Visited this bakery on a sunny trip to Granville Island. The man working here was very helpful, giving us his personal recommendations, as well as free samples of their fresh bread! I thoroughly enjoyed my pistachio croissant and my friend loved her almond croissant!
Best cookies in the city. A bold statement, I know, but I was lucky enough to be raised by a mom who makes incredible cookies, and I make pretty darn good cookies myself. On my best cookie day, however, I can’t compete with a cookie from
Whenever I come to Granville Island, the Bread Affair is a must stop for their delish croissants. Believe me, you thought you walked into a Parisian bakery as a buttery smell waffles in the air. The freshly baked pastries will have you
Really nice staff and good smelling bakery. The cinnamon bun was good. Don’t recommend their iced coffee tho, it was watered down and already comes with milk and sweetener so can’t make adjustments.
Nice vibe: nice latte, good music, friendly staff. Matcha latte: a little bit watery-milky, not strong matcha flavor. Energy bite: delightfully nutty, chocolatey, and coconut flavor
A must visit boutique bakery while you are in Granville Island. They offer a wide variety of artisan bread, cookies, pastries and Sandwiches and their staff is so welcoming.
Amazing bakery with some delicious, unique goods. We got the salted caramel bread pudding, which was Delicious and highly recommended with a nice coffee.
I cannot say enough good things about this bakery! It's an absolute gem, and every visit leaves me with a smile on my face and a satisfied sweet tooth.
Decent cookies… they were thick and soft kind, more like a cookie shaped muffin. Other pasties (tried croissant, scone, and bread pudding) were ok.
