The delivery person stated my mailbox was full and my package was undeliverable, which was untruthful, I have cluster boxes and my package was a bench. The tracking said I had to come pick it up, which was a huge inconvenience, since I work the same hours as the post office. I had to ask my supervisor for an hour to go get it. I called on the way, and Rhonda was very empathetic and helpful. She said the box will be at the front, and the clerk is aware. I informed her that my navigation says I am pulling up in 2 minutes. When I arrived, the clerk was walking to the back, there was one customer at her window and it was empty otherwise. When she returned, I informed her that I was the lady just on the phone, and can I grab the box and go, she said not until she finished with him (the customer ahead of me) because she needs to scan my box. I said ok, and stood there for 10 minutes while she counted the money in the drawer she had gone to get, and counted the cash the customer had. When it was almost my turn, she asked me if I had my ID, by this time, the line was out the door. I stated that I had been standing there waiting for 10 minutes to get this box, if I go outside to get my ID, I am not waiting on this line. When I returned, the customer that was ahead was finishing, so I walked to the counter with my ID. The clerk made an issue about whether I was next, I said I was and asked if I could get my box, as I should be at work at this time and I need to leave. The clerk then gets rude and said, "I don't care if you have to be at work..." and continues her rant as she goes to the back. The next person to appear is, who I later learned was, Rhonda, asking what going on and if I was next. I explained to Rhonda what happened and had the lady behind me confirm that I was there before her. The other clerk returned, stating I wasn't next, to which I reminded her that she was walking to the back when I came in and only one customer was there. Rhonda said she'd assist me with the scan, and I stated that apparently poor customer service is rampant at this location, which is why I was there in the first place. The clerk said, "Good, don't come here then." I thanked Rhonda for being helpful and professional at her job and the clerk started clapping. Rhonda gave me my box and I was in complete disbelief that any of this is allowed. It's no wonder the rating of this location is a 1 out of 5. Totally unacceptable.

(0 Stars) Customer service by route carriers is GHETTO & NON-EXISTENT. I'm writing this review with the full knowledge that I'll probably experience retribution from my carriers. The mail in my community is constantly mis-delivered despite numerous complaints. Sub (alternate or weekend) carriers will lie & say that packages weren't deliverable if they don't feel like placing in mailbox or delivering to your front door so that the permanent carrier working on Monday will have to do the job that they should have done themselves. I have mail tracking & delivery confirmation & have actually witnessed a sub-carrier on numerous occasions choose not to deliver a letter sized package to my mailbox, & auto-scan or select: Package Not Deliverable (which is then texted directly to me), just to get out of work. Sub-carriers are ghetto, talk (loudly) on phone,-can be heard from a half-block away, leave tracks in your yard, lazy, constantly mis-deliver mail & packages, sometimes don't deliver to the entire neighborhood (or deliver the mail after 8:00 PM), & just plain trifling. I grew up in this neighborhood, & never experienced this for over 35 years until about 2011. This has been going on for YEARS, especially since my previous permanent carrier changed routes or retired around 2016. So many people are willing to work that it seems ashamed that this continues to go on. It's little wonder that the Post Office is nearly bankrupt. The supervisor who answers my complaints only offers lip service, without any real difference in service. I sincerely hate to bring race into this-but I must be honest. It makes things harder for those of us who are minorities in this day & time, trying to make our way in this world & being judged by the low standards of other minorities who are lazy & don't do their jobs well. We pay the high price for your low standards and are unfairly judged because of you. I'm sorry & may God help and forgive me for how that sounds, but I must be truthful-I get absolutely no pleasure from speaking this truth.

I normally have a good experience when coming to do business at this Post Office my main branch I use to take care of my postal needs but today December 3rd 2018 was different. It's Christmas time and I understand that there is more work than normal, we all know this happens every year yet I have been to the Post Office this morning twice and no mail in my PO Box. The 2nd time I came in and I ask when the mail would be out, estimated time of 11 o'clock it was 10 o'clock then so I waited an hour and checked my PO Box no mail. I went back to the desk and someone else told me it would be an hour so that makes 2 hours I've been sitting in my car waiting on mail that I need to get a hold of today. Why wasn't someone working on at least sorting the mail so that when all of the employees that were called to that area to get the mail out could continue to move forward some of this should have already been done, be it my box being served or someone else's. I've worked at the Post Office before and we didn't have issues like this so the fault rest on any employee who could have done more at the time but didn't except for uncontrollable events. You find time to laugh, talk and discuss personal issues even vacation time before the customers so why can't you find time to maneuver around what needs to take place doing your hours of work. What are you willing to do to make it better, being here just to collect a pay check doesn't work for the customers and is not going work very long for you. Even the word of God has something to say about being a good steward over things that have been entrusted to you. At 5 minutes to 12n, 2 pieces of mail received and I ask the question again are they done since I found mail in my Box and the answer was no they have not gone through the mixed mail it is now 12:40 and I'm still waiting to see if the items I'm looking for are here if it doesn't show about 1pm I'll be back at o'dark30.

I saw the terrible rating of this place, but didn't think it could be this bad. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Today, a man with glasses repeatedly yelled (past four other customers including the one right in front of him) at me and an older handicapped woman. He repeatedly yelled they were closed three minutes before their marked hours of operation. This extremely kind, handicapped woman opened the door for me when she thought it was mistakingly locked early. While being yelled at, this innocent woman kept saying she wasn't trying to argue with the USPS employee who continued to berate her. I was baffled and felt so uncomfortable I struggled to respond. I told him I was just trying to drop off mail that was sent to residents no longer living at my apartment, and mail out a military personnel's lost wallet I found at the airport (the airline wouldn't take it) and said I was even happy to pay for postage. After he stopped for 5 seconds in what seemed like an attempt to hear what I was trying to do, he cut me off and just kept yelling the same thing over and over "We're closed. We're closed." Again, three minutes before they actually closed. He begrudgingly took the incorrectly addressed mail, while yelling they were closed before they were closed. He couldn't care less about the wallet that belonged to a member of the army. I'm ashamed this is the 'service' provided by the 'United States' Postal Service. I'm genuinely curious how much time it would have taken to mail this wallet versus the time he took to yell at the two of us in the presence of four other people that were unfortunately subjected to this man. Every patron present was visibly uncomfortable. I've never met such a rude, unhelpful and disrespectful individual and am appalled by the way they handled this while on the clock. I've lost all confidence in this location to handle even the most basic of needs.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this location. I started to open a post office box which I was not able to open the day of because a address verification was needed because I relocated from a different address that was displayed on my driver's license. I was told that it would only take one day for the verification process to take place however that has taken 3 to 4 days to be completed. after successfully getting the address verification, I purchased my PO Box over the Internet in order to expedite by time and receiving my mailbox. Once I arrived at the facility. Due to the unfortunate side of my experience, I then had to wait for the availability of my post office because there have were no keys available for me. There was a woman there by the name of Sheila who was very professional and very helpful. However, other staff in the location that I'm not going to disclose their name we're very rude and very unprofessional. I was told that I will get a phone call once the keys arrived in. During that time I had to visit the post office within normal business hours in order to check my mail. I recall speaking to a gentleman who stated "man I cannot wait till this guy's Keys come in here". I thought that was very embarrassing especially while customers were waiting in line regardless if it was a joke or not. It was very unprofessional. After 2 weeks of having no access to the post office box -whichthat I paid for in advance for 3 months- finally those keys had came in. I politely requested a partial refund for the days I did not have any access to my post office box. Needless to say I was declined per my request. The gentleman stated "we gave you your mail even though we were not supposed to do that but we did that anyway"..... So if you're looking for great passionate customer service? I highly recommend seeking another location because this will be a great let down.

All of the reviews here are true. I have been consistently complaining about this location for the past 4 yrs. I have had my packages STOLEN by the courier (I work from home so I can see when the mail is delivered. They mark packages delivered that never were -- I have had over $600 worth of merchandise STOLEN), they will leave notices that you were not home to deliver a pkg so they won't have to get out of the mail truck. When you leave the notice for redelivery in the mailbox, they won't even pick it up. They just sit mail on top of the notice. Complaining to the supervisor gets you nowhere. I had to file a complaint with the local/regional Post Master General. They claimed they were looking into it but I never got any real resolve, explanation, apology OR reimbursement. They have done nothing at all to clean up this location by way of hiring competent employees and mgrs, couriers with acceptable work ethic and communication skills..nothing. I absolutely hate having to deal with them in any capacity. I see now they no longer list the local phone # (most likely due to the poor service they give as evidenced by their rating and comments made here) which is better than dealing with them directly, but the USPS customer service # has incredulous hold times. I've had to hold for anywhere from 40 mins to over 3 hours. If the location would actually do their jobs I wouldn't have to call at all. My mail would be delivered on time and without issue. If you have a choice, never go here. If it is your local Post Office assigned to the area in which you live, I feel your pain. Please know it will not get better. If anyone reading this is starting a compliant, a law suit, anything by way of recourse please comment. I will join whatever is put together. It is shameful that we have to endure this level incompetency, unprofessionalism and unethical behavior. Absolutely SHAMEFUL.

I just want to start with the fact that this office has such low reviews. It's mostly from a lack of empathy and understanding that the reviews are so negative. John is the best, he is super thorough and efficient and does his best to get you what you need. However, post offices are not a business. They have policies and rules in place, especially during these times with covid. No more than 6 people are allowed in the office at a time to limit contact. Masks are required to enter the building. The reason your package might be taking a while or is stuck at the destribution center is for a huge list of reasons. First, you're not the only package in the building. Not only that but they have a backlog of packages as apartment offices are closed still due to covid. Legally, the mail person can't deliver packages without a safe location owned by the receiver. So there's an incredible back log of packages, especially since this is one of the Charlotte post office centers. On top of this, their responsibility is try their best among a web of policies and rules. No, you didn't get your package within the # day limit? It was returned to sender. I've witnessed John and the other employees spend hours digging through thousands of packages to try to find my tiny box. Once he had spent three hours trying to find it, sweating from running back and forth trying to manage the front desk and dig for packages. He spent the night getting for me and when I came back the next day, he had it waiting for me. These are people doing the best they can with very low wages and all any of these people can do is complain about the smallest inconvenience which is usually at the result from customer error. I have never lost a package with them. Never had a late delivery or a broken item. Thank you everyone in this office for your crazy hard work. You're much appreciated.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I sent out some baby showers invitations at the end of March and the mail person would not pick it up from my box for a whole week so I called my leasing office and placed it into their outgoing box in early April for my shower on May 15th. It gets to the end of April and no one has received anything so I waited 2 hours on the phone to file a claim, so they called once after 5 it was while I was driving home from work so I guess that was my fault for missing the call but they never left a voicemail, tried to call back, or anything . I tried called back to call back over 20 times the phone just rang and rang. Someone picked up once but immediately slammed the phone back down. I went up there 4 times during my work hours and was told a supervisor was not available each time and only they could settle the claim. The 5th time I went there I spoke to a supervisor FINALLY and she told me that she would check on everything, make sure it got picked up but I never heard anything after all that! I ended up letting it go though I really had no other option seeing as if they refused to help me out. I was so nice and understanding to these people never yelled, cursed, and I was even patient so I’m really upset with the “customer service” I received. So long story short some of my family missed my baby shower including my sister and they also missed my engagement thanks to this postal office. Thank you for ruining that moment. I hope I never have to deal with this place ever again because it’s truly the worst post office I have ever been too with the worst attitudes. Just an fyi to the employees I dealt with that had horrible attitudes and customer service...I get not liking your job nobody really does but no one asked you to come get paid so just keep that in mind the next time you want to act like jerks.

The lazy carrier didnt want to come deliver my package so she lied & falsely said "Couldnt access delivery location " on the delivery notes. What this usually means is there is A locked gate or dog or some sort. None of this is the case with me. I am on the phone filing A complaint & will also file A complaint with the Washington DC main office. I cannot stand no lazy workers that do not want to fulfill the duties that I am paying for. I needed my package today bc I am going out of town & the carrier is being lazy & playing games to avoid coming to my place because its further than the mailbox location. This is laziness & its digusting. I am calling in my complaint, emailing DC & sending them A letter. Her name is Sharon. Today is day #2 That the carrier lied & falsified the delivery notes bc she doesn't want to leave the mailbox area & come to my door. I came to post office to file A complaint in person. The supervisor called the carrier & she lied & said that she tried to deliver my package but I wasnt home which was A lie. I need this pckg so I waited again today while she didnt come to my door & falsified notes. This woman has no integrity. Every single time this happens I suggest u all file A complaint & not just write A review so that an internal investigation is conducted bc everyone isn't lying. This post office needs some integrity! She pushed me back an entire 2 days on my travel for not delivering my pckg. The supervisor called me to come pick it up which defeats the entire purpose of my paying for shipping & handling & they will refund me after I'm done sending certified letters & requesting an internal investigation on this lazy unethical integrity lacking carrier

My letter carrier is based out of this location, which after reading the reviews, seems to make sense. Routinely, my letter carrier will mis-deliver mail, mark packages as delivered when they aren't, send packages back overseas as being undeliverable to the address, and I have taken pictures of the carrier sleeping for hours on my street in the mail truck. I will now be heckling my letter carrier as often as I can in response to this complete dereliction of duties. I will be watching for when the mail is delivered while I'm home, so that I can heckle my letter carrier in an effort to make them to quit or ask to be reassigned to another route. I will be leaving demeaning notes on my community's mail boxes instructing the carrier how to alphabetize and sort in numerical order. I will be leaving size charts so that boxes aren't forced to fit in spaces they can't be removed from. I will be singing the ABC's while the letter carrier sorts the mail. Anything I can do to be innocently demeaning will be done. My letter carrier has no intelligence, and will be treated as such. I have filed multiple complaints several times in person at this post office in an effort to get my letter carrier to be reassigned, and no action has been taken. I'm now taking this into my own hands and advising my neighbors to do the same.

I have made numerous complaints in the last 3yrs about mail delivery. I have a problem with the sorters and the carrier. Whoever gets paid to sort mail clearly does not know numbers. I constantly get mail for a different building. I even got my neighbor's drivers license. I usually take her mail to her but the other day I wrote on the envelope to look at the numbers and put mail where it belongs. Then the mail carrier delivered my pkg to a different apt complex. Thank God the person had morals and gave it back. I constantly have mail marked as delivered but it's not. They seem to hire just anybody. There's no way I can go to work, F up my job and still have a job. Someone did call me after my last complaint. She was not at this office. She contacted the location and the carrier (at least that's what she said). This could be true because I had 2 pkgs that said delivered and left in the mailbox that I didn't receive until I complained. Then they act like they don't know how to use a doorbell. I had a notice out on my door and I've been home all day. Smh... this is one of the reasons why I'm planning on moving and will make sure wherever I go, my mail is not handled by this location.

I understand working customer service is stressful, but I have never felt so dismissed and just... I don't have words right now. Johnnie is the rudest person I have interacted with in a very long time. I moved, this is now the nearest post office to me, but I will be going to my old one. This experience was terrible. He refused to listen to what I was trying to say, when I pulled up the website that confirmed what I was trying to say he told me I needed to do something online with their website. He was quite rude about it. I asked him if he could explain it to me as this isn't something I am familiar with, and since he works at the post office its safe to assume he would know. Nope! He (once again, very rude) told me he doesn't know how their online platform works. I'm very disappointed. I did my best to be patient and kind throughout the whole encounter, but I left feeling so very upset. I haven't interacted with anyone who was just plain mean in a long time, but that's exactly how he was. Just flat out mean. 0/10, will not go again.

Recently had a package that was marked as delivered on June 2nd by the carrier but never received the package . Worst part is the scan showed it final delivery spot was deliver to faculty. I will say their is a internal ring of fraud in this postal office. Based off the response of the worker I spoke with he gave me the vibe this happens often & tried to help… but at the same time was not really helpful with making any sense of how a delivery can be redirected to faculty when my address was marked with no errors. I had a feeling of a cover up. The purchase I made had several items attached to it & this last item was the final item that did not make it to my door step & a designer pair of shoes. So I didn’t really have to put much thought into what happened . Overall this complaint will go to corporate . Unfortunately this is a representation of my neighbor postal service , in which I have never in life experience. Lack of empathy, grotesque attitudes , & insight fullness is disturbing. I hope the job was well worth it .

  • mayra barrera

this is the worst post offices ever, i have had packages delivered to my apartment the left the slips for them to leave my packages at my door, placed my slips back into my mailbox Monday morning checked my mail last night and the slips are still there with new mail!!! this is annoying due to the fact that these are things that i need to send back out to my family for the holidays. secondly i don't know how many times i have found our building mailbox left open meaning anyone can take the mail and no one would be held liable for it. how difficult would it be to lock a mailbox. last but not least I've called this location multiple times and no one has picked up the phone it just rings and I've been calling for days. it shows you how poorly they handle things at this location. they need to hire all new ppl for this place.

  • Donna Lee

I came To this location on hopes that all these reviews where lies. Johnnie was rude and not hospitable at all. I asked About about a package that should have been left at my door since they couldn’t reach me they sent it back same night not even hovering me a chance to pick up next day or on Monday. Package bring to the station at 5:21 then ship off at 7:28pm same day and no second attempt. i am Currently out of town and need my package and there was no empathy no help and i was Treated very bad. I had To beg him to double check for the package and he replied “o well what do you want me to do” i have Never been treated and spoken to so poorly and the customer service that was given i would Given McDonald’s a higher rating. Hate it here and would suggest investigation her. Customer service retraining

  • kea Diva

Terrible customer service they never answered their personal phone number. I remember getting a call from The post office at this location because of a missed type ZIP Code on my package that wasn’t my fault. After I gave them the correct information they still put the wrong ZIP Code on there and I still have never got my package I have tried calling up there multiple times trying to see if I can get my package I now have to officially drive up there because they do not answer the phone nor do they pay attention to details and information they will get your mail lost USPS is the worst mail delivery system in the world. This is the fifth time I’ve lost or something was wrong with the package to the point where it takes forever to get to me and It be normal regular items like clothes etc.

  • Mariana Rios

Worst place ever. I would not recommend coming here. I just left from trying to pick up my package that was SUPPOSEDLY suppose to deliver 3 days ago. I called and told a man to leave it at the post office that I would pick it up, clearly paid no attention and when I arrived it was no longer there, mind you I called at 1:30 it’s 3:30 now. Johnnie, rudest person ever, I was not speaking to him at all, buts in and says we’ll it says rescheduled so it’s rescheduled. He probably was the one who told me “ok” after I said I would pick it up. Not sure why you work in customer service if you don’t have the patience nor know how to speak to people. Whoever is management should really reconsider who you hire. Now it’s “on the way for delivery” apparently.

  • lyzette humphrey

I came here to pick up a package and granted I was early as the front opened at 8:30am. I left to go get coffee and came back at 8:35 and still the front was not open. I can hear all the carriers in the back shuffling boxes and moving them back and forth. There was a lot of laughter and dialogue happening back there; while the public waits in the lobby hoping someone would look at their watch and clock and say we need to open the lobby. We waited 15minutes banging on walls hoping to get someone's attention..Still to no avail.. My frustration is where is the leadership?? Leadership is everything! Where is the pride in wearing that uniform? Not everyone is called to served. As a government facility, you gotta want to do better??

  • alex stabler

If I could give no stars I would. I walked in to get my packages scanned in and get a receipt. I go to a post office every single day to drop off packages but was running errands so went to this one which was closest. I waited in line just like everyone else and the man refused to give me service because it would take too long and “that there was a line behind me.” My service would have only taken MAYBE 1 minute. After going back and forth trying to explain why I needed the receipt he kept telling me he would not do what I needed him to do. Worst experience I have ever had. Not sure of his name but he was working up front on 5/17 at 2 o’clock. This place really needs to reevaluate their employees and how they treat customers.

  • Chuc Huynh

They lost my $45 package. I live in an apartment complex and all packages are supposed to be delivered to the front office. The apartment office only accepts packages M-F (not Sunday) and yet the tracking said it was delivered on a Sunday. To whom and where...who knows. Even worse, the tracking said it was placed on my front porch. Here's the problem...1) I don't have a front porch and 2) I live in a UNIVERSITY apartment complex. The package would most likely be stolen if left in front of my door. Luckily, Amazon agreed to replace the package. I've also had other problems with USPS but I won't go into detail since they're only minor problems. Overall, the delivery system here is poor and really needs improvement.

  • Sarah Navey

My mail lady refuses to get out of her car to deliver mail. The city was doing work on the water meters in my culdesac and instead of getting out of the truck and walking up my driveway (or just to the mailbox) she said the receptacle was blocked. She did this two days in a row because she was too lazy to get out of her car, and now my 2-day shipping from Amazon has now been 5 days and I have to pick it up from the post office. In past, she's shoved softback books into the mailbox and bent them, and sometimes even lets my stuff get rained on because the mailbox won't shut all the way. (because she shoves it full of books that don't fit). What ever happened to work ethic?

  • Gunnardab

This is the most fraudulent and the worst local post office in the world, the common practices of how they treat the mail and parcels are almost a sad jokes. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I have never had so much trouble getting my packages and mail in my life. What is so wrong with giving people their mail? I'm even willing to tip the mail person to do so. Why on good name would you leave my mail at a leasing office when I'am at home and you have been delivering it to my door in the past ? I'm at the point where I just want to eliminate the mail all together how can I get mail moved to another postal service area

  • Joseph Royer

I received a tracking notification which had the wrong tracking number and a box checked saying that they would re deliver. Ok, no worries. However after a week I weekend I went into the store and they had no idea where my package was. they copied my notification and took down my phone number. A week later and I haven't heard from them or gotten my package. I have called everyday and cannot get anyone to answer. If I had the time to go to the post office everyday I would have. My package was shipped (1/2/2016) and its 23 days later and I still cannot get a hold of anyone nor do I know where my package is. Worse office ever.

  • Taylor Turner

The staff thoroughly needs to be re-evaluated for their jobs. I don't know which is worse, trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot or the horrible attitude the desk lady serviced me with. I took the slip they left on my door saying my package was there and when I went to pick it up, apparently it wasn't. The lady proceeded to say "What? You think an UFO just dropped it off here?". I'm sorry you're having a bad day, but you're at work, leave it at the door before you walk in. Never will I go back there and I am having my designated post office switched to the one on University City, at least they're friendly.

  • Law na Maapil

The lady who is on duty on August 5, 2023 needs to have a customer service training REALLY BAD. She is very rude, unprofessional and very obvious from her facial reaction up to the way she treats customers that she hates what she is doing. Then, Why work when you don't want what you're supposed to do? You are putting a bad image to the USPS community. There is an old man working there but I am not lucky enough to go on the days he is working, that man is very friendly, with excellent customer service and always ready to serve and help people and very approachable, the exact opposite of that lady.

  • A BC

Hope you don't have to pick up a package on a Saturday. There is usually a line and no one comes to the door. Prepare to wait and bring your patience. I was in there waiting and I just so happened to be the only white person in there at the time and the black employee was having a conversation with a customer about how she loves to see movies where they kill all the white people....Going on and on about how those types are her favorite. I was offended and I did not think it was appropriate for an employee to be engaging in such conversation while working. Just my opinion, and I will not be back.

I seriously wish I could give them less than 1 star because they don't even deserve that! they're so incredibly rude at this location. If you call in like the 1-800# tells you to do, they tell you they'll call you back and they never do. And while the clerk was arguing with me, the clerk next to her was being rude to the client next to me! They have no sense of customer service. And if you speak to Sharon on the phone. Ask for someone else. She is worthless and will not get back to you like she says she will. I'm so glad I moved away and hope to never have to step foot in this location again!

  • Hillary Arias

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I am not one to normally write reviews but the service I received was appauling. I called to ask for information on a usps package that was supposed to be delivered with a tracking number and was given attitude and told that they cannot help me so I asked for another number to call like customer service to figure out where the package was and they refused for almost 5 min before telling me well fine here's the number. The amount of disrespect and unprofessionalism I received was terrible. They really need to vet their people before hiring them.

  • Sarah Cummings

I work at an apartment complex that this USPS drops off to. There delivery girl ALWAYS screws things up. They confirm that packages have been dropped off to us and don't leave anything, or they constantly put mail in the wrong boxes. This girl is HORRIBLE at her job. My check got lost in the mail. They said they delivered my book that I ordered (to my job mind you) and it wasn't dropped off but marked it that they did. This service is a joke. Residents come in all the time looking for packages that they get notes for and say that it was supposed to be dropped off and it isn't.

  • Houston Delporte

If I could give 0 stars I would. They marked my address as undeliverable, and then immediately returned it to sender before I could even go to the post office to see what happened. After going to the sort facility and contacting USPS they said there is absolutely no reason my package was marked undeliverable, the address was correct. Now my package which was a preorder will get refunded and I probably won't be able to get a new one for months due to demand (PC parts). I've never had an issue with USPS but University Charlotte has the absolute worst mail service of all time.

  • Timothy Lindgren

The worst post office I have ever been too. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Rude staff that don't do their jobs well. I turned in a stop mail order and when I came back they never put it into the system and continued to deliver my mail to an address that I had no access too. The mail delivery driver for my route CONSTANTLY crumpled mail into a ball as he put it in my mailbox, and that's IF I got my mail. Numerous packages ordered online never came only to be sent back to Amazon without ever attempting a delivery.

  • Timeka Griffin

Whoever delivered my mail today knocked over my recycling bin which was not even in the way for the mail to be delivered. They knocked it over and left the trash that was in the can all over my driveway and street. They also hit my neighbors trash can so hard it ended up on another neighbors driveway. When I called the local office, there's no prompt to speak with a Representative or Supervisor. This is unacceptable behavior! That person could have at least have rhe coutesy to pick up or let me know.

  • Lianet Monaga

Sent a cashier check to the IRS for thousands of dollars (priority and certified mail), more than 30 days later the envelope with the check is nowhere to be found and I can't simply cancel an official check, it takes at least 90 days to reissue another one. The misinformation and disinterest to help me solve such delicate matter is not only alarming but unacceptable after several times presenting myself at the post office. They seem clueless and unresourceful.

  • Mariela Sanchez

Normally, most people’s experience coming to the post office is a bad one but today I went in here to send 2 packages and Rhonda was more than amazing. She was smiling, greeting every customer, being so polite, professional and most importantly helpful. These days it’s hard to find people that would do their job let alone help customers and she did it gracefully. Give that woman a raise, she was there by herself, no help and handled it like a boss. Go Rhonda!

  • Racine Barbee

This Post Office is the worst , I see all my mail scanned in but I never actually receive any mail to my mailbox and don’t let me get started on the EXTREMELY rude manager Matthew, I don’t know why he picked this line of work when he is so unprofessional, Condescending and egotistical ..kind of person which stressful to have to deal with I wish he do us all a favor and step aside and let someone who actually can get the job done have the job.

  • Alan Elam

If there's ever more than one person working, the other is sitting there "on break." I'm standing in line for over an hour and they are sitting there the entire time without taking a customer. One time I saw two people working, but the second would always say "I can't handle that kind of package" and make you stand back in line. Took 1 letter in the 30 minutes I was in line. UPS and FedEx now get my business even if it means paying double.

  • Hikmat Al-Chami

While I'm not a customer who would typically receive packages from this location, I do happen to work in any area courier by the N Tryon Post Office. I have to say that Pierre is perhaps one of the best mailmen I've ever had the chance to deal with. He's incredibly personable, social, and efficient at his job in a way that is both commendable and aspiration. With that being said, I feel he deserves a recognition for how awesome he is!

  • Swapneel Rao Kodupuganti

Worst Custoner service. I generally go into an USPS expecting that there will not be a good customer service. I went into this location of USPS looking for a package that they tried to deliver earlier that day. I checked with them and they said its not the location what I was looking for. Further I had to show them that its that location but they were still unresponsible and said they cant waste time finding my envelope

  • Phyllis “Babygirl” Stricklin

This is the worst mail service I ever had.. they lose your mail. And don t order anything that needs to be deliver u want get it and they want leave a note to tell you if they coming back or where to pick it up.. I'm still waiting on a package they swear they try to deliver it twice.. I have not seen the mail man. After I miss work 2 days in a roll to get one package that they can leave in the mail box..

  • Natalie N

I have informed delivery and lost 2 packages within 6 months. HOW SWAY?!?! It so frustrating. I rather drive to the distribution center myself and pick up my items rather than to have it delivered. The mail lady is clueless and customer service don't know what to do when you call. Oh and it doesn't matter if you have insurance because they can't guarantee anything. Please close this place down.

  • Luke Hunt

Somebody at this location is stealing packages. One of my packages made it to this post office as it says on tracking but the workers are telling me it never came there when it literally says (Arrived at usps facility 28213). I have another package that didn’t even make it out from drop off both are lost and there nothing I can do about it. Great service, If you want safe mail DO NOT USE USPS.

  • Dana Walker

If I could give no stars, I would. The front office is supposed to open at 830am but nobody opened until 845am. You could hear the team members in the back discussing everything except work. When the lady finally came to open the doors, she was extremely indifferent and slightly rude about not opening on time. This was a terrible experience. If you don't have to come here, you shouldn't.

  • Kaelyn Ball

Worst place ever. I would rather go to the dmv than try to get my package from this usps. I got into an accident and have been in the hospital unable to get my package. I requested they resend it now that i'm home and they said they'd call me back. A week ago. I have called multiple times every day to talk to someone and there is never an answer. Highly regret moving to this address.

  • Nadine Carter

Package marked delivered but was not delivered. Called the branch and the carrier was called and lied stating that they left my package at the door. I work from home so I know that my package was not delivered, he/she never came to my door. When they deliver packages they should be made to take a picture like amazon so there’s proof of the delivery. No one has time for the lies!

  • Damian Beasock

They stopped delivering packages to apartment complexes where the leasing offices do not accept deliveries due to quarantine. Instead of delivering to people's doors like every other delivery service, they have you come to the post office to pick up your packages. It's been crowded both times I've been there first thing in the morning. I would avoid using USPS wherever possible.

  • TR M

I’m convinced they’re tampering with mail. Several of my packages never arrived and the tracking never updates. One of my packages was returned to sender and they said it was because my address wasn’t correct on the package even AFTER they marked my package as delivered. I called about a package that I’m currently waiting on, the lady had me on hold until the office closed!

  • Serge Pierson

This place is probably the worse of all because of the workers there! So basically the man that works there as a manager he made people feel uncomfortable by rushing them when they cannot speak English, and being impatient and rude to them ! Basically all they care is about getting people through so this is the second and last time I’m ever going there!!!!

  • Alina

I was waiting to pick up an important envelope and no one was in line, I was the only customer inside the building! The man working there sees me there waiting yet refuses to acknowledge my existence then hops to the back for 10minutes and comes back rude af, just because you hate your life and don't get paid enough don't mean you can ruin someone's day.

  • Kellee Smith

Call and they don't bother to answer. I'm not close to this location, but because of zip code this is my assigned post office. The package should have been delivered 6 days ago and now I have to be more inconvenienced because they haven't redelivered, aren't answering the phone, and are well out the way and inconvenient due to transit road construction.

  • Davina Humphrey

The worst post office. Tina is sending every customer with an issue to the side while she gossip with her friends. After waiting for a supervisor an hour. Black woman with dreads look like a stud was extremely dismissive and lied to my face abt the package never arriving. The United States government need they behind whooped fot this type of service

  • colleen payne

Terrible service. Postal worker talked trash about me to everyone I. Post office because she doesn't know how to do a transaction. Lied and said she was going to call for help and didn't came back and said she had to call them so what was she doing when she went back there! Personally insulted me. She needs to grow up and get a different job.

  • William Kim

One of the worst post office I ever been. From the second I walk in the gentleman that works there gives me an attitude. Don’t know what he’s doing and brings his supervisor and she has no idea what they are doing. Lied to my face about my mail.I haven’t been getting my mail for month and a half. I guess the post office is now hiring anyone.

  • Chintan Patel

They say my package is in mailbox. But its not there. They gave me a phone number to contact them its busy most of the time and when it goes through nobody picks it up. And i probably think the carrier placed the key for mailbox for special package in someone else's mailbox or forgot to keep it in my mailbox and is still with him/her.

  • Destanie Chang

Never had an issue with USPS until moving to Charlotte. The USPS system here sucks! Everything moves smoothly until it hits the distribution center and the post office. Packages are always delayed or going missing. They lost a very valuable package that was sent to me. This was the last straw for me. USPS extremely sucks in this area.

  • Jose Lopez

Dropped off two packages and it has been five days but the tracking number still says that they are waiting for me to drop it making me look bad to my clients. Then I go back to at least check where the packages are even if they are delayedso I can answer to my clients but they just tell me to wait. Incompetence on a whole new level.

  • Brianna j

Worst service I have ever had. Packages are marked off as undeliverable when the address is totally correct, packages are marked of as delivered when they are nowhere to be found and delivery of things are constantly delayed. Good luck getting in contact with anyone at the office, it’s a rabbit hole that you won’t get out off.

  • Sydney Mattison

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Package was delivered to the wrong house and my information was taken down by three separate people just to not get a call back. The courier was never spoken to about mis-delivering my package, nor do they take any real responsibility for it. They need to hire a new set of people.

  • David

I dont know why there are so many low reviews. Every time i go they always are personable and very helpful. 4 Stars instead of 5 because of how they act around the holidays or on busy days. They should honestly act as jolly as Santa Clause around the holidays as USPS delivers equally as many gifts as Santa Clause does.

  • Owlbear Manor

The workers here are useless, one week you can pick up a package for someone the next week you can’t. They won’t stay open for normal working people to get their packages. Here’s a thought make your delivery drivers do their job and deliver the packages. Also stay open till 7 so the normal 8-5 workers can get their items

  • Frux Adinfinitum

Rhonda was amazing! This is not my normal location so I was a little weary of what to expect. But Rhonda came out of nowhere, came out with a smile and was super professional. She absolutely made my day. I actually told her that I have never dealt with such a cheerful postal employee. Thanks for being so amazing, Rhonda!

  • Bryanna McKeon

I went in on Friday to check on a package that was delivered to the wrong address, they said the carrier had left for the day. I left my name, the wrong address, and tracking number for them to call me and they didn’t so I tried calling the post office. I called three times and each time they hung up on me.

  • Jandra Washington

This place is a disgrace to the USPS. The employees in this facility look, act and behave so unethical, Unprofessional and unmannered. They should close this place and start from scratch. Is depressing to see an institition like the USPS have such type of individuals working for them. ! God Help Us! …

  • Bernard Graham

Absolutely the worst postsl experience i have ever had. Slow, insufficient. Caught the substitute mail carrier several times not picking up outgoing mail. Just got into a argument with the manager because they said i wasnt on the lease even though i am and have been getting packages for months there

  • Racqual Heard

Mail carrier lied to my face when I asked did she deliver a package to my house. She said she never did. Upon further investigation I was informed that she did did in fact work that day and when questioned by her supervisor she claims she did work and delivered my package. I never received the item

  • Tristian B

Called over 30 times in a week spread around times and days and never answered. I was in the hospital and needed to hold a package since I was unable to pick it up. Sent my boyfriend to get it and they made him wait 3 hours to say they’d call when they found it. Never called. Worst service ever.

  • K B

Awful service. Left $700 worth of packages on my door step with no slip KNOWING there was mail theft going on and all my packages we stolen and they dont want to be held accountable. When I confronted the carrier she was rude and nonchalant. Awful awful awful wish I didnt live near this one.

  • Tony Winston

My package said it arrived at the post office, went out for delivery the next day (which was cool)...tracking history said it was out for delivery at 6:10am and at 8:40pm ...yes, a whole 14 hours later the tracking history says “it arrived back to the post office and available to pick up”

  • Mariah Edwards

Worst customer service ever. Wouldn’t ever want to use my money for anything at this location. Tall, older, black guy with glasses was extremely rude to me and didn’t have any sort of customer service or politeness. Not my fault if you don’t like your job but you chose it, so do better.

  • Cii

I would give this place NEGATIVE STARS if I could....I dropped off a package to be sent back to AT&T on APRIL 7th, here it is APRIL 24th and my package was never mailed!!!!!!! It's still sitting at the post office!!!! This place and its employees are nothing more than unprofessional!!!

  • D Hicks

To bad it won't let you rate zero stars. Our mail carrier continuously puts other peoples mail in our mailbox. We've called and complained about the service, but it continues to happen. I guess they're expecting me to redeliver it. I'm starting to believe our mail carrier cannot read.

  • Seth Catley

I've gone here 3 times a week for over a year... unlike most people I didn't walk in there asking dumb questions and being butthurt about missing mail, I was courteous, respectful, and intelligent... made it easy for them to be the same way back to me. These guys are great! 5 STARS!

  • 9 8

I lived in this country for 30 years and I have encountered 30 years of great delivery and service until i came here. this God forsaken place thats disguised as a post office is just a hang out for bitter souls that need to pay child support and their mortgage. Cowards need to quit.

  • Akira Ze

If I could give this store zero stars I would. They closed the doors 15 minutes before the actual closing time. Fire that whole staff I don’t understand how you can see nothing but bad reviews and still keep these people hires. Worst post office I’ve ever been to

  • Nishwa I

Said my package was delivered at my door and it never was I called them all they cared to say is the driver said she put it at the door and never did i waited for it because I knew it was express shipping that was a important package that I never got that’s gone

  • Laura Mae Martin

I had a great experience here mailing my wedding invitations. The woman I talked to was kind and helpful and walked me through correct posting and stamping to make sure they were mailed out beautifully. One of the nicest postal service employees I've ever met!

  • Angela Lovelace

Mail was delivered but small package was taken back to the post office.. Was not reason for this... So have to make a special trip to this post office.. I blame the postal worker not doing their job!! And we got someone else mail which I left in mail box...

  • Nick Brown

Most employees do every aspect of their job poorly because they are lazy and apathetic. They lose packages, grunt at you on the phone, set incorrect statuses for tracking on everything, and even will go as far as lying to you to get you to go away.

  • Tyler Grata

Worst post office I've ever been to. Manager here sees everything as an inconvenience for himself and does little to help you. If you don't have to use this post office I recommend using a different one. This one needs an overhaul of management

  • Steven Danan

Waited 30 min to find out they can't find my held package. Then told to write my info down so that a supervisor could track it. I was told to go to this post office by another post office. The reviews are real. Worst post office experience ever

  • Doya Mohammed

Worst location ever, so rude and unprofessional! They marked my package as undeliverable and the entire address was correct on the packaging!!! I’m having an issue with them again saying that they delivered the package but they never did!!!

  • The ScooP With Mz libdiva

Worst post office ever. Very rude to customers. Act like they dont wanna be there. Don't care about customers. Playing loud music on phone while at work. I can go on and on. They are terrible! Fired them all now! They dont need the job.

  • Julie Cross

Horrible experience. They lost one of my boxes and i called them for assistance and they put me on hold and never came back. Tried to call back and they didn't answer. When I finally got through to someone they were rude and snappy.

  • Sayantan Datta

Been there twice, once to collect a package, and second to ship a few packages. I did realise that the staff is quite over worked and get overwhelmed too quickly. But I never had to wait for more than 4 minutes to get my work done.

  • Fred Winger

Horrible. Unprofessional. If you do manage to get through via phone, the hold time is ridiculous. They don’t care about packages that people paid for being “lost” or their unreliable drivers that deliver mail to the wrong places.

  • Millanne Garcia

If I could give no stars, I would, I've been having my orders not delivered being marked as such and they don't even pickup the phone. I've had 4 orders missing for almost a month now and STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY REPLY FROM THEM.

  • Summer Lucille

Only one person working 90% of the time I come here. As an small business owner time is valuable. It's difficult to use post office therefore I will start using Fed Ex. I understand why Post office is going out of business!!!!

  • Ella Cleary

the woman who helped me ship my package was very helpful and professional! I had so many questions and she was able to kindly answer them. I was nervous because of the reviews but I had a good customer service experience!

  • Amber Black

The reviews are 100% true. This is the worst post office I've ever experienced in any state that I have lived. I dropped off a package 6 days ago & it has not moved since. Any request for assistance has proven unfruitful.

  • Enzo Felicissimo

Online hours are consistently wrong, it seems like this place closes whenever they want. Makes sense to me because the staff is definitely the rudest I’ve ever encountered at a usps, wish I could give 0 stars.

  • Jolie Bea

I just moved to Charlotte and the lady that helped me (unfortunately I didnt get her name) was fast, efficient and explained what I needed fluently. She was kind and I was in and out in barely 10 minutes.

  • Prashanth Shanbhag

The associate at the counter was professional and it was a quick service. Very attentive and quite helpful in terms of any queries asked ! Also, the office was well maintained l. Hassle free experience.

  • Cassie Donsbach

Messed up delivery AND scheduled redelivery of my package. Then sent me to the wrong place twice. Phone is usually on the busy tone and was given misleading information time after time after time.

  • Morgan Johnson

Rude people working there with zero interest to help decided to be aggressive when answering me rather than helpful. Acting like I am stupid when if I knew the answers I wouldn’t be there.

  • James Johnston

This has to be the worst. Most incompetent post office in Charlotte will never go back. The astounding amount of stupidity and incompetence is immeasurable with this facility

  • Maggie Dahnke

Tina was extremely helpful, informative, and was positive and happy! She provided amazing customer service and was a pleasure to speak with. Thank you, Tina for all you do!!

  • Ashley Haney

Tall guy with glasses is rude and has zero customer service skills. Didnt want to help us sort out our mailing issue. Wouldn’t recommend going here.

  • Sam Walker

I pay for a po box and can't access it to fulfill my orders on Sundays online say the lobby doors should be open. Should be open …

  • Papa Estapa

Had to call 5 times for them to finally answer then put me on hold for 20 mins… guess im goin in. They playin games but I got time.

  • Cedric B

Slow service it’s ridiculous how slow this location is
