I came here after getting referred by 111. Absolutely disappointed! I came regarding food being stuck somewhere between my wisdom teeth and it causing me so much pain that I could feel my gums and teeth throbbing. They X-ray me. After the X-ray, she (the dentist) said she can’t see anything and that I should go get another procedure done, which would take me days or weeks to get. I asked several times to please check with your tools as I can feel pressure and pain and I just want them to use their tools to at lest try something as I’ve come here for help. She refused to look and kept saying the X-ray doesn’t show nothing so nothing is there. I was shocked, surprised and speechless at her lack of even trying to help me. She did nothing but made me feel as if I inconvenienced her and wasted her time. With her refusing to do anything to help me I just got up and left. I will NEVER recommend this place or come here ever again after this experience. It was a waste of my time and money. I had to endure the pain all day till my appointment for it to be a total waste of my time! Your practice needs to hire proper dentist whom have a desire and passion to actually listen and help patients! You took money and made me wait longer then the time I spent with your useless dentist. Rubbish service, thanks for nothing!

Most becoming utter crooks, with no real interest in the public. And dentists have become the worst of the lot. Like so many here I have wasted valuable time hanging on to getting to the top of the queue then being told that they are extremely busy or call just drops. People are not stupid, if you have reached your daily target then just let people know so not to waste their time. I have tried during recommended times and other times and you just feel frustrated. Just tell people that's it, we're not taking any more people. Don't give false hope and waste valuable time for people. TO ADD SO TO SAVE YOU FURTHER STRESS : These Abbey lot are terrible, but Ilford Lane DENTAL SOLUTIONS is horrible horrible and terrible. In my experience, horrendously prejudiced and rude front desk staff. EACH and every single one. Awful.

They would of got 5 stars if it wasn't for the women on the phone. From the time she rang me she had a attitude and just her manner was rude i have anxiety so trying to answer questions with her rude manner was really hard. She was not professional at all. Even when I went there for my appointment I was waiting in the reception and just the way she was talking to patients on the phone was so rude. Once she got off the phone she sat there doing nothing. I wouldn't talk to a dog the way she was speaking to me. Apart from HER the staff are brilliant the other women on reception is brilliant as soon as I walked in she was friendly made me feel at ease. I hate dentists but the people there are brilliant

This is hands down the best dentist practice I have ever been to. I came here a few months back as an emergency appointment and just had to join this dentist after a lovely experience. The receptionist staff are very friendly and helpful. My dentist Racheal is so reassuring and tries her best to fix any problem. She always spends time educating and makes sure all your questions are answered. I visited today and was seen by a different dentist. I didn’t catch his name, again so professional and informative. I was very nervous today but he made my feel at ease. I wish I knew his name too. Thank you so much abbey dental .

AVOID unless extremely desperate! I only registered with Abbey Dental Barking because I had recently moved into the area and was looking for a decent dentist. The dentists themselves are extremely polite and friendly (though the treatments are rushed), but the staff at reception have no understanding of how to adequately deal with clients. They don't seem to answer the phone lines and when one of their staff members mistakenly booked me an extra appointment (that I didn't ask for), I was being blamed for non-attendance, instead of their mistake being acknowledged and apologising. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

Came there for dental hygiene paid £65 when I went there technician who clean informed me it's 30 minutes appointments.However, he finished in 15 minutes and only clean the lower teeth and ask me to rebook again for upper teeth. Obviously for another £65.Very funny I went home with half of the teeth clean..its complete rip of the money.when I mentioned and complaint to the reception very rude staff start arguing me for no reason Not recommend to anyone specially to do the Hygiene treatment. Completly Rip off. Please avoid there are bunch of other dental cleanic around that area please consider there.

I recently visited Abbey Dental and was very impressed with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. I especially want to thank Dr. Amina and Dr. Jamil for their exceptional care and attention to detail. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well-informed during my visit, whether it was for an emergency or just general advice. You can tell a lot about a place just by calling in and asking. However the staff at Abbey Dental seem like they are running a mine full of gold !!. Call in and you will be on hold for an hour only to be hung up on at the end of that hour !! You may try calling back again to experience the same horrible waiting time. One may think “oh maybe another day or time” but beware you may spend that time looking for a place which at least entertains your calls. From what I can tell the staff at Abbey Dental Barking need some training in picking up calls and managing time properly !

Staff are not helpful, they argumentative, kept sending form to fill out despite having filled out twice, they even phoned to say that the form had not been filled out. Upon visit to the dentist the staff still were adamant that the we were at fault, and kept defending themselves and thier computer system. I tried to also explain that not everyone knows how to fill out online forms, I don't think the staff wanted to know what I was trying to explain to them.staff are very defensive instead of trying to find a resolution to the concern.staff very incompetent.

Very friendly staff, on the phone and in the clinic, very handy to be told before my appointment that the toilets were out of service. When I arrived the dentist apologised for the delay and discussed all my treatment options in great detail and explained the risks before asking if I wanted to proceed. The dental nurse was very helpful and helped to calm me down during the injections. Although it was a difficult case I’m very grateful that the dentist didn’t give up and it all worked out well in the end. Nice clean clinic highly recommended.

I joined this Dental Surgery just recently and had 3 appointments so far. They seem well organised: I received regular reminders of my appointments via text and phone, which was great. My only criticism is that l found difficult to contact them by phone as lines seem always busy. 100% satisfied with the treatments received by my lady dentist, a very competent, polite and gentle person who made me feel welcome from day one. Also she was very happy to answer to all my queries and l found this very reassuring and comforting.

Good morning receptions so I should stay one moth with toothache and infection? I didn't have problem over a year so why should I need to come down! Hi I have given Abbey Dental practice 5 Star's because they are fantastic . My husband had a appointment the other day, he's not a fan of dentist's!! as a result he's not been for years. He's dentist was very patient with him and gave him time to try and relax while she tried to fix his broken tooth. The practice is very clean, staff are very helpful and friendly, it's not easy to get a appointment as there books and always full but if you do manage to get in,then you are going to get the best treatment.

I had a appointment at 8.45am but the dentist arrived at 8.51am and was seen 9.05am. when I asked the receptionist why u have a policy that patients need to be arrived 10 minutes before the appointment or else appointment can be cancelled but that don’t apply to the dentist.I believe because we need them more then they need us even when u pay for the service.I think they should also respect the time of the patients and should have a complain form so the disappointed patients can complain to the NHS.

I was told that the practice is registering new NHS patients - and I shall ring between 11 - 12 with NHS number For the past 3 days I've been trying and after more 30 mins of wait and when I am next to be answered an automated message played out announcing huge number of calls and to try again then hung up. I am sure you are busy just as many other dentist but if you cannot register patient then please do not waste our time by asking us to ring and have this disgusting service. Thanks Kashif

Waste of time and money !I came for an Emergency appointment with a visible infection on my gum ,in pain and The doctor told me to go private because my tooth can’t be solved under NHS Dental Practice !Luckily ,I have found a different NhS doctor who has fixed my problem ,so the staff needs to work harder in giving the patients the right advice and treatment !I gave one star for the nice place ,looks clean and well maintained but for the treatment….no way !

I was sent to this dentist via 111 emergency service. I was a little reluctant to travel to Barking but I was so much pain I had no choice. When I arrived the reception staff were very professional. The dentist was very clean and welcoming. My dentist (Amina) and her assistant (Faye) were honestly very professional, polite and friendly. I live in Manor Park otherwise I would have registered there myself. They truly deserve a 5* rating, THANK YOU

Wonder full service of Dental Practice we ever been for our dental problem referred by GP. Highly recommended Abbey Dental Practice. Dr Jamil Jeeva and his assistant handled us very care and comfortably. Explained the treatment plan very well and organised next level treatment. The reception ladies are also very helpful since we registered and communicated with us through email, messages and telephone calls. They are very hassle free

I have been trying to call them from a while now, first of all they don’t pick up the call, when it's your turn they will hang up straight away acting like they can't hear you or they will say you are number 1 in the queue and make you wait for hours and never pick up. This has happened to me quiet a few times now. I am very disappointed. 2 years ago their customer service was good. I don't understand what happened all of a sudden.

The reception staff are amazing and make you feel at ease as soon as you walk in. The surgery was spotless with constant cleaning happening really above and beyond ppe. My dentist was so kind, and gave really detailed explanations, informed me of my options in such a compassionate manner and treated me in such a efficient way. Really grateful to this place for seeing me as an emergency client, couldn't recommend more.

Have been using this dentist since Autumn of 2020. Overall, they are a good dental surgery and I really like my personal dentist (she is lovely). It’s also very easy to get an appointment. My only negatives are: (1) You have to pay before you actually have the appointment. (2) The appointment feels so fast and rushed (usually in and out within 10 minutes), it doesn’t feel like you are receiving value for money.

I was a patient of this dental clinic since 2005. I wasn’t aware of how bad the dentist is and how my tooth was damaged by their unprofessional service. I have to spend more money now to pay for their mistakes in the past and even lost one of my front teeth. After every treatment, I stepped out of the treatment with blood & other material still on my lips and face without even telling me or clean it.

Receptionist was very rude on telephone when i tried to book in my son who has autism and severe heightened anxiety and does not attend regularly for this reason, stated only providing regular clients even though my son is registered. Managed to speak to another member of staff who booked in my son and was very understanding, dentist was fantastic and patient with my son.

I wish I could give a 10/10. I have an extreme fear of dentistry work and Dr. Shital Sojitra is the best I've EVER experienced. Kind, patient and understanding, I will NEVER use anyone else! Abbey Dental Barking is the most useless Dental practice that I have ever been to in my life. I regretted attending the useless appointment on the 22nd of March 2023 at 4.30 pm .my appointment lasted only about three minutes and I wasn’t given any treatment . It was a complete waste of time.
