"Very bad Branch, I can't recommend anyone for it, I have bad experience with it, if you interested for reason read the below: I have appointment at 6pm, i reached to branch 5:55pm, I inform a one lady on the front desk about my appointment, she acknowledged that, and ask me to wait till the assigned person come, I wait around 30 min till 6:30pm no one come to me, several time I tried to show myself in front of front desk person to remind him/her that there is a human setting and wait, but no reaction, finally I approach front desk and asked "till what date I shall waiting, I have appointment and no one show up" , suddenly one lady she was there from 6pm setting behind desk she said "i will take him", later after 5 min , she came and said come with me i will take you, she didn't even present herself and she didn't said her mane, I am sure she is the assigned one from beginning to serve me, but she didn't even apologized about this delay"
Have been dealing with the fall out of an incompetent investment advisor. She was late for the appointment, didn't finish what I had asked and did not follow up to complete what I had asked, as we had agreed as they closed the bank before my requests or appointment was complete. The only way the appointment was complete was after I personally called her 3 days after she was supposed to follow up with me, which caused my paperwork we had completed to lapse and need to be filled out for a 2nd time. The whole process took 2 weeks to complete due to her lack of detail and actually completing my request. The whole experience still has not ended as it is a month+ later and I am missing documents to file my taxes, I have now had 4 trips to the bank in an attempt to get these files and still not any closer to a resolution at this point. I have dealt with investment advisors, bank tellers and customer service manager to this point, and today the manager of the branch was supposed to contact me and there is no surprise that there was no follow through and the manager did not contact me as promised. Among the horrible customer service thus far, not a single person has provided me with an answer on how to resolve my issue but I have heard more than a few "I'm not sure" and "I don't knows" from various levels of staff. I was promised yesterday after my 4th trip to the bank that we would have it resolved today... yet here I am writing this review with no answers or resolutions or acknowledgement of how absolutely horrible my service has been to this point. I have been a life long td customer and this past month of experiences has really opened the door for me to consider other options as over my life I've paid thousands of dollars for services and fees but never had a single issue with my accounts or complaints but the complete lack of this locations ability to resolve this issue has opened my eyes to how alarmingly awful customer issues are handled and resolved. I have opened a formal complaint with TD in regards to these concerns. Beware of this location if you are looking to use their investment management staff.
Walk into this bank. Try to deposit a cheque. - A process I have done this my entire life without issue. Teller: Thanks Mr. Gregg, do you do work with these people? Me: Yeah, I worked hard, and they ended up paying me for it. Teller: Ok, thanks. So. One of these cheques is from Calgary, did you do work in Calgary? Me: Yeah, again, I did the work, and they ended up paying me for it. Do you need me to tell you how cheques work? Isn’t this a bank? Teller: Ok, so one moment, I need to get a manager. Manager: So, did you do work for this company often? Me: Yeah, so I worked hard and they ended up paying me for it. Manager: ok, I can deposit this, but there needs to be a 5 day hold. Me: why? I have done this for years, I do work, and then I get paid, why is this so hard? Manager: Sorry, if you want you can try the deposit at another branch. As a sidenote, I also asked for some account history prints from my credit card. I waited an hour in branch for them to print, and they they told me it was still printing, and I would need to come back later. I waited 3 hours for the prints. No one called me. Went to 490 Riverbend Square TD. Done. No questions, 15 second transaction. 0 Stars for Windermere and Mullen road. Make the trip to Riverbend square. It’s worth it to avoid these clowns. Also, their printer works.
I have had the worst experience in this branch. I visited this branch for the first time to inquire regarding line of credit n the front staff told me the rate. I told her that I will think about it n will be back. After two days I visited the branch again the other teller told me I don't have that offer anymore n he asked me to call the investment line. I did talk to the representative over the phone n she told me branch already started my application. I was shocked to hear that as I never said yes to it. She told me to visit the branch n let them know. I visited the branch again today the same teller who said there is no line of credit showing the offer on my file suddenly said oh he can see the offer now and asked me to wait for 5 mins. After 5 mins the same lady teller comes up to start with my application. She told me different rate. By the time I was so frustrated and told her I don't want to apply for it. Its better if I visit another branch or call TD by phone rather than visiting this branch. My only suggestion is please improve ur customer service as I have been with TD for 20 years n TD is known for its best service.
This branch should be embarrassed, Investment transfers are a common normal transaction that they were able to turn into a mess of an ordeal. Signed the papers and was told 2 weeks funds will be in, 3 weeks later I call…no answer…I email…no response…call again…email again, two months go by no response, go in and it’s all apologies all around they are taking care of it blah blah blah. I had to go to another branch and ask that advisor what is going on, only to be told nothing, nothing is being done. You would think the Windermere advisor would call and apologize and maybe explain? Haha no actually the advisor called and accused me of spreading lies and complaining about them, don’t worry they harassed the helpful advisor at the other branch too but guess what they didn’t do? The damm transfer! Don’t bother telling the branch manager anything, he doesn’t know or care and DO NOT make an investment appointment here, I can not stress this enough. TLDR: The only time the advisor contacted me in two months was to accuse me of “telling lies” everyone’s Mutual Fund license should be revoked at Windermere, that place is brutal.
Very bad Branch, I can't recommend anyone for it, I have bad experience with it, if you interested for reason read the below: I have appointment at 6pm, i reached to branch 5:55pm, I inform a one lady on the front desk about my appointment, she acknowledged that, and ask me to wait till the assigned person come, I wait around 30 min till 6:30pm no one come to me, several time I tried to show myself in front of front desk person to remind him/her that there is a human setting and wait, but no reaction, finally I approach front desk and asked "till what date I shall waiting, I have appointment and no one show up" , suddenly one lady she was there from 6pm setting behind desk she said "i will take him", later after 5 min , she came and said come with me i will take you, she didn't even present herself and she didn't said her mane, I am sure she is the assigned one from beginning to serve me, but she didn't even apologized about this delay.
Made an appointment at a certain time and five minutes passed the meeting time but the advisor didn’t show up. Had to find another person to inform her that I was there and waiting. Another issue is that there’s only one advisor who can help purchase GIC due to licensing issues. When asking for an appointment this week, the earliest time for this advisor was in two weeks. I was shocked. I already knew Canadian banks are slow and you need to have more patience. But this branch is much slower and more incompetent than other branches or banks. Who would like to wait such a long time for a pretty easy service? Finally I was pushed to other branches which has more licensed advisors. So the function doesn’t work well in this branch. If your problem is lack of qualified employees, you should fix it immediately by hiring or reporting to your higher management.
If there is a 0 star rating this would have been my choice. I have banked at this TD Windemere location for the past 4 years. The staff is lazy and not knowledgeable with the services that this bank offers. They are rude and disrespectful. They do not care about the client. I will never step foot at this branch again. Extremely disappointing and the staff - specifally the "mortgage advisors/ financial advisors" is the reason this bank will continue to loose clients. They are not fit to be advisors at a bank. After reading the comments from other clients and their ratings, I am definitely not alone. I had the worst experience of my life from a staff at this branch and I will report this to TD. She is not capable of customer service and banking knowledge. Her inability is damaging to future clients and this branch.
I wanted to close my account before we moved back to Germany and the friendly lady told me its not a problem to call in and do it via the phone. It turned out its not toll free for international calls and while I was on the line, which takes for ever, I ran out of money and the call was cut! The online banking chat window is also not working so there is no way for me to close my account anymore except to buy a plane ticket and come back in person?? To be called back I have to enter a canadian phone. No way to change my phone to an international either. If I would have known I would have closed it when I was there, now I have to pay account fees despite not living in Canada and not using TD!
Wife and I are currently buying a house and have been trying to get our banking stuff done at this branch after work, we've showed up countless times about a hour before they close and waited on the barcode line and never even went in keeps saying there's someone ahead of us in line and no one is even in there. They say there hours are till 6 yet all the times we've went there other people and us are waiting to go in and all of us don't end up going in, if you're closed then put closed don't make people wait when especially they are in a time line or other business stuff, I only rate one star because of one older lady that works there she's awesome but this branch is horrible.
I just want to commend Tina, I had an issue with my card not working, and none of the staff at the store knew why my payment wasn't going through, so I headed to the nearest td in currents, I was greeted with politeness, and a smile. I was a bit frustrated not knowing why my card did not work, the staff and Tina helped me understand what was going on and made sure I was able to do what I needed to do even with my card being frozen. Best encounter with bank staff I've ever had, they restored my faith in humanity. Thank you Tina and td staff from the bottom of my heart ❤️ you are all amazing, keep up the great work. Especially you Tina!
Wow. The place is literally empty. No customers. And I walk through the line and agent says if I read the sign outside. Customers are supposed to have a smart phone and scan a barcode and then you are notified to come inside and be served. Whoever thought of this idea needs to resign. The utter complications of a bank at its best. But if you see this location on Google maps, avoid it. They aren't interested in serving you. They want an empty bank to hang out and chat with coworkers and get paid. I'm totally beside myself. Who thought of this?! Loool
Some very helpful and knowledgable staff, usually very short wait times. But the management personal are horrible, sloppy, and spend most of the time on the phone trying to find answers. The bank Manager position is a revolving door . The buisness management are not in the branch every day, and when they are they seem confused. I am used to banking in the States, with Citibank, Chase and TD, where management personal are at the branches a long time, and value the relationships with their customers. Not here.
I booked an appointment over the phone on July 6th 2020 for July 13th 2020 I was told that I will receive a call back from the branch but nobody called. Later I called on July 10th to confirm the appointment I spoke to 2 agents in branch Tina and Kamal and they were both NO HELP. One of them told me she will call me back in 15 minutes but never called and the other simply answered my question by saying I DONT KNOW. worst customer service ever received from a bank. Total disappointment.
Wish the bank had extended hours (until 8:00 like some of the other TDs) - considering it's in such a high profile and high traffic location - but other than that have not had any issues. Any trips where I needed a teller were quick and efficient. Customer service was adequate. Dealt with one adviser here - who seemed decently knowable (even though he did forget to get my signature on literally the only document that was required to set-up the account). Drive-thru available.
I've repeatedly had issues with the mortgage from here. They sent my weekly payments to the wrong account multiple times even though I went in and spoke to a manager to get it right and 3 times over the phone. And yet, every other week I get another call telling me I have a missed payment. I'm so frustrated by this. Just switch the account, the end. Why is this so hard? Don't bother dealing with them, go anywhere else that hires competent people to do simple tasks.
Understaffed and long wait times. Otherwise the staff are generally ok to deal with. However, the wait is very long for what should be a simple in-and-out visit. Also, it seems they’re in a rush to end the work day, especially Saturdays. I get that it’s 3:50pm and you want to go home, but if the schedule posted on the door says 4pm, then as a customer with an account, I expect service til 4pm. Not pleased with this.
After a period of 2 years of going at a few branches to figure out why I was not able to access TD ATM machines with my debit card I was very pleased going for the first time to this branch and having them resolve my issue right away by giving me a new card then and there instead of telling me to call a number or to wait until I receive another card in the mail (which didn’t work either). Great service!
Been there numerous times. Prepare for a minimum of 20 minute wait. Only 1 person working at a time while another is sifting through papers and doesn't see customers. Agents are nice and knowledgeable, but the wait is unacceptable. Out of 7 stations, only one employee??? Common TD! You just hiked up all banking fees after a very successfully profitable year, surely you can afford to hire more staff
I am a 72 old woman with a serious back problem..I gave to go into bank with vivid I understand there will be lines..the lady who was at door allowing people to enter..noticed I was having trouble standing before I went in..she went out of her way to seat me in chair till I was called up to teller..it is one the most thoughtful things I have seen in a long time..very grateful to her .
If there was less stars than 1 I'd put that. I've never had a good experience here. I bank every single day getting bank drafts and anytime I'm forced to come to this branch because of time restraints I'm better off going to Calgary to get a draft. I'm always given issues and they have the worst attitude. By far worst bank in the province I've dealt with most TD banks.
Extremely unprofessional branch. Advisor will book an appointment and when you show up for appointment front staff will tell you advisor is in a meeting and I don't see you have any appointment. How do you expect clients to have access to your systems and not to trust advisor who book appointment and then removes it. Stay away from this branch.
Jack (Dazheng Qi) was brutal. Half asleep. Didn’t bother explaining anything. Didn’t listen. Ended up “ordering” cheque’s for us but never put it through so when asked about it a week later he denies doing this. Painful service. When asking questions about the account he appeared annoyed. Much better service elsewhere.
I had a great experience at this branch today. Came for a bank draft and Justin Wong (Branch manager) helped me with the best customer service and a big smile. Made me feel happy to go back home with what I needed. He also kindly helped me to reset my online password. Thanks Justin, for being so awesome …
Some of the worst service I’ve ever had at TD. I went to 2 different branches on my way home from work asking for Colombian pesos. Both times they made me wait 15 minutes and then came out with Mexican pesos. I know you don’t have to be very smart to be a bank teller but that takes the cake
Horrible service, terrible communication. Myself as business running with a td account. This is the worst branch in all of Edmonton. Avoid it all costs. Everyone has an attitude and absolutely rude. Will be taking my banking elsewhere. Save yourself the grief and go to a different branch
Unresponsive management and staff. Im not happy being a td customer, they closed td location near my house, i had to book an appointment 2 week prior to find someone to help us out. This is ridiculous we have to drive 20 mins to find a branch, and find an appointment to get service.
After dealing with the James Mowatt location and having multiple horrendous experiences, I have started coming to this location and I am more than happy with TD now! From considering to switching banks, to being an extremely pleased customer I highly recommend this location!
I was looking for a mortgage advisor who speaks Farsi and I have called many TD branches. Bryanne helped me (with a very great and positive attitude over the phone) by calling the other branches and did not stop until she found one. Thanks for the great service.
We all know banks don't care about the people that give them their money! This branch takes it a step further to actively screw with people's money! The branch manager does not care even to get out of their chair to have a discussion nevermind try to help you
These guys are complete A holes when it come to deposits. The young men that work here are ignorant misinformed and cannot do any reverse changes for their mistakes that they make. Do not deposit any cheques here. It's been my 6th time having problems
Years ago I was having troubles with this branch. Now It looks like the management chaged. A great bank. Competent team. Very efficient and very accommodating. Thank you so much to the Branch Manager wjo accomodated my request for me and my daughter.
I had a chq from a lawyer that was put on hold because it was not a regular transaction. I have been banking with TD for 10 years+ and all I get is .... its not a regular transaction. Of course its not. CSR Manager is young and not fit for the job.
I come to this branch often as it is my home branch. Whenever I go I’m always greeted with a nice welcome. Tina is very knowledgeable and helpful at all times. She takes the time to understand your situation and solve as soon as possible. …
I came into the branch after struggling on easy web, and getting frustrated on the phone, but Joanna heard me out and helped me take care of the couple simple items I needed. Asset to TD, nice smile as well!
Unbelievable how bad this branch is. I have never had a good experience here. Now I need a new access card because of a "glitch in their system". Everytime I go there is something that goes wrong.
Absolutely horrible location with brutal wait times. Management does not help the tellers when there slammed. I’m absolutely embarrassed to say I bank with TD after today. This branch is pathetic
The location has degraded in service over time since it first opened. Been going since it opened and lately it seems as though they are cycling over employees and managers at a monthly rate.
Never had any issue here, everyone is always friendly and helpful. Rarely any lines. I have never experienced any of the negative things posted here, maybe I'm just lucky.
Made a credit card today, Abhi was amazing he broke down each different credit card to make sure I got what I wanted. Ask for Abhi if wanting to make a credit card …
Always friendly, but do they really have to hire the sloth version of humans. I swear this has got to be where they got the idea to do "Flash the sloth" from Zootopia.
Avoid! I can't express how much of a nightmare TD has been. Not only generally unhelpful, but it's a rotating door of new managers who aren't up to speed on anything.
Terrible service the big lady with the cane seemed to be upset she had to leave her chair to have my cheques looked at it’s worth the drive to go somewhere else
Terrible experience. Wire transfer didn’t work after two weeks and no phone call to clarify the reason. I have to keep calling them to get the money back.
If I didn't have so much payments and direct deposit to cancel. I would have left this gong show a while ago. Never efficient at thier jobs. NEVER
I have been dealing with Austin Staub at this branch for about a year now. He has been extremely helpful for me in all of my banking needs.
Staff doesn't have much knowledge about the online banking , they should get trained to know all the features available at TD online .
Terrible customer service! The manager Raj, for the nerve of her, calls me a liar!!!!! I’ll be taking this to a higher level!!!
Very bad experience. They either need to get HR to hire new tellers and advisors or retrain them. A smile dosent cost a dime!
Priyanka Chauhan, Personal Banking Associate, is very professional and efficient. Highly recommend to deal with her.
Super rude manager that talked to us in a condescending tone. Made it unnecessarily complicated to deposit money
9: 15 in the morning and 7 people in line 1 the. Sure glad you guys braised our monthly fees for that one reller
Horrible service, no compassion. Look at the reviews of this pathetic branch. Time to seriously look elsewhere.
The schedule is misleading, says 9:am for opening but this is the 3rd time I’ve been let in late.
Friendly staff, knowledgeable, they know me by name, better than any of my other banks treat me!
Awful service, rude manner. This branch needs some serious training to young, newbie teller.
Beyond slow service. Please hire Tim Hortons staff members to help you speed it up.
Worst bank in Canada. Move all your funds to ATB as soon as possible. Seriously.
Worst Financial Advisors. So hard to deal with and hardest to get in touch with!
Rude and inconsiderate manager/supervisor. The staff can't do anything about it.
A very quite location and responsible supportive staff good customer service
Best TD on the Southside! knowledgable when 99th st can't figure it out
Always the longest lines . Last 3 times I had to wait 30 minutes .
All ways professional and quality service. Thank you
Very slow service and rude unhelpful staff
Very slow workers and bad service
1 star is too much for this place
Atm wont take my money …
Best customer service
Painfully slow
Worst services
Good location
Worst branch
Good teach
Pathetic
