Charlize and Petula helped me in such a lovely way when I asked about some items I had seen on the website that weren't in store yet. They took my details to let me know when the stock was in. When I went in they had kept my items aside and remembered me. They were helpful and very friendly. I complimented their service to Tania and she was also so pleasant and friendly. I also noticed that the store was so clean and neat, with a generally happy vibe. I heard one staff member complimenting another on how neat they had made an area and it was so nice to hear :) Please pass on my compliments on 5 star service at this store! On another note, I did struggle to get this feedback through to Ackermans via the website and Facebook so maybe there's a gap somewhere. I hope this Google review will reach management at head office :)

No staff on the floor , The staff member we found had no Ackerman name tag or anything to identify her as a staff member, look like a customer hid herself away. We asked about a size of a product, before knowing what we were referring to she no there is no other sizes, then walked over and looked and said no whatever is on the floor is what is availability, I was not convinced. This is however a trend with ackermans in general where there are no staff and no help and very difficult to find what you look for. Current owners should be ashamed to be associated with a brand that was very good at a point and is clearly down the drain now

Hubby and I were at the store Friday the 13th.... Thinking we're gonna have to search for sizes and specific school clothing for our 3 kidos.. But the stunning lady Merle in the school close department.. Wow! She made our shopping so much easier, so convenient. We felt so at home because we spend less than 30 minutes in the store..we didn't search for a thing Good customer we received, so active and very friendly.. The clothes are awesome, prices are great! But the staff are honestly some of the most miserable, unhelpful people I've ever met. The lady ringing my stuff up was so busy talking to her colleague about her kid, literally I thought I wasn't there. I had to wait for her to finish her convo before she'd actually hear that I need to do a return. If you hate people, please don't do customer service.

My wife left her rings in the changing cubicle yesterday and only realised this today when she wanted to put them on. She called the store (Blue Route) and it turns out a customer had handed it in. Our sincere gratitude goes out, not only to the customer who handed it in but to the Ackerman staff. Thank you to everyone involved!

Very disappointed with the clothing and shoes collection of young girls. Nothing appropriate for church/formal wear. This store was a store you could rely on for decent clothing for little girls, NOT ANYMORE! No hosiery or frilly socks either. Get back to where you started please. You've lost the plot in my books!!!!

Staff are not helpful, rails are so full you cannot see what's on there. The prices are good but the styles are all the same...not every child wants to wear a tracksuit. Then the cut of the clothes...who are they using as models???

Its always been a hassle to get decent clothes for my boy. However, the variety of designs and options of clothing was satisfying. The prices... affordable. Thank you it was amazing shopping at your store.

Wonderful service. I dropped my parcel in the shop only to realize it when I got home. I called them and they said they saw and kept it for me. Today I collected the parcel. Keep it up guys
