I went to this place to look at a vehicle they had advertised on kijiji. I brought my Snap-On Solus ultra scan tool from my toolbox at work (I'm a licensed tech). When the guy in the office saw the scan tool, his eyes went wide, he started shifting around, and he did not want me to scan the vehicle I came to purchase. He asked for proof of my journeyman's certificate (which I have in my wallet) Then he demanded that He hold onto my journeyman certificate, while I scanned the vehicle. A scan tool, does nothing to alter the vehicle in any way, it's only an interface to obtain any computer detected problems with the vehicle. So we went back and forth on this for a few seconds, and finally I asked - Do you want to try and sell me a car or what? It was..."Or what" because I got asked to leave the lot. Buyer Beware, if this greasy operator will not allow someone to properly look over a vehicle before purchase... what are they hiding? What was wrong with the car? Why make such a big deal of hooking a scan tool to a vehicle. I was looking for a very narrow style of vehicle and they happened to have one on the lot. I had been to 4 other dealers that day, and had not seen such shifty body language and guilty side looks to each other at any other place. I ended up buying the exact model but 3 model years newer at the same price point at another dealer.

Purchased a 2013 Acadia from Chad about 3 weeks ago now, and, while the vehicle did require some repairs, overall the service that Chad provided me, the friendliness of both him and AJ was very welcoming. I know at the end of the day, most employees at car dealerships just want to move inventory, but Chad always returned phone calls, answer questions, and even helped me with setting up financing, which I did not end up needing. I have been a neighbor of the dealership for quite a few years now, and their property is always well maintained and organized. I have never seen vehicles on their lot that should not be sold. A lot of car dealerships that you go by now, have the yards so full that it's like a giant Tetris game to be able to get vehicles out. When the yards are not full it can be off-putting, as you wonder if you can really get to a vehicle you want to look at or test drive. You also see on a lot of other dealerships cars that they are just trying to make a dollar off of, that don't look very good. This is not the case with AJ's lot.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of tiny little car lots. These guys had a truck I was looking for and I made arrangements to meet up on a day off. My days off are very spontaneous so I couldn't even tell them till I was on my way. I got there and carried my conversation on with Chad about the truck. I took it for a test drive and was able to educate Chad on a few features of the truck not alot of people are aware that it could do. I've now been driving my new to me truck for 1 week and I honestly couldn't be more happier with my purchase. If your looking for a good deal, go see Chad. He listened to what I was after. He understood and delivered. My truck has been dealer maintained it's whole life. I took it to my mechanic shop and got them to go through the entire truck. They didn't find anything wrong with it. Everything Chad showed me on the carfax report was perfect. Thanks again guys! Still going strong! 2 months later! Lol

Please look deeply into the review section, you will find it's not that great of a dealership. Drove 1300kms to Edmonton to check out a vehicle which was not as described. Prior to coming to check the vehicle I asked multiple times if it needed anything and also asked for every minor detail of whats wrong with the vehicle. Upon arrving and seeing the conditon was not as described and the vehicle was overheating and coolant light was on. I was told " I should have been more specific on the phone when asking for vehicle condition". It's common sense when someone is driving out 1300kms they expect to be told about very detail of the vehicle especially major problems such as overheating. I also placed a deposit to hold the vehicle which offcourse they didn't refund. I'm glad I didn't purchase a vehicle from them. Please be aware unless your local don't bother making a trip out there to check out there inventory.

Went to go look at a vehicle that looked immaculate in the pictures..definitely was not even close.. asking price was way out to lunch, required a deposit to take it for a test drive, booked an appointment but didn't even know my name... informed me that the price was negotiable in a message, yet when we started indicating that there were things wrong and that it wasn't worth the list price the sales person got defensive and rude and told us that the price was now firm and there was no room to budge. Only thing listed on the inspection sheet that was wrong was the windshield... There was definitely more things wrong with the vehicle than just needing a windshield. Buyer Beware 100%, do your research, look the vehicles over and get as much information as you can! (if you can even get any out of them)

Be Cautious ! I purchased a car here and it was one of the worst experienced I’ve ever had. They put my through hell. I learned that I will never buy from a used car dealership ever again. They lied to me and when I called them for assistance they refused to help or listen. They were aware that I was new to the province and I was vulnerable young women and took advantage of that. The cost in repairs would have been tripled than what the car originally costed . I almost lost my wheel when taking the car to the mechanic to get safety on the highway and I had my my newborn child in the car. They couldn’t care less and refused to give me my money back. They stated “ not my fault you have a kid” . It was pretty disturbing to say the least.

I was a bit scared at the beginning from the negative reviews I was reading before I visit them but they had the best deal in town on a specific vehicle I was looking for, so I took the risk and was the best risk I've taken, for those who say that the staff don't care, it's a no pressure sale strategy, they got cars for every category and budget, and from what I've seen they're all pretty clean and they come with an AMVIC inspection, going back to them soon to get an SUV for the winter, They beat all the prices, with a small margin of profit and big amount of sales, being business and customer service specialist, I rated this dealership as a 5 stars, keep up the good work.

We purchased a car here Ford Focus 2014 and paid in full 7500 but ever since we bought the car we keep coming back to mechanics cause it had to fix something and when the mechanics do the DTC scanner report they found all the history failure code it says it’s been there even before and they just clear it when we got the car specially in transmission and air bag failure they didn’t Mention anything when we bought it (of course )and the mechanical assessment says complies and clear but doesn’t look like complied to me It doesn’t even 6 months yet the car is not drivable because of the transmission it’s really a waste of money we feel ripped off !!!!

This morning June 9 2020 A lazy guy with no desire or breathing half attended and half answered questions without encouragement or desire to sell. In the end I decided to buy an SUV it had exactly 6,800 dollars. In my bag and the SUV was 2,500 or 3,000 Dlls I had already seen online, when asked to open the vehicle and see its engine and interiors. He said I needed an appointment for that !! Incredible !! THEY DON’T LET YOU TEST DRIVE VEHICLES!!!! We made an appointment to come look at and drive two vehicles while driving from out of town. Explained we just had a bad experience and lost a major amount of money on a private sale of a car and need something reliable. Salesman said “you pick one of the two, we sit down make a deal, then you drive” Why would I sign papers before getting behind the wheel to ensure it’s in good condition. Huge waste of our time!!! Extremely frustrated with how they operate. Just lost a cash sale because they don’t want to put a little time in. Would not recommend!!!

I bought this car from Italy by selecting it on the internet for my son who lives in Alberta. The Car was in good condition as described. The seller was very kind to my son at the time of delivery, allowed a road test and the various checks requested and gave various advice (first car for my son), also adding a 3-month warranty. After a month of use, the car works properly and we have scheduled the normal maintenance to be done for a car with this age and Km. We are Satisfied about the car and the sell services of 780 Cars

We bought a used vehicle at 780 Cars and were told it was inspected and had brand new brakes, 2 months later took it in to be inspected and the vehicle hadn't had proper maintenance for 4+ years, and had faulty aftermarket brakes installed that almost did not pass inspection (they were also not new at all, dealership lied). Cost has been well over 3k so far (we could have bought a second used car!) and the dealership will not answer/return our calls despite saying they would connect us with "their mechanic."

We got our 2006 free star 7 passenger van in august very nice car sale men answered all our questions made us feel at home and the price very very good everything works as said on the inspection... ( well one thing was said to be broken, but later found out that it wasn't nice..so we are very happy to have went there, we are new too Alberta and need a vehicle..we coming back for our second one very very soon (suv) now and I'm sure we will be walking out very happy customers... recommend highly ......

Terrible car dealership and slimy practices. A clown named Chad tried to lie / withhold information on an SUV transmission failing. Tried to push a price and "inspection" prior to driving. Chad implies you are an idiot if you didn't think there would be major powertrain issue because the "price was really good". Priced like a dealer with the quality of a shady Facebook marketplace car flipper. BUYER BEWARE. Don't waste your time here. Find a different dealer. Trust me, save yourself the headache.

Came here looking for a second car loan and Gus got it for me!! Cars are kept really clean and inspected and they take care of there customers with any needs that they may need. Purchased a car for 5500. However despite the assessment and carfax, when I took it in for an inspection it needs more work that blue book value×5 Things spray painted to cover rust, quick tricks to get it sold. Buyer beware. Make sure you know what you're doing. I didn't and had time contraints so it's partly on me. However, I wouldn't recommend if you have other options. I though thousands into the wind as I was desperate to get back to work in Banff.

I was a first time car buyer. I went to a couple of other used car dealerships and had terrible experiences. However, I had great an experience working with the friendly staff at 780 Cars. There was no pressure sales tactics and the sale was stress free. Staff was very transparent with price, finance rate and fees. Even drove me to the registry. After shopping through GO Auto dealers was left lacking, features not working yet they still try to sell. I was unsure of used vehicle dealers, yet they had all the history of the vehicle and made sure it was in a condition to sell. Great staff, they clean off their vehicles no matter if a sale is pending. Went to check the oil, everything new and clean, that JiffyLube said it was great. Changed my mind for sure.

Be weary of the vehicles they have on the lot. To be fair my experience may be an isolated one, but after arriving to check out a truck they had I discovered that it truly was in a poor state. Along with what I saw for myself, the battery was completely dead which showed me it was somewhat neglected. On the positive side, the person who was at the lot (I cant remember his name) was extremely friendly and helpful.

I have been trying to get an answer about a vehicle that they have for sale. After numerous weeks and emails (most ignored completely), I am no closer to getting a straight answer. Complete lack of customer service. They have ignored my emails and simply not answered or given me the runaround where "the information requested is on the website". Good little used car lot. They communicated well over email with me and we're flexible when I wanted to hold a vehicle with deposit. Their location is pretty brutal for parking, but they are nice guys and they have a great little office. I did my research from out of town beforehand and got the car facts and inspection emailed to me ahead of time. I had a really good experience.

$500 deposit to test drive a car that I had just found out was REBUILT, which WASN'T advertised. Was told "it drives fine". What a joke. (Update - first of all there was no crutches, just a cane and secondly, the injury was to my left foot which I showed the salesman which was not broken as I was wearing shoes. No need to lie, it was bad service plain and simple.)

Bought a truck and within 100kms of use found out that the rear end is going, the engine has a hard misfire and the starter is on its way out. Expecting to find sawdust holding my transmission together. Stay away from this dump. This is partly my fault for not giving it a real good 1/2 hour road test, but still. I got ripped off bigtime.

Purchased a 1999 Ford Explorer with 177k for 2500$. After only 200 kilometers front differential blew up. On the inspection only things listed were crack in windshield and ABS code due to sensor. Called them to see if anything could be done, they stated it was wear and tear and nothing could be done. Stay away...

Was not told that the stereo would only work at random. A few more problems with the interior that were not mentioned at all. Car was advertised as "never smoked in" but cigarette burns in the back seats say otherwise. Took it for a free inspection and got a long list of issues that were not mentioned.
