IN REGARDS TO PASSPORTS: THIS FACILITY IS NOT BASED ON APPOINTMENT, IT'S WALK IN FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. They have 1 very "patient" and chatty woman working there who tries to process 30 applicants max from 9am-12pm and then again at 1pm-3pm. I showed up on Monday at 8:30 am and there were already 24 people in line ahead of me, which is already more than half the limit of people she can take for the day. This facility is a first come first serve basis which means the earlier you get here, the better chance you have of getting helped. I suggest getting here at 6AM WITH A CAMPING CHAIR and wait 2 hours til they open if you really want to be helped before noon. At 9am, she came out and handed everyone a number, I got #25 and she said anyone who got #1-20 can stay and wait until 12pm and anyone over #21 needs to come back at 1pm. So I left and came back at 1pm and was informed that #17-#24 still needed to be helped, with only 2 hours left til closing. She managed to help 4 people the first hour and I was worried I wasnt going to be helped with 1 hour remaining. Finally at 2:50pm she called my number- 10 minutes before closing and 2 other people behind me in line. She helped me with my first time application and was kind enough to help those 2 people but only because they begged. All I can say is HAVE YOUR IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS READY AND ORGANIZED, PASSPORT PHOTOS TAKEN (walmart or CVS), APPLICATION FILLED OUT PROPERLY, (HALF THE LINE OF PEOPLE WERE THERE FOR RENEWALS WHICH YOU CAN EASILY DO ONLINE OR BY MAIL!!!) AND BE THERE 2-3 HOURS EARLY TO BE ABLE TO TAKE A SPOT IN LINE AND GET A NUMBER. IF YOU GET ANYTHING OVER #25, I SAY TRY AGAIN SOME OTHER DAY or go to Santa Cruz facility (rumor has it that there's no line there).

After years , I still think this Roberts Villie Post office on Branham Ln is the WORST POST OFFICE EVERY! I was expecting a EMS package from Japan, I had app call After ship and USPS track app on my phone, which's they confirm every activity on text message. I was home whole day and somehow I open the door but I got the notice on my door.....You miss the package, Ok No one knock the door, that's fine I request redelivery service next day, Guess what ?!....I start stay in the living room since 9 am ~ 6pm, DING DING NO SHOW! Really ?! If you guys that busy how about at least leave a note or call me you guys not coming! I'm so upset so I start calling them for hour but No one ever pick up the phone. Request another delivery on 6pm Tuesday night, And I start calling there business hour NONE STOP from 9am in the morning til 10:48, finally a guy pick up and tell me all the carrier is out! But Sorry I'm not waiting another whole day ! I need it taking care today ! Dude , only you guys busy ! No respect! RobertsVillie Post Office , If there's 0 star I won't give this 1 star! Years a gold we lost about 10 package in 6 months! One of the carrier is been stolen our package, now that person is gone! Find out that person is not fired but switch to another road. But Branham ln post office still lots of problems!

Called this Post office to complain about 6 packages that were dropped off on Monday 5/18/15 that are apparently missing. After having to repeat my issue to a third employee, I get a very RUDE Postal employee that argued with me and said they do not scan packages that are left in the drop box in the lobby. I told her (Rhonda) that I mail several packages per week and always drop them off in the drop box and the tracking does indeed scan and says (*example) ORIGIN ACCEPTANCE May-12-15, 17:25 PM, SAN JOSE 95118 ...I believe I have been shipping before this person may have been a Postal Employee! Why that was an issue for her and why she had to make it very clear that I am WRONG and she is RIGHT did not help the fact that I have 6 packages that were dropped off on Monday and it is now Weds afternoon and none are tracked into the system anywhere. I have dealt with most all of the friendly Staff in this Post Office for over 18 years and this is my first bad experience there. Of course she isn't one of the long time employees there, but no excuse for her condescending behavior! I believe some customer service skills would be helpful to this employee. The end result: "Sorry, All I can tell you is you created Labels." As if I didn't already know that! No other help or solution! UGH!

I need to cancel an appointment on my kid's passport renewal. When I called for two days, the phone was either busy or kept ringing without anyone answering it within working hours. It is so difficult to schedule an appointment for a minor's passport renewal nowadays because kids under 16 have to go in person. Almost all the post offices in the South Bay are not accessible by phone or email. After so many phone calls, I scheduled an appointment with San Jose (Branham) as a backup, I couldn't reach anyone to cancel this appointment. The US Post Office is under-funded and short of staff. However, ordinary citizens should get their passports without going through days of trouble in scheduling or canceling an appointment. For people who what to go without an appointment, they shouldn't drag the kids and wait outside the post office such as Meridian Branch three hours before the door opens at 7:00AM on Saturdays (told by one of the post office staff). This problem needs to be fixed!

Love being told that the Carrier Supervisor is busy and I should leave a note with my problem instead, and it "for sure" will reach their table. I adore that the package a friend sent me has to go through the whole process of being returned because they couldn't simply hold onto the package and call me for pick-up. I appreciate the urgency in trying to get me out the door as fast as possible without even attempting to resolve my issues or grievances. I'm relieved to wake up in the morning and find that the package that I requested, "for sure" is being sent back across the USA. Great customer service, wonderful atmosphere, just wish they could reply with a number to leave a review of the employees who worked the front so I could give them as glowing of a review despite them giving out surveys to everyone else.

Worst post office. I paid extra postage for priority mail to get my Christmas gifts on time. On Friday evening, Dec. 27th, my tracking was suddenly updated to say "delivered." I have not received the packages!! Our mail is in a locked box so no one took it. I called the Robertsville office Sat, Dec. 28th, and the postal worker heard my complaint, said he would contact the postman, and call me right back. It is now Dec.30th--no call. I have left a note in the box for the postman - no response. I just hunted the postman down - he's a sub today. He was kind enough (hence the one star) to come back to my box to open it up. Guess what? It won't open. SO, my son has gone back to school - no presents. Am I going to have to pay postage AGAIN? I've tried called the station - no answer. Worst customer service ever.

We have had a mail box for our non profit organization at Branham Ln location for over two decades. Early this year we moved to another city and requested forwarding mails to our new address. Nearly 7 our of 10 mails never reached us or they were forwarded to us months after they were mailed to Branham Lane branch. The majority of the mail were checks that were sent to us by donors. Since we never received and cashed the check, the donor either called us or cancelled their checks. We had similar experience with forwarding our mails at the end of 2007 and beginning of 2008 too. We had moved and USPS lost our mails or forwarded them to us several several weeks after they received them. This branch has had serious management problem and mishandles or lose mails. Bewared!

I don't understand why people give such a low rating on this post office. I go here twice a week to drop off products i sold online. Sometimes i get in line to do some international mailing and buy stamps. The staffs here are fast, efficient, nice, and helpful. I always pack and print shipping labels at home. Then, I drop off my packages in the large mail box anytime i like from early morning till 10pm. It saves me a lot of time and unnecessary frustrations. Within 5 miles where i live, this is the only post office that has large drop off box available from 8am-10pm. Regarding passport application, it's slow everywhere, not just here. I waited 4 hours at USPS Meridian branch just to submit my kids passport application and pay the fee.

DON’T COME FOR A WALK IN PASSPORT. Came for a walk in passport. Was told they opened at 9, came in at 8:40 and got in line. But before me or anyone else that was already in line could be helped, several different groups of people that showed up at 9:05, 9:10, and 9:15 were helped first all because they came in at 6 AM, put their name on a list, and came back at their convenience. To have both options available and not to advertise the latter option makes zero sense. It’s pretty unreasonable to show up twenty minutes early, become 3rd in line, then wait over an hour and a half to be helped. And I still haven’t been helped, still only 2nd in line. This is ridiculous. It’s a problem and if you want a passport don’t come here.

  • Karen L

I would give zero stars if I could. I got a text saying that my shipment of LIVE baby chicks had arrived. I showed up at 7:30 and the post office wouldn't let me pick them up even though there were workers there and I had ID and everything. They made me wait until they opened at 8:30. In past years, this post office also mishandled live chicks and I had almost a 50% chick death because of them. They don't care about actual lives! I am now standing outside waiting at 7:39 and I will just have to stand here for an hour even though they could have just handed them to me and it would have taken less than 5 minutes. Super disrespectful and uncaring workers!!!!!!

  • Devin

I would give 0 stars if I could. Quite literally the worst USPS I've ever dealt with. They won't attempt to deliver packages, won't leave a notice, and then will blame you for it. You can request to not receive old resident's mail all you want, but they'll continue delivering it anyway to overflow your mailbox. They will be rude to you even if you catch them after not attempting to deliver your mail. Staff are completely rude if you go to the location, and good luck getting through if you're trying to call. This location alone made me hate USPS after respecting them for so many years. Don't move here, don't go here, and don't waste your time.

  • Kristen Scott

I tend to get there right before closing due to my business, but I try to get in before 5 pm, and I always use my online USPS labels so I can just drop it off with no help needed. If I'm late, I get it... my bad. However... three times in a period of two weeks during the holiday rush (end of November and now through December), they have tried to close before 5 pm. There is a crowd at the door showing the lady what time it is on all our phones, proving that it's not 5 pm yet, and she still tries to close before 5 pm. It's just going to get worse there in the run up to Christmas, and this has never happened before this season.

I have used this Post Office for over 25 years and I been so pleased (I have a P.O. Box). Life happens, and when situations have come up, the issues were resolved immediately by the friendly and courteous staff/management. In most cases, I am on a first-name basis with the staff and the carriers who deliver mail to my home. I have recommended this location on many occasions and will do so, in the future. I love the new method of getting packages delivered to my P.O. Box by using the P.O. street address, instead of, my home address. This ensures the maximum security of package-deliveries to my box. Give this location a try!

  • Imran Ah

I would like to first share the experience of post office annex. Me and my wife went with our baby to take a photo next to the usps. The annex place is clean and well maintained. However, the customer service inside is not up to the mark. The man inside is relatively warm and polite and understands the customers concerns. However, the lady was very rude to my wife when she asked her a question and gave tough looks to her for no reason. The main usps is ok and the staff is well behaved. Not much to add since we have an appointment to attend soon. For passport services, appointment are a must these days.

  • Josh Pires

Horrible carrier service.. packages are always late.. if it doesnt fit in the mailbox they don't drop it at the door, they just leave a note in the mailbox saying sorry it doesnt fit and leave you without your package, even though it doesnt require a signature.. Before being on hold for 30 mins I was hung up on 3 times because they were "busy", I rescheduled a delivery for the next business day. Monday comes around and the package still isnt here.. I called and was told that it is sitting at the office.. what's the point of a reschedule if they cant do that either.. NOT my first bad experience.

  • Kaila Crawford

If I was able to give negative stars I would. The older gentlemen working at the passport station was lovely and tried to help us however the rude asian lady named Kristie or Christine should find another job. she was arrogant, aggressive, mean and clearly hates her life. We quickly left and went to the post office on meridian who’s workers were actually kind, friendly and they helped us quickly unlike Christine who literally told us that it’s “not her problem”. Well maybe you should find a new job if you don’t feel like doing it, clearly the other postal offices had no problem in helping us.

  • Y. Qiao

horrible. they missed me (did they honestly expect someone to be home on a work day?) and left a pink slip. 1) the redelivery number is invalid so I can't schedule a redelivery. 2) the office package pickup time window is monday - satuday 8AM - 8:30AM. did they expect everyone to be there by 8AM ? why is the pick up window so small?? this defeats the whole purpose of online purchases (Amazon should immediately stop using contracted carriers, even at the expense of slower deliveries! late deliveries is better than missed deliveries !!! ). 3) they do not pickup phones.

  • william langer

I ordered a package that Was shipped next day delivery. Nothing for 5 days. Checked tracking number and it said USPS delivered it on June 30 with a specific time. I was home then and checked my ring. No delivery. Checked with post office that sent the package they said check with local USPS office as it might be there. It was. I asked why the tracking number indicates the package was delivered. Oh it might have been attempted. I said it doesn’t say attempted on the tracking number. Oh maybe no one was home. I mentioned my camera. Oh it was too heavy. Unbelievable!

  • Cecilia Huelgas

I don't know where to complain about package delivery. Yesterday through my e-mail I received notification that my order arrived and they put it in my neighbor's box and I deliver it open we have problems with that person and I don't want it to happen again. A couple of months ago I placed an order and it never arrived but I was notified that it was delivered I have left insulin from people who do not live in my area and that is wrong. If someone can help me please get this post to the right person who works in the postal service. Thanks.

  • Junyi Li

The package that I shipped here was never received by the recipient. it's lost or stolen. then I came to the store in person for inquiry and was told to open a search request online. I then did it online back home, the only response was an email telling me the package was showing delivered and the case will automatically be closed in 7 days. What a service it is! You trust someone for delivery and you lost your item and money and without any reason and investigation result. I will avoid USPS service in the future, at least from this location.

  • Michael Rodarte

I tried to call. Automated. Everytime I said carrier it said "carimer" no options for numbers. Then I had an expected wait time of 45 - 60 min. My only concern is whether or not the deliver person came by yet. My paycheck was supposed to come on Wednesday. It's almost the end of Friday (for mailing hours) and still haven't gotten anything. I realize they can't track a simple mail it like that but they should be able to tell me if the delivery guy came by the area already or not. It's all electronic so I know they track their whereabouts.

  • George A. Rossy

The employee Brandon was very abrupt with me, although I was calm with him. When I attempted to take a picture of my package without postage on it, he immediately grabbed and covered my package with his hands, as if I was stealing his package. He abruptly informed me that it's against the law to take a picture of my package in a government building. I calmly said that I wasn't aware of this law. He repeated his statement several times. At the end of my transaction I wished him a Merry Christmas and he rudely ignored me.

  • Michael Youssef

I was expecting a certified mail to arrive with an important document. I found a notice slip in my mail box saying “No secure location”. I was at home all day that day. I went to that office many times to get it, but apparently they lost it and told me to file an insurance claim. If you are sending important documents don’t expect it to arrive at all from this branch. The branch supervisor met me once when he first knew about the issue. Took my phone number and told me to follow up that night, but never called back.

  • Rita Barone

I'm sooo frustrated with this post office. I had 3 packages delivered on October 19th, my family's Halloween costumes, and they all were tracked and shown delivered. This post office let them sit in the post office for a MONTH and notified me on November 13th that I had packages waiting for pick up (and they put on exclamation point on the note). I had already received a refund for the purchases and my family's holiday was ruined. I hate this post office, they are terrible.

  • Mandiee Leaver

Annoyed. I tried to send out some letters through my mail box. Even left a note TELLING the postal worker there are letters in my box could you please mail them. The note was ignored. It’s annoying the mail carrier is refusing to pick up mail. Isn’t that part of the service? In every other place I have lived (multiple cities, in multiple different homes, different states even) every postal worker has picked up and dropped off mail. So what’s up with this -particular- area?

  • I. Bernardino

This USPS branch is fast and almost always clean. It also has a passport office but seems close most of the time. The lobby area has the contactless self-service kiosk so convenient when sending letters/packages within the US only. Even though it appears to have limited parking - there’s extra spaces on the side so I never have a problem finding one. They also have the drive through/drop off portion for added convenience when you already have a stamped letter.

  • Jamil Andalib

Why google doesn’t introduce negative stars!! These folks don’t even deserve a single star. These People in Branham Ln steal mails/packages. Any mail/packages with valuable /significant...Nope! You won’t ever get it. If you complain, they will reply with a happy face “mails keep getting stolen in this area, what can we do”! From management to delivery, each and every official is corrupted and playing with residents’ packages of this area.

  • Cindy Loaiza

Employees are good people just trying to help the customer. The manager (Saturday 2/2/19) on the other hand has poor customer service skills. As I was trying to explain the process of the shipment I was trying to make she interrupted me 5 times and would not let me get a word out. Number one rule of good customer service service is listen to the customer to understand the situation before giving input. No listening skills what so ever.

  • Julie Buckfield

I approached the Post Office for a passport renewal, and I was impressed by the seamless experience. The staff was knowledgeable and efficient, providing me with clear instructions and ensuring all necessary documents were in order. The quick turnaround time exceeded my expectations, demonstrating their dedication to quality service. Considering the convenience and peace of mind, the value I received was unparalleled.

  • K K

Not all staff has full knowledge of international deliveries. Though the staff person was courteous and helpful, I almost had to wait 30mins to complete the process bcos of their lack of knowledge. I chose Priority express international mail option and its been more than 7 business days and the tracking has no progress. Totally disappointed. Choose Fedex, UPS or DHL service for international deliveries instead.

  • Stephanie Salgado

I’ve gone 3+ times complaining about why my USPS tracking status for my package has changed 3 times from delivered, to undeliverable, to wrong address. First they accused me of not grabbing my mail or checking my porch then they said My name wasn’t on the mailbox, then they said it was delivered when it wasn’t and now my package is missing . I hate this postal office they suck at their job and need to be fired

  • Jimmy Sch

(Passport Office) - super efficient and good customer service. The employee gave us a reminder on needed documents before opening the doors. I was done in 15 minutes. Arrive early as only 30 people are serviced per day. I got there at 7.30am on a Wednesday and was 3rd in line. If you need to make last minute photocopies in the place next to the post office they only take cash under $10!

  • Sergio Hernandez

I had 2 packages to be delivered 1 of them was delivered an the other was not very strange I was home an no doorbell was rang in case it was signature request now I need to go to the post office to pick it up this my second issue with this post office since I moved on this side of town never ever had any issues in the last area I lived in an I mean never had any issues at all.

  • Shana Sundstrom

I had a great experience today with Edith at the Branham Lane post office and with my mail carrier, Tommy Lee, who came out after he was already off of work to help me with some packages that were recently delivered to my house. Both were prompt and courteous with helping me solve my problem! Thank you so much Edith and Tommy for your awesome customer service!!!

  • Bob Seidenberg

Lost an important shipment of medications. After trying to deliver to me, they (postal carrier) returned them to sender. Unable to determine why? The USPS tracking info was useless and not up to date. Supervisor at local office made promises to follow up but disappeared also. Another example of "Delivering for you".

  • Dương Trịnh

I was at the passport location today with my mom to renew our passport, and Harjinder was so friendly and helpful. She helps us even mail out the form instead of sending us to the post office to mail it. Highly recommended to some one who wants a good service. Thanks again Harjinder for your help.

  • Kate Brophy

My mail was delivered last night (Monday) at 6:45 p.m.!! Last Saturday, the same. This late delivery time is new. Previously it was delivered regularly in the a.m. Vacation time maybe? I mailed a book about 2 weeks ago; no, I didn't pay for tracking. It still hasn't arrived in Los Alamitos CA.

  • Jackie Youn

I would give it zero star if I could. The man was so unfriendly. Where do you get trained like that to treat your customers? I would never come back here again. Will go back to the post office in the Oakridge mall with the super friendly staff! What a way to ruin my day!!

  • brandon withab

Went to get my passport done and the lady was more than helpful. She was quick and was really really friendly. The only reason why it took a while to get my passport done is due to people in front of me not being prepared and causing the time to go from 10 minutes to 30.

  • Karl Tony

I am extremely pleased with the level of service I received at this Post Office. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They handled my package with care and ensured it was delivered on time. I highly recommend this Post Office for all your mailing needs!

  • karthiKast

Went to get my daughter's passport renewed. Read instructions online took completed DS11 driver's license copies and birth certificate copy and passport picture. Waited in line for 40 minutes after which application process was about 10 minutes. Harvinder was great.

  • Lawrence Marwong

I live in Evergreen but I drive to this post office. Parking lot is the best, easy to get in, drop off items and get back on the road to work. Passport office here gets pretty busy, I would recommend the post office in Gilroy if you want to avoid a wait.

  • C J

Last year a mail carrier lied that I wasn’t home for package delivery when I was sitting in my living room waiting for it. He didn’t even ring the door bell. Few days ago, I was expecting another package and the carrier scanned my address

  • Mayra

Worst place ever to try and renew your passport! There people are not properly trained and only 1 person handles the passport processing and even then you are given the wrong information! Prepare to have your time wasted if you come here!

  • A T

Why do we have to dread every single interaction with our government agencies? They make every single trivial task painfully difficult, long and complicated. Something as simple as getting a passport application accepted is a month long

  • Taesuk kwon

Passport service team is unfriendly . we went to 2pm and waited in the line . they said they can't take any more today and I was just in front of the last one . the office hour should change and showing to close as 2pm . it shows open

  • O HB

It has been 2 weeks since we have not received our mail at our apartment complex, the leasing office sent all residents an email letting us know where we could pick up our mail, the first time I stopped by and there were a few other

  • John Floor

Called in because i was supposed to recieve an important peice of mail from the DMV that didn't show up. When i reached customer service they gave me the run around so they didn't have to help me and they hung up quck. BAD SERVICE

  • Eduardo Hernandez

PSA: They no longer do walk in passport services on Saturdays. Nothing available 4 weeks out, so the US government doing what they do best, providing terrible service. Oddly my mailman in this area is awesome. Hence the 3 stars.

  • Sogol Mohsenzadegan

Terrible experience! Bunch of incompetent people that don't know what the hell they're doing! Been looking for my package for the past week and still don't have it. Then they accused me of not checking my mailbox or front porch!

  • Wook Chung

No one working in the passport office during business hours. Excuse given was the "computer has frozen" but the person in front had no problems wrapping up their application. Almost feels like the staff is on a coffee break.

  • Raghav Ayyamani

The staff were very helpful. They tried their best to serve as fast as they could. The postal envelopes are not marked properly. People always end up getting the wrong ones. A little care there would help avoiding confusion

  • Aiyana Acevedo

The WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I called to get confirmation about my passport appointment and the woman was extremely rude and hung up early with a “mhm”. They need to hire better staff. Ridiculous.

  • Chloë Li

They have done an excellent job helping me to stop my package being returned to sender. The counter tellers were nice and friendly. I noticed that the USPS are trying hard to improve their services. Good job!

  • Vera S.

Called and said wait time was between 30-40 minutes. I waited over an hour and still no one picked up. This is not the first time. Last time I physically had to go to the branch just to talk to someone.

  • Tom chiang

Lightning fast passport service with appointment. Finished the process in 10 min. Recommend to anyone who needs. Make sure bring original photocopy of driver license and birth certificate for minors.

  • Soosk D

Warning ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ Warning ⚠️⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️Warning ⚠️ The Robertsville usps location will steal your packages! Avoid this location at all cost!!! You've been warned! Please take a look at my proof.

  • Raechelle Medellin

I've always had positive experiences at this post office. When the line is long, they open extra counters. The manager and staff are friendly which isn't always the case at USPS branches.

  • Alireza Samimi

I had a package that did not have my apt address on it and they wanted to return it back. I called their number to ask them to correct the address. They never answered the phone.

  • Brandon Stevens

Do not use this office for passport services. They lost all my wife's original documents and take no responsibility for what happened.
