, serves delicious coffee and has the nicest little outdoor oasis to enjoy your beverage. Inside the cafe is comfortable and welcoming. The atmosphere is great, service fantastic and the drink and sweets selections are plentiful.

  • christine jf

Very good selection of teas! I've tried roobois and walnut crunch in my first visit. I wish they could serve it in a teapot to make the most of the loose leaves. Friendly owner/staff Limited seats inside but very cozy. Has paid parking just beside the cafe. Highly recommend!

  • sarah laufman

Very inviting setting. Music is in the background at a nice level. N0 blaring tv’s either. The baked good are delicious, and the coffee has a nice depth of flavor . Great selection of teas, too many to count. I like to support independent home grown business.
