Im a new driver and single mom and wanted to have my car serviced. I went to auto station in oakdale as its close to work and in easy location. I went in February and asked for a major service. I Was then told that due to the mileage on my car a minor service is what's needed. I've explained that I heard a noise on my car and not sure what's the issue. I was told its probably the brakes. Long story short they did the minor service and thats that. The next morning I still heard the noise and so was concerned as to what they actually did. I went and asked someone for a second opinion last week as it was the only available time I had to go and get this noise checked out, just to find out that my cv boot is broken and needs replacing. When I asked the guy if it newly happened or not he mentioned it seemed like its been broken for a while. So today I contacted auto station and explained that this is the case and that I need it looked at. Was rudely told to take it to the auto station in durban road as they deal with cv. Got there and was assisted by johan and David. David assessed the car I again explained the noise and he immediately found the fault and said that he found it strange that it wasn't picked up in the service. Also ended up telling me that the cv boot is in fact broken and has resulted in the whole cv joint needing to be replaced as it has started damaging the cv. Again saying to me that it should have been picked up in the service. What should have been a pleasant experience for me with my car service ended up being a distressing encounter. They quote to say they pleadge and promise that your car is safe and that they checked everything but they lie. I have been mistreated and I feel that auto station oakdale took advantage of the fact that I was a woman and today when I went to the owner Paul to speak with him regarding my concerns of the poor workmanship he was rude and arrogant and didn't even have the decency to give me the opportunity to explain what my issue or complaint was about. All I wanted was a service to my car and for me to feel safe and secure on the road and to feel that people that I thought were experts were actually doing their job. So ladies and my fellow single moms please avoid using auto station oakdale. They are the worst place to go to have your car serviced and they exploit us. I thought I would have peace of mind but ended up being fearful to drive my car now after being serviced there. Worst company and worst management. Steven and Paul the owner are rude and arrogant.

I visited your company for a quote for brake maintenance on my vehicle on Monday 27 March 2023, and I must say that I was disappointed with the service I received. Despite being promised a call and email with the quote within 30 minutes of my initial inquiry which was around 12: 15, it has now been several days, and I have yet to receive any communication from your team. As a customer, it's important for me to feel valued and heard, and I must say that my experience with your company has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I had hoped for a prompt and efficient response, especially when it comes to important safety issues such as brake maintenance. I understand that mistakes can happen, and perhaps there was an issue with your system that caused the delay. However, I would have appreciated some communication from your team to let me know what was going on and to provide me with an update on the status of my request. Overall, I was disappointed with the level of customer service that I received from Auto Station Tygervalley. As a car servicing company, it's essential that you prioritize your customers' needs and provide reliable and timely service. I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and improve your customer service practices to your other customers in the future.

This is the worst service I have ever received from an auto service centre. They replaced my clutch. I was promised I will get the vehicle the same day, but ended up having to wait two days. Then, after their work, I found that my gearbox was leaking oil and my CV boot was shredded, and my CV started knocking. I took it back and they reluctantly fixed it, but my gearbox is STILL leaking. I will now pay someone else again to do a proper job. I do NOT recommend this business.

I took my vehicle in for brakes as I heard a metal on metal sound, when I received my vehicle back the sound was still there. I was told the mechanic inspected the back brakes and they are fine, the front pads where replaced and the disks skimmed. The sound is getting worst by the day, now I ask you, was the front brakes really worn or do they make more money this way by replacing brakes that are not needed. I am not a happy customer.

I find auto station service an open and honest with me. They keep me informed give advice in the right direction to maintain and take care of your vehicle and service friendly and if possible within hours depending on the problem at hand. Thank you

Excellent service from Steve and great value for money. Steve had to go an extra mile to do a test drive and check my tyres all for free. The staff is very friendly too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

They fixed all the problems that my car had, and it was a lot. They informed me of what was going on every step of the way. The staff at the reception even remembered my birthday.

They assisted me late one afternoon to skim my Jimny's brakes and gave me perfect service. They could have told me to come back tomorrow, but instead helped me straight away.

The only place I go to! VERY DISGRUNTLED AT THE MOMENT... Let's see how Autostation deals with this situation before I change my comment above....

Great service provided! Clean and neat car after service. Engine was also cleaned well. Still have to see how car will perform on the long run.
