I do not travel with Air Canada very often and only did so this time because of the timing of my trip. I booked a trip in September for Milan. Today I received an email changing my trip to Munich! A link was provide in the email to their website for options if the flight was not acceptable. Of course it was not acceptable as I wanted to go to Milan not Munich! The only option on line was ti receive a voucher. I did not want a voucher; I wanted a refund. I spent 1.5 hours waiting on the phone to speak to a representative only to be told that I cannot get a refund, only a voucher. Since Air Canada changed my destination I cannot understand why I cannot get a refund. It is Air Canada's responsibility to provide a flight to the destination that I booked, not to rearrange my trip.
Every AC flight I’ve had this year has been extremely delayed (5 or more hours) or cancelled, completely. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. I’ve spent 2 nights in airports because of cancelled flights that were supposed to get me home before dinner… There is no excuse for this anymore—it’s just laziness, greed and poor management at this point. If AC were a true business (Aka not RIDICULOUSLY subsidized and a part of a government sanctioned oligopoly), it would have gone the way of Canada 3000 decades ago… as customers, we get the short end of the stick—super expensive air travel coupled with gaping failures in both stability and commitment to form. Get your act together AC…
Due to a staffing issue at our second leg of our flight, Air Canada rescheduled our flight to the next day. My husband and I would like to thank the friendly and super helpful Air Canada leads at the Winnipeg airport. Claude and Darren worked hard to make certain we were completely taken care of and felt more than satisfied with how we were treated. They thought of things we did not and we left the next day feeling like royalty. Thank you Claude and Darren, your hard work and care does not go unnoticed. You are amazing people and we cannot thank you enough.
Terrible service, cancellations at Air Canada became their way of operating. When someone is going to do something with this company that affects hundreds of people every day without an answer for anything. They are unconsidered towards their customers. There are already three flights that this company has canceled for me, there is no guarantee that this company will follow with its itineraries. After 5 hours of delays, lying that there were technical failures, without crew or personnel repairing the supposed technical failure.
Due to the covid-19 situation, Air Canada has a very flexible fare, and also has a very complete policy of change and cancellation. The trip was booked and cancelled because of the loss of a loved one. The customer service staff fully expressed their considerate and supportive professional attitude. Really appreciate the effort to help save my trip. Unfortunately, part of why I rescheduled in Winnipeg was because of how badly I heard things were being dealt with in Toronto, where I was supposed to connect. I also got a lot of good advice, too.
Kan helped us at the Air Canada kiosk. Our baggage were over 300g and he made us remove extra weight. He was highly unprofessional and this was a huge disappointment for us. My family and myself always travel with Air Canada and Kan ruined it.
Canada’s flagship airline which I supported with international travel in over 40 countries. They are firing hard working dedicated staff for not falling in line with their unconstitutional health directive. Do like me - vote with your feet.
Every time I fly with AC it’s a bad experience. The whole process is tedious; from checking in all the way to picking up your luggage- if you’re lucky and your luggage makes it. Planes are cramped, service is sub par.
Worst airline which I ever saw. Support is poor. Complete cheating with refunding. Even if the company is cancel this flight. No any support for passenger for connection flights. No hotels, no options. 0 star review

An absolute nightmare of an airline to deal with. Worst customer service on the planet. They’re not happy until you’re not happy.
Didn’t allow the same bag on return flight. Need to train staff on all locations to be consistent with rules.
My laptop was scratched during baggage check, I don't hate Canada, it’s the worst country in the world.
