I engaged Mark Squire to draft a simple Will for me, during our initial consultation he appeared competent. At the follow-up appointment, I arrived at the Vinden Lawyers office at the scheduled time, and waited 10 minutes for Mark, who then provided me with the Will for my review, I noted that he had given me the incorrect Will as the the names of the beneficiaries were not know to me. When I pointed this out to him, he asked me if I was sure. He then told me that he would print the correct Will, approximately 15 minutes later the correct Will appeared after the secretary typed up the correct version. This whole process took almost one hour and there was no acknowledgment from Mark for the inconvenience this error caused or the fact that he gave me someone else's private documents. Very unprofessional and certainly not what you want from a solicitor. Avoid Mark Squire and Vinden Lawyers.

Posting as a psuedonym as matters are on foot. We had the displeasure of dealing with Sheena at the Chatswood office. An appalling level of incompetency. We were forced to sack them as counsel and have now had to have our files reviewed by competent counsel. Avoid at all costs except in the simplest of matters (eg witnessing documents)

Absolutely useless. They're holding documents for me that I'm trying to get a hold of. I've called them four times over the course of 10 days, each time I've been promised a call back but heard nothing.

Called the office and asked to speak to someone with IP background. I was told that a Matt Metri would call me back. I am still waiting for my call to be returned. Incredibly unprofessional!
