My recent collaboration with Trisha Estes as my real estate agent left me profoundly disappointed with the level of service I received. While Trisha is undoubtedly a kind and amiable person, her performance as an agent during the sale of my home left a lot to be desired. The most glaring issue was her lack of attention to contractual details. Crucial aspects of the contract were either overlooked or inadequately explained, resulting in financial losses amounting to thousands of dollars. What exacerbated this situation was Trisha's reluctance to accept or share in the accountability for these costly errors when I raised concerns. This was a deeply frustrating aspect of our interaction. Negotiation skills are fundamental to a real estate agent's role, and it's my opinion that Trisha's abilities in this area seemed subpar. It often felt as though she had an aversion to negotiation, and I had to prompt her to negotiate each time. Furthermore, it seemed she gave priority to the interests of the buyers over mine, despite my position as the seller. This skewed representation left me feeling like I was not receiving the level of advocacy I needed during the transaction. Despite Trisha's extensive experience as an agent and a successful track record, her expertise did not manifest during my sale. I felt she adopted a reactive approach, and I had to request updates and information frequently. A proficient agent should keep clients informed and guide them through the entire process. One of my most significant grievances was her failure to dedicate time to walking me through the contract or offer in substantial detail. I entrusted her to provide guidance and vigilance, to act in my best interests, but it often felt as though she was merely going through the motions, or perhaps her attention was divided. It's commendable that Ansley Real Estate attempted to rectify some of the costly errors by reimbursing me for 18% of the errors. Their kindness, responsiveness, and professionalism in addressing the situation are positive aspects of my experience. However, the situation could not be completely resolved or undo the consequences of what transpired during the real estate transaction. In conclusion, while Trisha is certainly a likable and responsive individual, her inattention to contractual details, subpar negotiation skills, and failure to proactively represent my interests during the sale translated into legitimate financial losses and made the process of selling my home an exhausting and emotionally taxing ordeal. Despite high hopes based on a glowing review from a friend, my experience ultimately did not live up to that recommendation.
TLDR: RUN FROM THIS AGENCY IF THEY ARE YOUR REPRESENTATION OR THAT OF A POTENTIAL HOME YOU ARE VIEWING!!! First would like to be clear that Ansley was not our agent or representation, but that of the sellers of the home we purchased. Except for the first meeting, the seller's agent was unprofessional and unresponsive during and especially after the selling process with some outstanding items. We inquired about getting the seller's new address in order to forward the mail that we were still receiving and this was met with scathing refusals from both the seller, as well as the Ansley agent. We had to take the Agency For Sale sign out of the yard ourselves, as well as inquire many times on when the lock box would be taken and the key that was to our home be given back to us. Once the sign that sat at the street for 3 days was taken, the lock box was as well without the key being left anywhere. My wife reached out to the Agency directly to inquire about this and was told by the girl that answered the phone she would get this to management for an answer. Instead what she did was contact the seller's agent who in turn took my wife's number and called her direct. The only reason my wife answered the phone was because she thought it was the broker calling back, Maybe some of the other agents at this Broker are professional, but one rotten apple can spoil the bunch. Follow the advice at the top!
I can not say enough great things about Thom McCorkle & the way he handled our transaction. My nana needed to sell her home to be closer to us. It was a very detailed transaction, with a lot of moving pieces (death certificate, trust, HOA, government loan types, etc). He handled our listing with such grace and poise and I really respected how he treated my family and my 80 year old Nana during this huge life change for her. I will always recommend Thom and his agency to anyone in Atlanta that needs their hand held a little more than normal during the sales process. Thank you so much!
My husband & I requested a showing at at Rivercrest Dr Woodstock Ga through our agent for Saturday at noon. Upon arrival a car was in the driveway, windows up, you hear clearly someone was in the house. The Agent rung the doorbell several times, announced from the door we were here to see the house, no answer. We waited for about 10 mins still no answer. It was cleared to us the owner didn't want people of color in his house or buying it. To the Realty Company, let your client know this is 2020 not 1960 and tell his neighbors to cleanup their yards presentation is everything.
Our agent was Ashley Altenbach - she was incredible to work with and we closed on a home within 2 months after first engaging with Ansley Atlanta. Ashley and her staff (Jean was incredible to work with as well!) are extremely knowledgeable on the area, were extremely helpful and responsive. I have already recommended my friends and colleagues to Ansley Real Estate and Ashley (and Jean) specifically and will continue to do so!
Melissa Cohn is the best realtor we've ever worked with. From buying and selling a home with her, she always acted on your behalf to ensure the best deal and to ensure you are taken care of. She is the most knowledgeable and trustworthy agent we've come across and I could not recommend her more. Melissa is always fast to respond and will go above and beyond for you. She was truly made to be a real estate agent :)
They sold a $1.5 million house and their customer left mattresses and furniture on Monroe drive and then they refused to respond to requests to have their seller properly dispose of their waste which was left sitting there after they moved out. Despicable. They were paid $45,000 on the transaction. Beware this is a very difficult form to work with:
Our agent, Laura Hererra, was outstanding throughout the entire process! She was knowledgeable, accessible, and such a pleasure to work with. Laura was great at explaining every step of the process to us and answering all of our questions. I would recommend Laura to anybody looking for an enjoyable and efficient home buying experience!
Me and my fiance used Hunter Ramsey to buy our first home. He was very professional and respectable and took time to show us many homes before we decided on the one we wanted to buy. He also bought a home warranty for us to close the deal on the house. I definitely recommend Hunter Ramsey for anybody that's needing a honest realtor.
Conley Fendler is a great agent. She was patient in helping us find a house to buy. Showed us a lot of houses and never felt put out when asked to set up viewings. Worked to meet us at any time we asked. She is also selling a house for us and was quick to set up an open house and for sale signs and photos. Hard worker!
Truly professional and experienced development and marketing Team! Very knowledgeable of market trends and quality communities and locations for current and future development. Highly recommend Ansley development for all real estate needs!
Thank you Andrea Cueny of Ansley Realty! Under contract in two days with full ask. She navigated the Covid 19 shutdowns and we closed virtually in record time. Andrea is amazing along with her entire team!
Used the agent Ben Harris when selling our midtown condo. He was very helpful to us. Would not hesitate in using Ben again.
Love working with people who care about the best interest for the consumer and me! …
