Went in to get tire fixed for a flat and yes they took care of me quickly but the next day the tire was flat. I filled it with air again and next day flat. This is third different time ive taken it in to get a flat fixed and 3rd time I've had a flat the next day. Not sure why but I can't keep paying the 17$. Nice people, n very close but........just frustrated n confused. In response to the owners reply. WOW! Nice response and timely. Funny I gave you a 3 and others gave a 1 n totally different reply from you. 1.I never spoke to anyone at anytime about a rim now has anyone ever fixed my rim. 2.If it was the rim it seems to be working fine after going to a different shop. 3.Amazing, that after a month my review was posted you think you know who I am or your employees do. They must have a super human memory considering I was there no more than a few minutes n didn't even enter the store. (A month later you seem really concerned to get back to a customer in a timely manner) 4.Seems to be a common problem there after looking at other comments about flats being fixed there. I can now see the great customer service that your store offers after your response n leadership. Im now glad I found another bike shop in the grove that is cheaper, customer friendly, n reliable. Thank you.

A massive thank you to the guys at suncycling for coming to my rescue. I was supporting an event and someone brought a blow-up palm tree for the "festive finale". Unfortunately, there was not enough lung power in the world to inflate it. I did a quick search and found SunCycling near the hotel and rushed over on foot. I - along with my sad, limp palm tree - was warmly welcomed into the store. And when I made my ridiculous plea for inflation help, I was immediately assisted, no questions asked. I am not a frequent customer; it was my first time in the store, and despite the fact that I wasn't making a purchase, the guys did not hesitate to assist me. They even took their time look for the best nozzle attachment - they could have easily used that as an excuse, but no they looked around the behind the counter area to find something that would work. I'm not sure they realize how grateful I was - and still am - for their kindness. So even though this review isn't about a bike sale or repair, if they would help out a complete stranger with something that would bring no money to their business, then I can only imagine how stellar they are when it comes to assisting actual customers. Shop is a huge rip off. Went to buy some parts. They charged me literally 2.5x retail price because they said they only sell parts if they also do the labor. Basically, they charged me for labor they did not do. Not cool. ---> Updating review to respond to owner. 1. That's exactly what I was told. 2. We don't have to do it on here, but if you want to get in touch with me privately, I will share with you what I bought and what I was charged and you can see for yourself. 3. This is not spam. It is an accurate description of my experience at your shop. If you contact me and show me that I am wrong, I will delete the post. Others should know your policies before arriving at your shop and can make decisions for themselves.

Very nice people, flawless equipment. I asked for a lock: they lent it to me for free. My advice: ask for a helmet (which I rented), a lock and front & rear lights (which my bike didn't have and I didn't ask for). As soon as it gets dark, streets are poorly lit, many portions aren't lit at all so it's dangerous to ride the bicycle. I was based out of Coconut Grove, went to Little Havana, Design District, Coral Gables, Brickell, South Beach, Key Biscayne, Virginia Key... 100 miles in 3.5 days. I was so happy to have a bike that worked so well! I used a hybrid bike, the kind with sort of a female shape to stand straight and avoid the pain I get in my neck with mountain bikes. I definitely recommend SunCycling!

Rafael was really helpful in getting me to find the right bike for me once I told him what I would use it for. He was also really knowledgeable in cycling and gave me a lot of tips on proper riding techniques and how to spot issues with the bike that would require maintenance. Also, I really appreciate that the price was perfect for me and no one tried to push a bike on me that I wasn't ready for. All around great people. I also recommend their bike rentals - $20/full day - that beats the usual rental with other bike places in the area. I had been a client of Sun Cycling Coconut Grove for quite a while now. They never disappoint in always providing great customer service with best selection of bikes, accessories and competitive prices in town. I'm on my 3rd bicycle purchased @ Wilier Cento10Air and I will keep coming back. Usually turn around tune-up and service of your ride is within 24 to 48 hours max depending how busy they are at the shop and that's a big plus for me. Javier (La Foca) is one of the best mechanics that I had ever met always going the extra mile to please a client. Congrats to the Sun Cycling team and keep the great work.

Horrible service!!!! The service provider offered us to rent a road bike for $75 per day. After waiting for 40 min he came back and asked us to return the bike that we haven’t even offered to try. When I told him that we never got the bike he said that he changed his mind and not willing to offer us the expensive rental as they are expensive and we might damage it. During the 40 min wait his service provider who was working to fix the chain of one of our rentals went for his lunch break without any notice while we kept waiting for him to fix the chain. Terrible service!!!!

I rented a women’s carbon road bike for a triathlon. It was a great bike and a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were also generous, offering me extra time to get the bike back after the race. They put on the Shimano pedals and adjusted the bike to the proper seat height for me. I definitely highly recommend SunCycling. I'll add on a year later (Feb 2023) that my husband and I visited again and rented 2 carbon bikes for our whole trip. The staff was still great and so were the bikes. Still highly recommend SunCycling Coconut Grove.

This shop along with it's sister location in downtown has been fixing my bike for years now and always provide great service except for today. A store clerk by the name of Olivia had answered the phone in a very terse and rude manner and and ended up hanging up the phone on when when I asked for better assistance. For a customer that spends hard earned money with this local business I was in disbelief the kind of service I just received. Olivia should not be allowed to deal with any customers if that is the kind of customer service she finds acceptable.

Great local bike shop w friendly and helpful staff - who are also very knowledgeable about cycling. Impeccable customer service and just good all-around folks. Recently had another positive experience w the staff at Suncycling that exemplifies their commitment to customer service. Dropped my son’s bike off for a repair and tune-up. Was late to arrive and shop was closing, so I called and spoke to Joel who offered stay and wait for me after closing. This is not something common in Miami. Suncycling has a loyal customer in me. The most obnoxious and rude salesman . It’s a rip off. My wife tried to exchange a jersey for a smaller size . When she bought it she was not told that it’s a fondo relaxed fit. She was told in the most rude and dismissive fashion that there is a 30% restocking charge. When she bought it originally and spent $300 she was told no problem to exchange . She objected to 30% and was told to get out from the store. I hope this has been recorded. I shopped in this place for years and spent a small fortune. Never again

Just bought my first road bike and had a great experience with Renee and the rest of the team. I told Renee exactly what I was looking for and he showed me my options and made genuine recommendations on what would be the right set up. He wanted me to try a few different sized frames to make sure I had the perfect fit so he immediately got another size in to the store and texted me when it arrived. These guys take good care of their customers. 10/10 experience for me. Only bike shop in Miami I will go to.

Just went for a rental, and my Domane SLR was with a broken seattube (completely broken). What for a roadbike is completely dangerous. Then i come back to the store, and the guy (young one with black hair) said me and mt wfe to f@c& of the store because we are not allowed to adjust saddle height (so the broken seattube was a hidden issue…). When I called 911 the refund was made, and again bad words used against us. Ive just done 3 Ironmans 10 70.3 and cycle since 2009. All the best for the store.

A few months ago I needed a part for my bike after replacing a few components. Everyone in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful. They understood exactly what I needed, found the part immediately, and helped me to install it. They went above and beyond and even did a little check/tune up to make sure everything was safe. This week I needed a box to ship a bike. They were extremely courteous and gave me one of their boxes. Excellent service!

Great place to rent a bicycle. I rented an electric assist bike, and had a great experience. I rented an electric assist bike,and when I started riding noticed it didn't change gear quite right. I returned to the store where they gave me a brand new one that was not a rental! They were out and the rep gave me the new bike to make it right! Great company, they returned my calls and went out of their way to make sure I had the bike I needed.

A team friend recommended me taking my bike to Suncycling so I visited the one in Coconut Grove. From the moment I entered the store, Mr. Christian welcomed me with a big smile. They serviced my bike and recommended to change the chain so I did. I was able to drop the bike in the morning and pick it up before 6 pm and the bike looked like new. I will definitely keep bringing my bike to this store for future repairs. What a great service.

I rented a hybrid bike for a day and it is definitely something I recommend doing to explore the Grove or even bike across Key Biscayne. It took less than 5 minutes to rent the bike out online and the employees were even accommodating with helping look at my friend's personal bike while I was doing it in-store. As long as you return the bike, it is a pretty good deal and also the bike itself was a really nice too.

SunCycling Cycle and Fitness Shop was a great find in Miami, FL. I planned to rent a bike during my stay, but stumbled upon this bike shop quite by accident. The shop was located within a well traveled portion of Coconut Grove, which not only made the bike rental location tremendously attractive, but also convenient as well. The ease of renting/returning the bike was a completely smooth & seamless process.

Went it today to purchase a new road bike. Staff was very helpful and informative. I purchased a argon 18 road bike all carbon frame. The stealth style of the bike is amazing. I had an amazing experience here, the staff and owner are super nice and attentive. They had a lot of patience with me with the list of questions and concerns I had for them. I’ve had consistently positive experiences here from buying a Tern bicycle. They connected with the manufacturer to arrange a specific model to be dropped off for a test ride. They were very communicative, transparent, friendly, and professional. When my seat broke, they reached out to Tern to arrange a warranty replacement and swapped the seat out for me on the spot.

I rented a road bike for a Triathlon. I had a wonderful experience. The pick-up and drop-off process was simple. The shop gave me an AMAZING bike. It was very high quality. They were super friendly during pick up. Installed pedals, filled up the tires with air, and made me feel very comfortable with the bike. I will definitely be back.

Great customer service! We ordered bikes online (from someone else) that needed to be built. SunCycling was very fast in building our bikes and did it for a fair cost. Also, when we picked the bikes up, they adjusted them for us so they were ready to ride. Great place and great service! We will return for all of our bike needs!

Renting: Good equipment, decent pricing, OK service. As I returned the bike, I told the guy I had a problem with the crank set he "brushed it off" and didn't want to get into the details. Be aware they will charge you a pretty pennie for for anything extra, helmet, pedals, tools, water bottle... No issues. Will come back.

I can't say enough about how accommodating Christian and the team at SunCycling are in Coconut Grove. I rented a performance bike from them twice this year when traveling to FL. Great bikes. Fast service. Also, before when I would travel with my bike, they were always welcoming when I needed something simple. Great shop!

Got a couple of rental bikes for a long weekend. Super simple to reserve and pay online. Really great price. And to my surprise these were the best rental bikes we’ve ever gotten. Went in with a flat tubeless tire, needed a new tire install (brought my own) and stupidly didn't ask for the price. After ~5 minutes guy hands me the wheel and asks for 45$, said I got a discount because I also brought my own sealer. 50$ for a tire install!!!!! Complete rip-off!

So glad to have found this shop. We are road cyclists and prefer to look around town by cycle, not car. Rates were very reasonable and simple to reserve, pick up and drop off. We road our bikes over to Key Biscayne, down Commodore Trail and all the way down Old Cutler Road Trail.
