Lovely day out with yourself or a whole bunch of friends. Thoroughly enjoyed the 20-min boat ride we took out on the lake. The water was calm and serene. But if you're prone to getting motion-sickness, just watching the tranquil water from the banks will also give you that same sense of peace.

I was at the lake for the Shanghai 70.3 triathlon. The water looks lovely and it’s a nice place to visit but after you swim in it there is black scum all over your face. It is really dirty too. There is a cool running track around the lake too.
