The bays are usually kept clean by the staff and the water pressure is really strong. They use warm water so it makes cleaning the grime off a lot easier. They use digital timers so you know exactly how much time is left. There is a change machine along with a token machine that accepts cash or credit cards. The only thing that I dislike about this car wash is that it gets really busy but that is understandable since it is one of the better car washes in the area. Also during the winter I always see the bays full of chunks of ice left over from other cars. I've never seen anyone clean it and often times I have to push the snow with my bumper. The Wave is open from 6am-12am 7 days a week. Update: hours seem to change during the time of year so you may want to call ahead to see if they are open.

The water there is dirty. My black car looks worse than before after I've washed it there. The attendant came up to me asking why my car was still running. I told him the car doesn't like the humidity and won't start afterwards. So unless you want to push it out. It is what it is. He then walks away. Then comes back and asks when I'm gunna be done while I'm trying to wash my car. Now he's wasting my time and money trying to get me to leave. Told him when the clock runs out I'll leave. He stands there watching me the whole time. Meanwhile I was in that carwash for probably a total of 8 mins with the car running. Both over head doors open so I knew there was ventilation. Guess I'll have to go to a different coin op car wash now. Would not recommend this place..

This is the overall best car wash I've encountered in the city. Eight bays. Long hours (6am-midnight 7 days/week). System has excellent water pressure and doesn't skimp on soap. Clean, bright and well maintained. Well staffed during core hours. Always adding latest tech - most recently the ability to use tap (debit and credit card) in each individual stall. No more loonies or tokens required! Lines can be long when it's messy out, but all that tech helps decrease the average wash time so the line usually moves reasonably fast. Avoid peak hours/days, because if there's nobody waiting you can towel dry inside (just please don't do so when others are waiting - staff will stop you anyway).

First time in a long time I've been here. I work in the area and had time this morning so I figured id give the car a wash. I remember the last time being better. Today the 2 dollar start got me less than 3 mins. and the additional dollar only got me 1 min. would have been cheaper if I had just kept putting toonies after the cycle expires. The pressure was average but not as strong as other places. Soap was there but not very soapy on the wand and in the foam brush. wax looked like it worked well. 8 bays 5 had cars 3 were empty but not blocked as if they were out of service. And people lined up outside. I wont go again. I wont advise people to spend the time there either.

omg the best car wash experience I've, lot’s of functions, cheap price, multiple payment way and the best staff. Since Car store closed their free car wash services, My girlfriend just suggested me to go to this place for washing. But I never use hand wash before, I asked the supervisor to help me to do the credit card payments. Then the supervisor just come and teach me how to wash the car. after time up, he paid 4 dollars for me and help me totally washed my car. After that, he give me a free nice towel for clean my wet car. Best car wash place and the best supervisor. Definitely will be there next time.

The stalls are small but not the end of the word. The sprayer and quality of stuff is good here however the cost of this place is alot more the. Others. Strictly 2$ here gets u like 2 minutes. Go to the next wand wash I won't name it here but not too far from this location there cheaper in the end, even better quality and the soap and wax are much better. Also you can't use a cloth to wash the soap on car if you choose instead of the brush and you can even dry your vehicle unless you feed the meter lol. Most places give you 5 minutes if there full bays and if not full bays then they don't care.

2023 update Took away a star for the new pay terminals that remove odd number dollar amounts. Come on Wave... What's up with that? I want my $5 car wash! I want choice! Great price and high quality water pressure. This is the best bang/buck to wash your car in the city. Quick update they changed their hours to 6am to 10pm. I am an early riser but have no interest to wash cars in the morning. I'd be great if they changed their closing hours to 11pm or 12am as that's when I'm able to get a lot of tasks like this done

Location is good. I couldn't find dedicated stalls for drying the vehicle unless you go outside and dry outside. Few bays are available for washing the cars. I also found the bays to be little tight spots as compared to other locations of car wash. The best part about this location is that you can even use quarters, loonies and toonies and even cards. Some places start with toonies these days. I believe few bins are required to dump your stuff while vacuum

  • Brian Wills

The good: There are 8 stalls and you wash your own car. Loonies and toonies accepted. Also can use credit card, apple pay, and google pay. I think you can use debit too. Sprayer, soapy scrub brush, and vacuum. Similar to other places. It was clean and easy to access. The bad: I find it very expensive. One dollar per minute. You gotta hustle to clean your car. They also want you to pay if you want to let your vehicle dry in the bay.

Warm water during winter, very fair rate. Good pressure You can even use Tap by credit card. Be prepare for a long line during winter , or even worst during the day on the weekend. The bay was pretty well-taken care of by the staff. I just wished they have some place to hang towels and wash equipment that we bring and occasional wipe down on the hose as it picks up dirt when we hold it. In General, no complains! :)

Terrible car wash. $8.00 to wash our small suv. I pulled out to chamios it off and there was no point. Massive dirty film. I walked back in to tell the employee and he said" oh well not sure what to tell you" so had to drive to another car wash and spent $4.00. Cam out with no film and looked great. I will never attend this car wash......spend your hard earned money somewhere else folks!

  • Daryl

The person is so nice when we asked for help. It's our first time there and the person working there even helped us clean the car and taught us what to do and taught us the best practice in washing the car from the outside to the inside. There is no other car wash that has such good customer service. I will give more than 100 stars but Google just allow us up to 5 stars.

  • Carlos Hernandez

The owner is super rude and money hungry. He was yelling at people if they didn’t pull up to the door. Water pressure is garbage… probably his way of saving on the cost of water. Also a minimum of 2 dollars which gets you 2min. Complete rip off lead by a money hungry owner. I will never go back there! There are a ton of other better options in the area.

  • Luke Dykstra

There is always a wait, the water pressure is weak, and it’s expensive. There are also much better credit card payment systems out there then the one they are using (which doesn’t supply you a receipt, and you have to guess how long you’re going to take). The facility is however clean and seems to be well taken care of.

  • Marcel Tetrault

Water is warm and has high pressure. Price is reasonable and you can pay with coins, tokens or credit card. It's helpful that the machines display your remaining time. I like that the staff reduces the wait time by making sure people aren't taking forever to dry their vehicle during peak hours.

  • Evan Simard

Overall a nice car wash. The water was hot, but just a little shy in the pressure situation. Foam brush was nice, seemed like decent quality. You have to pay $2 to get it going and then $1 or $2 after that. I used $5 on a great clean for my hatchback, so prices aren't too bad at all.

  • White Lion Athletics

awesome service and fantastic facility! Definitely recommend this car wash as it is clean, has hot water for washing, the brushes with soap are soft and always clean AND CREDIT CARDs are in each bay! No need to carry change :) Great Job! The hours are awesome as well !

  • Peter Bridgeman

I love going to the wave to wash my car. It always comes super clean, especially when I use the foamy brush to scrub everything down. Prices have gone up a bit in the past couple of years, but where haven't they? The wave is still a solid place to get your car washed!

  • Budwin Druid

Loved the place. Inexpensive and found it better than Automatic Car Wash because you are the one making sure your car is clean. It takes a moment for first-timers to figure out how it works and I didn’t find any associate over there but the process is simple.

  • Dino

Very good place to wash your car. Much better, cheaper and safer to wash it yourself instead of going through automated washers . This place also have a cash change machine as well as the coin dispenser which accepts credit cards. Highly recommended.

  • Sidney Fung

Clean, professional and easy to use self-service car wash facilities. Excellent customer service too! I lost my wedding ring while washing my car a few days ago. The staff there found it and kept it for me. What an experience and thank you guys!!

  • Kevin H

Go here every time id wash my car. Facilities are good, but now it costs $1 a minute. That being the case, it costs pretty close to the same as a nearby full service carwash. Probably wont be returning unless the time is extended per dollar.

  • E Visperas

My husband usually go to this car wash location. However, last time was quite disappointing because the coin machine ate the toonie and would not start. Nobody was around to help. He had to put in another toonie and luckily it started.

  • luckeycat

Pretty good carwash. I had a ford E350, not sure anything larger would fit. Takes coins and card which is nice. Good pressure and soap, the brush is a good one. Overall peeled a week of driving, bugs and grime off without any issues.

  • Alex Will

Fairly standard wand-wash from what I could tell, but the stations have the option for coin-op AND debit/credit tap for convenience. I've always hated having to make change to get my car washed, so I'll definitely be returning here.

  • Shaker M

Money doesn't last like it used to. The time has been changed from 11pm close to 10pm. They need to not be greedy with letting people dry their cars if bays are available. Been going to this wash for 18 years but done for now.

  • Gerry Proteau

Typical car wash with pay by tap. This was first exposure to pay by tap as my regular car wash west of Winnipeg use only coins or tokens. Tokens are a pain in the arse. The wash cycles at this car was seem shorter than others.

  • Rey Ray

The car wash bays are spacious especially for my pick up truck. The payment system of tapping your visa is very convenient. For a minimum $2 you'll get few minutes of wash. I usually spent $8 for a perfect clean inside out.

  • Shane M.

Like digital boxes and option to use CC. Always keep bays clean and have never had a problem with equipment not working. Would like to no more about brands of soaps and waxes they use. Could use 1 outdoor wash station.

  • Steve

The bays and equipment are well-maintained, and digital timers show you how much wash time you have left. Soap amount and water pressure are good. Peak times can be very busy, but they are open late

  • Chad Friesen

love it, has really hot water, great wax setting and tire/engine bay cleaner. brush is also really nice and hasn't left a scratch on my car yet. it is also very clean and maintained through the day

  • Mr Strength

I absolutely love this car wash and have been going here for years. Excellent machines that take CC or coins, pressure is good and cost for time is reasonable. Always clean and rarely smells.

  • Anmol Badwal

Overall car wash is good! But never use the air hose part, I paid specially for it and found out it wasn't having a good amount of pressure to wash off the water from the car. …

  • Richard Reimer

Have been going to this car since it opened many years back. Still nice and clean inside, good soap brush and rinse off. Price had gone up in time spent washing. Guess that's the norm.

  • Michael Sparks

A good car wash. Clean and convenient. 2 dollar minimum so beware. Can some time be a line up at high time. Weekday mornings are a best bet. $8 cleaned a black sorento so I'm pleased.

  • Gurdeep Singh

They really need to increase the amount of wash time! At least increase the duration because it’s not as clean as another car wash (in South Winnipeg) that’s even more cleaner.

  • Nathan Simon

It's a busy place, you can tap your visa so you don't mess with coins, but it is a bit more per minute than some other places... Still good spray, good wax, I'm good with it!

  • Barry Ho

Great car wash, been going there since it was new. Owner nice. Equipment top notch. Sad that no unpaid drying time even when it is slow with open bays.

  • Wornick Price

Great place to give your car a good rinse. Water is always nice and warm, lots of soap in the mix and they accept tap payment, no need for tokens.

  • Андрей Табинский

Тhe soap today was not effective enough. Had to use twice. The vacuum cleaner is weak. The nozzle is one and not suitable for narrow places.

  • Shayane Petrorossi

Be aware of how much time you are getting. Twice I paid for $2 and only got 1:52 minutes. They are stealing away. Not coming back.

  • Gundybacon

Everything about the car wash was good, new terminals are easier to use. Payed for 4 minutes for 4$ and the time started at 3:40.

  • Jason Everett

Place was nice and clean, pressure and soap was good, wish though that they had spot free rinse as a selection. 5 stars

  • Rhonda C

Good prices for self serve car wash. Meter doesn't begin until you put in the coins. Parking available to hand dry.

  • AK M

Nice and convenient with all your car wash needs.. would recommend to anyone to come and clean their cars.

  • Don Sommerfield

Great water pressure I can wash my GMC truck for $6.00 Better then spending $$17 at automatic car wash

  • MIKE Dinko

Great spot to suds up the whip. Very large and oversized vehicles don't work at this wash.

  • Danny Smith

Easy in,easy out.. Very clean facility. $6.00 got me washed and rinsed.. I'll be back...

  • BARTEK MEDES

Really good place to get a wash, has debit tap aswell.

  • Aj Boughen

Very expensive and no hot water , stay away.
