Ugo was awesomely helpful and was able to get the job booked in quickly. His knowledgable, no-frills explanation of all things roofing was a welcoming start, and he listened carefully to help work out what we needed. He didn't try to sell us a complete roof replacement or get a credit card number over the phone. I knew once I had him on the line these would be our guys. It was such a relief to have some honest communication after being dealt with by sales people with obviously little knowledge of the trade, when I had contacted other companies. Gary and Andrew were absolutely fantastic. The property owner has dealt with a lot of trades people but she's never found any that have been so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. She saw on your website, you aim to have a "can do" attitude - Gary and Andrew did just that. Not only did they fix the immediate roofing problem but pointed out issues that the property owner was completely unaware of. Also you honoured the quote even though it was a bit more complicated than originally appeared. She'd never seen that before. Thank you.

Had quote for a small roof leak 1. Told that a leak detection would need to be performed and any small repairs required would be performed told rarely would a second visit be needed. 2. A team of 3 came to inspect the roof for a leak detection, after more than an hour, claimed the roof had been fixed but there were multiple other problems. 3. No improvement of the leak subsequently. Business informed and then invoiced for a second visit and issued with a quote to replace a major section of roof. Given the nature of the subsequent large repair after initially quoting a small repair I decided for a second opinion. Got someone I knew to look at it and within an hour found a single leak point which was promptly sealed with silicone. Services were performed as discussed however but the solution provided was not correct for the problem and was significantly more expensive than it needed to be. Overall spent more than $500 with no resolution to my roof leak. Be wary about hiring this business.

I have hired AB Property Services several times to repair roof leak and other maintenance work in my commercial property. I found Andrew has performed well above my expectations in many occasions. In the two occasions I contacted Andrew to fix a roof leak, Andrew had quickly located the source of the leak and the leak was subsequently repaired. Not only he fixed the original problem, he also made recommendations on how to make changes to prevent future problem. I also find very comfortable working with Andrew because he will always explain to me in great details how the job is done. Andrew always sent me photos once the job was completed. In one occasion when I hired Andrew to repair some concrete cracks on a warehouse, he even sent me pictures of the entire repair job from start to finish. I believe Andrew and his team in AB Property Services have provided me with high quality workmanship in maintaining my property and I highly recommend this company to the public.

I had to give this company a star to be able to provide feedback. I would have given them nothing, however. I sent them plans for my renovation and spent s lot of time detailing plumbing and electrical etc. after an initial request for plans I had, in fact, already given them, I didn't hear from them for over 2 weeks. I chased them and was told by somebody called Ugo, to speak to Andrew, who was the person I thought I had initially contacted (confused). Andrew hadn't even looked at the plans - didn't know anything about them. He said they had been inundated with quotes and would get to it when they could. Perhaps they could have mentioned that from the beginning. In my experience, most trades are bad communicators. Stick with someone who at least gets back to you. Don't waste your time with these guys.

They used a subcontractor to fix our roof, then when we questioned the work (they didn't do what we were actually quoted for, and did not fix the leak) we were told AB had no responsibility and we would need to deal with the contractor directly. He retired shortly after the job so that wasn't possible. When we asked Andrew, the owner of AB, to resolve the issue, we were outright lied to and told he was "retiring from roofing" and not accepting more work. And then when I questioned that (the website still offers roofing services, after all) he was unapologetically rude then hung up on me. You're better off just finding your own contractor to do the work. It'll be cheaper, plus you know who you're actually dealing with.

I have suffered a leaky roof for years, with a number of unsuccessful attempts at repair, but Andrew's diligent detective work tracked down the real fault, not just the superficial one. He was very thorough and professional, and I appreciated his detailed explanation of the problem. Although this turned out to be greater than first thought, and needed more work than had been quoted for, the company was generous and only charged me for the extra material, not the extra time taken. I was impressed with their determination to get to the bottom of the problem and get it fixed once and for all. They did that and, at last, I no longer dread wet weather. I am very happy to recommend AB Property Services.

I stumbled across AB Property by accident as my roof was leaking badly and AAMI had sent three sub-contractors to look at it and they'd all failed to fix it. Then AB came along and fixed it quickly and very professionally! I've since used them for all our property related work eg new terracotta tile roof, retiling in bathroom (where they went to great lengths to get the tiles I wanted), new front fence, outside painting and repairing/replacement of damaged boards and a dog proof fence in my garden. They are always very responsive, let me know when they are coming and if they've been delayed and they do excellent work and they tidy up after themselves. I can highly recommend them.

I obtained a quote from AB Property Services to re-bed and re-point my roof, and replace some broken tiles and rusted valleys. The quote was very competitive but I didn't get an opportunity to take it up immediately. When I did eventually get a chance to proceed, the service I received was fantastic. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and efficient, and they made every effort to work around access problems caused by council works. The guys on-site were very skilled, and in the end I was left with a great looking roof. Bill paid, happy customer ! I will have no hesitation at all in contacting AB Property Services again for more work on my house.

We have engaged AB Property Services recently to replace a section of the gutter/fascia of our house. The members of their team who've been working on this job were very professional, they knew exactly as what they were doing, and taken their approach very seriously. They had discussed some unforeseen problems with us along the way ( such as some of the rafters dipped due to aging of the house ) and came up some very practical ideas to tackle this. I arranged with AB Property Services to book a carpenter to perform some work that we needed done and Alex (the carpenter) turned up as arranged and perfectly on time to fit our new front door and replace the architrave around the doorway. He put in a real solid day of work and I have to say that I am most impressed with the job he did, which is certainly top notch. His work is absolutely first class and I have no hesitation in giving him my highest recommendation. My sincere thanks to Andrew and Alex for a job very well done!

I have called AB property Services in a couple of times now and couldn’t recommend them highly enough - a few months back Andrew answered the phone promptly late on a Friday night and came to our rescue and repaired our ceiling from a pipe burst on the second floor and flooding, and has recently also helped us out with some repairs on our garage roof. Great quality work, efficient service and also explains everything that needs doing so you understand what you are paying for. Thanks guys!

We've used AB Property Services over the past few years to re-do our electrical mains, replace our roof and most recently replace all the weatherboards at our house. Andrew, Jarrod and and team are great to work with, the pricing is very competitive and the service is fantastic. Nothing is too big or small. I've used AB lots of times over many years to keep our Brunswick period weatherboard home in good shape . Andy and his team have fixed my leaky roof, some bathroom problems, various window frames and other timber work, and even my front fence. Yes, I've had quotes from other tradies etc but I usually get Andy and his team. Genuine good guys that get it fixed for the right price. I think they have actually saved me money with their advice. AB Property Services has worked on our home before, but this week’s roof repairs were the biggest we’ve ever had to do. Andy and his team helped us understand the problem and the best solution. COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORGANISATION MORE HIGHLY!!! Slate roof with a huge hole; pending heavy storms expected that evening. Called them at around 6pm. Got a committment from a chap named Andrew that he'd be here at 10pm (yes, at night). Came right on time and affected the required repairs before the rain came. Polite, professional and effective. Cannot ask for more than that.
