I had to call the emergency locksmith service last night when I was locked out of a very secure housesit house! Jason gave us the most amazing service. He attended within moments. He took a creative and flexible approach and helped us meet the necessary ID and security requirements, given that we were not the owners of the house and they could not be contacted. He opened the substantial modern lock in an instant with no damage whatsoever, was polite and pleasant to deal with and I thought the price for an after-hours service was extremely reasonable. I am so grateful for his assistance and would not hesitate to use this service again (but hopefully will NEVER lock myself out again either!)

I twisted and snapped a key in a door lock on a Friday afternoon in the Hobart CBD - Prior to calling I assumed I would be told it was too late in the day for a call out or would be charged a ridiculous fee, it was the exact opposite - Someone arrived within 5 mins, retrieved the broken key and cut me a new one all at a reasonable cost, super friendly and super easy - Highly recommend this service. Took two aftermarket transponder keys to programme to my car. The specialist provided free key shells and chips because the originals I bought on the internet did not work, despite promises. He then worked on after closing time, and refused to accept defeat. All now work perfectly. Service well beyond expectations! Well done indeed!! By the way, they carry those keys themselves - if only I had known!

Great, fast & efficient service. I moved into my new home, phoned Tasmanian Locksmiths to arrange for them to change the house locks. They were very organised, and "locked in" (pardon the pun) a fixed time to arrive to do the work. In my case - the same day. They arrived on time, and did an excellent job with some old tricky locks. Tasmanian Locksmiths have top-quality service at really great prices. We needed a lockbox attached to our letterbox, they sent someone out immediately to assess the potential lockbox placement, provided options for the lockbox itself and installed all within a 24 hour period! MK and John were both friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their service!

In this day and age it is really refreshing to find a company that arrives on time, completes the job quickly and efficiently, are extremely courteous and clean up afterwards. Was Quoted $60 to re-key 2 locks. When I arrived I was told "these are hard to change lock" and so would cost $75. Went to another locksmith (also quoted $60) and they said they were easy to change and only charged $48. This locksmith is either incompetent or scamming customers. Would not recommend.

WE have the largest Backpackers Hotel in Australia the IMPERIAL BACKPACKERS HOTEL HOBART. The door lock system requires special keys which our guests lose constantly...having fun out. Replacement keys are ordered and ready in 24 hours MK and his Team are extremely efficient. :)

I arrived with what I anticipated might be a very tricky job - an antique jewellery case with broken lock. I was lucky enough to be served by Stuart, who carefully analysed the problem and set about fixing it while I waited. Excellent service. Very highly recommended.

They are a total rip-off. Charged me $300 plus all the other usual charges for a lock sold and commonly available for $189 and although it was right on their way, charged me $25 for dropping the key at real estate office. Will never use them again. Beware.

Great response time and quality work carried out. JUST BEWARE of their call out fee $95 CBD or $100 outer suburb's (Dynnyrne/Sandy Bay) I was charged $100 service fee and it took them 7 min to drive to location. that's on top of the work carried out.

Amazing product and service. Replaced all locks in a house for me other day and it was very fast, quality lock sets and even gave me a new garage roller door remote and fitted a tricky window lock. Hands down best locksmith out there.

Well just want to say we didn't receive 4stare service as Tasmanian locksmith did not come we actually got inside our house through the roof after waiting more than 5hrs and 3calls later they were a no-show mmmm …

I come in with a picture of a lost key. Never thought they can help me but this guys just are the best, they took the printing and find out which key it was and try to make a copy. Unbelievable good only for the try
