I highly recommend James! He is nothing but professional, friendly, and greatly priced. If there is ever anything additional that may need to be done on a service, he will always call you first to check if you're happy with this first. You will never experience unexpected charges once the service is done. After my most recent service he suggested I drive the car for a few days after the service was complete, as we thought there was issues with the transmission. He just wanted us to check there was no issues with the car afterwards before he charged us. He has a heart of gold!! I will not be going anywhere else in Brisbane!

Rear wheel bearing replacement. James was much cheaper than all other quotes, and all the rave reviews indicated he's a very honest mechanic doing good work. He even quickly looked over my car and mentioned a few things that might need attention in the future. Much appreciated! He is busy and a one-man show though, it took quite a few phone calls to finally establish the quote and get it booked in because he's so busy and doesn't have anyone at the front desk. But definitely worth it in the end!

Started taking my car to James in 98’ cause I lived around the corner. I used to bring him a coffee cause it would be early morning when I finished shift work. He always went above and beyond and often never charged me cause I was an impoverished musician. I’m glad I can now pay him properly but he is always honest and fair priced. He has helped me source and purchase multiple reliable vehciles over the years for amazing prices. A good mechanic and a great person.

James is as great as all the other reviews state, he's a hard working and honest guy that will always offer you a fair price. As a backpacker I felt very safe and confident he was looking out for what was best for my interests rather than just the money like alot of other places. Stop your search for other mechanics right now - this is the one. I rarely post reviews but I had such a positive experience here that I felt that I must. James performed quality work on my car and did so very quickly. These guys are a rare breed of honest mechanics and they aren't going to try to sell you anything extra or rip you off. I cannot recommend them enough.

No good, go elsewhere. Booked for a service and was asked what he should look for. Should have known something was up when afterwards he only ran me through information regarding those issues. Worse, he didn't even do a good job of that as after I got the all clear from him, 500km later another mechanic found a fault after all. Shambles, don't bother

James is a legend! He took my car in on extreme late notice friday evening after it needed towing from being parked at the airport for 3 weeks. By Saturday afternoon James had my car back on the road. James communicated everything he was doing and was also very well priced. Can't thank him enough and would highly recommend to anyone!

After seeing good reviews about this mechanic I decided to ring up and ask advice about the fault with my car . All I got was a unprofessional response, he was rude over the phone and told me he would ring back with a quote which he never did. I would not recommend wasting your time going here !
