I had a Terrible Experience with the Post Office Clerk that I worked with. I visited the Post Office to do some returns and to refuse delivery of a package that was shipped to me. I told the postal clerk specifically that I did not want to sign for the package because I wanted to refuse it to have returned to the sender. The Clerk then Argued with me going back and forth. Stating that I know you want it returned to the sender but you have to sign for it. I explained to her that it did not make sense for me to have to sign for something that I wanted to refuse. 2 hours later I checked the Tracking # it showed the package was Picked Up by me but I did not have the package, I left it at the Post Office to be returned to the sender. This cause me a Huge Issue because I need it return to the sender so I can get a refund. This was a Huge Problem so I had to take off work to go back to the Post Office for assistance with this package, again. Keep in mind I had originally visited this branch and requested to have the package returned on 08/04/2022 but it wasn’t returned. I called Customer Service and Opened a Case to have it returned but it was still sitting at the Post Office. When I arrived at the Office for the second time on 08/13/2022 there was no one at the front to assist customers. Me and other customers were waiting for like 10 minutes stating “Hello is anyone there?” The same clerk I had the issue with Shameka came out with a very Bad Attitude. She did not Apologize or Show Any Empathy for having multiple customers waiting 10 minutes with no one at front to assist. She simply stated with an Attitude “What do you need?” I explained that we’ve been waiting 10 minutes with no one in front and she has an Attitude with me. She argued with me was Very Rude, Disrespectful, and Very Professional. This type of Behavior is Unacceptable for someone working in Customer Service. I had to speak to a Supervisor to correct the mistake that she made because I was not suppose to sign for the package to refuse delivery like I told her. She was suppose to just use the scanner to scan and have it returned. This has cause me a lot of Stress, cause me to Take Time off work, and the Clerk humiliated me by Arguing with me in front of Multiple Customers from a Mistake she Made and all the issues she has caused me. Her Behavior was Unacceptable and No Customer should have to go through the Rude Behavior, Bad Attitude, and Unprofessionalism that I have face Multiple Times at this Post Office from 2 different clerks.

Why is it so hard for your carriers to wait two seconds for outgoing mail?! Whoever is delivering to our establishment has no problem dropping/dumping our incoming mail into our front desk window, but when it comes to getting our outgoing mail, theyre gone. And this is clearly done on purpose as whoever this person is, clearly does not care to bother picking up our mail. We could literally be standing nearby with our backs turned to the window, which is always open, and they will not alert us or ring the front desk bell to simply ask us to hand them the outgoing mail. I know that your carriers are on a tight schedule, but I HIGHLY doubt that sparing a measly two seconds to tap a bell would be a huge waste of time. I’m sorry to rant on in a negative review but this is starting to seriously affect our business! We have had several major vendors put holds on our accounts and even show up to our office in person, accusing us of not paying them because our checks are taking so long to get sent out! And by the time they are received, they’re considered past due because they’ve taken so long to get mailed! This is honestly ridiculous! We don’t have enough people in our office to be able to send someone to the post office every day or scout around for a drop box And it is costing us an arm and a leg to have to constantly priority overnight our mail via fedex shipping! We’ve literally had outgoing mail sitting in our box since Wednesday of last week! We’ve been complaining to you guys about this issue for a whole year just about and every time we do, you fix it for one to two days, then go back to not caring. I’ve done everything in my power to get this resolved; I’m talking signs, constant phone calls, calling the corporate office—nothing works and no solution is offered. This is hands down the worst service I’ve ever seen.

UPDATE: STILL the laziest bunch of people I have ever met. Grade A lazy. Refused to pick up my package in my mailbox with the red flag up. The manager on duty told me I had to schedule a pickup. I had a package that needed to be shipped TODAY and because they skipped my house, I had to take work off early and drive to the post office. Still inconsistent mail delivery, different mail person every day and they still deliver my mail to the wrong address. Really picked from the bottom of the barrel hiring these people. Original: Wish I could leave less than one star. There’s a complete lack of work ethic at this location. My old post office would go above and beyond to get my packages delivered to me on time. If I came in in the package was at that location they will go in the back and find it and give it to me. This location will not do that. Also they have failed to deliver my mail several times and returned it to the original sender. Sometimes going back internationally and never been seen again. Sometimes the people the front desk or helpful but most the time they’re completely lacking any willing to help you. Today - Nov 22, 2017 No attendant at the counter. We have been standing here for 7 mins and no one has come to the counter. Someone even rang the bell and no one has shown up. July 25, 2018 One postal worker working again today. There were 6 people in line and never requested additional help. Took 15 mins to ship one $19 flat rate box. I want to support the USPS but they are making it impossible. I'll be using ups or fedex from now on. Also... a letter has been sitting in my mailbox for 3 days now. Our postal worker for the neighborhood just drives by our house.... Good old government workers.

Debbie tried to charge me $3.50 for a package that only cost $1.00 to deliver. She indicated that the additional charge was because I wrote the words “Please, do not bend or fold” on the envelope. I told her to scratch it off, lol....then the price was miraculously reduced to $1.00. Be careful folks...don’t get hustled by the post office workers here. I was also promised that a package would be delivered in two days if I paid the additional charge for priority. The clerk went on to explain that the package would be air lifted guaranteeing that it would get there, but if I paid the lesser amount it wouldn’t make it on time...this is another hustle. When the package didn’t make it as expected, I tried tracking it, but the computer wouldn’t give any information. I went into the post office....Debbie said there was no guarantee that the package would be delivered in two days. She said it would be there tomorrow....better yet, there is no guarantee, but it’s in the vicinity. How can you pay for 2-Day, but the package mailed early Thursday may or may not get delivered by the following Tuesday? The hustle here is that they promise you so much insurance, but who cares about insurance that you’re going to get fought tooth and nail on using if your package comes up missing? I could have driven my package to MI and returned back to N.C. for a lesser hassle, no LOL...ok, LOL! On top of all that, this location is very intense....someone ALWAYS has a bad attitude. What ever happened to kind, quality service? Apparently, the staff at this location is incapable of offering that. Have a great day, folks....don’t let the workers at this location get you down!

If your delivery is serviced by this location, I highly suggest signing up for Informed Delivery. That way you can see what you are *supposed* to get as opposed to what lands in your mailbox. I have had more issues with the mail since being serviced by this office than I have in my entire adult life. Packages have been marked as delivered while I was home but no USPS driver was in sight - and they were unable to locate them. My voter registration was denied because it was marked as un-deliverable twice, despite my having been at the address for 5 months. Benefits information from work has never shown up and letters from family don't arrive. Certified mail delivery isn't even attempted - the "Sorry! We missed you..." notice is just jammed in the box without the driver even making any effort to see if someone is home. The one time someone from the branch contacted me to address concerns, they couldn't have been more disinterested. It's the stereotypical "postal worker" attitude that I know isn't shared by all employees, but it seems those bad apples have just gathered in this one location. Given that there's not really any alternative, all you can do is keep an eye on what you're supposed to get and report all your missing mail in the hopes it will someday arrive. Best of luck to you. Update: Unfortunately, I can't remove any stars from this review. The same problems continue to happen - packages delivered to the wrong address, letters that - according to the USPS Informed Delivery site - are supposed to arrive, never do.

Horrible customer service! I came in to OVERNIGHT a birthday card, I’m holding 2 envelopes asking what envelope is appropriate she hands me a form to fill out and quickly invites another customer to her service desk, I have more questions about the service, she responds with agitation acting as if I’m being rude and in this uncomfortable exchange she informs me that it might take up to 2 days to deliver, she can tell me for certain if I provide her with a zip code, OVERNIGHT SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE! You should have provided me with full service by asking for my zip code in the first place before servicing another customer and talking to me in an ugly manner as if I don’t deserve respect and am being rude by asking follow-up questions, why are you already servicing another client bf you could provide a full service to me??!! Who’s the rude one here??!!! This is not the first time I came to this store and got rude service and passive-aggressive behavior! You’re not doing me a favor, you’re in service business - provide a service! This type of service deters people from using your services, you are loosing customers! Post office in general stragglers with decent customer service as is, and I rather pay $10 more for dissent human interaction and superior customer service elsewhere, also on time delivery, and no missing packages! I don’t recommend Post Office for your shipping needs as the customer service is nonexistent, and more likely they will lose your package!

The mail person sucks. The flag will be up yet she will place new mail on top of mail that is not ours. I have had to go and stand by my neighbors mailbox across the street to get her to take mail back that is not ours. Thats after she put the flag down and left it. I also have a list of names taped to my mail box door with names of individuals who live here. Their manager told me to do this to keep the carrier from putting mail that do not belong in my mail box. She had the nerve to look at me evil like when I politely said "Hi, this mail isn't ours, I was just bringing it back to you" and handed the mail back to her. She just looked at me for some odd seconds then took it out of my hand and tossed it by her front window and drove off. This past Thursday some IRS mail and important SC State mail came to our address for two individuals I have never heard of. Been living here 5 years. Given the importance of the mail you would think she took it out. No, its still in my mailbox today. She has dropped mail off everyday except Sunday and that mail is still there. I have camera's in my yard and around my house. She never took the mail out. She put the flag down and placed new mail on top of it. Now I am calling to report her but its taking an hour just to speak with someone.

Unfortunately for me, I have to receive my mail through this location although the Beatties Ford location is closer. Not sure if it is better or not, but after 2 years of the worst service ever, I would be willing to try. There is not enough space or time today for me to articulate just how much I abhor this post office. I had a Godfather who gave 30 plus years. He would be appalled at the poor quality of service at this location. They are inept and unprofessional. On the off time I did not have a personally bad experience, I witnessed other customers being handled in a manner that is unacceptable. I know I may seem vague, but the thought of going into the attitudes the miscommunication or lack of concern to say the least makes my head hurt. I have lost about $60 due to packages being delivered that I specifically requested be held. I have watched a man wait in line from 4:45 until 5 to be told when it is his turn that he will have to come back because the worker did not feel like doing all that was required for his transaction. I cannot believe they are still standing and with some of the same workers that should be let go. I NEVER write Google reviews but I saw in passing the other many 1 star comments and had to add. If you can avoid this location, please do.

Have lived at Residences at Brookline Apartments for over 20 months now. I’ve had to wait until after 3 pm or later to get my mail. In comparison to other areas that I’ve lived in Charlotte that’s ridiculously late. Over the last two weeks I now have 4 packages missing and postal lady offers no help. I got the “you’re on your own” attitude. USPS office claims they’re investigating my missing packages claim. Have yet to get a call from supervisor. Called apartment leasing office and they have stopped receiving USPS packages because of so many missing packages that are marked as delivered and they weren’t delivered that they have filed a complaint too. Called the Customer Care # only to have to speak to 3 different agents. Online claim form isn’t working. Service ticket submitted for that too. USPS does nothing to actually help. Instead I have to keep waiting to get claim form by mail, then fill out by hand, pay to mail claim forms to USPS and THEN wait 30 days to hopefully be compensated fully for missing items. Right now I feel the USPS is slack overall, lowered their hiring standards, and could care less to actually really help and protect our packages. Is it worth insuring packages? That’s yet to be determined. Hassle x 1,000…yes.

If I can rate this post office ZERO stars I would!!! I hate that I live in this district! Every time I order a package online and it is delivered through USPS this post office place my package into a broken parcel locker at my apartment complex! I’ve been trying to get my package since Thursday and today is Saturday. The manager “Shaneka” is no help. I asked her to call a Carrier and request my package to be removed from the parcel box since their boxes are faulty and simply sit the package outside of my door which is directly beside the mailbox. She stated no I’m going to have my carrier check all of the parcel boxes and if she finds any packages, I will direct her to leave them at the leasing office. I’m like what do you mean if she finds a package? I requested her to Please inform her carrier of my direct address & parcel locker to remove my specific package, but she stated she can not do that. I called the consumer affairs office and left a message because I’m tired of going through the same thing every time I decide to order items! Hopefully they will be able to resolve this issue immediately on Monday.

I have not had many issues with the staff in the post office (I try to spend very limited time there) but I do have a major issue with our mail lady at my apartment complex. Unfortunately I do not know her name but she delivers to Brookline Apartments at 4pm every evening and moves at her own slow pace. She gave me a nasty attitude as she was discarding mail into everyone’s boxes when I asked her if she had my package (I was already running late for a flight but could not leave until I had the package as it contained a very important document I needed for my travels). She refused to give any information and treated me like scum; I ended up missing my flight and when I went to check my mail an hour later, she indeed did have my package. I’ve also found other peoples unowned mail in the garbage can by the mailboxes and I am very suspicious of her throwing away peoples mail, most likely because they no longer live at the address anymore, which is against federal law. I am very disgusted with this woman and I opt out of ever having anything mailed to me from now on because I DO NOT TRUST HER!

This post office is not a safe place to mail your Christmas cards. I went there and mailed three Christmas cards with gift cards inside to family in another state I did not buy stamps because I had stamps on the envelopes I just went to the counter to have them weight to make sure they didn’t need any more postage. I handed them to a women (white women ) with short dark hair she said one envelope needed another $.15 cents so I gave it to her and then I trusted the cards to be put in the out going mail. Well two cards never got delivered and one envelope was but it was without the gift card. So someone opened the envelope took out the gift card and then mailed that envelope. I will never use that post office again. That is unfortunate that we can not trust this post office. And this is not the only time this has happened to me at this office. A couple years ago I had $65.00 stolen from a card that was in the mail threw this post office. Beware and don’t use this post office if you do pay for tracking

Angela, Angela, Angela. She is a terrible person with a bad attitude before you can even reach the desk for service. She spoke to everyone with attitude including the elderly people. Other employees just sit and laugh and entertain her bull. She overcharged me as well and didn’t give me another option when I asked. $28 for a piece of paper to be overnighted within 3 days or so .That’s wayyy to much . I see others have complained about her months ago even a year ago. And she is still working at this location. Have reported her to the hire ups and all recently. She need to be fired immediately. I felt threatened and violated and so did others. The whole post office needs to new workers. Years up under their belt for the company doesn’t mean a thing. No wonder why this place has a low rating. Hire new employees and get rid of them all. Jesus Christ. Telling ppl that things are their problem. All they did was ask a question. Don’t go there for business everybody. I repeat !!!!! You have been warned.

An embarrassment of a post office. Twice, I have left for vacation and placed my mail on hold correctly online and twice they have delivered mail to my address while I was gone. Last time, they delivered someone else's mail to me on the day it was scheduled to end, meaning they held someone else's mail the whole time I was gone just because it had the same street address and zip code as mine in a neighborhood miles away. I get other neighbor's mail at least once a month. They routinely neglect to pick up packages I schedule for pick up, forget to deliver packages when dropping off mail in the box until much later in the day. This office has different drivers all the time who blame other drivers because it was their day off. Some drivers aren't bad, some are excellent at what they do, but having as many issues as I've had since our older carrier retired 4 years ago is more than anyone should have to deal with. I am not the only one in our neighborhood and on my street having these issues.

Update: My last 4 pacages ended up missing. One for 3 days. Unexceptable. Once again my package is missing. This has happened 10 out of 10 times. I dont understand. I get all my packages from other companies even UPS, but if usps is used it's always missing and I no longer believe it has anything to do with budget cuts. Everytime I contact them the package is still in transit after I was told it was out for delivery. Then they tell me the address is missing. When I tell them I'll come pick it up the address is on there plain as day. Update: 2 years later and same problem with everything I order. Guaranteed if it says out for delivery, you will get a notice saying they attempted to deliver but had no access. At a certain time they don't even bother. 14 hours to deliver a package from a post off ice that's 5 minutes away. Item have come all the way from Canada faster. This post office might as well not even exist. Someone should investigate this office.

Stopped by this post office to pick up about 4 packages from Amazon. My info from Amazon stated that my packages were ready. Went the front and told them that I had a package to pick up. Travis (the worker up front) asked for my PO box, and I told him which number I had and he told me that they didn't have a package. I said wait, "it says here that it was delivered 4 days ago. And my PO boxes are empty. When do you all send packages back?" He said idk, 10 days." I said ok well my package was delivered Monday. He said "well that's between you and Amazon." Travis was NO help at all. I checked my phone for my packages and asked again about the amount of days just to make sure and he said, " I told you 10 days." At that point I had to walk away and ask for a manager. The manager asked for my info and then later told me that there was a minor mix up and they had my package. I told her that Travis was not helpful and thank you for her help.

This post office needs to be investigated. I Had an high priced item sent to me in the mail in which I don't know why the company used the USPS to deliver it in the first place but nevertheless they miraculous lost it. Haven't had no luck with the 1800 number or local number in which the 1800 number keep making excuses of what could of happen and the local number just don't answer their phone, it just rings. Item was out for delivery yesterday morning at 6:10 a.m and it remain the same status up until 12:00 a.m. this morning now it says waiting on delivery scan. I really do believe theft is involved. I suggest if you have anything to be delivered go with another carrier even if it means spending more money which will be worth it because the post office especially this post office is a nightmare and I do believe they are stealing peoples packages.

  • Melissa Jett

The only consistency with this post office is that they ARE going to give your mail to the wrong address. It's not a matter of if, it's when. You cant call them. It's an 800 number. You have to go in person. Which if you work normal business hours is impossible. Forget getting a call back about your package. Its not happening. Thank god I have honest neighbors that twice a week meet up in the parking lot to exchange packages. I'm not kidding. It's seriously that bad. I think the mail carriers cant read or honestly dont care. They just shove it in a box and keep moving. After numerous complaints it doesnt seem that the management of the facility is in a hurry to change things either as I've had these issues for the 10 years I've lived here. If you're in this area god help you, because this post office wont.

  • Leeann S

This post office is very convenient to my house if I have a prepaid shipping label, otherwise I must go elsewhere. They typically also run out of seasonal stamps very quickly. Generally the staff are friendly, but the biggest drawback is there is no self service shipping station that weighs your package and prints your label. Also the drop boxes are not large enough for square packages over 6.5 inches tall. Priority flat rate 12x11 boxes barely fit. Update: I've noticed that some packages are not consistently getting scanned. I dropped packages off inside on a Sunday at 12noon and the weren't scanned until I called customer service and the local station to inquire. It took another 24 hours for my packages to be found and scanned. Something seems off about this and it's not the first time.

  • Helga Holmes

Horrible I am trying to get my package for almost 4 days now. They needed a signature and the slip was at my door with my signature. 4 days later I received a copy of the slip stating that they are sorry they missed me. If you butt would have delivered it to my apartment you would have seen the slip and I would have had my package. Also the opening hours are horrible. People work usually from 8 to 5 and I need to take time off to pick up my stuff. Ridiculous......I rather pay more and go to UPS, FEDEX or any other place than the US Postal Service. This is not the first time this happen, there delivery service is depending if the person wants to deliver or not. Once you at the actual post office to pick up your items, people complaining all over the place. Wow.......really

  • Stephanie Butler

The absolute worst post office I’ve ever dealt with. Been at this address for 4 months. Over Christmas the apartment office didn’t accept packages for 2 weeks and directed everyone to leave it at the door - my packages were sent return to sender without ever attempting to be delivered. We’ve continued having problems ever since - either packages are sent back due to “no such number existing” or we don’t get mail for days - not even junk mail. We’ve had mail sent back for various reasons which weren’t valid - including bills, which would have been bad if we couldn’t see what we owed online. Now I’m waiting for a packages that went out for delivery on April 5 and I still don’t have it. Some packages that were returned in January still haven’t made it back to the sender.

  • Derek janney

This postal office is the worst I have ever had to deal with. The entire staff is rude and very unprofessional. I walked in to speak with someone and one of the employees behind the counter was yelling, "I am going on lunch and I am not helping anyone else before that." I almost at that point walked out but I had problems to attend to for my residents. I have dealt with several offices in the past since I work in the business of providing residential homes. Ms. Hall refused to allow mail to be delivered to the site per her orders. She was very short and uncaring. When I explained to her that my residents were not getting mail she said, It is not my issue." I was in shock at how rude and unprofessional she was. I have filled a formal complaint with the postmaster.

This is the UNITED STATES postal service right? Not some rinky dink small business. So according to their own automated system, AND google… They are supposed to CLOSE @ 5 right ? I and a few others walked in there at 430pm (all i needed were 2 stamped envelopes), and the lady told us they arent accepting anymore people. Whaaaaat? I HAD to had these things mailed that day. What a huge inconvenience. Thank GOD i made it to the usps off Westinghouse during rush hour bc i KNOW they are professional and would take care of me as they did. It makes no sense to stop accepting people at 430 when youre supposed to close at 5. Even if this is the case… HAVE A SIGN OUTSIDE so people can stop wasting their time coming inside the building. This was very annoying

  • Pink Suga

Terrible Post Office! If I could give it a negative star rating I would. The people here from the supervisor to the desk clerks are so unhappy with their life and careers it's terrible. Like go find another profession. I hate that I have to deal with them. When I visit another post office location just to mail packages off providence road they are so nice, but this one here... is my designated location to deliver my mail so my suggestion, if you have to go here to do any kind of business pertaining to your personal mail, gear up and be ready to fight because they aren't there to help you they are that to make your life miserable. Also, AND they delivery our mail at like 9-10pm at night... terrible terrible terrible!!!

  • Clare Henty

Would give zero stars if I could. Have used this post office 4 times, it's not my local but near family. 50% unsuccessful delivery and waste of money. Never go to this post office if you actually want your package to be delivered safely. First instance they sent me a letter that my media mail wasn't media. Package was opened and it WAS media. No-one would except they had sent the letter or disallowed the media rate. My post office was confused, but never got back to me either. Wasted money! Last week packages dropped off inside building, as mail person sailed past mail box without collecting! Two packages were not scanned in, no tracking updates. Where are they? They don't answer the phones either.

This was surprisingly an pleasant experience since reading most of the reviews of this establishment. Wow. Just happy I got the pleasant experience and not what I read about. My sister and I actually got Debbie to help us and she was very pleasant. She was connecting with us and inquired about where the package was going too since this was a significant destination. Very important to us. My sister didn’t mind her inquiring about the location. Being from New York City and highly knowledgeable about five star customer service standards I would suggest these employees to be consistent cause they do understand five star customer service. They really need to execute consistently.

Recently moved to this area and within 3 weeks I already had 4 issues with them. They misplace packages and letters and checked them as delivered so you cant file a claim. Last thing that was missort was a toy for my 8 weeks old and when I went to this place, Aisha, the supervisor was not interested in helping whatsoever. She did not seem to care. She said that my claims were gonna be denied cause it was marked delivered. She said that the carrier was off and when I went back home the carrier was by the apt complex. A guy before me lost an expensive package and who knows if they even stole it. Avoid this service if you life in this district.

If I was able to request a different location handle me mail I would! I am an old fashion hand letter lover so send and receive lots of mail...for 3 days I've had letters to go out in my mailbox with the flag FULLY up but the mail clerk just keeps putting new mail on top AND never takes my out going mail! Many days they do not even come at all! Tried calling this location, waste of time as the phone just rings and rings until it hangs up. Don't even try going in, they will be rude and disrespectful. I know it's a pandemic and there's lots of mail but please if you're putting mail in, take the outgoing mail out first....thanks.

  • Sean Dougherty

Absolutely awful experience. The lady at the Sunset Road post office was beyond rude. She was top 3 worst customer service. I cannot believe how she treated me. Constantly spoke heatedly over me. I was not given a chance to speak nor ask questions. IF I got a question asked she didn't answer it. It was clear I was annoying her and inconveniencing her. I'm appalled. All of this in front of other customers. I was calm cool and collected and she treated me like a hostile. I'm still so shocked. I NEVER complain about this kind of thing. The only reviews I write are usually positive. But this was over the top awful. I'm so angry.

  • Jennifer Guberman

They marked a package as delivered over two weeks ago. Still haven't received it, and it was full of gifts for my grandparents. Because they marked it as delivered, I can't file for insurance. Filed a package search instead and called the post office. No help. The number won't even connect you to a real person. Instead, they sent me a survey. Go figure. Also, they never delivered an envelope with a necklace that contained remnants of my wedding bouquet and I'm assuming that's now lost forever. I never had issues with the post office in Huntersville, but this post office is absolutely garbage.

  • Ali B

This is where my mail goes before it's delivered to me. My carrier won't always deliver packages if they have to get out of their vehicle. Then they will lie and say they left a note and/or that the street was blocked. I've paid for two-day delivery but can't expect consistent service because of a lazy carrier who has no integrity. There either aren't enough carriers for this route, or the carriers they have are incompetent. I should add that there is a particular "sub" carrier that we in neighborhood dread seeing. We never know who will get our mail, or if we'll have to go pick it up.

1 star is even a joke !!! The mail truck drove down my drive ,stopped in front of my house ,Did NOT blow the horn or anything ,and before I could even get out of my house to meet her ,she literally THREW my package out of the truck window and drove off . She gave me no chance to get my package before chucking it .. What tha''''!!!!!!! She has left my packages out in the rain ,given me other people's mail , she has even left my packages in the grass on my curb ,why not just bring it to my porch ? But out of all those the worst on was hearing my package hit the cement ..USPS SUCKS !!!

  • HM MOB

Original review: Did not find them particularly polite. Update: A year after my first review here is a revision. Rating goes down from 3 to 2 stars (honestly, 1 star would not be unjust). The number of times I have received mail not addressed to me in the past 6 months is not funny. I am not sure what makes it so difficult to deliver mail to the correct address. I have no confidence in this USPS location. On the positive side, sooner rather than later most of the employees will be replaced with robots/computer programs and maybe then they will do some thinking, but only maybe.

  • Tiffany Jacobs

This post office literally has the most lazy people they send out to deliver mail. Sometimes, they're just too lazy to deliver your package. A lot of the time, they don't give you the right mail. When they do deliver the right mail, sometimes, we don't get our mail until 8:30pm. When you call them, they say they'll fix the problem and never do. They're unprofessional and lazy and some people that work there give you attitude. Not everyone there is like this, there are a few good people that work there, but they need to do something about the others. New training or something.

  • mayra barrera

These mail carriers do not care about their jobs. I live in an apartment complex where we have package lockers that deliveries can be placed. USPS employees refuse to place out packages there and instead state that there are no safe locations to drop off the packages. Then on top of that these people are so lazy that they refuse to deliver packages to apartments that are not on the 1st floor. I currently have packages that are sitting at the post office due to their lack of effort. I can’t pick up due to my work schedule and not being able to get there before closing.

  • Kim Davis

This post office is the worse, my packages are delivered to someone else’s home, and I get other neighbors mail and packages. Im tired of being a delivery woman for the post office and yesterday was the last time- Im waiting on a very important package and I track the package and it said it was delivered at 1:15pm in my mailbox (nothing) really this is sad and Im very upset... what if this was medication I needed? I cannot deal with this anymore. Im going to see if I can call the corporate or main office because this must STOP!!!! AND THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE

  • Bridget's Yoak

If I could give this post office zero stars I would. I really think some of the carriers at this office don't even try to deliver the mail. I never get the notices that I received when I have lived elsewhere and there is times where I don't even get my mail it just tells me pickup required when I track the package. Whats the point of delivery service if I always am having to go pick up something. Needless to say the things I am having to pick up will fit in my mailbox, its not like it is a huge package. This office and carriers really need to get it together.

  • Kandra NA

It's been four weeks and I never received my package. It just keeps saying not delivered. Interesting how there was an expensive watch in the package. Just use UPS or FedEx, you clearly can't trust the USPS. Especially this location. I don't understand how this location is open. I thought it was a felony to tamper with/steal someone's mail. 95% of these reviews state their missing mail/package was handled within this location. What is going on and why is this not being addressed? I really wouldn't feel bad if the USPS had to file bankruptcy and shut down.

  • Earl Lake

Not very pleased with how my packages were handled. Had three over-sized packages delivered only to find out they were sitting outside my front door for over 5 hours in the rain. The carrier NEVER rang the door bell, and left the packages sitting on the walkway leading up to the front door fully exposed to the elements. Was only made aware they were delivered when the package originator checked the tracking number and saw they were delivered over 5 hours earlier. It rained all day that day so the precipitation was NOT unexpected. This is unacceptable.

  • Jaylen Ramos

I also live at residents Brookline apartments for a while now and my last 4 packages went missing It’s putting stress on me because I’m losing money not only don’t get me started but the manager didn’t help us at all which is mest up. But look at how many complaints there are on the post office especially in Facebook of the Brookline resident apartments.Overall USPS or the post office is going down hill I’m having to send packages to my moms job it just shows you that there shady and that there stealing packages and that’s on period point blank.

  • BFK

I had a certified letter coming in the mail which was on the informed delivery email I receive every single day. They put a notice in my mail 3 days after I reported never receiving the certified letter. I opted for redeliver as I work from home and I work during their hours of operation. The day of redelivery they did not knock on the door or ring the doorbell. Yet put another notice in the mail that they missed me. Sounds more to me like someone is too lazy to walk an additional 10 feet from the mail box to my door. Such a shame.

  • Earl Nelson

This is by far probably the worst Post Office in America..... I've had at least 10 online orders delivered to wrong addresses and the USPS even varified over the phone via GPS tracking showing where the driver scanned it at the time it was supposedly be delivered to my address, which was ultimately some other address.......How can you not read the numbers on a mailbox and varify that it matches the package addressee.....They deserve no stars actually.......Today 3/20/2017 another package saying delivered is not at my address......

  • Chaz B

It is clear the USPS is having trouble delivering packages, now after Christmas, still late, I went in this location this morning, to pick up my package, that is not being delivered again today, just asked nicely "If I give you a tracking number, can you tell me if it is here?" And got attitude, and excuses as to why I can't pick it up, but confirmation that it was there..well give it to me, or bring it to me please..USPS the worst way to deliver anything since there was ANY other option, except junk mail, that never fails.

  • Jeff Goforth

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Deliveries are not made on time. The carrier will leave a card in your mail box because they are too lazy to put your packages on your porch. When you call and speak with a supervisor, they are not the friendliest. All you get told is I don't know why, we will try to get it back out to you tomorrow. I do know why, they are just lazy and don't feel like they need to do what they get paid to do! Which is leave your packages on your front porch if they do not fit in your mail box.

  • M S

Supposed to open at 8:30. A customer rang the service bell and you could hear a woman yell "Ringing that bell ain't going to help you." from behind the door. She comes out and says she's a supervisor. Others in line told her they are late to open and she throws her employees under the bus saying that are not competent and she can't help the poor service. She continued to make poor comments about her employees in front of a line of customers. The gate was finally opened around 9am.

  • Rho

This is most unprofessional NO customer skills place!!! The girl was so nasty didn't even try to locate my package. The package tried to be deliver on yesterday, she stated that the package had already gone back to the main facility in Charlotte, and they were sending it back from where the it came from . I called the main facility and they said the package was never received in that location at all. It went through this location... Something needs to done about this location!!!

  • Samia Lawrence

I was hoping to pick up a package sent to me 2 weeks ago, that went through this location before it went out for delivery, but when I called to ask them to hold it nobody answered the phone. I called at least 5 times to no answer. By the time I got there it had gone out for delivery. So I had to leave for Atlanta without the gift I had ordered for my moms 50th birthday. Pretty much ruined my entire weekend. All could have been avoided if someone actually answered their phone.

  • Michael Carr

This post office is the worse, my packages are delivered to someone else’s home, and I get other neighbors mail and packages. Im tired of being a delivery man for the post office and yesterday a package i ordered is put as return to sender bc they seem to say my address doesnt exist, even when i call the 1800 number my address is there. Missing meds that was ordered 2 weeks ago so not sure whats going on with that to. Im going to be contacting the post master general.

  • Michelle

My first time visiting this location today. I normally print labels at home but didn't have that luxury today. The clerk Angela was very rude. You cannot give poor service but expect good service in return when you visit establishments. Be kind because you never know how your actions will impact someone else's day. Try being empathetic and imagine how you would've perceived the message had you been the recipient of your own service or better yet you're loved one.

  • joshua Richardson

I've come to this post office for a long time and in the past 6 months this place has become a pain to even get a question answered. Constantly getting worse. Every time there are less and less actual workers doing anything at all. I just witnessed an employee come and spend 8 minutes chatting with the only clerk about her friend only to slow an already ridiculous line down. Poor management is to blame here and there is no other reason. Avoid this one of possible

  • Michael Brown

Went calling they don't pick up the phone they said I Received a package but haven't.They said it was left by my front door.I was outside when the mail lady came and she didn't leave anything outside.I think she delivered it to the wrong house.I track all my package and it said it was outside my the front door.So I been calling but know one answer the phone.Unbelievable someone need to explain something to only if I can get in touch with someone.

  • Bambi M.

I have lived at the same address for 7 years. My neighborhood is completely residential and both my home as well as my mailbox are marked clearly with the appropriate house number. After waiting forever to receive my packages, on the day they go out for delivery, they get diverted and returned to the sender due to there suddenly being “no such house number.” Funny, considering that they still managed to deliver sale ads and junk. What a joke.

  • Nancy Mathis

The clerks are very nice Postman left a very thick and heavy catalog in my box. It was rolled and stuffed in the box so tightly there is no way I could get it out. I left him a note today 12/10/15 that I could not get it out and to please bring it to the front porch. He ignored it. There is precious little room to leave any more mail. PLEASE let him know I am handicapped and I can't pick up my mail every day. 526 Oakbluff Circle 28216

  • Astevia Agnew

Car broke down had it towed to my home, being a former usps city carrier for 8 years I know even on a riding route ,as long as the mailbox is not obstructed, they must get out and deliver your mail , they have held my mail a week, because they don't want to do more than stretch out an arm ,little did they know I have the post master on speed dial , long story short I get my mail tomorrow , lazy mail carriers are the worse! !

  • Cox Cox

Ordered something online, needed it promptly. Chose Priority Express 1 day, 4 days later with 2 rescheduled delivery dates NO PACKAGE. I had to go buy what I had ordered online in a store and spent $120. This is on USPS VERY UNSATISFIED! The best part about it is I have called the location during business hours countless times. The line is always busy or left to ring! I want to speak with the Postmaster for this region.

  • Kae Frazier

The USPS system just seems to be a mess. Deidre (sorry if spelled incorrectly) handled a long line and serviced each customer with Kindness and grace. I truly appreciated her authenticity. However, I cannot hide my frustration with not receiving my package with no concrete explanation to where it is. I will never place an order that uses the USPS mail service again. I will stick to the reliability of Amazon.

  • Missmonaejanellexo

Horrible.... I had a package that was shipped from this facility and never received. It's been 2 weeks and I have gotten no update on the tracking page... a great unconvience they are inflicting. I tried calling over 4-5 times never received an answer. It would ring and ring stop ringing and than proceed to ring. Than hang out out of nowhere. Customer service is an abomination and something needs to be done.

  • Chris S

Terrible attitude from drivers and staff. Tried to call multiple times and got no answer. When you do get someone, they treat you like you have no right to call them. Route driver is no better, tried to ask questions and he pulls a God complex. Threatens to hold all mail like he is the all powerful overloard and my mail is a priveledge and I should be groveling in appreciation to recieve it. Not necessary.

  • Tahisa Johnson Realtor

As I type this review I have been waiting in line for 30 mins just to pick up an undeliverable item and to purchase one book of stamps. This is unacceptable to have 1 employee work the counter, while another employee push paper on a clip board. If ever I need the service of the usps I can count on poor and untimely service. I won't even mention the over 10 customer limit in the lobby during a pandemic.

  • Mandi Sutton

Anytime I call this branch the representative that answers is extremely rude. My mail comes out from this branch & we are constantly having issues with getting specific packages on time. Things are also being marked as delivered when we haven’t received them at all. A couple weeks ago the postman drove into my sons basketball goal, knocking it down without an apology or an attempt to pick it back up.

  • Tei H

Between the MID CAROLINA-CHARLOTTE NC DISTRIBUTION CENTER and being in transit to the the Oakdale Post Office things mysteriously get delayed or disappear. Upon receiving letters and packages you can tell what has been opened and resealed. Once you contact the Post Office with a complaint your mail suddenly is delivered. They do not scan so the exact delivery date can't be tracked. So sad

  • Dr Metal

Always have issues receiving my packages on delivery day. I go to the store early to pick it up, and they tell me that they either dropped the package off at the front office or they the carrier is delivering it. I go back to my apartment later to find out they lied. They are extremely disorganized, and I've actually received packages a week past delivery day. Completely unacceptable.

  • Brandon Wall

They constantly deliver my packages and unknown amounts of mail to any other street with the same house number as I frequently get multiple different streets with my house number. And they don’t know how to answer the phone, when you call more than once, they pull the phone off the hook. Drivers have changed, issues remain, sounds like they need to clean House on their management!!!

  • Veronica Nero

This post office is 1.5 miles from my home. I refuse to go there ever again. They have some lazy people there, one in particular is a Caucasian woman who also has a nasty attitude. Every time I go in their with a package, there is a problem. I've spoken with a manager twice about her. I take that same package to a post office almost 8 miles from my home and absolutely NO problem

  • Sharon Alexander

This is not a safe place to mail any type of greeting card with a money gift. We have mailed several cards here that never reached their destination. In addition, this year I never received my Motor vehicle registration card and sticker. I saw it at the post office through their application but the mail piece never got to me. We had to call dmv and request a duplicate twice.

  • john hess

This post office is absolutely horrible! They are impossible to reach on the phone, their delivery personnel are surly if not outright hostile and they are unwilling to deliver a package if a dog is outside the house even if the owner is outside with the dog. I hope my cat doesn't get loose or I would never get any mail. Almost makes me want to go postal on the postman!

  • E

I had a package that was marked as delivered on August 18th but is no where to be found. It seems as though other residents from Brookline like myself have also had issues with this particular usps losing packages. Now I have to either wait another 2 weeks to receive my stuff that I needed this week, or fight tooth and nail just to get my money back. Thanks a lot USPS.

  • S Robinson

I receive USPS daily notifications and saw that an incoming birthday card was on the way. The daily notifications provides an image of all mail. It never came. I’ve also received my mail open for pre-approval cards in the mail. I live in a complex with locked mailboxes so it was not stolen from my mailbox, it was taken either at the post office or by the mail carrier.

  • Crystal Costanzo

I hate post offices! New Mail Deliverers need to have proper training so they don't lose your mail! Canteen Vending has not gotten their mail in two days nor have they had their outgoing mail picked up in two days. All because the new person has no clue where to deliver it so she leaves it somewhere and no one knows where it is! So unprofessional!

  • mikaila blocker

I’ve been at home all day and i did not get my package because they say no one was there three other people are also here they should learn to knock and for my re attemp delivery i was Home and they did the same thing!! Also i put in my notes to leave it just in case they did it again because i knew i would be Home and they still didn’t listen.

  • Ryan Rankine

Bought a pre paid first class shipping label prior to arrival. I didn't have an envelope so had to buy one there. They were all out of small shipping envelopes. On top of that, they had me buy a entire $4 roll of tape just to attach my pre paid label.... UPS and FedEx have much better customer service, no sympathy for USPS if they fail...

  • Shannon Williams

This is the most unprofessional place I probably have ever experienced. None of the employees seem to know anything about mail. They NEVER answer the phone and after a week of calling, I finally get through to be put on hold for over 30 minutes! The only reason they got 1 star is because there isn't an option to give a ZERO!!

  • Ethan Altmire

The level of incompetence at this place is absolutely staggering. They lose my mail constantly, even my passport. It's pathetic that this place has clearly been troubled for quite some time, but nothing gets done about it. Basically, don't live anywhere serviced by this place unless you enjoy you scattershot mail delivery.

  • Kush Shah

Lost my package that was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. Says 1034am delivery and I have a camera and nobody showed up at the time. Drove 30 mins to be told a supervisor will have to call me to get more information. Of course, the supervisor never called. Even went and met the supervisor. Still no call back.

  • Connie Cuttino

There's one girl who's always on her phone, never acknowledges customers standing in line and has the personality of a rock; I hate when she's up front. There's one other young lady who's always pleasant and helpful I don't know her name but I am gonna find out and let someone know how much she is appreciated!

  • Conchita S

Unbelievable, is all I can say. On second thought, I can say more. This location does not care whether you get your packages or not. They will be condescending to your face even though they people the one that messed up. How do you deliver a package to the wrong mailbox 5 different times. I mean unbelievable.

  • Carlos Vargas

Delivery driver just came to drop off my mail and a box which i ordered some side mirrors. While i was in the living room i heard a bang and the doorbell rang. i looked out the window and i saw the driver running. opened my box and my mirrors have been broken. SMH horrible service and this will be reported.

  • samantha leslie

THE LAZIEST MAIL CARRIERS YOU WILL EVER COME ACROSS. LAZY! They always hold onto my packages for DAYS because they do not want to get out of the truck to drop them at my doorstep. COUNTLESS TIMES I’ve had to approach them about it. Frustrating and dishonest people work at this branch. It’s despicable!

  • Sydney Scott

I shipped a package to a friend on February 25th…it is March 19th and he STILL has not received it. Clerk did not give me a receipt or tracking number (she was rushing people through the line a HOUR before close…) and there is nothing they can do to assist me whatsoever. They told me to just “wait”.

  • Tahira Scales

The mailman is trash! I'm tired of him coming through this small cul de sac and being lazy. If he can't drive all the way around the cul de sac without having to maneuver his little cart then he gets upset. Stop being lazy, it's not going to kill you to have to walk a few inches to the damn mailbox.

  • Allison Allison

This place is garbage. Never a good experience. My package OBVIOUSLY got delivered there and I waited 20 minutes on my lunch great for her to tell me “I can’t find it, I know it’s here but I can’t find it.” So I hope they know if I don’t get it, they need to pay people for the packages they lose.

  • Raquel Imbriano

Rude people I arrived at 5:01 to receive my package and they would not attend me because they were "closed" I explained to them I work all week and they had no type of sympathy. What makes me more mad is the people who delivered the package didn't bother knocking they just left the notice

  • De Nona Paden

Arrived a 5:01 pm, post office personnel would not assist. She continued to pull the rope and there was refusal to assist. It would have taken less than 5 minutes to assist. My package simply needed to be weighed and posted applied. This provided me with an avoidable customer experience.

  • Brent Hamilton

I have my address clearly marked on the top of my mail box HOWEVER I am getting my neighbor mail multiple times in a row and someone else is getting my mail. His mailbox is clearly marked too. NEED to fire the current deliverer for Simpson Road and hire someone who has half a brain.

  • katelyn nicole

terrible! this post office delivers to my apartment and the mail person can never put the right mail/package in the right box. it happens weekly!! you have one job. currently they have two of my packages that were to be delivered almost a week ago with nowhere to be found....ugh

  • Hallie Gaskill

I wasn’t home to sign for a package. When I went to the office to pick it up, they said they aren’t able to locate it. My package that was supposed to be a birthday present is now missing and I have to file a claim. How do you lose a package between a delivery and the office?

  • Ku v H mo ng

These workers aren't workers, but ppl who eat on the clock. They opened at 9 Well supposed to and waiting here 30mins later AS IF we have time to waste. This isn't the first time that's happened. Its sad thr HIGHER up are NOT taking these reviews seriously. A WASTE OF $$

  • Jeremy Dean

Good reliable works that know what they are doing. To many people are stubborn and lazy that I've seen go there when I go it's not that hard people to mail your items especially if it's not your first time in a post office don't be so ignorant and listen.

  • Medialifted Films

Angela and her attitude at the window is the reason this company is getting a continuous 1 star. It’s hard to be pleasant with people and they have attitudes. If you don’t like your job, got to McDonalds. Some of us enjoy our interactions with people.

  • Sharon Ervin

This post office is HORRIBLE!!! I lived in an apt complex for 3 months and never received my mail. I have called 3 times and nothing has been done about it. It clearly has my name in the mailbox and the letter carrier refuses to put my mail there.

  • Jackie Dawkins / White

Debbie Welch makes her on rules on USPS, and applies them to whoever!!! She would benefit from coaching on customer service on rules of postal service. It would be a pleasant experience seeing Debbie treat ALL people equal! Serious concerns!

  • Erin & Mike

Be prepared to wait 30-40 minutes in line. The location is depressing, old and outdated. Nobody seems to be in a hurry, and apparently there is NO internal support to assist when things get busy. Only one person to wait on a line of 50 ppl.

  • Mr. SnoBunny

This particular post office is usually pretty good with face to face customer service. The only thing that gets on my nerves is them never picking up the phone when you call call...that and the fact that the line is busy 9 times out of 10.

  • Maru Chan

I work for a local business nearby. We have asked numerous times for them to make sure that carriers come inside of our building when delivering our mail so that we can give them our outgoing mail. For some odd reason, carriers from this

  • PJ James

This is the worst post office ever. People tell me they send me mail and I never get it. Sometimes the mailman does not come at all. If you call they never answer the phone. Something needs to be done about this post office.

  • danny kek

The employee name Debra was very rude. One form says the guidelines of what you need and she was making things up. I had to go back and forth 5 times. When I came back again another employee only required what I had at first

  • Julie Altmire

If I could leave less than one star, I would. I've never experienced such deplorable customer service. The entire staff is unprofessional and rude. This post office has lost several of my packages without any explanation.

  • Thomas Carota

Been trying to call for a week to locate my package listed as undeliverable, but they don't answer the phone EVER. Good luck. This establishment is the worst service I have seen from a shipping company in my ENTIRE LIFE.

  • mike bradley

Thanks great service from clerk 25 sorry I did not get her name. I needed to ship an empty carton postage prepaid that the ups store could not help me with. She went totally out of her way to resolve my problem thank you

  • Wanda Dupree

I wish there were ZERO stars -- WORST EVER!!! RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DUMB, UNPROFESSIONAL.. I will move just to avoid dealing with this branch! I have never seen a group of people on a JOB and so unwilling to be helpful!
