Spent 36 minutes in line to deposit cash. After finally getting to a teller, the teller deposited the cash and asked me to sign the deposit slip and confirm the account details. All good… I thought. He then asked for my name address etc which I gave. At the very end of this, he then asked for ID which I had left in the car. He checked with 2 supervisors and came back and withdrew all the funds and proceeded to tell me without ID he could not deposit. This should have been mentioned at the start of the transaction. Not after spending 10 minutes doing the transaction. I went to the car and came back only to wait in queue for another 25 minutes, they wouldn’t even let me jump the queue to re do it. Not the fault of the branch, but for ANZ to cut costs and decide that a 10-15 minute wait in line is acceptable and thus only run two tellers 5 days a week is disgraceful. I feel very sorry for the branch staff who would cop slack from irate customers daily. Whilst in the queue there were 2 customers getting very fed up and attempting to influence me and others to join them in their angry protest. Not great. Billions in profit and can’t even have 3 tellers on in peak periods. If not for the lovely lady who served me the second time it would have been a 1 star. Bank reviews mean nothing and people won’t read this or think twice as we need banks. But I am glad I don’t bank with ANZ personally as this situation was terrible. Just do as much banking as you can on your own and pray you never need to require assistance from a real person!

If you’re after a branch that can do anything business related this is not the branch for you. We have been attempting to have someone’s signature added to the accounts for a non for profit group, this has been going on since December 2022, they are still not added (March now). Not only that they were told not to remove someone until this person had been successfully added, did they do this? No, so said not for profit has not had access to their money for the better part of three months and people have been paying for things out of their own pockets to keep things running, let’s not talk about people taking their wages either. We will now be removing our money and term deposit and going elsewhere, that’s if they’ll let us take our money out … seriously… The above doesn’t even mention how many times numerous members of our group have gone into the branch in an attempt to have this sorted out. Six times is a guess, likely more. If ZERO stars were possible this would be what the ANZ would getting. What an absolute joke and debarcle! Worth noting, 11/04/23 - issue appeared to have been sorted a week ago. But alas, we went to do a payment yesterday. Back to the same old same old. No internet access. WE WILL BE CHANGING NOW!

I have an account with ANZ since the day I first arrived to Australia. Today I had the worst experience. The staff just discriminated the client with labelling as illegal, migrant and having a non compliant documentation with false information and regarded as ANZ banking policy. In fact the docmuneta were all certified by the Australian government. I simply requested the copy of the policy and he then denied to have a copy of the policy. Asked for the Manager and was asked to wait, waited for an hour he didn’t show up. Very surprised as how come bank as ANZ can hire people as such.

I’d definitely give these guys a 0 star if I could. Went there a day before our holiday with my girlfriend to get access to our savings account with ANZ. The lady made us sign multiple forms and and stated you’ll get access to the account straight away or within a few hours. It’s been a whole week since and we still don’t have access to our account… as it’s a public holiday weekend for Easter there is no banks open as well. The staff at ANZ Cranbourne is clearly either lazy or haven’t been trained to do their job.

Unhelpful staff. Just needed a bank account closed coz we don’t use it on a weekend and seems like there are just on a rush to get home. Tells me to come back on a weekday when closing an account take probably 5minutes to do in their system. Disappointing staff who seems not interested in simple banking unless your there to do big transactions. Not recommended at all! Go elsewhere this location has unfriendly staff who aren’t there to help. Need a proper manager to run the place. ‍♂️

WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO Went into this branch and made a booking to set up an account. Showed my id so my details were correct. I called to reschedule my appointment but today when we showed up on time we were told that due to the person on the phone who had changed the spelling of my name that someone else had taken our appointment and we had to wait a further 20 mins. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. We have taken our business elsewhere and will tell everyone I know how disgusting the service was.

DO NOT use the ATM here. I went to withdraw cash, transaction was processing for a while. Was then given an Error message saying that my card failed to eject. Bit awkward when you have to pay for a haircut you just got. Customer service line for ANZ was useless, had to cancel my card and now have to wait for a new one. Security in the centre said this has happened to multiple people previously. Fix your ATM.

Really bad service. Staff Don't want to assist you at all. 31/8/2020 The day I went there and this will be my last visit. They will ignore you if you are even 30min before closing time. Staff Will make some excuses. Trying to close all my accounts with ANZ and move with another bank. (No service no business ANZ ) And thank you for service you provide me for 12 years

Been ANZ customer for over 10+ years and 2 home loans. As interest rates are going up, went into Cranbourne branch, waited in line for r 10 mins, to discuss our home loan. Was basically fobbed off by the female teller, saying that we should just stay put with our loan, and deal with the raising rates next year ‍♀️ …

I had a huge issue with one of our accounts as it involves a deadline on our settlement. But he assisted us through the end until it got resolved. Such an excellent customer service. Went in to talk to someone about the interest rates and got told we are fully booked and can’t help. There were couple of staff sitting there doing nothing on their computer. I heard before from my friends about the useless customer service from ANZ. Useless staff and bank. Will never ever bank with them again.

What is the point of a branch open on a Saturday without a teller service? Person at front with iPad, did not offer any other way to deposit cheque. I knew I could through the ATM, so l did it myself. You should have a solution to the question, not just say no. Learn some customer service skills.

Terrible. ATM is always broken, unable to deposit. One time it took my fifty dollars because ATM is a faulty and after several complaints the bank is aware their ATM doesn't work deposit sometimes, still have not made efforts to fix it. Theres commonwealth bank next door. Thanks anz for nothing

Charith ANZ's branch manager in cranbourne Park is gem . He could fix everything I believe. He has helped me every single time. Rest of the staff even their call centre staff is useless. They don't know what they are doing. Without Charith ANZ has no existence.

I just tried to deposit $ 200 into the ATM and the ATM got jammed and took the money. And told me to contact the branch. This is not exceptable. Especially that the $ 200 was my daughters pocket money.
