This might be the most unique Target in the country. It has some of the best stock of any Target, even ones much larger. Items I would have a lot of trouble finding at other locations, such as rare toys or games, are easily found at the Ward Parkway Target. They also somehow have way more clearance items than your normal Target. I've always thought they much get it shipped in from other locations. It also has the charm of the rudest, laziest and totally checked out staff of any Target, hell any store, in the world! Really, it's basically the "Dick's last resort" of Targets. Don't use the self check-out if you really want the full show. The last time I was there the lady at the register actually huffed at me for coming to her line, rolled her eyes, refused to speak to me, didn't bag my items and the second she was done ringing me up (I hadn't paid yet BTW) she got on her phone and started face timing someone. It was such an awful customer service experience that it was sort of beautiful. I've asked staff members where items are only to be told "I don't know, guess we don't have whatever", staff members have run into me with carts with no apology, I've been hit on by staff, I've even seen one of them catching a nap in the garden section last spring. They still work there, so don't worry about that. So come, check out the weirdly fantastic selection of clothes, hygiene/hair care products, toys and electronics. Stay cause a staff member has passed out in front of the exit and you don't want to disturb them.

It’s a pretty standard Target store but not a super Target. It is attached to a shopping centre so you can walk through this location into a mini mall. The Target is fairly clean but those employees are never happy or nice. You walk down an aisle to ask an employee something and they have ear buds in. You wave at them to get their attention and they either A) completely and obviously ignore you or B) look at you, till their eyes and say “What?”. I have since become accustomed to this Target and item locations but their floor team members need some coaching. I’ve had team members squeeze behind me rather quickly and they say nothing. No “pardon me” or “can I get past you” it’s just a push behind you which is kind of awkward. There are also times I have had team members push carts/stock flatbeds (not sure of the right term) into my cart or my leg and I’ll say “ouch” or “I’m sorry” and I NEVER get an “oops” or “my bad” or even a FAKE “I’m sorry”. Mind you, I shop pretty late at night as I work 10 hours shifts so I am probably there around 9ish when there are very little people there so I am confused why they cannot be nice. The check out people are nice. I have never had an issue with them and the front end managers-I think they are called LODs?-are wonderful! Customer service people are very nice and do agree to price match to their website/app which some targets don’t (for some reason or another).

I will never buy from Target again. I was told 3 weeks ago by a manager to go to my bank to retrieve some information so that I could get some warranty help with my computer I bought. After retrieving the information from my bank I came back to the store only to find that she didn't know what she was talking about. the warranties for their computer products are only good through the receipts. I've lost my receipt and they can't pull it up and now all I have is a broker computer with a receipt that I paid for and no help from Target at all. I've come up here three times to get help to try to get with this they gave me one other avenue to call target.com. I feel like that I shouldn't be having to do the leg work after I've came up here three times to try to get it to get this thing in order. The managers were less than helpful and offered me a $10 gift card to compensate me for my $450 computer.I was in the process of buying a bunch of laptops to help my employees at my company. I won't be buying them from Target and I'm going to tell everybody that I can about my experience with this. I was at the Target on Ward parkway all the managers came to help but told me to come back and forth gave me a run around and then ultimately said they could do nothing.

This location has a good selection & lots of quality clearance. The staff, however, is often rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Many employees have given misinformation about products they carry. For example, on multiple occasions I’ve asked an employee if they carry a certain product. They respond with “I don’t know”, “I don’t think so”, or “maybe in another department”. When I’ve specifically requested the employee look it up or find someone that can help only a couple times have they actually attempted to assist me and they often just say “if we have it, it’s not in this department. I suggest you try looking somewhere else” and “I’m sure we don’t carry that so maybe check another store”. 90% of the time I’ve been able to find the products I was looking for after searching the store for a relatively long time (15-25 minutes) and it’s either in stock and they do carry it or in a completely different department than where I was told they carry it. The shoe department is consistently stocked incorrectly ( most items not on a shelf with the correct price tag) and it’s almost always extremely messy. Other departments are fairly organized and correctly shelved with the corresponding price tags.

Now normally I’d give benefit of the doubt, assuming someone had a bad day, but I am sorely embarrassed for the cashier whose behavior was unbelievably rude, lazy and inconsiderate. I ordered online for in-store pick-up and the lady who checked me out exhibited the worst customer service I’ve encountered in a long while. She slowly walked up to the counter, no one in line, rolling her eyes, and didn’t say a word the entire time - not a hello or how can I help you. After scanning the order barcode she continued to talk with her coworker until she finally slowly walked to the pick up area. When she was walking back, the wreath I had just purchased was being swung in her hand knocking against her knee with each step and a flower fell out. She was so rude and acted like I was putting her out. I am ashamed for her and the lack of knowledge she has of customer service.

One associate at the self checkout. Our item wouldn't scan. Lady asked us step out of line and go back to electronics to check out because no one could come to the front of the store to help us. Clerk in electronics was playing on a tablet. He typed in the sku because item would not scan and gives us the total for that item. I point out we also wanted the poster that we had set on the counter as well. He rang that up, my daughter paid for both items, he returned her change. Then he hands me an empty Target bag. I kind of lost it then stating that "I didn't realize Target had gone to bag your own items aside from self checkout". This was at 2pm on Wednesday and the store was not crowded at all. Electronics associate had plenty of time to play on a tablet, but really needed to focus more on customer service.

We went to this location today to buy chairs after the Olathe location told us they had 6 in stock. When we couldn’t find them and eventually found someone to help, he said they don’t carry that item. When I explained the situation and showed him the photo of the internal computer system he said, “I don’t know why it says that. We don’t have it. We haven’t had it for at least a month.” The last customer he had helped was having the same issue with a futon. When I asked for a manager to get help, he called me “a situation” over the radio. Two more white men came to help, neither of which identified themselves as a manager or offered any help or incentive. The only apology was directed at my husband, not me. I will not be returning to this location and am very disappointed in their customer service.

I was treated very rudely and frightening on a visit to Target (wardparkway). The cashier was rude, condescending. When I went to ask about a gift card. She walked up to whete I was at customer service and said "YOU BETTER NOT BE TELLING ON ME!" (Then it was a he/ said she said ordeal When she concluded if I did sorry!" With the utmost sincerity. NOT My last visit there..I waited a while. A gentleness was real nice. When I asked about the gift card for purchasing beauty products, because I probably would get 2. He said something to the affect of the system didn't do it. So I'll discount it $20 . I looked at my receipt in the car...nothing! So, I feel if you're a senior at Target you get treated like they can get one over on you and threaten you. What a world so very sad.

I have worked at target for nearly 6 months and I still cannot get a red card. I tried applying for the credit red card and i was denied for not having a credit score yet. I was told all I needed for a debit red card was my account and routing number. Then when I brought in my those numbers and tried to apply I was told I had to apply online because I did not have a check. I don't use checks. Target is making it extremely difficult for me to get a red card and shop there. Also 3 women went through guest services ahead of me with no problems and the guest service workers attitude only changed after they saw Anthony on my drivers license after presuming I was a female and greeting me with hello mam. Disappointed with the apparent discrimination so I took my business elsewhere.

I picked up my store order at 8509 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114 and parked in the designated spots. The 2 employees working were not paying any attention and their cart hit my car. They damaged my car. When I approached the employee on what happened she took the cart and went back inside. Not a single apology or any acknowledgment from anyone. She then continued on to delivering everyone else’s orders and completely ignored me. Very very disappointing. I am just so shocked on how the employees acted. For anyone reading this that shops at Ward Parkway Target, park far away from the front pick up area where all their carts sit so that this doesn’t happen to you. Or go to any other Target, maybe you’ll have better customer service there.

Last few months this store has been having trouble with stock and store cleanliness and especially presentation. If I wanted to shop at a unreliable, dirty and mismanaged store I'd go to Walmart. Even the employees are rude these days and have an IDGAF attitude. This target used to hire quality individuals; I've moved to doing only pickups and that was going fine until my last few trips. Either you guys cancel my items and don't even bother to replace it w/the substitute backups or simple don't even include the item and I have to wait on Target support to ship it. However I noticed if a item is cancelled I MIGHT get a refund, yes might! And when its cancelled you don't get a ship to me option. What a janky half @ system!

Came here a second time shopping for vacuums. The selection really makes me happy. There are price points for all types, makes, brands, and models. All good quality. By no means will I ever pay $400 for a vacuum. If you do, come here. Ended up in the bed/bath section. Even my friend remarked the plushness of the towels for the price was great. I'm just sayin. Good selection of lamps, T.P./kleenex dispensers, soap dispensers, all the stuff if which makes retail therapy fun. Grocery section seems like it gets bigger and bigger. Wine too! Impressed by target. This is a very well maintained store location. Organized, stocked well, and people are casually polite - which is nice, nothing too much.

  • Susan Eason

It was convenient, but, I ended up needing to go into the store anyway. Not all items were listed, so I had to go to another store and then, I found them when I went in to Target to get other items. Also, I was very disappointeed in the size of one of the items I purchased. I thought it was going to be much larger. I will be returning that item and purchasing something else. So, I appreciate the convenience, but there are still some downsides, I had to go to 2 different stores to get all the items I wanted and when I went to one store, I saw, almost all of the items I went to the other store to get. (It was school supplies, so I understand, that it's a very busy and unusual time).

Absolutely terrible place to shop. Most of the employees seem to hate being there, most are moody and do not go out of their way to make a good experience for the guest. So many aisles half to completely empty, cant seem to ever keep a decent stock. One bad experience particularly stands out with 2 employees standing behind the electronics counter (most of the time nobody is back there) and neither would check me out with one saying "I dont work here bro"(not to mention he had his mask dangling off his ear not over his face). This store is so not worth the time or stress I would happily drive to the mission target where they seem to have none of these issues listed above.

  • SmokingWithMoni

Made A Purchase Took Over 2 Hours To Receive 3 Items & When I Went To The Store Before It Was Finished Found The Exact Items I Was Looking For in 2 Secs & The Clerk Was Very Unhelpful & After spending my money once they processed to tell me they couldn’t check out my items & I would just have to wait till they get the order completed . After I Stated I Need The Items Now & Of I Knew It Would Take This Long To Form A 3 Item Order I Would Have Just Saved My Time . Made Me Buy The Outfit Twice & Now I Have To Wait 3 or more Day For My Money Back On Something That The Employee Could Of Just Completed When I Brought Her The Items She Just Looked At Me Stupid

This Target is CRAZY BUSY on the weekends. The parking lot is always full with unapologetic drives who don't know how to drive. The team members are EXCELLENT and help whenever they can. But because they are so busy with customers asking silly questions it's hard to find them on the floor. I like everyone in there Starbucks cafe but just try to avoid it on the weekends because everyone is trying to get a drink and they usually only have one person working behind the bar. If you don't want a long wait go to the self check-out in front of the mall entrance. You can avoid all the crazy people inside the store by going with this route.

  • Natalie Busch

Bad experience. Woman who checked me out did not give me 2 of our 10 bags! How do you do that? I drove home 15 minutes and realized it when I started unpacking everything. Upon further inspection of the receipt I realized I was charged for five pizzas instead of four. I drove back to Target and Customer Service had our two bags sitting behind the Customer Service desk. The customer service employee never said sorry!!! She gave me the two grocery bags and refunded me for the pizza I was mistakenly charged for and that was it. Terrible customer service. I just would have liked an, “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.”

  • Michael Moskerintz

This store is always crowded, kind of dirty and has all the issues that you see in a high volume, overcrowded store. There is ALWAYS a wait at the checkout counter and the employees appear to be overworked and stressed. This just adds to the theme of there being very mediocre shopping options in the Waldo area. It as if it is still 1995 and Waldo is a declining area, when in actuality it is supposed to be one of the hot up and coming areas in the city. I hate to have to drive into Johnson County to have a decent shopping experience. Target, please staff this store with more people, especially checkout clerks!

  • Madison Heman

I usually am excited to go to target but lately its been disappointing, the past 3 times I have been to this location the food section is very bare and I have noticed other sections as well to just be out of a lot of things in multiple sections. Tonight I thought I was getting something on sale and then read my receipt after checking out and had to get a price adjustment, its not a big deal but I think if something is actually on sale on a sign it should actually be on sale when scanning the item. Not everyone checks their receipt when they are inside a store before leaving.

  • Asia

Editing my review because this Target isn’t what it was. I come here a lot for hair products because they carry the products I can’t find in other Targets. THEY LITERALLY DON’T RESTOCK THE ETHNIC HAIR SECTION. I’ve come here twice in one week & the section doesn’t change. Products have been opened &/or spilled. No wonder most of them are on clearance. I’ll look online for an item & it’ll say they have it in stock but when I get to the store, it’s not there. Please clean up your store, restock the isles and make sure you have products in stock before customers make trips.

  • Ezra Dufair

Don't shop at this Target and don't work at this Target. They are always behind, understaffed, and out of stock. ALWAYS. They give you far more work than is reasonable in a shift, and they're ready and waiting to write you up given the opportunity. Currently (2022) the Beauty, style, and tech departments are managed by Danielle. She's the worst manager I've ever had. She makes everyone feel like an inconvenience, and she'll never be happy with you or your work. She It's physical labor, and a lot of it. It's not worth your mental health.

  • Cullen Mulrooney

When I went to leave the store an employee who was collecting carts, parked the cart machine in front of my car and refused to move it. Even after I informed him it was in my way and I needed to go, he still refused instead taking his time collecting more carts. I was stuck in my parking spot for about 10 minutes until the car parked behind me move and I was able to back out that way. This employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not visit this Target (Ward Parkway) again if this is how the employees treat their customers.

  • Ryan Freeman

Being an exceptionally busy target, the staff has continued to deliver great customer service and they are always friendly and helpful. The reason for my 4/5 rating is the one thing that bothers me about this target, being their overuse of the whole store’s intercom system. Associates contacting both associates and customers this frequently should be communicated in a differently, with head sets, phone, or physically speaking to them. It would also bother me less if it weren’t so loud and almost startling.

  • Sara Mabin

This Target isn't terrible, but it's set up a little strange. It's in the Ward Parkway Shopping Center, so everything a little off from the start. They're smaller, so the selection isn't as great as a standard Target, and they run out of things quickly (shoes on popular sizes, etc.). That being said, it gets the job done. It's still Target, which beats the heck out of Walmart any day. The employees are friendly, it's reasonably clean and well lit, and you can get paper towels when you need them.

  • Andy Hoger

They remodeled the store and seems like they did a re-org. Lately, it seems like the stock is getting better, but still debating if I can use it as an everyday grocery store (without having to go anywhere else). And maybe stock isn't the issue. The problem I run into the most is ordering groceries over the app, and the app shows it in stock, when it really isn't. I hope my recent experiences are a sign of what's to come...love the people, the location and the community!

  • Jill Z

Just shopped this Target during the busy holiday season. Truthfully, I was dreading it. The crowds, lines, etc. To my surprise the store was very well staffed and stocked. I was approached several times by very friendly staff to ensure I was finding everything ok, and to my surprise, there was absolutely no wait at checkout. They had many many lanes open and running smoothly. My checker was friendly, quick and professional. Kudos to all for surpassing my expectations!

  • Cassandra Hunter

Staff was pleasant as soon as I walked in. Store was clean. Parking was a tiny bit difficult, but then again, I didn't use the Pick-Up parking spots for my pick up (my own choosing so no point deflection here). Customer Service rep at the desk was extremely nice, made sure my item was the appropriate size and color before allowing me to walk away with an incorrect item, all the while with a big smile on her face. Something that many employees can forget these days.

  • Mandy Caruso-Yahne (Amanda)

Ward Parkway location the week before Christmas, I expected crazy. I had to return some holiday gift bags that were too small, had my receipt and walked right up to the returns desk. The cashier put down the thereturns she was sorting to help me and chuckled when I commented on fact that there wasn't a line. She told me I just missed it as she scanned my receipt, the bags, and credited it back to my credit card. Super quick and easy and she made it very pleasant.

  • Chad Clayton

Biggest Target I’ve ever seen (non-Super). They seem to have everything. Pharmacy & Optical clinic. Large variety of wine and spirits. Larger than normal grocery section. Hearth and Hand with Magnolia section. And everything else you’d expect from a Target. Starbucks included. They also have access to the mall shops. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Facilities and restrooms were clean and well-stocked. Nice store in this area of Kansas City!

  • Sarah Hudson

No matter what store I go to in my area, it's clean and well lit. Usually always stocked for what I need/am looking to purchase or I can easily find an alternative. Prices are a bit higher than I would like, but comparable to other stores and I'd rather go somewhere nicer (such as Target) and pay a bit more for a better store. The layout of the stores are great. The only issue we sometimes have is there aren't enough employees at the check out.

  • Greg Houston

Location: Ward Parkway. I have never experienced so many problems with items incorrectly price marked than I have at this store. Everyone should be careful to check prices and watch at checkout to make sure you are not being overcharged. Almost every visit requires override by store employees due to this. Frequently aisles are completely obstructed by stockers during shopping hours which makes navigating the aisles particularly difficult.

  • Everett John Graves-Swinney

I went in after 5:30pm and there were only two teenagers in the electronics dept trying to get people to change mobile services (without knowledge of when the promotion ended). They didn't know where or when the electronics person would be back. I tried to call the department with no one answering the phone for 30 minutes. I then tried to call guest services with similar results. I guess don't try to buy anything in the cases after 5:30!

  • Donald Latimer

I just returned from the Target on Ward Parkway and had a very good experience. The brand and type of coffee I wanted had an empty bin. 2 ladies dug around in the other bins and found the one I wanted. One was so persistent. When I told her I would like to buy 2 she continued until she found another. I will never forget those 2 ladies. I have lots of bad shopping experiences, so this mad it so much better. Thank you ladies!

  • Jake Phillips

Visited whilst staying in KC from the UK. First time visiting America and I was looking forward to going to a Target, but weirdly, I was underwhelmed. From the UK, Target is always known to having loads of exclusives for vinyl records, funko pops etc, but I couldn't find many. Some areas were slightly messy too. On the bright side, I found Oatmeal Creme Pies, which I fell in love with whilst visiting! 3.5☆

  • Ted Anderson

1 "personed" checkout open at 4:30 in the afternoon. 2 people in "returns" where there are no customers. 19 people waiting for the self-checkouts. So I wait in the one manned checkout stand and get to the front and the checker says, "I'm closed" shuts off her light and walks away. I just left my cart full of stuff there because I think Target wants to keep it more than they want to sell it.

  • Bex Hartke

This Target always seems like it's hanging on by a thread - understaffed and under-stocked... They've been trying to make a lot of improvements over the past year, which have helped immensely, but this location is just too small for their needs really. However, when all's said and done, I'm grateful to have a Target so centrally located in KC, otherwise I would never be able to shop there.

  • Aaron Tracy

The store is horribly mismanaged. I've shopped there for years because it is close, but they are out of product every single day. For example, I buy heavy whipping cream every week. I have gone to this target twice a week for almost two years and their target brand cream has been available there times in those two years. The store is not kept clean either. I'd avoid it at all costs.

  • Isabella Vogel

i am extremely upset by the target on state lines customers service i lost my keys in target nobody helped me find them i was looking for 30min i asked if they could check the clothing aisle and they said they didn’t see anything and i went to go look for myself and it was right there. I asked multiple workers for help and they just would go back to talking to each-other.

  • Hilary Noonan

If you need something from Target, well, this is one. If you must go here (and over the years many things in my house started here) then park way out at the northwest end of the parking lot or park a level below and go up the stairs. The parking lot is poorly designed and the drivers are worse. Be very careful if you decide to shop here. Your insurance rates could climb!

  • Jacquelyn Gibbs

I went to purchase a book on it's release date, and the employees did not have them out and refused to let me buy one. If I was an author and I learned that a company I had a contract with was not selling my merchandise, I'd be extremely livid. I will be reporting this incident to the publicist, as I'm sure they don't appreciate their product not being sold.

  • Pat Rush

GREAT STAFF AND AN OUTSTANDING STORE. The service at this store is unparalleled. The associate I worked with, Josh Hart, was kind, attentive, and very professional. Josh is an asset to your store, and there should be more associates in retail with Josh's superior work ethic. It was a pleasure to do business with Josh, and the store experience was phenomenal.

  • Leslie Holliday

Target at Ward Parkway has to be the worst store in the entire company. The lay out makes no sense. Order pick up is in a dressing room (no attendant so good luck). Selection is slim. Lines are long. And the parking lot is an actual nightmare. Avoid this store at all costs. Go a few miles down the road to 135th and State Line. Much better store overall.

  • Marie Gail Stratford

This Target location is most convenient for those living in Kansas City, MO. However, it does not feature a full grocery department like other Target stores in the area. Staff is always courteous. The store is well kept up and items are generally easy to find. The parking lot is always crowded, so plan on walking a little ways when shopping here.

  • Nam Cu

Sean or Shawn at the electronics department is extremely lazy. He had confirmed over the phone that there was a product on the shelf which prompted me to drive 45 mins to go pick it up. When I got there, the product was not available and another associate said she had not seen it on the shelf at all. This tells me he did not even bother to check.

  • caitlin muscari

Didn’t give me half of my drive up order that they said was ready, had to call the store 8 times to get someone to answer. Response was I got was are you still in the parking lot, and if you come back with in the week we can see if we can do something for you, but after that we won’t do anything. Said he “talk” to the employees …… sure he will

  • MiMi R

I loooooove Target's multicultural approach that I've noticed mostly since Christmas. Around that time they had Santa's and Nutcrackers that were visibly brown and black. I picked up a Christmas ornament depicting a black child. I returned mid January after MLK day and saw the collection of shirts and pullovers. I just had to have one.

  • Aaron Dunn

Needs better customer service. Two women just stood there as I checked out whispering. When I was on my way out gave fake have a nice day. On the way out she made sound as I left the self check towards me. Wanted to says something but way. Too early in the morning to go off on a white chick that has brushed her teeth since she was two

  • K'Lyn Hardy

this target is always busy, quickly run out of things, and always have one box of diapers left every time I need two. some things on the target app will say that they have something (like baby water) but then when your inside there is none stocked. I really used to love this target but the one on 135th and Stateline is better.

  • Jamie Ward

I like the regular updates they do on inventory, they do a good job of keeping trends moving along and giving good selections. The fresh grocery section has always left me feeling like they don't pay much mind to that section (probably because Trader Joe's is next door) overall prices are OK just depends on what you are buying

  • Justin Price

Target is often considered the anti-Wal-Mart and for good reason. They tend to be cleaner and while the price tends to be higher, they still are quite competitive. This Target is no different. It is as clean as any Target and while the selection is smaller than a normal Target, it should be good enough for the casual shopper.

  • Mike Barber

Employees seemed fine but was the dirtiest Target I've been to--clothes all over the floor in every department, hangers on the ground. Men's bathroom was just as dirty. Don't usually post reviews but hopefully higher ups will make a change. Like Target but would stay away from this one unless changes are made

  • Matt Davis

The electronics salesman was very helpful, especially when he admitted to gaps in his knowledge (instead of just BSing me). The customer service rep, too, was very courteous in doing a price match that knocked $10 off the shelf price. This is a big reason why I come to Target over their primary competitor.

  • Aladdin Prime

Waited 15 minutes in electronics nobody was there. Found a employee who called on the walkie for assistance in Electronics , Nobody came. Had a 2nd employee call , nobody came. So I left ! Parking lot had so much trash and the inside looked like a Ross or Marshall's . I just needed a PS5 controller. …

  • Rebekah Madasz

Do not shop here because managers, cashiers, and workers arn't focused on their work or professionalism instead humiliate customers directly in damaging ways and its obvious management doesn't say anything to them. Recommend just returning all items when this occures anywhere at Target locations

  • Grant Baldwin

I purchased a $0.89 Hotwheel and brought it back to exchange it for a different one my son didnt have. It had not been opened and they made it a big ordeal. I had to go get my ID and then still couldnt guarantee anything. I just wanted an exchange. Not my money back. Horrible customer service.

  • John Clymore

I have been constantly disappointed in this Target. I have used the app which says products are in the store than they are not. The target seems to be out of products all of the time. The shelves seem bare. I wish there was a closer store to my house. I guess it is Walmart pick up from now on.

  • Lyne't C. Eshun

The young lady who was handling the order pickups asked every individual customer, who was standing in the customer service line were we there for pickup. I was literally in and out before 5 minutes was up. The efficiency, time management, and positive customer service she gave us unmatched.

  • K. T.

I've been shopping at target many years I absolutely love target. I enjoy the employees there. Their helpful and pleasant. The prices and quality of clothing items are geat..don't feel cheap-ish. Ward Parkway Target is my store- but I've shopped at others and I have no complaints.

Didn’t realize you have to tell the cashier when an item is on sale I thought the bright yellow tag was on there for a reason…when checking out it was evident the cashier wanted to go home and could care less. When asked a question I was met with a blank stare and nothing else

This is almost like any other target. Their super market section is a little more restricted than some I have seen. The housewares, toys, electronics and other sections are fairly normal though. The prices are higher than most Walmarts for nearly the same shopping experience.

This place is the trashiest dump I've ever been to. Literally impossible to find anything, looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. When I did find what I was looking for (the Rocketbook) All 3 on the shelf were ripped open. It almost feels mad max apocalyptic in there.

  • Mari

This store is always unorganized. They took 6 hours to get my drive up order just for me to get there and tell me I have to come inside because drive up is closed??? Literally the worst target ever. Understaffed I’m sure but never hire people who are overly qualified.

My son needed new swim trunks for his water ski class. Of course I didn't know his old trunks didn't fit until day of. Target associate met me at the front of the store with correct size so I wouldn't be late. Awesome service. Much appreciated.

I actually like this Target. I can usually find what I'm looking for and there's usually not a terribly long line to check out. The parking lot is absolutely terrifying though and I avoid this Target just because of the parking lot.

  • Stephanie Hertel

Phenomenal customer service, made my target run a very pleasant one! I interacted with 3 staff members, all were more than helpful and very friendly. Especially a young man at customer service, his upbeat attitude made my morning!

  • Carolyn Fischer

Always love my experience at this location! There have been some long-standing staff here, but even the newer ones are super pleasant!! They clearly create a great environment for their employees, which transfers to the guests!

  • Mary Nestel

Target on line shopping and then picking up locally is exactly why I refuse to use Amazon. Super easy and received within an hour which in this case needed ink for a printer so work would continue in the office. Thanks Target!

  • Eileen Boster

The young lady that was working the self check out area (Noon on 12/15 at Ward Parkway Store KCMO) was very helpful. I had a Target Red Circle offer that I was having issues with. She cheerfully helped me resolve the issue.

  • Palmtrees Sunshine

Had a great experience today at the Target at Ward Parkway, 8509 Stateline Road. The CVS pharmacist went above and be on to help me find a product that I needed for my little kids. He made my trip there seamless.

  • Kevin Love

This was my first trip to this store and I was not used to the layout. I was looking for a certain kind of brat and I finally found it with the help of a store employee. She was very helpful and knowledgeable.

  • Jen M

I went to exchange an item at the "returns and exchange" counter. Turns out they only do returns there. No exchanges. I bought the $25 item with a coupon, so was offered $3 back. Time to update your sign!

  • Amarri Frazier

please do not shop at this target. The manager in style I believe her name was Danielle acted like she didn’t want to help at all and was very rude to me. Target needs to work on getting better employees.

  • Frank H

Shelf prices display a lower price and actual price charged at checkout is higher. Was overcharged $2.40 for three items I purchashed. Don't shop at Target unless you like to overpay for your items.

  • Michael De Voe

I have called three different departments in clouding guest services. The calls were all around noon. No one answered a single call. Clearly they do not want to actually have contact with customers.

  • vivi haze

Well stocked store. Nice and clean. Most employees are friendly and helpful. Pharmacy staff always wonderful. Appreciate that they monitor the checkout lines and when they get long, they open more.

  • Joe Storm

You couldn't pay me to interact with another moody African American female cashier. I did self checkout accidentally the wrong way and a cashier got in my business and it was an unprovoked attack

  • Sasha Minx

Pretty consistent with their stock practices. I luv how they put all the Covid cleaning products and sanitizers in the main aisles so we didn't have to search for them throughout the whole store.

  • Angie Lile

I don't really need to recommend Target to anyone but when they started the car pickup service... that all changed. I love the convenience and it never takes two hours, it's usually very fast.

  • Laura Wiltshire

Tannor at self checkout went above and beyond to keep the line moving efficiently AND help me get a copy of a book on its release date. Extremely positive, exemplary service. Thanks Tannor!

  • Daniel Bodenhamer

So easy to return. No digging out the receipt as it goes back to my credit cared! Great staff - always ready to help you find something. Gotta LOVE the sanitized carts going in the door.

  • Karissa Jones

I adore Target's drive up service! The Ward Parkway location always has my order ready & in my vehicle within moments of my arrival. This saves me so much time & anxiety. Love it.

  • Lori Forrest

I had a good experience at Target. We shop there often and always see your employee Lori. She is always friendly and helpful. Lori is very kind. We enjoy shopping at Target

  • Meredith Mau

Target is my go to store. The quality of products is better than their major competitor. Especially their in house up and up brand performs much better than great value.

  • CMGeek

Fast check out. Friendly cashier and floor staff help me look for an item. Unfortunately this Target didn't sell it like the others. Clean store and lots of parking.

  • Cheryl Caldwell

My shopping experience with Target was astounding! Please understand that each completed survey & response takes time away from my other “paid” obligations! …

  • Joelle Melling

Experienced great customer service here. An employee went out of their way to treat me fairly with a mislabeled product, and to help with our cart as we left.

  • Vonettia Calloway

This Target was tucked into a cozy little strip mall. Quiet. Well-stocked. And Great Starbucks Team! They knew what Black Teas they had for my friend …

  • Freddie Weisshaar

Able to pick anything you need for your house bathroom bedroom or just for yourself very awesome customer service and great people …

  • Chris Haake

I bought an OneBlade electric razor on the advice and recommendation of a cashier that said her son had one and loved it. She was spot on!

  • Molly Helm

The lady at the return counter has to be the rudest person I have ever met. It’s shocking someone like this can work in customer service !

  • Sachin Sood

Always a good experience. There's good deals for Circle members all the time. Self checkout is easy and fast and the staff is very nice.

  • Lindsey Lewis

Convenient and clean. Would love if they sold some local goods (Whole Foods seemed to figure it out) and had more community outreach.

  • Stephanie Bonnie

Great selection but some items are out of stock. Gets lots of traffic being on missouri side so they can sell wine, beer and liquor.

  • BoyShelby

Hands down the worst managed Target I've ever been to. Consistently out of stock on very basic items. Absolutely ridiculous.

  • Lee Appleberry

The worst location possible 3 different people couldn’t help find one item in electronics smh worst employee’s possible.

  • STEVOVIII

You usually pay a small premium for shopping at Target too. Forget trying to grab a bottle of wine with your groceries.

  • Anna Jackson

Waited 40+ minutes at drive up just to return something. No one answered phone after multiple attempts. Still waiting.

  • james schaefer

A true Aristocrat pronounces this store as "Tar-shzay." :) Excellent customer service and usually a good selection.

  • Ky MiraVision

Not one single department answers the phone over the course of a week and so on what is going on in there

  • Tracy Travis

Target is where I get my jeans I went and got my jeans came back out had Starbucks too enjoyed my visit
