I advise anyone booking with this firm online to read their cancellation policy most carefully. My experience was I booked online from Saturday 1200 until Monday 1200 was quoted £59.76, and paid online by debit card. Four days later I needed to add an extra day, Friday, making the booking from Friday 1200 until Monday 1200, alas, the website told me I had to cancel and rebook, which I did. The new price quoted was £118. I thought this exorbitant for just an extra day. I surfed the net and found Budget would give me the three days for £59. I have not contacted the firm because their cancellation policy is plain for all to see, and believe it would be extra expense and a waste of a telephone call. However, it was their website that told me to cancel, therefore, I believe this practice is unethical. As for a refund, I will not hold my breath.

Best customer service I have ever had anywhere. Chantel went far above and beyond normal service expectations to work with us on a car return. We were driving from the Highlands of Scotland to Liverpool when we realized the Thrifty office closed earlier than expected and we would miss the return time and take us into a bank holiday weekend. Chantel took our call and after we explained our misunderstanding and dilemma, she offered to meet us at our hotel to process the return after normal business hours, which she did. When we arrived not only did she process the return but she also offered some pointers on Liverpool I can’t imagine renting from anywhere else. I just wish there were more Chantel’s

This car rental company and staff are simply the best. I have rented from other car rental companies in Liverpool on several occasions and never have received service like this. Chantel is an absolute credit to your company. She was so helpful throughout the rental and i am very pleased I found this place! I just wish more car rental companies had more Chantels because she is an absolute delight! Also thank you to warren for organising my rental over the phone! Tried to book a car with them what a waste of time. Website wouldn’t take my payment so phoned them and they didn’t seen interested at all instead of trying to take payment just kept going on about update browser and correct name and address. Went with Hertz instead booking and payment went through first time without a problem. Wouldn’t use these jokers again.

Good afternoon we were given a vehicle as ours was being repaired 2 gentleman dropped the hire vehicle off very friendly and professional I have spoke to Jackie on a couple of occasions very friendly and helpful Called to return the vehicle and she offered us a lift back to the garage to retrieve our car great service couldn't fault nothing

It is a little pricier than other options but really pleased with the service. I returned with a little chip and they managed to get it repaired for just 45quid. This is the second time ive used thrifty and happy both times
