My wife and I finally made our way to A-1 over the weekend and we are so glad we did! It's a great little neighborhood spot with great beers and delicious bites. Aaron was working behind the bar and was really friendly and told us about how they have been changing/updating A-1 since spring. We hadn't been in before so can't compare, but he said it is a big change from what the place used to be. I'm still getting used to the idea of having a bar attached to a convenience store, but that's my problem, not theirs. It's actually super convenient and I wish that we lived a little closer! We'll definitely be back!

Great neighborhood spot for a beer and light bar food. They have an excellent beer selection and helpful staff. They have events most nights as well. Half of the building is a craft beer store and the other half is a small bar where you can drink beer on tap or pay a fee to drink whatever you bought in the store. The bar has around 6 to 8 tables and another 10 to 15 seats at the bar.

My friend Tom and I stopped in here before dinner at the adjacent Szechuan restaurant, and were both very impressed with available tap selections. We will be back to sample the eclectic food menu here as well! FYI, for individuals partially sight impaired as am I, and can't read the videoscreen menu of brew selections, I discovered an online website selection that I CAN read, which they apparently update regularly...very helpful! Thank you.

This is a good little neighborhood place that if you don't know you could miss it. Even if you drive by everyday you would miss it. I did that for a long time. They have a good beer selection, good food and a staff that make you feel welcome. And for an added bonus, on Friday night they bring in a different brewery to show off thier beers. This is a great after work stop when you need to blow off steam.

Love this neighborhood gem. I come here often for the trivia nights on Wednesdays and enjoy the local, "hole in the wall" vibe. The people are super friendly and surprisingly enough, they've been gathering a much better selection of delicious beers than Chuck's as of late. Big thanks to Jeff for his wonderful piano playing and singing!!

A1 is a no frills, come in sit down enjoy a pint of good beer kind of place. They have a good selection of IPAs and other offerings, including some big beers like barleywines. Basic, well priced, and tasty food menu. Great bottle selection. It's been my spot to stop in and drink a beer for the last several years.

it took me a year of living just down the street to actually walk into this place and once I did, I didn't want to leave. Food, music, locals, company.....great establishment. kids welcome. live music, open mic and karaoke. Beer and Wine, Tobacco and Lotto and an ATM and a mini mart too!

Love this place! Great selection of beers, friendly staff, and the live music is always a bonus when we catch it. They are dog friendly as long as your pup is leashed and well behaved. I love the option of being able to buy something from the front of the store to drink in the back bar!

Yes, me and my friend were treated to an awesome time at this establishment called A 1 Shop. North Greenwood area.The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the server/ bartender named Hayley checks all the boxes. I urge you to check this spot out.

Reminded me of what you find under the couch amidst the dust bunnies. They do have a good selection of wine and beer to check out for to go but the actual stage and bar area has a no thank you vibe.

Great selection of local and national flavor... and some stuff you likely haven't heard of. Also, they have a good tasting area and pre-covid had live music. Also if you've seen "FireFlower" hot sauce in local taphouses... ask for the guy who makes it, here!

Love this place. It's as if they've curated it to only carry the good beers - and that they do. Good imports, a wide selection of tasty dark beers, and my favorite Midwest brewery - Jolly Pumpkin. A winner for that alone. Buy your beer here!

The staff here are very friendly and not at all bothered to pen-write to Deaf/HH costumers or use CC on their TV. ;)The atmosphere has both cozy and fun vibes. The variety of drinks and very decent prices are awesome too. You would return!

How to write the truth? So cool. And cozy, homey, down to earth. Did I mention 20 taps? 15+ bubblies? Hundreds of bottles you can consume here? Live events a few nights a week. Piano trivia on Wednesdays, 7pm. I dare to go once. LMK.

Had a great time here it's a chill dog friendly environment with live music and local ciders and beers of all types for a reasonable price and food for you to munch on, I also really did appreciate our bartender very nice man.

Wow, I came in to get some fresh hops and they had an entire cooler full of different varieties. The guy behind the counter suggested some faves. Amazing place to find all the stuff you can't find anywhere else.

Great local hangout in north Greenwood. Lets in outside food, has live music sometimes, and does a lot of brewers night events where you can win a cheat. Tap selection is amazing and rotates often.

We live near by and come here all the time, the drinks are so good (including ok tap, and in bottle) and the food is cheap and filling. Always fun events like trivia and karoake too

Great selection with some unusual selections. I picked up a six of Giggly Blonde from Gig Harbor Brewing Co. I plan to return for some time at the bar and pinball.

Karaoke Saturday 7-10pm - covid safe! Great beer on tap or $2 corkage fee for anything in the store. The prices are extremely reasonable so still cheap with fee.

Best taco Tuesday in the North End!!!!! The beer selection is fabulous and everyone that works there is consistently friendly, which is hard to find in Seattle
