DON'T GO NEAR THIS DODGY COMPANY We should of stayed away when we saw their name. In the English dictionary the meaning of Argy is English Slang for Sometimes Disparaging and Offensive. This says it all. From the beginning it started with incompetence when they failed to supply a damage report for us to fill out. Then when the lady next door in the neighbouring villa started with the abuse we were told we needed to handle the situation ourselves, even though the complaint was clearly the landlords problem. Then when we just had enough of all the incompetence and vacated the premises, signed all the relevant papers for them to file so we could get our bond returned. They failed to send the rental bond board the correct papers, which meant we had to continuously call and hassle the idiots to fill out the right forms so we could get our bond back. This went on for a RIDICULOUS 2 months. NEVER EVER AGAIN will we ever be tempted by a premises if these guys are managing it WE WILL STAY COMPLETELY CLEAR OF IT. THEY WOULD HAVE TO BE THE DODGIEST REAL ESTATE AGENTS I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. I have an Exellent rental history and have even been told by every other real estate agents that tennents like myself rarely come along. So there wasn't anything I did to provoke this company's incompetence. I believe they were trying to negate responsibility and then assumed I would just give up and pocket my Bond. Which I'm fairly sure they have done all too many times before. -------------------------------------- Well isn't this interesting. Seems that from reading all the other complaints about ARGY on here they are fairly similar, which is clear to me that Your response is one made from a reaction to the truth you read about yourself. Clearly you have no idea who I am, as you have created lies to cover up your incompetent behaviour. The important thing is that authorities know who you are and have already created an investigation concerning your dishonest behaviour.

Definitely would not recommend ARGY Property, ARGY United Realty Pty Ltd, Haus Property or whatever ABN, ASIC this company or past companies has been listed under. The property I rent is owned yet not maintained by a former Principal of this company. I have had mould issues and the property manager was notified of this on 27/2/18, to date (29/05/18) nothing has been rectified about the BLACK mould, aside from 4 plumbers inspections, various unanswered emails and a building that is not structually sound, OH&S Compliant nor BCA compliant. To the point where the dampness is very much evident in the cupboard, carpet, ceiling, window, bathroom. Bedroom 2 is inhabitable! Basically the owner did not address the concern so I decided to take action and have 2 NCAT, Tenancy Tribunal at Sutherland Court and I am awaiting hearings with this agent. I can list a number of items of incompetence from the Senior Property Manger (but as I can see from other reviews her name is mentioned quite often) and the Accounts Mgr during my tenancy but really in essence I will just give them 1* as that is the lowest rating I could give. I had an appointment at 11am for an apartment veiwing in Newtown with Randy. I called him directly on Friday morning at 10:17am as I couldn't make the Saturday veiwing as I work in Hospitality. Randy suggested an 11am veiwing today - I agreed, I travelled an hour to be outside the apartment on time and I was left waiting, His phone was off so I called the agency itself and the woman (Maddy i think) who answered the phone was lovely and understanding who came from Kogarah to Newtown to show me this appartment. Mistakes happen I can understand that- I wouldn't make this complaint if this was all. I had another phone call with Randy at 12.21pm today - He was very rude and abrupt making it out like I was lying. It was not my fault that he didn't put my appointment in his calendar- "well you saw it so do you want it or not" I said "honestly I've had a pretty bad experience and you're not making it any better or comforting" Randy proceeded to dismiss my situation and the phone call ended. I do not reccomend this agency or Randy after my experience , I do however appreciate the time and effort made by Madd

Patrick Swanson - We purchased a house in the St George area from an out of area agent (Still Inner-South Sydney) in May of this year, for convenience we elected to lease the property through the agent that sold us the property. The property ended up sitting on the market for 4 weeks post settlement with very little interest and no feedback from the leasing team. We elected to cancel the lease agreement we had in place with the agency we had purchased the property from, and started conversations with Patrick Swanson from Argy Property with regards to leasing the property. I handed a beautiful two bedroom apartment over to their rental department to manage for me. Two years later the place had been trashed and rent hadn't been paid for several months, leaving me $12,000 out of pocket. When I informed them that I would use another agent for the next rental, they immediately stopped dealing with the insurance company to help recover the losses they had allowed to happen, even though they were on a 60 day notice period. The property managers appeared clueless on the process involved in evicting a tenant. They informed me that they had an eviction order from the tribunal, but the tenant had changed the locks, so they couldn't access the property and didn't know what to do. They never chased up outstanding rent unless I asked them to and didn't act on my intructions to terminate the lease at the end of the fixed term, when the amount of rent owing was far less.

We purchased our dream home through Walter. To be honest, Walter was a breath of fresh air. It is rare now a days to find someone who stands for integrity - true honesty- in his work. We saw this in a few ways. When Walter made promises to us, he followed through with them. When we requested to visit the property for an extra property inspection, he facilitated this by speaking with the owner. He communicated our needs to the owner, and vice versa. Walter also pushed us to the very limit of our budget (which was good for the owners). If you are choosing an agent to sell your property, could highly recommend Walter. One thing you want as purchasers (or potential purchasers) is to feel valued; and we certainly felt that throughout all our interactions. If I were to sell, I would want someone like Walter to help; someone who at the heart was honest, proactive and personable.

If I could give no star I would. The unit 10/33 Baxter Ave, Kogarah had water leakage for weeks during our lease and the landlord and property manager Shanna Kelly have been extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. They have ZERO communication skills! I had to clean up everyday to protect their property from water damage. They did not fix it and refused to compensate us. They only care about money not their tenants' wellbeing. Also, the neighbours upstairs was extremely noisy and the one in number 37 is a hoarder who constantly screaming at night. Good luck getting a good sleep if you live there. Stay away from these greedy and incompetent individuals. Worst place ever!

This was our first time renting a property in Sydney. Mr. Michael Saroukos from Argy Property, Kogarah helped us find perfect property to rent in Kogarah itself. Terrible. From poor lease signing, to previous tenants belongings left in premises to a 3 month mould problem, was noted on ingoing report by me. Yes my place is owned by none other than Mr Argy. So please reconsider using this agent for you investment, purchase or as a landlord. Im going to the Tribunal with them your more than welcome to see first hand how they look after you. I wont mention professionalism, BCA compliance, because these are things not in their vocabularly. I would give them minus stars but the lowest rating is a 1.
