"Food was delicious, no complaints regarding the food"

Prices are high and portions are very small. We paid $50 for 6 small skewers with one Lebanese bread, a bit of onion and a small dip on the side. No salad or other sides included (which is ridiculous considering the price) so we had to order salad separately which was another $18 and the serving was very small. We ordered some sides and entrees too and I think they were the only things we enjoyed the most out of everything we ordered. The skewers were small and very dry, in particular the chicken ones. The knafeh was probably the worst knafeh I’ve ever had. It was dry, flaky and the cheese was hard and chewy. I’ve had many knafehs in my time and never have I been so disappointed and dissatisfied. Service was slow. We never got drinks except for water as they said they would come back to take our order but they never did until our meals were finished. Would I recommend this restaurant to anyone I know? Definitely not! There are far more better restaurants out there that serve you fresh and tasty food which doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and you walk out satisfied with their food and service.
Essentially the chefs are good, but the waitstaff are bad. Once seated we waited 15 minutes for a menu because our waiter was flirting with the women at other tables. Then once we ordered, our table water took 15 minutes to arrive. He was again, flirting with women at the other tables. We then waited 40 minutes for our mains to arrive. We admit the food tasted great, however all our food arrived cold as if they had been waiting for that waiter to finish chatting up the ladies at other tables. The food would have tasted much better if hot. We received no attention all night, except for when our order was taken. The table next to us left early stating the waiter forgot about them and they didn't receive everything they ordered. As paying we glance over at the table and that waiter decided to sneak a mouthful of our leftovers...

Al Aseel in Castle Hill is our go-to restaurant in western Sydney for a scrumptious Lebanese feast. The restaurant has an airy decor and beautiful music in the background. The Trilogy dips are the perfect entree to kick off the meal, and the baba ganoush is epic in its taste. The Chilli Garlic Prawn was another delicious dish to dip the complimentary pita bread with. The Tabouli is usually spot on, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the Ruby Salad last time. The Chicken Sharwarma and Lemon Garlic Chicken are generous potions and suitable for young kids as well.

Food was delicious, no complaints regarding the food. The service was average. They crammed our table of four into a corner and surrounded us with the other patrons. The rest of the restaurant was empty so I would assume this was done so it looked busy from the outside but the atmosphere was awful and couldn’t hear the person next to me. We asked for the entree and dips to be brought out first, they brought everything out together. We asked for more bread, they quite literally chucked it into the corner of the table. The waiters and the staff that greeted us had the personality of a fly. A real shame as the food was great but wouldn’t come back.

After a great deal of research I found this place and the food did not disappoint. We ordered spinach fatayer and the dips platter to share and they were delicious and decent portion. Fatayer was Nice and crispy and succulent on the inside. We also chose chicken and saffron rice plus chicken skewers for mains. Both the chicken were juicy and flavourful. We also had thru fresh watermelon juice for beverages. I have only given 3 stars as it was our anniversary and we did mention it while booking but nothing was done to elevate the experience or create a wow factor. It also felt like they just hurried us thru the dinner for no apparent reason.

Shout out to all the staff at Al Aseel Castle Hill. My friends and a I had a great night and delicious dinner. The atmosphere was great, not too loud or overcrowded. Friendly and classy at the same time. The food was amazing and a big thank you especially to the Manager who was very accommodating, and also Jad who looked after our table. My whole group wanted to book in another night to come back straight away!

This place is a vegetarians heaven. So many options! And everything tastes so good!
Food is always good, especially the dips, but the service and the way they put you in certain tables is extremely strange. Asked for a small corner table rather than the booth and was told that the table was booked even though the restaurant was completely empty (there must have been at least 10 free tables of four) and we finished before anyone even looked at that table. Whilst I understand needing to reserve tables and optimise seating if the restaurant is busy, it just doesn’t make sense if the restaurant is empty and leaves a bad taste in the mouth for no gain - either the restaurant’s or the customer’s.

Very busy restaurant, but great efficient and friendly service. Menu was vast and very good selection A good range of beverages also. I started with a Lebanese wine for my wife and a Beruit Ice tea for myself, which was very more-ish. The dips Platter had a good selection and a great shared starter, followed by main of chicken and lamb dishes, the portion sizes a definitely large and again great to share. The desserts too where great..kenefe was perfect for sharing. All in all the ambience, food and service made for a great experience. Will definitely return again.

This was an absolute surprise for what is a restaurant chain with a wonderful experience being had by all in my group From the attentive staff to the outstanding food Al Aseel' provided a great evening and I highly recommend the Castle Hill venue. The platters were fragrant and tasty and try and leave some room for dessert. The rice pudding was delicious. The atmosphere was vibrant and busy and the staff keep the water glasses topped up without us asking .

New restaurant at Towers located right opposite the cinema. A large space and well decorated. Limited selection of vegetarian mains but plenty of selection to put something together. A good selection of tasty dips and well plated mains. The delivery of fresh Pitta was a treat. I found the beverages expensive and overall price for one dip, two mains and two drinks at $89 to be on the high side. Overall service was excellent except the guy in the door who takes too much time looking at his sheet or talking on the phone rather than engaging with with guests a little off putting. Could be so much more!
Had a wonderful dinner and experience. Many thanks to our lovely server Anna. She went through the menu with us to offer her recommendations as well as to ensure there was no peanuts in our food as I have a severe peanut allergy. We had the Mansaf lamb, lemon garlic chicken, barramundi, and meat shawarma. We loved everything and will be back.

We booked Al-aseel restaurant’s private function room for our daughter’s Holy communion dinner , which we had over 20 guests attending. To say we were not only impressed but were also pleased with the freshness of the food , the quality and everything was served fresh and hot as expected. Our guests were very pleased with the whole experience. We would like to thank the manager and the staff as they delivered an outstanding service and we will definitely continue to visit the restaurant.

wonderful experience being here tonight for dinner From the helpfull staff to the outstanding food Al Aseel' provided a great evening and I highly recommend the Castle Hill venue. The manager at the entry was so helpful handling the crowd as well as managing the tables allocations for everyone. He specially organised ramadan special food for us . It really means a lot . Thank you so much The venue was beautiful and so was the food.

We came as a group of 5. It was a Wednesday night, not busy but took a while to be seen. The service is slow, trying to more drinks is hard as the wait staff are not looking or paying attention. Food portions have gotten smaller, especially the salads. The food is tasty but over priced for what is essentially kebabs. Dips are great too.

Ordered takeaway, extremely overpriced for the quantity of food given. Salad was only enough to feed a child, eggplant was one small slice, gotta love when they chuck an onion on the skewer to not give you as much meat. No tabouli given with their mixed plate, two tablespoons of dip and a small pack of bread… Last but not least, a hair in the salad :) The other two Lebanese restaurants in castle hill are much better value!

It was wonderful restaurant and we use to do Uber eats. Recently I have found that they have raised prices and food quantity has gone down. Everytime we order food, quantity is terrible. We called their customer services and they were unable to assist rather they were trying to defend them rather than improving services. They need to improve their services and food quality rather than increasing prices every now and then.

Absolutely fantastic food - lamb shoulder was one of the best I've ever had. Went for Grandfather's birthday, stellar service all night from Anna and was pleasantly surprised with a distinctly Lebanese birthday cheer. Filling and memorable, 10/10 would completely recommend to all.

I just ordered the lockdown lunch meal. Everyone must order this now!!! Absolutely great food, great offer for $25. We made 4 delicious kebabs and still had food left over!! Love this place and staff. Thank you. A really nice restaurant The staff so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious . Nice music. We went just after lunch and was peaceful relaxing. The evenings it looks like it gets very busy and full. It was a nice time to go.
Great place, great food. Perfect for a group gathering. Nice inside decor. Staff are friendly but are very limited. There were only 2 staff to manage the whole restaurant. We had to wait for almost 5-10mins to get someone get us water and again the same for other dishes.

I’ve enjoyed wonderful food & service at Al Aseel for years in Castle Hill! I always order the banquet which is reasonably priced for the generous amounts and variety of food served. I didn’t take photos of the mains (12 meat skewers & condiments) as I was too distracted enjoying it all! Friendly & thoughtful service from the lovely Anna & Jean today. Thank you! Ps: the baklava ice cream and znoud el set are absolute musts for desert!
If you haven't been before, you have got to try this restaurant! The food was amazing (garlic sauce ). It was a customer's birthday & they certainly made a big show of it with loud music & clapping

Nice Lebanese restaurant with good ambience and a decent variety of dishes. The mezza and mains were pretty good, but found the Knefeh (desert) a bit disappointing. Food was good, but was expecting a bit more considering it’s reputation and apparent popularity. Highly recommend to make reservations if planning to dine here on the weekend.

One of staffs are really good and others, we find it rude and rushing. Got few wrong orders to our table and took it out. Chicken dishes are juicy and perfect. But lamb dishes are bit rusty and tough to chew. Highlights are dips, lime juice and salad which are really vibrant and tasty. Kind advice to owner to check the customers opinions before leaving, so it can be improved.

If you want to go and see an over rated over hyped restaurant then go to Al Aseel. Food was average I wouldn’t say its bad but not extraordinary, not generous quantity. Service was not so great, people waiting at the front counter no one to attend them. Overall an average eating place which has gained unnecessary fame.

My plans are always spontaneous so I was not able to get dine in there. But today I was able to The ambience is perfect to go with friends or family. We ordered vegetarian hot food. The taste of food and service was ok. I gave this restaurant 5 stars because of the ambience I guess. Else I was confused between 4 and 5 rating. I would definitely go there again.

Special Friday Night treat and ordered a pick up. The food was made fresh and tasted great. Well priced with a good menu to offer up lots of options. If you can, choose pickup and avoid the delays of delivery driver chaos. Don’t forget the garlic sauce, you won’t regret it. Meals were accompanied by a side of pickles which were also nice and salty.

The Manager Fady, wait staff Anna and Trainee service are exceptional. The Mezze platter is more than enough for two. The Manza Rice with Lamb taste is how I remembered in my early days in Eastern Saudi Arabia. The Beef Swarma is tender and juicy. Personally the price is reasonable.
Me and my friends went for my birthday, and the food was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very understanding and will gladly cater to your needs. They all sung us happy birthday and we had a wonderful time. Will definitely go back, it was such a a great experience.
Tasty food, and quick service. Chilli prawns and baklava ice cream were our standout favourites. Unfortunately a very noisy restaurant so it’s not the first choice for a quiet relaxing dinner with a focus on food.

This is the Best Al Aseel when it comes to service and ambience. The mixed skewer plate is plenty for two and is a good dish to order. Lemon chicken is what this place is famous for. The roasted cauliflower can be avoided - priced at $14 it
We had had some issues with a few times we have been there. Always got the orders wrong, one time they totally forgot our order and we had to wait ages. Another time we got half the meals delivered and 20 minutes later for the rest. We have
Slow table service, music was incredibly loud and was hard to have a conversation with other people at the same table, food took really long time to arrive and when it did was only just warm and others were almost cold had to send it back.
Reason I am giving a 3 star is not bc of the food but the customer service we received last Friday. The staff member that served us was rather impatient and outright rude and crude. We enquired about a dish that we needed explaining(didn't
