"Didn't hardly have to queue, but security was a bit hit and miss with people being missed for wrist bands"
One of the best big venues in the UK. Great bars and food options within. Yes it's pricey but all venues are. So just reviewing the venue itself - the main arena is great and it always has brilliant sound quality. I usually need earplugs in smaller venues throughout Brum, but here I've never needed them and the audio is very clear.
Visiting this arena was surreal. Thousands of seats, refreshments available, good speakers, massive 4k screens. The seats can be a little bit uncomfortable but that all depends on how long the event is. I personally attended the light upon light winter conference and it was fantastic.
Visited to see the Chemical Brothers. Excellent arena, great organization. Approached it via canal, beautiful. Reasonable prices. Cleanest toilets I have ever encountered at an arena. I love this arena. Will visit again. And of course Tom and Ed were excellent. Magic night.
Great venue. Clean & spacious. Parking was good with a multi storey for a big truck and nearby. Felt secure with all the security around. The main event was excellent, Good times tour with s club did not disappoint. High energy, loved them. Great seats & comfortable.
Didn't hardly have to queue, but security was a bit hit and miss with people being missed for wrist bands. Good sound, easy getting in and out. Food and drink pierced ridiculously expensive, but that seems to be the way now. £8 pint outside of London.
Volume was too high and seating was uncomfortable for the price paid for tickets. I wonder how many ears were damaged yesterday. Getting out of the arena was interesting I dread to think what would happen if there was an emergency. Everyone
Staff were fantastic! Being disabled and very anxious about visiting somewhere new, a lady greeted me before even reaching the queue and escorted me in. There is loads of food and drink vendors to choose from and although busy, queues went
Saw the Hollywood Vampires. What a great night! Brilliant show. Only small complaint would be that the audio wasn't very clear. The music drowned out the words. But Alice and the Vampires gave a great performance as ever with their drummer
Came here for the first time to see blink-182, a great venue with large space and good sound quality. Lots of theatrics happening with the stage which added to the atmosphere! Queue time was very short which was great too, would recommend.
A family visit last night to see the Strictly Come Dancing Tour , not been to this arena in about 8 years so not sure what to expect. The parking ️ was easy , located underneath the venue. Not cheap at £12 for the show but you know it
Went to see Mo Gilligan’s show and had a blast. The atmosphere was electric and the comedians were on top form. Great to see how far he’s come since I first saw him. Axel Blake was the stand out performer of the night, first time seeing
Nice small arena. Sound is great and the seat relatively comfortable. Food and drrink options are also pretty good. Major downside is no cloakroom. When you're standing to watch a gig but it's 2°C
Fantastic venue for a concert. Even at the back you still get a brilliant view. Drinks were fairly priced and a big shout out to the bar staff and security teams who were very professional.
Went for the strictly live tour and actually had no issues queuing to get in, found our seats easily and everything was well organised. Seats weren’t too far away and the sound was good.
We saw Bring me the Horizon here in January - Arena was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful. Sound was amazing and overall a super concert experience …
Went to watch strictly on a very wet and windy night. Staff were excellent very well organised, security professionally done and queues managed quickly on entry and food and drink
Get a show cube! After visiting several concerts here, the cube was by far the most comfortable experience I've had. Going forward, I'll be looking at cube tickets!
Went to the strictly come dancing tour,I went in on my mobility scooter, staff very helpful, great views and plenty of merchandise available and eatery and drinks.
Great venue. Ample parking on site with need to leave to get to the arena. Easy train access with Birmingham international only a 5 minute walk under cover.
