Horrendous Customer Service Ally Fashion Wynnum Plaza A few weeks ago, my mother, grandmother and I were having a day out together and decided to shop at Ally Fashion at Wynnum Plaza. The female staff were watching us as we entered the shop and were giggling amongst themselves. I thought nothing of this at the time, but when we were served, it started to make sense. My mother and grandmother were browsing through the shop and came across some clothes they liked on the discount rack. The item had a price that was lower than the discount listed and when this was brought to the attention of the staff member, she rudely scoffed and said it was the wrong price and we would have to pay the HIGHER discount price. She was very rude and aggressive and was looking down her nose at us as if she were better than us. After that, she walked away and ignored us. She should've honoured the price that was listed on the item regardless of whether it was wrong or not. The item was on display at that price. Also, she should've been more professional about the situation and taken responsibility for the mistake instead of belittling customers and having a tantrum and walking off. This was only the beginning of the discrimination we experienced at this store. Shortly after that awful experience, my mother and grandmother, despite the way they were treated, still decided to purchase the items that they liked. We were standing there for a few minutes waiting to be served, but the staff member simply glanced at us with a filthy look and told the other staff member to serve us instead, so she could continue her chat with another customer. Which I assume they knew each other and were friends from the way they were acting. She would rather have a personal conversation while at work instead of doing her job. When we were finally served by the other staff member, as she was scanning the items, she noticed one of the items didn't have a tag and told my mother she couldn't return it as there is no tag. (This wasn't a discounted item, it was full cost). So because they haven't put a tag on the item and that is the one my mother picked up, we can't return it. Instead of offering to get another one, the staff member simply said that you can't return it, probably because the staff member just wanted to be finished with us so she could get back to talking as well. Prior to these events, the staff were serving younger customers, probably 30 or younger, and were acting polite from what I could tell. I didn't bother to speak with the staff as I'm a male and thought it would only make things worse given their attitudes. So my take away from this is that if you are over 30, they will show no interest in you and you will be discriminated against in this store and be treated like garbage because of your age and gender. My mother spent over $70 in this transaction, and due to this disgusting display of customer service, won't be shopping here in the future and recommend others avoid this store too.

This branch at wynnum plaza has bad customer skills. My mother, niece, and myself went into the store on October 4th 2018, my niece wanted clothing for Xmas and said she thought they be gone if she didn't get them. So my mother said she will buy them and give on Xmas day....at the counter on that day the lady ( stephany) gathered all the cloths and as she asked for the amount, my mother politely asked if there was any problems with style as my nieces mother is old Fasion if they could be returned and tags be left on them. Steph said not a problem at all. As my mother paid for items and we left store. Christmas came and my niece had cloths to show everyone, but her mother said no way your wearing ripped skirt to her.. .Plz take it back and get your money back or exchange for a more decent look. My mother was surprised as thought skirt would of been OK. Out of the 5 items it was the only one the mother said no to. My mother said its fine I will take up to get refund and give her money instead or you buy for her. My mother went to the store and was told that she couldn't get a refund or a exchange, as the docket says 21days return policy. The lady who said this was named madi! Very very rude women. My mother didn't look at docket as took as faith that Steph was right. 3 of us who heard step say it. ..But Maddi. Basically had a go at my mum told her to call head office it won't bother her. Etc etc. My mum said so much for honesty back and customer service. My mother rang Sydney head office and spoke to Adriana, she just has also a rude attitude ..no wonder staff are like this when comes from the top. The web site also gave extensions for people who bought in Nov to return In Jan if need be. ..But my mother told them it was for Xmas. . How stupid and nasty is this company? To go back in days after Xmas with cloths that were for a present to be told sorry no. ..They were never worn. If my mum new it was the 21days she would of said no. Or told my niece to wait. Your company has now lost a customer who spend money. . Lost my sales as I buy things for my niece there... And for head office, should be ashamed of yourself!

I wanted to give Ruby (with the gorgeous red hair to match) a huge thank you for making a stressful day less stressful. She has great customer service skills and should be acknowledged for the amazing job she does. I recently bought a pair of pants that I needed to wear the next day. I had a particular look in mind and gave Ruby a vague description. She helped suggest a few different types to me and listened carefully to what I was searching for. Her cheery dementia was uplifting and made my day to say the least. I would also like to acknowledge the amazing presentation of this particular Ally store. I have been to a few other stores where the treatment of the clothes and presentation space have been lacking. This store set the bar high for me for amazing service and presentation that feels like they value their stock and customers.

It this shop did not exist at Wynnum Plaza, I would be lost. The only decent fashion store for young women to purchase nice decently priced clothing. The girls that work there are always super nice, friendly and helpful. Thanks Ally!

I regularly shop at this store and find the staff helpful and great to deal with. Very attentive and able to assist me with all my queries. Even though I am over 50 years, I do find some great buys in store.

Charged 12.99 for an item on the 9.99 rack. Given a dirty look when we questioned this and when I asked if they were willing to honor it we were spoken to very rudely. Great way to lose paying customers.
