I waited well over a month to leave this review and already driven the car almost one thousand miles. I didn't have the budget to buy new so for the second time in my life I had to look for a used car which is never an easy task. The first time a bought a used car it was from a Subaru dealership in New Jersey and ended up costing a lot and giving me so much trouble that this time around I was very skeptical and cautious in my search. Before discovering Empire Auto sales I visited many used dealerships in the tri-state area and I can confidently say that Alex and his team make Empire Auto sales a special place in the sense that they carry out business with integrity. They have many cars that are reasonably priced and run well. The particular car that I purchased from them is a Toyota Echo from 2002. The car has now been running for well over a month and it has given me no major problem whatsoever in the 1000 miles I drove. Let's not forget that we are dealing with used cars so they cannot be expected to be flawless. I had to change the rear shock which was old ans leaky but probably would have been fine for another year or so. I don't expect a dealership to know about a problems like these since they are minor and tucked away, that is why my 5 starts review. Everything major about the car is running perfectly and for the asking price it is worth every single dime I spent. I am very satisfied with the car and with the costumer service that Alex and his team provided. Alex was straightforward and very clear about every step of the process. No hidden fees anywhere, clear about costs and timing and honest from beginning to end. I can't speak highly enough of this business and will recommend it to anyone I hear is looking for a used car.

Alex is one of the owners), Levan and a few other names that I cannot remember, every encounter represented a service excellence standard that makes you feel like a valued and respected customer. In the spirit of full transparency, I am a consumer that asks very specific and clarifying questions so that I am fully aware of the expectations in any transaction. I am also picky and like things to be to standard and in order. Eddie and George worked with me 100% to address and meet, to the best of their ability all of my questions and concerns in a more than fair and professional manner. Above the purchase, that level of service means more to me than the product itself. When there was a potential challenge registering the vehicle at DMV, Eddie was readily available to help me through the process even before the Auto Empire officially opened for business. They're either dishonest or bad at their job. Was told that they made cars drivable. I bought my van less than six months ago and it has given me problems from jump. The van was only used for occasional work travel, not personal use, so it has not been not driven much since purchase. I already had the rear diff mount replaced, and now the front differential failed, causing the transmission to blow. I have been stranded in West Virginia for two weeks waiting on a repair, not to mention I'm out thousands of dollars. Mechanic told me that differentials don't just fail. They would have known about the differential issues before selling it to me, and if they didn't then they did not properly inspect the car before selling it. He also said I'm lucky that the breakdown did not cause a major accident. I checked lemon laws, and legally they did not have to disclose since the car is older. But laws aside, it was dishonest and immoral to sell me this vehicle and not disclose its issues. I am a musician, and I have lost over $1,000 in revenue from shows missed, plus $300 for a rental car to finally get moving again so that I don't cancel every show I have scheduled this spring. Direct quote from salesperson: "We aren't officially certified used, but we basically do the same level of repair on cars here." Shame on me for believing them, I guess. "Don't sell cars to people that will endanger their lives" seems like a low bar, but I guess that's where we are these days.

I had an excellent experience buying a car from Alex at Auto Empire. On my first call, I asked what the total price would be (car price plus tax, title, registration) and that's the price I ultimately paid (which was an excellent deal). Other dealers looked like they had good deals until they added thousands of dollars of "paperwork" fees, at Auto Empire the additional fee was just $75 -- all other fees are mandated by the state. I was also able to pay in cash to avoid debit card transaction or financing fees. I really appreciated the pricing transparency from Auto Empire. As for the car itself, I had done my research and knew the model I wanted to purchase, one with an excellent reliability rating. It was an older car in excellent shape, with a clean CarFax report (provided by Auto Empire). The inspection and test drive confirmed that the car was in great shape. Alex and his staff worked me through the transaction process smoothly and patiently helped to correct errors that my car insurance company made. I've had the car over to my mechanic who made a few repairs common for a vehicle of this age, who also confirmed that the reported condition of the car from Auto Empire was accurate. I hope that it will be a long time before I need to purchase another car, but when I do, I'll check to see what Auto Empire has available.

I bought a work van from them and two days later the driving belt began to make an awful loud noise, I had no choice but to change it (out of my OWN pocket and was never refunded even though I was given warranty for engine and transmission). I asked my mechanic to check the state of the van for me and was told the engine and transmission oils were extremely low almost empty. I live about 2 hrs. away And was forced to return to get van checked out. Their "mechanic" checked it out and "fixed it", I was told everything should be working in order. The very next day the van did NOT want to turn back on (i thought the battery was broken), I called my own trusted mechanic and he came to my rescue and told me the sockets that hold the battery were LOOSE. My mechanic tighten them and the van turned back on, again I had to pay out of MY OWN POCKET! two days later one of the vans back lights stopped working. I understand it is a used car but this dealership should have enough decency to sell cars that are in good working condition. Also their "mechanic" should be more careful and check thoroughly when inspecting a car because he absolutely did NOT fix or check for any other problems when inspecting the van. Beware when you considering buying a car from them and always check every detail.

This October , after both my truck and my better half's SUV ended up in the shop, she decided that she wanted a newer vehicle. We live in Maine but there was nothing in our budget. She came across AutoEmpire and made 1 call. Alex took the call as we looked at vehicles. When we decided on one vehicle that was lower mileage and in our budget. Alex assisted us through every step of the process. This included the loan, having a 3rd party inspect the vehicle, getting it transported to us in remarkable time and getting it registered in Maine for us as well. I have bought a number of vehicles over time, but I never came across such excellent service. The vehicle was clean and in great shape and my better half was very happy which makes me happy. The only regret I have was not finding out about Alex and AutoEmpire sooner. Anyone who wants a good vehicle with an individual who doesn't push you to make a sale, but when you make your decision is there for you every step of the way to be sure that you are satisfied, needs to check this site out. The most important thing for me when I am buying a used car is an honest dealer. I found that at AUTO Empire. Alex, Eddie, Carlos, and George were an awesome team. They were up front, honest, no pressure--they were more interested in keeping their outstanding reputation for service with honesty than making a quick sale. I bought a 2013 Nissan Juke for my wife and it is really in mint condition and I got it below market value. I would be willing to pay more for a used car from an honest dealer, and here I paid below market value from an honest dealer. They also gave me a no cost 30 day warranty which they honored. I had the AC worked on and George did the work and paid for the parts. I was also able to purchase at a reasonable cost a 48-month warranty with "unlimited mileage"! I truly recommend AUTO Empire for your used car purchase. You'll be in great hands. They know that a happy customer will return and will be their best advestiment.

just as my eyes were beginning to go square from all the time spent scrolling through used cars, a delightful VolvoC30 hatchback jumped out at me. I did not have much faith I would be able to see the desirable daily driver that day- or better yet- drive it home! But Alex was completely responsive from the first query I made and within minutes, I was in a cab headed to his dealership (which is perfectly situated near L&B Spumoni Gardens). So as I committed to the purchase and the car was getting inspected and registered and the office tended to all the boring administrative stuff, I stuffed my face across the street and returned completely full and thrilled how perfectly the day worked out! Alex and crew made the process SO quick and painless and I thank them for their responsiveness and honesty. I hope to have this car for a while as it is mechanically in tip top shape but would certainly recommend them to others.

Alex @ auto empire sells quality used vehicles at incredibly reasonably prices. What’s advertised is what’s sold and nothing hidden. No unnecessary fees or gimmicks. I couldn’t be more pleased with my first car, a 2008 Mazda 3. New car buyers or seasoned ones have no fear because you’re going to be driving off in exactly what you want. Also check his site for updated listings often because he’s gets a variety of different makes and models and updates as soon as there not available. All in all a pleasant and detailed transaction + experience. There was a slight issue with my car and Alex even advised that I shouldn’t take my purchased car from a few days til the part arrived and was installed to ensure my safety and cars overall quality but I did and was still allowed to bring it back for that promised part and installation once it arrived. a+++++++ come on by and drive away pleased!

Got a car from here in December. I called beforehand and spoke to Eddie who was very professional and polite. I came right down to the shop to check out the car I was interested in and he let me take it to my mechanic to get it checked out. The prices are non-negotiable but they are very fair for what you get so this is understandable. The car was in great condition for what it was so I ended up getting it. Eddie and his employees worked with me and helped me get an insurance plan, and all the paperwork needed so I can leave with my newly purchased car. Everything was done on the spot and took less than an hour. I had a pleasure dealing with the people who work here, they seemed very honest to me and I would definitely recommend it to people looking for a used vehicle.

Had a great experience with Alex at Auto Empire. He was very reasonable when it came to negotiating the price. A couple weeks after I bought the car, I found out it needed brakes and they replaced the brakes free of charge. There were a few little cosmetic details and parts that were needed and Alex followed through for 6 weeks after purchase until the parts were available and the car was finally in tip top shape. They made sure that anything they promised to repair before the sale was repaired. Bottom line is Auto Empire are fair and legit and stand by their cars 100%. I would feel confident recommending them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced used vehicle. They made the whole process very easy!

Its been about a month now........ We live by every car dealership possible but by chance took an hour drive to go to Auto Empire. Upon arrival we felt totally comfortable. It’s very seldom buying a car is like buying groceries! I bought a used car after test driving a few cars I was interested in. I got a fair trade in for my 10 year old suv towards a small vehicle that is easier to park in the overpopulated Brooklyn. It also gets much better mileage which is essential in today’s economy. I went on 2 months worth of wild goose chases with other companies who advertise cars they don’t have just to get customers through the door. Alex, Eddie and Carlos are the truth. We went to a previous dealer. (Begins with Nissan! ) Anywho left from that pure waste of time spoke with Alex about a 2016 Lincoln MKT. Awesome first-time car buying experience from these guys. They had exactly the vehicle I wanted (a super low mileage 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis) and they handled everything that needed to be handled and walked me through the process patiently and quickly. This dealership is the best place I’ve been too hands down!!! The staff were very VERY helpful. Alex the sales manager , Carlos the insurance helper, and joe the mechanic were all HELPFUL. Especially Carlos, he helped me with my insurance where I got quoted 700$ a month ( for a different car) and we talked with insurance company and idk how he did it and now I only have to pay $430 for 6 month premium!! I have been through the long drawn out process of purchasing a car. This process was cut down significantly , The issues I previously had with other dealerships, such as all the dealership fee’s that’s usually added on to our vehicle purchases was non existent . I test drive the vehicle love what I felt and saw , worked out a trade in arrangement and the following day I was able to pick up my vehicle . As apart of my usual routine I took the care to its maker (Acura) for a diagnosis , minor things like brakes was needed . When I contacted the dealer they scheduled me in to fix those repairs immediately .

Great place, honest service, friendly and helpful assistants, an all around positive experience - definitely recommended. Eric never missed a call or text and had the car inspected, insured via a statefarm agent right there in the office, registered and plated so I drove off the lot the same day. Any question was answered with a researched and verifiable response. The best touch was after I had calculated a wrong amount for the extended warranty and cut the check, Eric saw the mistake in the final calculations and returned the overpayment - now that's honest! I am so impressed with the customer service from Alex, Eddie and the whole team at Auto Empire. I purchased a Ford Escape Hybrid in late June from them. They made the purchase easy and I picked it up with plates and everything the next day. In addition, I went back this past week because it leaked in the heavy rain that happened earlier in the week. Despite it being past our agreed warranty period, they took a look and found it to be a blocked drain pipe which they fixed without charge. With such great customer service, I'm happy to recommend them.

Alex was fast to text back to me EVERY TIME. When I asked to have an independent pre-purchase inspection, they said no problem and drove the car to the place I had found. A small issue was found which Alex got fixed. Eddie and Tiffany were good also, fast, efficient, helpful and no- nonsense. We had almost bought a car at two other places, but both places gave us such a hassle about agreeing to a pre-purchase inspection that we decided not to move forward. So glad we waited to get the car we wanted with excellent service at Auto Empire Brooklyn.

Great customer service Alex and Eddy are friendly and will make sure you understand the process and will break down everything that you will be paying for. Unfortunately my rear windows does not work and I have to replace the part that makes the windows go up and down. Update: I received an message from Alex the same day I posted my review and he told to bring in the car to fix my windows with no problem. They fixed my windows and offered to fix another issue with my car. I will rerecommend doing business with them. 100% great customer service.

I recently purchased a 2010 Mercury Mountaineer AWD. It was a pleasure to deal with Alex in making this purchase. He was professional and courteous. The pictures were great, gave me a clear idea of the condition of the SUV, Alex also with his phone showed me live view of the SUV. The Car Fax had good detailed information. Alex also arranged delivery of the SUV to NH. The delivery was timely (3 days). Felt very comfortable doing business with Alex, and would recommend the dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a vehicle.

It took me forever to find a decent dealership in New York and I can say with upmost confidence that the guys at Auto Empire are bar far one of the best in town. All the cars they have are on average better quality than others. They. are all clean and generally decently functioning. I bought a Subaru Outback and I'm super happy. I wish every experience someone could have buying a car for the first time was as seamless as Alex and his staff made it. Everything was easy and well explained. First purchase of a vehicle, and I came in and left on the same day with the car in hand. Had an issue with a Tire Pressure Sensor, and when I reached out, I was asked to drop by and he’ll have it taken cared of. It was fixed and was on my way within 30 minutes. They are really helpful and willing to work with you. They care for for people. In process of purchasing a 2009 hyundai genesis. The car sounds alright and everything looks and sounds alright. Little hiccup with the head stand and they are willing to fix it. I grew up in midwest and all my family is from nyc. I know cars just like my cousin Vinnys wife...they are willing to work with you. Remember just come with the money. I need this car for my job so, it is a good deal.

Bought a used Ford Escape Hybrid AWD with very low mileage and have been very pleased with the purchase. The folks at Auto Empire priced it very fairly and gave a good trade in value for an old junker I brought in. Everyone there was courteous, straight forward, honest and very easy to work with. We saw the listing for the vehicle we bought on eBay. I very quickly thought this was a good deal. Little did I know I had found a great deal. The vehicle is in great condition, low mileage and thoroughly checked. Alex, Eddie, and Carlos took excellent care of us. I recently purchased a vehicle from Empire auto. It seems to be in great condition. Hopefully it will maintain the reliability standard. The price advertised online was the actual price. On a scale comparing them to the very super shady dealerships in that surrounding area Empire rates a 5. I’ve only had the vehicle for about 2 weeks. So I am hoping that the vehicles holds true to being in great condition. The owner is very friendly and cooperative.

I bought a 2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD from Edward, and I can't be happier. I have always wanted a Toyota and this was perfect. My dad and I trailered it back to western PA. I have since changed all the fluids, installed a 3 inch lift and got 32 inch tires, and a decent alignment with all the stock suspension components. It runs, drives, and looks amazing. I would recommend Auto Empire to anyone if they are willing to drive that far for a vehicle.
