WEJ has a large school yard, with lots of play area. However, lots of it is restricted due to "rules". It has a nice (cheap) real stage with wings, corridors, etc. WEJ also has a nice courtyard in the middle of the school yard, which none ever uses. But, WEJ has bad teaching methods, relying heavily on outdated textbooks to "teach" math, and sometimes science. Teachers are bias, and it gets even worse. WEJ is one of the top schools in Kanata (for some reason), so WEJ is (or should) getting lots of funding, and WEJ is always appears to be broke, so what are they spending their money on? Teachers lie, and say that each cheap worn out plastic frisbee costs more than $25, etc. The boy's washroom was closed in early June and till the end of the school year (I wonder if they are ever going to open it). The teachers like to make your day miserable too. The school is also full of hundreds of rules that don't make sense, eg: "You're not allowed to go to the outer field unless you're playing soccer". Worst school ever.

I am now a teacher in another school, but did my first year university practicum at WEJ. I have seen quite a bit of elementary schools and I can tell you that WEJ was my best experience: the academic level is much higher than anywhere else since teachers don't have to spend 80% of their time on class management or behaviour problems. The kids do Math drills for fun at recess. High achiever kids in French immersion classes; very involved parent community with high expectations.

as a 4th grade male student in this school named john i can confidentially say the school is good but they dont have vending machines (my 2nd mom who my first mom doesnt know gave me allowance to spend on mountain dew so i can inflate my room with piss jugs, and play my favouriote game world of warcraft with my virtual boyfriend (hes a 20 year old hot french male i met on roblox clicker race))

My son joined the school in 2021 and have met two incredible wonderful teachers. Mr.Baird in Grade 5 and Mr. Osborne in Grade 6. They are so devoted to teaching and do their very best to help kids grow into independent thinking, responsible individuals. The principal and the administration team are also great! Shout out to Wej! You guys rock!

This school has some of the best teachers I have ever seen, especially for math. Mr.O was amazing and if he is seeing this I thank him. I can't say too much about other math teachers because I didn't have them for math, many others did though. Some of the teachers are biased and they don't have allot of paper (pet peeve).

Not good I mean most teachers are strict and there are snitch's in the school and I am glad to be going to earl of march and the only good teacher is Mr Jackson if it weren't for him i would give this school a 1 star because I had a really bad time there and lots of students are not appropriate.

It is a great school! i went there from grad 3 to 51 now i am in this school ut i online learning. the things i dont like are how the chromebooks are very slow and powerless. and also how that online school i dont even have the teachers from this school.. .but i go here! but is is a great school

Mr O if you're reading this I'm sorry for being a mentally young and annoying individual in your math classes in gr 5 -6
