I’ve been going here for 6 months since I moved to the neighbourhood and after today I’m officially done with this salon. I started going when Peter and Lin worked there who were both extremely talented at doing nails. Lin shaped my nails perfectly, and was extremely fast. I always looked forward to my next appointment with her. Around the Christmas season I found out her and Peter are no longer there, I returned to give the salon the benefit of the doubt and attempted to try someone new. My last 3 appointments I’ve requested to have my nails done with Mary. She’s very nice, but not as fast and my last 3 appointments she’s showed up late. When I walk in on time for my appt the owner takes over to remove my shellac/gel and because Mary is late he starts taking over to shape my nails and start the filling process until she arrives. I don’t appreciate this as I didn’t request the owner for my appointment and quite frankly, don’t think he knows what he’s actually doing when he attempts to do your nails. Today he started putting on powder instead of biogel based on what I requested in my original appointment booking. I had to tell him I wanted biogel and he was confused as he was putting powder on my nails and told me it was gel powder that I did not ask for. In between the appointment I asked if Mary would still be showing up to do my nails and he told me to move to her chair and wait until she arrived mid appointment, so my half done nails were sticky as I waited there until she arrived as he originally started my nails with filling them. I showed up at 5:05 for my 5:15 appt and I got out of there at 6:40 pm for a gel fill and polish change. I’ve paid $50 every time I’ve gone and after all of the chaos from todays appointment they tried to charge me $60 to boot. They lack extreme professionalism and after trying my best to give them the benefit of the doubt after Lin left who I loved doing my nails, I can now confirm I will not be returning back. I loved how close they were to my place but the last three appointments I haven’t walked out as happy as I used to be. One of my hands looks like it has more nail polish on it then the other and I’m extremely disappointed.

I made a last minute appointment to get my shellac manicure because the shellac I had gotten at another nail salon 4 days ago had started to chip. They were able to fit me in and Vincent was the one who did my manicure. He was very gentle with removing the shellac. I’d never experienced that before which was a wonderful surprise. Usually the aestheticians just scrape it off by any means necessary. Although I have short nails, he did his best to give me the shape I wanted and I’m very happy with the result. He also said that if they start to chip, Before my next appointment, I can come back and get it fixed, no problem… From what I saw them do for other clients, I’d never seen such wizardry! Powders, potions, extensions, mixing of colours, and making sure clients were pleased. Even though there were couple of people who had just walked in without appointments, at no point the staff rushed the existing clients or made the walk ins feel uneasy. Overall, I was very happy with my experience. The staff is very patient and detail oriented, prices are good, and it’s clean. What more would a gal want from a nail salon? I would definitely come back again.

Just adding to my initial review, since I've been back. The refill on my nails went great, loved them and then got a manicure and pedicure once I needed to move on from my gel nails. The time and attention and care all the staff put into their work, and for an AMAZING PRICE, is really top notch and I felt like a Queen for the day :) ............ (original review) First time I really go to get my nails done and the owner and technician were able to do a great job copying the IG pic I showed. I was super nervous as I am just starting to get fancy nails as a non-binary masculine presenting person, and I couldn't be happier. I was treated warmly, respectfully and we had fun! I've now got to go back to get the acrylic fill but haven't had any issues with adhesion or quality at all. I'm sure some of the negative reviews are true, no one is perfect and mistakes happen, but I've got nothing but great things to say about the establishment (clean, healthy), the people (friendly and fun and good listeners) and my experience. Oh, the owner is a FANTASTIC eyebrow waxer too!

Worst nail place I’ve been to! I was seated on table with ashes and fake nail pieces of the last customer. I asked for French ombre, which is a regular design. The guy did such a horrible and nasty job on my nails, and when I complained he threw my hand and told me to go to the other guy!! The other guy put a regular color on my nails, I just wanted it to end and leave the place. They also screwed up my friend’s nails!! Terrible service, rude and unprofessional staff!! Never coming back again, I suggest you never step a foot in this place.

First time here but I was impressed by the care that was put into my nails. I have very short nails and most of them broke as the previous place I went to did a poor job. Tony ( I believe that's his name) took his time and made sure not to cut or file my nails too deep. I wear my nails natural and only put shellac. The shop is owned by Peter and his nail art is amazing. Hope once my nails grow long enough to have him put some designs on my nails. Definitely would recommend.

If I could give Peter 1 Star I would, he doesn’t get back to you after he says it thousands of time. The price is crazy & not worth it. I’m replying to the one you just replied too, this is scotian I came last week to get my nails done by u Peter. Your work is not the greatest n it’s not all the same. I’m not sure who you are replying too LOL . My 4 other girls come here to not anymore we found a better spot on Jane St! Have your self a good night n good luck with ur job!

Just completed an amazing mani & pedi day at Atlantis Nails Art. Peter and the team are sooo amazing at what they do. His brother Tony did a phenomenal job on the pedicures. Phat was the hostess of the mostess!!! He made sure all was running smoothly Peter, Tony and Phat are an awesome team of guys who truly put love in to their business and people. My friend and I are so happy we met these guys. Keep up the fantastic work!!!! See y’all soon!!

Peter is full of lies and will extra charge you, and if couple of ur diamonds from ur nails break he will recharge you or tell u he will get back to you cause he always seem to be busy such a lier, his business is not great his prices are not great either it’s not worth it.. & his refill sucks. Customer service is not great. I’ll definitely not be going here again . Not worth the money or time to waste. & if I could put 0 stars I would.

This is the best salon everyone is friendly professional and talented. An amazing salon for long instagram style nails. Ask for Peter he can do anything you want. It’s a bit expensive but the quality is worth it, u won’t get the same nails anywhere else. I drive an hour to come here & have tried every other salon from here to my house over the years. Peter is the best nail tech I’ve met in 15 years.

Honestly Peter is such a waste of your time and money .. he doesn’t reply to you after he says he will . His refill sucks and he doesn’t do it properly either he just paints the other nail polish u want on top the one ur wearing. Waste of ur money . The price is ridiculous for everything. Customer service sucks. They talk bad about u in their language. I do not recommend.

Atlantis Nails is the best nail spot in Toronto. The staff are super friendly and everyone is incredibly talented. I have been to a few spots in Toronto, but this is my favourite!! I’ll never go anywhere else. My nails always looks perfect and they can do any design you ask for. My nails always last really long too! Do yourself a favour and try Atlantis Nails :)

Was good a few months ago but those nail artists are gone now :( got my nails done and 2 days later one broke.. got it fixed another day later 3 of them broke.. it’s not the same not good quality anymore.. im so sad about this I have 7 nails left after ONE week of getting my nails done?

Atlantis Nails Art provided fantastic services. Leon gave me a beautiful gel nail art design and he cleaned up my acrylic set. He’s very talented, warm and kind and I highly recommend his services! The salon owner and Leon were very welcoming. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

Biggest scam. I went there for a refill. They told me it's $35. And the owner charged me $65. Then said I had to pay for the polish.
