I got my hair done last Wednesday I told the stylist I had used overtone in my hair but because it was washed out she didn’t think it would be a problem with the highlights. After processing they came out a brassy pink color from the overtone and she did a rose gold toner which made my hair look orange and brassy. She offered for me to come back if I decide I want to change them in the future but after getting home and washing and styling it I do not trust her to do any color corrections. My hair is very choppy and there is about a 2 inch chunk that is missing from the bottom left side. I called today to ask for a refund and the manager wouldn’t talk to me and used the receptionist as her gate keeper passing messages back and fourth. They would not refund only offered for me to go back in, but with such poor quality the first time I don’t trust the salon to fix it as it will only have to get shorter and shorter. I would have considered it but the lack of professionalism from the manager and not taking ownership of the issue by refusing to speak to me it solidified my stance on needing a refund not a second chance. I’m calling my bank to dispute the charges. I recommend avoiding this salon.

This was my first visit to this salon, but I already have another appointment. My hair is quite short but it had grown too long for "short" hair and was sticking out in all directions. Christine listened to me and somehow processed the considerable input I gave her and gave me the best cut I have had since moving to Arizona two-1/2 years ago. She blow dried it and it looked great. I wondered if it could be "dressed up" if I wanted something more special when my husband and I go out. She added just a little matte clay to her fingers and, voila! I went home with a very sassy and cute "messy" hairstyle that I can't wait to try next time we go out for an evening. For daily wear, I just have to blow dry while rubbing my head all around with my hand, and everything just falls into place. The cut she gave me added volume and makes my hair look thicker than it is. Happy customer!

My long locks hadn't been loved in over a year and Rachel fixed me up like brand new. Lots of fun layers, all over gorgeous color, and most important (which many stylists have messed up in the past), my bangs are on point! To top it off, we had delightful chit chat, super easy to talk to. My mom went at the same time and got lovely all over lightening and a great cut, but I didn't catch her girl's name. She wasn't a talker, which my mom didn't mind just zoning and not talking, that would bother me. I literally just googled hair salon near me looked a few reviews and made an appointment for 2 days ahead of time and now will be going back when I'm in town! Like best cut ever.

I wish I didn't have to write this but I feel it's necessary. I felt like the haircut I received was rushed, sloppy, and just being in the salon was an inconvenience to the staff. After my hair had dried when I got home, it was evident that my feelings were correct. The left side was a good amount longer than the right, and all the ends had been cut flat, or blunt I guess. It just looks bad and I've had multiple parties confirm that it looks awkward. I 'm going to have a friend do their best to trim up the areas where it looks the worst. I wish I could reverse time and undo the cut and get my money back. Would not recommend.

When we walked into this salon katarina was at the front. She got us right in and started. There wasn't a wait time. She was friendly and professional. She set a good example of colored hair by having her hair colored. Heather was the cosmotologist that cut our hair. She was very friendly and very knowledgable about color, hair health and style. I would recommend using this salon. They are professional, friendly and do a great job all in a timely manor. They will also use many colors that other salons will not. They are not afraid to to try new colors new styles. I give this salon a five. They will be seeing us often.

They were super nice. The lady I had was quick and easy to talk to. I’m straighten my hair and have naturally African American hair. I just wanted a trim and she asked me if I want a dry cut since I came in with straight hair. I couldn’t have been more happy with the fact that she actually asked me and didn’t try to make me get my hair washed. Being a lady of color I have had lots of issues over the years with washing/straightening/or just being turned down in general for my hair type. Thank you for being an awesome place! Definitely will be back!

As someone with social anxiety, I don’t recommend. I had to wait over 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Only to see two other stylists walk around and do nothing but avoid me. I understand waiting for 5-10 minutes but from the looks of it they weren’t busy. The “manager” I’m assuming just kept leaving in and out of the shop. While the other stylist hid behind the wall but kept peeking out to see who was waiting. When I asked about the wait; the receptionist was clearly annoyed. I had to leave because I wasn’t even acknowledged.

Every time I've gone, I've had a great experience! I've had different stylists each time and each time my hair looks and feels amazing!!! The first time I had long hair and wanted to keep the length, the stylist did an amazing job of getting my hair back to healthy while keeping it long and styled it, I felt bangin! This last time I decided to go short and the stylist did a perfect job of working with my natural curl to give me the style I wanted while making sure I could easily style it myself. 10/10 would recommend 100% of the time!

VERY horrible job. Asked for a balayage and showed reference picture of what I wanted and got my whole hair colored and a few highlights. Front Two pieces didn’t match the rest of the hair color and didn’t blend. Very unprofessional job, blending and coloring was way off. Then manager supposedly fixed it but made my hair worse. Very brassy and orangy color, instead of a blonde and dark blonde tone. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Manager said she can do it but didn’t know how to blend or do a balayage.

I have come here with very mixed results. Sometimes I get a good hair cut and other times not so much. The last time I went I was given literally the worst hair cut I've ever gotten. This is coming from a girl whose mom used to cut her hair. The gentleman who did the butchering seemed intoxicated or something. Although they sometimes can give fairly good haircuts, I'm just not interested in that kind of a gamble and will not return after a couple years of loyalty.

I came in the other day quite shortly noticed. I had just died my hair myself and didn't love it, so I thought I'd give a different style a chance. The nice lady who helped me was very understanding even though I had very little idea what I wanted, and she constantly made sure I was okay with what she was doing! I got curtain bangs, which ended up looking great with my new hair color- so thank y'all so much! I'll definitely be coming back!

My son Brody and I absolutely adore Rachel!! I have followed her from her old establishment to Arizona Hair Company because she is not just amazing at cutting hair, but amazing at making my son feel welcomed and at ease. Getting his hair cut used to be a traumatic, tear filled experience and I credit Rachel for making it a smooth, fun and now an anticipated event!! If you have a child that needs a haircut, Rachel is the one to go see!!

Topaz cut my hair today and she was so nice and helpful!! i told her i was nervous about cutting my hair short but she did a great job and fixed my damaged hair and fixed the horrible dye job that i tried to do by myself.. lol i did not feel judged at all for the condition my hair was in, she was completely positive about my hair and assured me that we could fix it. my hair is now all one color and feels/looks awesome. i'll be back :)

Arizona hair company treats it's employees horribly! management talks and abuses in front of us clients. my hair stylist cried because of the manager yelling at her because she was out on a break and a walkin came in while on her BREAK! I called for my regular appointment and was setup with someone not familiar with my hair or color n cut lying to me about her schedule. this location although new needs an overhaul of management!

They completely ruined my hair and I spent over $100 dollars...I'm so upset and even went back to get it fixed if possible only to get it ruined even more ...the color and cut is completely awful and I am mortified and now I dont have enouph hair left for anyone to fix till it grows back out ...I DID NOT want my hair shortened and the color came out just terrible. I will be contacting their corporate office.!!!

I have gone to Arizona Hair Co. twice for some extreme color changes. My first was a blue green mix that I loved. I decided to mix it up 3 months later and just went plain blonde, being a brunette at the beginning of all this. Brittini, the manager, did an amazing job on me both times. Very friendly and professional. I'd highly recommend their services. The shop I went to was off Cactus in Glendale.

I have been going to Misty at the 7th St and Union Hills for so long (10years +). She makes sure she doesn't do anything that will destroy my hair. I have trusted her with numerous cuts, colors and styles. I drive from 119th and Cactus because she is worth the drive! I consistently get compliments on my hair. I have referred others and they were pleased as well. She is the best!

I just finished styling my hair after getting it cut by Topaz. It’s been a very, VERY long time since I’ve actually gotten a cut I like right away!! Usually I don’t mind it and like it within the next few weeks when it grows in and evens out a bit. I’ve never been one to stay loyal to a stylist but I don’t know how I’m going to let anyone else touch my hair now!! Thank you!!

I got a color not even close to what I asked for. I spent a ridiculous amount of money and time only to walk out almost in tears. My hair is carrot orange when I wanted a light rose gold. I won't go back to get it fixed because they don't seem like they know what they are doing, it would just end up worse. Waste of time and money to go here if you want more than a basic cut.

I have been putting off getting a haircut for a while now because I didn't have a salon to go to and didn't want to pay a bunch of money for a simple hair cut. I decided to stop here after reading the reviews and at $17 you can't beat it! Phoebe cut my hair and did an amazing job. She knew exactly what to do for my extremely thick hair and was very quick! Came in on the weekend as a walkin haircut. Even though it was super busy the receptionist Kira was very kind and determined to find a spot for me. The salon was super busy which looked like a good sign and it was. My stylist Heather did a fantastic job with my hair. I will definitely be coming back. But would definitely suggest making an appointment as it was busy.

Keira was very easy to talk to on the phone and was very kind. Keira also is able to do hair despite being a receptionist. She has her licence and my hair cut done by her was amazing. The stylist I usually go to is Heather. Heather has done my hair many times. I've done reds, blues, purples, and so many more. My hair is still healthy. She is such a good stylist.

Sarah is AWESOME!!! I have been coming to here for years and everytime I get my hair done, I look like a new woman. Just recently, we have done different colors and tones. I love doing the purple highlights!! Now I have a darker color with some blonde highlights and it is beautiful. I will recommend anyone to go and see Sarah at AZ Hair Co. You won't regret it.

If you come here, make sure you ask for Misty! She is the best and takes her time. We made the mistake of seeing a different hairdresser there because Misty had been booked and we ended up coming back to Misty to fix it and she did amazing. She really listens to what you want and takes her job seriously. Not to mention she's just a sweetheart.

Victoria was legit! She helped me out, I needed a small fix to my hair and she went above and beyond for me, even styled my hair...all this and no charge because I'd been there the day prior and had a few things that needed a fix. Kind, calm and really confident with her sheers! I'll be coming back Victoria, thanks again, love my hair!

Ask for Phoebe! She is wonderful and does an excellent job with cut and color and conversation! She did a fantastic job giving me a long bob with it stacked in the back and she did my roots and redid my "teal" with a true teal. Awesome salon! I'm new to AZ and this place came highly recommended. I'm from NYC so it takes alot to impress me. My hair is thin and curly, not the easiest to cut and style. I can definitely say it exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly, salon is clean and above all, Misty is the best! Thanks and I'll be back.

My wife went to this place and had one of the worst experiences ever getting her hair colored and cut. The stylist was unprofessional and wouldn't do things my wife asked answering with a simple "Oh, you don't need that." Simply put, for what she paid (over $125), she could have had an 8 year old do a better job.

A lot cheaper than most places for basic hair cut. I'm a guy it was simple. Wanted a cut like Dean Winchester and they did it....simple didn't have the fancy massage chairs or massage stuff but the haircut then...then...a hair wash was nice and they used the tea tree shampoo and a good style cream. Will go again.

I had the wonderful pleasure of getting my hair done with Heather.I had long hair and was ready to go short I was explained every step that was going to be done..The salon was very clean and everyone was dressed professional . They gave me a really uneven haircut. And I was already cutting my hair short so now I have to let my hair grow out uneven till it’s even enough to get it cut again. Definitely wouldn’t go here if you have curly hair. They say they know how but they really don’t take it from my uneven haircut.

They are great. I was on vacation in AZ and desperately needed a color touch-up. They fit me in that day and Victoria was terrific. Matched the old color after bringing out swatches. Worked diligently while chatting and I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Loved everything about the experience.

The staff kindly set a convenient appointment and took care of my mess of a head. I don’t know hair-speak and it’s difficult for me to explain what I think I want from a haircut. My stylist somehow translated and pulled it off. Thank you! I will be back and others should check them out.

Abeer cut my hair and she did a great job. She was very friendly and my cut for the price point is shockingly great. $17 for a haircut is far less than any other place I've gotten a haircut. The salon is very clean and updated. I would definitely return for another cut!

I go here consistently for Misty who does a cute and very even bob. I don't want to put my hair up for work, so this works well. I love it, it's perfect every time and I was always horrified to get my hair cut. I found it easy to book online too.

I used to use this place but no more. The last couple times I've been in its always someone new and there not very friendly. I'm a great tipper also, so I've just decided to go somewhere new where they appreciate the business.

It says walk ins welcome..it lies, the receptionist at the desk asked two hairdressers that were doing nothing, and they both said they didn't have time, So rude

The hairdresser was nice, but a bit to fast and forgot the leave in conditioner, by the time I got home I had to rewash it. What a waisted. Nice cut!

Rachel did an amazing job bleaching and dying my hair pink a couple months ago I loved it!! Just had her cut 4.5 inches off and it looks great!
