i had a total carbi rebuild about a month ago and av had a couple of revisits back to the so called specialist to try and get it going properly and the second visit he didnt even look at the carbi... saturday morning i thought sod it im not taking it back there anymore so i called rodney our real friendly and easy to get on with carbi specialist and he turned up that afternoon and found the problem the moment he lifted the bonnet. what a geeza after sorting out the problem and also setting the timing right my nissan patrol runs like a dream, best its eve driven... i wont hesitate to call him again when i have a carburettor problem. such a nice bloke to... cheers rodney

Our old hiace van had been stalling at idle and our regular mechanic didn’t know how to work on carburettors (nor any other mechanic we took the van to), so we gave Rodney a call. He came out the next day and within a few hours, Rodney had our carby in perfect working condition. He has over 40 years experience and really knows his stuff. Service was impeccable and he was such a delight to chat to while he worked on our van - which now runs amazing. We are stoked with the end result and would 100% use his services again.

Rodney is an absolute wealth of knowledge with all things automotive and carburettors especially. Was stuck in brisbane whilst travelling with a crook carburettor and Rodney spared no details with fault finding and overhauling my carb. My van is now running sweeter than ever. Rodney unfortunately is a dying breed of mechanic and finding someone who has the know how to work on older vehicles is becoming harder and harder. If you are ever having issues with a carburettored vehicle, I'd recommend Rodney above all else.

I am retired now and have a classic car. I have had a lot of so called mechanics try to fix my car and have wasted a lot of money. But I finally came across Rodney who was not only professional, but honest, fair priced and REALLY new what he was doing and fixed it. Good honest mechanics are few and far between these days and Rodney is one. Genuine and a pleasure to deal with and will certainly be calling him again. The absolute worst experience I have ever had to deal with. Told me it was going to take 2-3 weeks , and 2-3hours for new rebuild on the carbie , I supplied all parts no communication barley answerd any calls or texts I had to keep getting I touch with him, he ended up having my carbies for 3months!!! Would never ever use again or recommend to anyone to use tried charging me double what I originally agreed to, no paper trail with him or Invoice straight up dodgy. Would not use ever again

Rodney had to visit my place 3 times to get my Kingswood ute running right due to a cowboy who wrecked it in the first place. Rodney did a fantastic job and came around for free just to fine tune it and then we had a cuppa afterwards. Thanks for the help Rodney as he called a spade a spade and in particular fixed my ute where others wrecked it in the beginning making it a harder job in the first place. Thanks again.

Rodney is incredible. I’ve called upon him twice now and wouldn’t be going anywhere else. Rodney helped resurrect my Distributor, I was desperately needing it fixed and Rodney came out promptly pulled it out took it home replaced what needed doing, sandblasted it back to new and had it back in my car in 2 days. Great job. Highly recommend, tells a good yarn as well.

On time and on budget . Rodney promptly diagnosed the blocked carby idle jet and repaired it . He has an extensive knowledge regarding fuel systems and is a total Pro . Most mechanics know as much about carbies as Rodney has forgotten . Good job.

Good man knows his stuff, very pricey for a call out not far from Sunnybank. DEFINITELY would've went to someone else if I knew id be charged $175 for 40 minutes of work.
