Slade road launderette provides a wonderful service to the Slade road local community. There are other launderettes situated around the Borough of Erdington, almost equidistant from my residence but I prefer to go to Slade road launderette. I made my choice after going to other launderettes and realised how under par their services were compared to Slade road launderette. They have just recently upgraded their machines to brand new ones with much better performance (both washers and dryers). This, in my opinion, shows that the management puts customer satisfaction before profits. You have the choice to select self-service wash or service wash. I usually select the former if I wanna sit around and have a chat and laugh with the staff; that's who they are - very friendly and approachable. If I'm in a rush, I opt for a service wash and quite frankly, the difference financially is unnoticeable; it's quite affordable. Another good thing about the management is maintaining their prices despite installing brand new machines. Prices range from: Washing - £4.50 - £8 from small to large loads, Spinning is £0.50 per load ( which you don't have to do if you used the recent machines for washing) and Drying is £1 for 10 minutes. (I stand corrected) They accept card and cash payments. Also, you never have to worry about having coins to do your self-service wash, just make your payment and the friendly staff will operate the machines for you because they are operator-controlled machines. I highly recommend Slade road launderette to anyone living around the Erdington area or even beyond.

Been using this place for years and always been excellent. Drop a large kit bag in each week for a service wash and never had any problems. Washing always clean, dry and folded nicely. Open long hours so can drop in and collect at any time. If you need it done quickly they'll sort you out. Naz and his son always friendly. Sometimes calls me "boss" which is a nice touch even though technically i'm not their boss but just a customer.

Fantastic place, always attentive to their customers and great customer services. Can trust them with your dedicates and they even have great knowledge of the surrounding area to help you get around. I even got an old jacket repaired from them and bought it back to life. Brilliant bunch of chaps. keep up the good work!

I had mucky stains from my dog on my camel coloured wool coat and the dry cleaners did an excellent job of getting the stains removed.Only criticism would be of the slightly steep price and that a button came off after the dry clean.

I go here weekly and drop my washing off to get washed and dried, they are very friendly and brilliant service I highly recommended to anyone who needs to do some washing, go here best place and good prices very cheap

Really impressed by the quality of the driers, how cheap and quickly they dried my washing. Shop is sparkling clean and smells lovely, staff were around to help. Brilliant will definitely use them again.

I moved to Brum in 1982, and have been using this launderette for 40 years! Great service wash, towels and linen always neatly folded. Must be 5 stars, or I wouldn't keep coming back

Great place. Forgot some items 2 weeks ago and when I came for todays wash they had them for me. Honest guys and a great memory too. Used them for 3 years, highly recommend.

Slade Road Launderette give a very good service for the money, I had used them for years before I got my own washing machine.

Petty. Wanted to charge additional fee for leaving clothes in dryer one minute longer past finish time. Quite rude.
