I went for a testosterone injection today, the nurse did not sanitize before injecting me nor was she wearing gloves, is this not standard protocol even without covid-19?! When I mentioned washing her hands she asked me what is wrong with me? People are over reacting to this virus? I said I have a weak immune system and you should be sanitizing before and after seeing a patient,on top of that she said she helped a sick patient outside before me !!!!! Ignorance is not bliss and I am very angry about this behavior, it's outright dangerous! Reply : Hi David, I did not see your calls due to the notoriously  bad signal in my area. Health workers such as your nurse on duty are at the front line of any outbreak response and as such are exposed to hazards that put them at risk as well as patients to infection with an outbreak pathogen (in this case COVID-19 PANDEMIC ) as such they must assume overall responsibility to ensure that all necessary preventive and protective measures are taken such as (IPC ) Infection prevention and control to prevent or control the spread of any infections/virus in healthcare facilities, IPC is a universal discipline with relevance to all aspects of healthcare to ensure that no harm is done to patients, visitors or staff and prevent pathogenic (disease-causing) micro-organisms to be transferred to susceptible patients such as myself with low immunity By taking the logical precautions with PPE supplies (masks, gloves, goggles( you have protective screens for staff in the front right ),hand sanitizer, soap and water, cleaning supplies) as patients are asymptomatic yet still carry the virus. I waited a good 5 minutes for the nurse while she helped another customer outside her rooms touching numorous products on your shelves. Once in her rooms the nurse; 1.Did not wash her hands even when asked, instead said what is wrong with me ? People are overacting to the virus? And fyi she doesnt think sanitisers are any good nor 2.Did not wear protective gloves as a precaution. 3. Did not even wipe the top of the testosterone  bottle with a alcohol swap before Injecting when I mentioned this to her she said never mind? I know for a certainty that I asked who she helped before me and she said a sick lady outside whom she did not want to bring in. You did not provide me with the best service or make my safety a priority. Many people are asymptomatic and won't show symtoms let alone a high temperature hence the utmost due diligence must be adhered with every client, especially those with compromised immunity. COVID-19 has a incubation period of up to 14 days! Even before covid-19 other nurses in other pharmacies wore gloves, sanitised and cleaned the top of the testosterone bottle with a alcohol swab before injecting. I'm not sure if the issue is a result of poor training, management or willful ignorance but I will not be using your services again. Regards Rafael

It’s not often in this day and age, does one meet such caring professionals in a retail store. Whether it’s a product off the shelf or engaging with the pharmacist, you will be looked after with wonderful sincerity. I also use their clinic for my monthly booster jab, love the resident sister who I’m sure, reluctantly laughs at my jokes. Although their cosmetics and cologne/perfume choices are extensive, my favourite is the gift store at the back. You’ll find gems, only one of a kind displayed. However, the real “find” are the cookbooks, I’m a chef by trade. BTW, I have no affiliation, business or otherwise, with this pharmacy, just love going there.

Your extended shopping hours, open 365 days make you a pharmacy of choice but your service makes you a pharmacy of excellence. Got there with a script from the Dr for my child, the pharmacist on duty told me he has something else, I explained that I don’t want to change what the Dr prescribed as the meds are for a very serious condition, he assured me that it’s still the same thing, just different company” trust me Ausi” he said. When I got home I called the Dr”a office to check if that meds is ok, he said no and it won’t be effective on the child. The service I received was very good. I got assisted by Vuyani who was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved.
