Update: Having spoken to the practice manager, she assured me that some of the points raised have been discussed and amended since my visit. Specifically around x-rays and signing treatment plan letters. ————————— A disappointing experience, which felt like I was just part of scripted sales pitch. I was drawn here to enquire about Invisalign costs given their adverts of being the “lowest cost in London”. I inquired online and was booked into a consultation, where on arrival I was taken for an immediate x-ray of my teeth. There was no medial questions asked about my suitability for an X-ray, no explanation at this time about why an X-ray was needed. I mentioned I was here for an Invisalign inquiry but was told “this is part of the process”, without any explanation as to why. After this was done I saw Dr Carlos, who was very helpful in explaining the Invisalign process and answered questions (hence the 2 stars, not 1). But couldn’t answer my questions on costs. He mentioned the corrections were “very minor” and would likely take “4-5 months”. After this I waited to be seen by a member of the sales team, the woman was professional but told me the cost was higher than I expected. I explained this was too much for me to pay for what is a minor cosmetic issue and I wouldn’t be interested in this plan. I was then asked to sign a statement which outlined the costs of the treatment I just heard, I reiterated I wasn’t interested in the treatment and I’m not comfortable signing this, I was told “it’s not bad”, I explained my reluctance again but felt pressured to sign. I then was told about the option of “follow on” retainers after the end of my treatment, which I was then presented with another breakdown of costs and asked to sign without a clear explanation. This was also odd because I’d not expressed any interest in the original treatment. Throughout this whole process I didn’t feel that what I was saying was heard or listened to at all, rather there was a sales “script” to be followed and that the job of staff there was to get through the script. I followed up via email enquiring about why the cheaper Invisalign express option wasn’t considered for me, given than I was told my situation required “minor corrections”. The email back stated my treatment would last 9 months, hence why I was offered a more expensive treatment. This was directly contradictory to what I heard from Dr Carlos. My personal option is that I was trying to be sold a more expensive treatment option that I didn’t require.

I was searching online to find a competitive quote for implants and implant surgery and stumbled across Banning Dental. I had been to 5 appointments with my dentist, going to specialists for x-rays etc and had it all done in ONE consultation at Banning. And the price was around £5k cheaper (as there was an offer I qualified for). The appointments and consultation with Dr Habib was very thorough and the practice was spotlessly clean, with state of the art equipment and acted super professionally. I was impressed and have now moved all my dental services there. Since the implant surgery last year: I’ve been stopped and asked about my teeth and the compliments keep coming: from shop assistants to airport security staff! (Yes! Really!!). I’ve since been back to see Judith (very attentive & professional), Lorena (hygienist & therapist appts - who has the most gentle touch and manner about her) and Sabina (again utmost professionalism and super friendly energy). The whole team have been amazing. Although, my only concern, you do get a lot of emails and messages about Banning services: maybe a few too many.

I’ve been going to Banning Dental clinic for the past year for various treatments. On my first visit met Dr. Judith Ayele and stayed in her care ever since. She is truly a professional in her field. Apart from being an expert like no other, she has been incredibly caring, humble and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can be really daunting, however, since I met her I’m actually looking forward to my visits more than anything else. Putting the patient and their needs first, making sure they are as comfortable as they can be - literally made sure my experience is flawless and pain free no matter what is being done. Could not praise and recommend her anymore! If she ever moves, I would follow her no matter wherever she goes! Her presence makes you feel comfortable and at ease. :) Receptionist Nouja is just the sweetest and most accommodating person I have met. Whatever the request she will always make sure all is fine, lights up the room whole room with her smile and kindness. Truly the best experience I have ever had. :)

Overall, Banning Dental provides excellent customer service and is friendly and very accommodating. Dr. Carlos at Banning Dental did my Invisalign treatment, and he was incredibly professional and clear about the process from the beginning; including before and after images . We had regular check in appointments to see how I was getting on with my aligners and to ensure my treatment was going smoothly. I was pleased with my overall results thanks to Carlos. Dr. Alex also completed my composite bonding; he was extremely welcoming and listened to how I wanted my teeth to look overall. He provided me with a Smile Trial to see how my teeth would appear once my composite was finished. Dr. Alex made some tweaks on the plans to meet all of my requirements and expectations when I provide him some feedback during my Smile Trial. I was very happy with the final results! Thank you once again to Banning with providing me with such an amazing experience.

Love this dentist for how clean and modern it is. You automatically feel relaxed and like you’re in good hands from in the reception area. All the reception staff are so friendly and helpful and they always greet you with a smile. I would like to highlight Naj for their amazing service! I recently had my wisdom tooth removed which ended up being a complicated surgery! I was very nervous during the appointment but Dr Edoardo was so reassuring throughout the procedure. The after care I received was nothing short of amazing. Dr Edoardo called me the very next morning after my surgery to find out how I was doing. He was happy to see me multiple times after the surgery to deal with any concerns that I had at no extra cost. And everything he told me about the recovery was reassuring. I have also completed my Invisalign journey here and I would definitely recommend this surgery to anyone who has dental needs!

Special mentions go to Naj at reception and Dr Lura. Naj is always so helpful and really goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease. She already knows my appointment time preferences and makes an effort to ensure I get something that suits my schedule. Dr Lura has been great in assisting me with my Invisalign journey. She’s very approachable and kind, I also like she’s very clear and goes straight to the point when she answers your questions. The practice is always looking very neat and tidy and the facilities look fresh and modern. They also work as a skin clinic and have a lot of perks and offers for their costumers. The prices are absolutely honest and fair for the service they provide! Outstanding service!

I'm really happy with my treatment at Banning Dental, I enjoy my visits to the dentist. Dr. Alex Scott is my dentist, he is amazing and makes me feel at ease especially at the beginning of my treatment because I was very nervous. He is a perfectionist in his work so I am confident that I am getting the best treatment possible. I chose to book with Banning because of the great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The treatment is affordable compared to other private dentists and I don't have to wait long between appointments. They also offer very good finance deals to make it more manageable. The practice is really nice and welcoming, with complimentary tea and coffee. It's bright and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend my dental experience at Banning Lewisham. I needed two front teeth implants as those crowned teeth were no longer viable. I was somewhat nervous before embarking on a consultation with Dr Edoardo Marco Baraggia however he was excellent at explaining the process and gave me great reassurances. Amazing team here! And definitely one of the most affordable Invisalign in London. I’ve been doing my Invisalign treatment with Dr Kia at banning dental for over a year now. She’s been wonderfully precise with my teeth and even fit me in today for an emergency appointment for a tooth I felt wasn’t moving well enough. My teeth are so beautiful and I feel so much more comfortable, Dr Kia has done not 1 but 2 refinements for me so I am completely satisfied with my smile. Having recently moved from the United Arab Emirates to South East London, I was apprehensive about finding a new cosmetic company for my dental and skin care procedures. I chose Banning Dental group from online reviews, and it’s close to my new home. I’m currently undergoing treatment for a tooth implant by Dr Edoardo Marco Baraggia; as a nervous patient, I must commend how gentle he is and how he communicates throughout the dental work, which is important in putting someone like myself at ease. As for facial cosmetic procedures, I recommend Elise, who is light as a Feather, with Botox for an anti-wrinkle treatment and is very personable. It’s a super seamless experience with a personalised touch. No one likes seeing the dentist, but it’s a pleasant experience.

I came to Banning Dental from Dentistry For You in Forest Hill to have implants. I was very anxious, but the amazing surgeon looked after me very well. Coming to Banning Dental is always a wonderful experience. The staff provide Excellent customer service and always look after me whilst I am waiting for my appointment. Nothing is ever too much. I only came in for a consultation once, and moved from my previous practice, and have never looked back. I have already recommended Banning to my family.

This clinic is superb from ambience, staffs to their services. As soon as I come in, the place looks really relaxing. Staffs would offer you tea while waiting. Naj is very accomodating and kind. My hygienist, Sneha, has answered all my questions, gave me good advices about dental care and is really great in doing cleaning. I have no pain at all. Lastly, I had a great consultation with Elise, helping me out in planning great facial care. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic!

I had two consultations due to my complex case and was advised I arrange a second opinion with their orthodontist. The customer service via their in-house management has been exceptional. Dr Carlos was the Dentist for my Invisalign treatment at Banning and he was quite detailed in explaining everything I had to know about the dental treatment before i kicked off. My treatment was really smooth with no issues. Had periodic check ins with him as well to monitor my progress. The Banning staff were really welcoming, cute and sweet without an exception . I also got a fair payment plan. Plus the location wasn't too difficult to trace

I went for a Hydra facial at the Lewisham branch today and got my treatment done by Elise who was fantastic. Elise was very friendly and professional and I felt she took her time with my treatment and explained each step of the process. My skin was glowing after and just felt so much more plump and hydrated. I highly recommend this treatment if you want an instant glow. I will be going back again soon.

Attended here for my second facial ever. I was rather pleased with the results, annabel was really friendly, approachable and easy to talk to. The process was amended to suit my needs. Banning dentist is great! I had a gap in my front teeth that had been getting bigger over the years and I was unhappy with my smile because of it. Dr Alex is my dentist and is great!!! He advised getting Invisalign to close the gap. Once the gap was closed I had some veneers and composite bonding done. I absolutely love my teeth now and I can’t stop smiling Thank you Alex!!!!!

Very good practice with very good dentists. Joel is a perfectionist and strives for perfect teeth. Most will settle for a good result but he continuously makes alterations to ensure I end up with the perfect result. Second time having Invisalign but this time the results are even better and we’re not even finished.
