The bedroom door latch broke with the door in the closed position at our 82-year-old house (no idea how old the latch is). After removing the handle and trying everything I could think of to get the latch to work, I watched some YouTube videos of professional locksmiths struggling with this challenge, I called Jack at ABC Lock and Safe because he was listed on Google maps as being closest to my house. It turned out to be a tricky fix, but he stayed with it, finally drilling the latch into oblivion to save the door. He replaced a latch that worked with the existing doorknob. Jack is amiable, professional, and quick to move onto the next solution instead of sticking to a solution that's not working. Total time from phone call to fixed door was a little over four hours. Charge: $90 for visit. $75 labor. $15 part. Total $180.

I contacted Jack, Owner/Principal of ABC Lock and Safe LLC to have a broken –off key removed from my front door lock and to also have the door handle/latch adjusted, as the door did not properly close without using the door bolt to secure the door from opening. Jack came to my house the next day, removed the lock cylinder to remove the broken off key, adjusted the door latch on both the primary door and the steel screen door in front of the primary door. He also lubricated all the mechanisms so that both door latches are now properly adjusted and working well. He did great work and made sure that both door latches and bolts were working like new. I was impressed by the dedication to his work and would highly recommend ABC Lock and Safe to anyone looking for a well-skilled, experienced locksmith.

I met Jack the owner serendipitously when I had a sudden flat tire one night and found a safe place in front of his house. He immediately came out to see if he could help and over the next 2 hours used his own air compressor to find the leak, attempted to change my tire with one of his own he happened to have on the premise (which required his skills to unlock the hubcap), provided a safe restroom, and checked on me periodically until AAA arrived. Just salt-of-the-earth person and proof that despite polarized politics and rising crime and distrust in the world, there are still good people doing good deeds. If I ever need a locksmith, this is the place and it should be for you, too.

Jack was absolutely amazing to me and my family when our keys, wallet, and phone were stolen out of a locker at the pool. We had no way to get home and no way to get INTO our home, plus two hungry and tired kids... and we were all in our swimsuits. Not great! I'm so grateful to Jack for helping us to the extent that he did and for seeming to actually care that we got home and were OK. (We are! Thank you!!) As a cherry on top, the keys he cut for our new door locks are smoother than our original ones were! Jack is a true craftsman who loves what he does and provides exceptional service. He repaired and cleaned my old school Schlage locks and they work like new. I appreciate his decision to restore the existing locks rather than trashing them and replacing with an inferior product. It would have been easier for Jack to toss them, but he is a person of integrity, so he put in the extra time to make them like new. His price was reasonable and he was able to respond to my request for help in a timely manner. I will definitely call Jack again should I need a locksmith.

OH MY GOODNESS! THIS COMPANY WAS MY SAVIOR! I called ABC Lock & Safe on a Friday evening right before they closed. My key had broken off inside my lock and my dog was also locked inside my apartment. A man named Jack came to my rescue within 15 minutes. He was able to get my broken half of my key out of the lock and also made me a new copy! Thank you X1000. I highly recommend. Chose the nearest open locksmith for my lockout emergency around 6pm, and the technician came within 15 minutes. He cared, moved quickly, and burned off all the stress I had with his positive attitude. My car keys slipped into the trunk of my locked car and I had my 2 year old with me stuck in a parking lot. It was an emergency and the services costed accordingly. I didn’t like the price, but it shouldn’t have been for any less.

Locked out of my really old chevy blazer on Christmas Eve, my favorite thing was that he gave me a quote right away when I asked, didn't say 'oh we will give you an estimate when a lock-smith gets there', he was completely straight forward with me. On top of that he was extremely nice and he was really fast when coming to my location. Would highly recommend and use over and over again!

I’ve had great experiences with Jack. First, he came out to unlock & re-key the garage door in our new house. Then, he returned to re-key the house locks to a single key. As a bonus, he shared a lot his knowledge about locks in general and specifically on the door hardware that came with the house.
